With all but one enemy defeated Jack, Leo and Juliet make their way to the top of Mount Apocrypha with Empress' words fresh in their minds. However there is no time for distractions, Miraak awaits on the top of the mountain for his fated Duel against Jack.
62. The Summit of Apocrypha
Jack, Leo and Juliet were silent as they climbed Mount Apocrypha, the air was heavy they all could feel Jack was on edge and nervous.
'So.' Leo broke the silence: 'Miraak is the last of the Dark Signers, no signs of Wiraqocha Rasca, not even Errol was foolish enough to mess with that one.' Jack nodded in agreement.
'So we take down Miraak then what?' Juliet wondered as they were nearing the top of the mountain: 'We reached a dead end, even if Ravin finds this Duban we might not get information out of him.'
Jack stopped for a moment. 'We'll find Ebony and Ivory, would be hard since we don't know their real names, but this secret government organization they're working for might be able to tell us where we could find Sabrina, she's going to be our next target.' Jack looked up at the mountain, they only needed to climb one ladder that was placed there conveniently. 'We can't forget about Empress.' Juliet spoke.
'And we need to find Richard before he kills himself.' Leo added.
Jack looked back at his friends and smiled: 'One thing at a time.' He said then he started to climb the ladder.
At the top of mountain Jack saw what he had feared ever since he had Dueled Alduin, the same arena a Duel in which the Duelists harnessed the power of their Monsters to attack each other physically, Miraak was standing on top of his flying D-Wheel it hovered in the exact middle of the arena, his back was turned to Jack.
'So you've come.' The Priest spoke without turning around he then chuckled. 'Your Duel against Alduin was quite the show, too bad you had to end him.' The D-Wheel slowly started to descent a bit. 'Alduin was a good puppet, no grain of free will in him, I guess that in the end you provided him a service, he always hated that human body.' Slowly Miraak turned around. 'Of course I had to dangle a carrot just out of his reach, that made a lot more willing to comply.' He let out another chuckle: 'There never was a body for him, had he beaten you I would have killed him just the same.'
Jack said nothing in return his body was filled with disgust for the Dragon Priest. 'I can see it in your eyes Jack, your hatred for me it fuels you, takes your fear away.' Miraak cackled.
'I'm not afraid of you any longer Miraak, in you I can see the frightened child you really are, realizing you're just a puppet like Alduin, though Alduin realized he was being played like one, you look away pretend it's not true, only because you have no clue who is controlling you. It's sad really.'
Miraak clenched his fist then he calmed down he snapped his fingers a circle of purple flames appeared around Jack separating him from his allies.
'You think I do not know?' Miraak finally replied: 'I know what Sabrina is, I know what Empress is you think you can stand up to beings like them? It takes a God to take them down, a God I possess.' He spread his arms: 'Once I'm done with the three of you I shall consume the power of the Crimson Dragon myself, as the first Dragonborn all dragons obey me, with the power of the Earthbound God and the Crimson Dragon I shall rid the world of all fake Gods!'
Jack shook his head: 'Misguided, talking to you has no more use you've completely lost it.' Jack held his Duel Disk in front of his chest. 'Let this Duel begin.' He calmly spoke.
'You know I have been waiting for this moment for a long time.' Miraak replied his black Duel Disk activated, gracefully he leaped off his flying D-Wheel slowly the thing changed into it's bike form.
'I can see the hatred in your eyes Jack, but your fear it smells sweet.' The Dragonborn laughed as he drew his opening hand, Jack followed his example. 'You want to tear my head off, but you're trembling from fear.'
Jack carefully sorted his cards something he normally never did, Miraak was right he was shaking, not from fear it was anger.
'Enough talk Miraak you're only a puppet to Sabrina, she's my target and you? You're just a minor inconvenience.'
Miraak fell silent Jack saw his fist was starting to shake in anger.
'Enough talk Dovahkiin.' Miraak growled as he took three cards from his hand.
(Miraak: 8000) - (Jack: 8000)
'I Summon Infernity Beetle.' Miraak stated the black beetle appeared behind him on one of the platforms. (1200 ATK)
'Next I Set these two.' The Dragonborn continued as two more cards appeared facedown outside the purple flames that formed the arena.
Jack drew his card he looked at Miraak's Field he knew it was a trap.
'I discard Quillbolt Hedgehog so I can Special Summon The Tricky.' Jack stated behind him appeared the jester with a question mark on his face. (2000 ATK)
'I attack Infernity Beetle!' He shouted he drew his sword then leaped at Miraak, the Dragonborn stretched his arm and a wicked-looking, black sword appeared in his hand, he easily deflected Jack's attack the first time then Jack drew his second sword he managed to stab Miraak in his side, the Infernity beetle behind him scattered.
(Miraak: 7200) - (Jack: 8000)
'I activate Infernity Reflector.' He Dragonborn casually said the sword in his side didn't seem to bother him at all.
'I discard my hand so that Infernity Beetle returns.' Miraak dropped the cards on the ground where they disappeared in purple flames, then black mist gathered on the platform as the big beetle reappeared. (0 DEF)
'Now I get to deal 1000 damage.' Miraak said: 'Fus Ro Dah!' The Dragonborn Shouted Jack was launched backwards he could feel the sword getting ripped out of Miraak's body Jack landed with his back into the purple barrier, an intense burning feeling shot through his body he screamed as he tried to get away from the barrier as soon as possible.
(Miraak: 7200) - (Jack: 7000)
'That barrier is only deadly once an Earthbound God is on the Field, I wouldn't want this to be over too soon.' Miraak said with a chuckle in his voice, Jack felt his back there were no wounds. 'I end my turn with this.' Jack replied with a growl a facedown Spell or Trap card appeared outside the barrier.
Miraak drew his card. 'I activate Altar of the Bound Deity.' He stated one of his facedown cards opened up, behind him rose a square, stone structure with a stone temple sitting on top, stairs lead to the temple on each of the four corners stood a brazier.
'During each of my Standby Phase this card gains an Earthbound God Counter for each face-up Defense Position Monster.' One of the braziers lit up.
'Now I Summon Infernity Archfiend!' Behind Miraak appeared the orange-haired Fiend, standing in a T-pose. (1800 ATK)
'Next I use the Effect of Infernity Beetle.' Miraak spread his arms the single beetle disappeared and two reappeared in it's place. (1200 ATK x2)
'I Tune Level two Infernity Beetle to Level four Infernity Archfiend!' Miraak shouted both Monsters started to glow. 'The power of the dark enhance my servant with your unholy might! Synchro Summon! Rise up from the black of the void, Infernity Doom Archfiend!' He chanted, the taller, more dangerous version of Infernity Archfiend appeared behind the Dragon Priest. (2200 ATK)
'Now I Tune my other Infernity Beetle to Infernity Doom Archfiend.' Both Monsters started to glow once more. 'The voice of the chosen, calling down the dragon to serve! From hell itself shall it answer! Synchro Summon! Darkness show yourself, Infernity Doom Dragon!'
A roar sounded over the mountain, behind Miraak appeared the pitch-black dragon, it's tattered wings were spread it's head was pointed at the sky, all four of it's arms it held in front of it, the massive tail rested behind it. (3000 ATK)
Miraak spread his arms in each appeared a sword with a black blade.
'I attack the Tricky.' Miraak stated then he leaped forward making a wide slash aimed at Jack's neck. 'Scrap-Iron Scarecrow!' Jack roared the Trap card sprung open and the scarecrow appeared before Miraak protecting Jack from the deadly blow, Miraak leaped back.
'When Infernity Doom Archfiend was used in the Summon of a Dark Type Synchro Monster that Monster can attack Monsters twice.' With incredible speed Miraak attacked again, Jack was barely on time by grabbing his sword and deflecting the blow, the sword was smashed out of his hands then Miraak hit Jack on the jaw with the knob of his sword, The Tricky shattered behind Jack.
(Miraak: 7200) - (Jack: 6000)
Jack touched his jaw an intense pain shot through his body, he opened and closed his mouth a few times making sure it wasn't broken then he drew his card. 'Miraak is slow, I had expected his Earthbound God already.' Jack thought as he looked over his hand. 'Seems he's still in his old habits normally he would throw out his Dark Synchro which of course he can't do now so Infernity Doom Dragon is the replacement.' Jack quickly played one of his cards, the orange Tuner robot: Junk Synchron appeared behind him. (1300 ATK)
'Through Junk Synchron I Special Summon Quillbolt Hedgehog.' Jack explained his other orange Monster appeared behind him as well. (800 DEF)
'The way Miraak Duels is that he Summons Ccapac Apu the moment he knows he can win or if he is losing severely, even so without his Earthbound God he is a force to be reckoned with.'
Jack looked at his two Monsters and the third card he had chosen.
'I Tune Junk Synchron and Quillbolt Hedgehog.'
Both of Jack's Monsters started to glow.
'Gathering stars light the way to my destiny, become the path to great power! Synchro Summon! Appear, Junk Warrior!' Jack chanted in a flash of light behind him appeared the mighty Warrior. (2300 ATK)
'You have truly lost it.' Miraak spoke his voice cold: 'You're afraid, you claim you're not but I can see it.' Miraak let out a chuckle: 'You're glad Ccapac Apu isn't on the Field, you think I will only call it when I'm sure I can win or when I'm losing, truth is I can end this whenever I want.' Miraak's gaze shifted from Jack to his Junk Warrior. 'You're afraid to call Stardust Dragon here you think that will bait my Earthbound God.'
Jack's eye twitched he started to sweat.
'I activate Scrap Fist.' Jack softly spoke completely ignoring Miraak the Dragon Priest was caught by surprise, the Spell card appeared on the Field.
'With this my Junk Warrior gains five Effects only two of those are relevant, when Junk Warrior attacks this turn it cannot be Destroyed by Battle and it Destroys the attack target.'
Jack drew his blade he charged in Miraak drew his own weapon.
'Zun Haal Viik!' Miraak's sword flung across the room, Miraak laughed: 'Fo Krah Diin!' The Dragon Priest shouted Jack felt the frost biting at his skin, quickly he retreated his skin showed severe burns, Jack knew that Juliet would patch him up after the Duel.

Behind Miraak his Dragon scattered in pixels.
'Your move again.' Jack said.
Miraak said nothing as he drew his card, Jack could imagine the grin he had under his mask. 'I Summon Infernity Necromancer.' Behind Miraak appeared the purple, robe wearing skeletal Fiend. (0 ATK- 2000 DEF)
'When Necromancer is Normal Summoned it is changed to Defense Mode, now I use it's Effect to Special Summon an Infernity Monster from my Graveyard.'
Miraak spread his arms as a mighty roar heralded the return of Infernity Doom Dragon. (3000 ATK)
'I use the Effect of Infernity Doom Dragon to Destroy Junk Warrior and deal half of it's Attack Points as Damage.' Miraak cackled he held up his hand a ball of flames started to form.
As Miraak threw the ball of flames at Jack the Dragonborn inhaled: 'Feim Zii Gron!' Jack shouted he felt a warm feeling in his body, when Miraak's spell hit him it didn't hurt at all, frustrated the Dragon Priest launched an icicle at Jack followed by some lightning none of which hurt him.

Jack drew his card. 'Miraak, you control a Monster and I control none so I Special Summon Level Warrior as a Level four Monster.' A warrior appeared behind Jack he was dressed in a red jumpsuit with white gloves and boots, a cape flowed behind his back, his face was covered by a round helmet, several stars decorated his costume. (300 ATK)
'Now I Normal Summon Jet Synchron!' Jack shouted on another one of the platforms appeared the blue and white robot shaped like a jet engine. (500 ATK)
'I Tune Level one Jet Synchron and Level four Level Warrior!' Both Monsters started to flash. 'Gathering stars light the way to my destiny, soar through the light to break the darkness! Synchro Summon! Take flight, Jet Warrior!' The black and white fighter jet appeared behind Jack it took it quickly changed into it's robot form. (2100 ATK)
'The Effect of Jet Synchron allows me to add a Junk Monster to my hand and I choose Junk Servant.' Jack quickly retrieved the card from his Deck.
'Now the Effect of Jet Warrior it sends a Monster back to your hand, or in this case the Extra Deck!' Jack shouted Infernity Doom Dragon glowed white then it disappeared.
'Finally I activate Monster Reborn!' Jack continued in a flash of light Junk Warrior reappeared. (2300 ATK)
'I attack Infernity Necromancer with Jet Warrior and then a direct attack with Junk Warrior!' Jack drew both of his swords then he charged in first his first swing Miraak managed to deflect with his Duel Disk then Jack struck him across the chest with his second sword before plunging the first sword into his chest.
(Miraak: 4900) - (Jack: 4150)
Miraak chuckled: 'This body is falling apart Jack, you can't hurt me.'
Jack slowly withdrew his swords. 'Maybe not, but it still functions as a body, if I sever your spine you'll be helpless.' Jack replied as he walked back to his side of the Field. 'I end my turn.'
Miraak checked his wounds, there was no blood this time Jack had missed his spine, quickly the Dragon Priest drew his card. 'I activate Card of Demise.' He stated the Spell card flashed on the Field quickly he drew three more cards, then one-by-one he placed them in his Duel Disk one appeared as a hidden Monster on one of the platforms the other two appeared on the edges of the arena.
'Now who is scared Miraak? Hiding behind your Monsters?' Jack said in a mocking tone as he drew his card, the Dragon Priest didn't reply he was focused on his Deck he was on edge, Jack knew that soon Ccapac Apu would come out, the way Miraak was staring at his Deck was it fear? Did Miraak fear his Earthbound God?
Jack shook his head details he shouldn't be thinking about didn't matter if Miraak was afraid or not if that Earthbound God hit the Field he needed to deal with it and currently it didn't look good for Jack.
'I attack the defending Monster!' Jack roared he drew his sword and charged in, Miraak parried Jack's blow. 'Fus Ro Dah!' The Priest shouted forcing Jack back to his side of the Field, behind Miraak Jack saw the fiendish shield that was Infernity Guardian. (1700 DEF)
Quickly Jack placed a card from his hand in his Duel Disk it appeared outside the arena. 'I end my turn.' He then stated.
Miraak quietly drew his card a second brazier on the temple lit up.
'I activate Offerings to the Bound Deity.' Miraak's first facedown Trap card opened up. 'I pay half my Life Points to give two Counters to Altar of the Bound Deity.' Purple mist flowed out of the Dragon Priest the last two braziers lit up as well.
(Miraak: 2450) - (Jack: 4150)
'Next I activate Metaverse!' The Dragon Priest continued, the clay soldiers rose up alongside the mountain as Miraak activated his Mausoleum of the Emperor. 'And now it's time!' Miraak roared as he spread his arms, purple lines appeared all through Apocrypha, the mountain stood in the exact middle of the purple lines, a purple smoke started to swirl around the Dragon Priest. 'The dead and the living, when meeting at point zero! Death surpasses life! Be reborn darkness! Earthbound God Ccapac Apu!' Miraak roared slowly he was lifted from the ground, the purple mist around him intensified when Miraak was hovering far above the mountain the purple mist shot into him, then the stone, pulsating heart rose behind the Dragon Priest, the mist that passed through the priest disappeared into the heart, when it cracked an explosion of purple mist washed over the Dragon Priest and Mount Apocrypha, Jack gasped as Ccapac Apu appeared. (3000 ATK)
Miraak's laughter sounded over the mountain.
'No way.' Jack gasped as he saw Miraak in the chest of the Earthbound God. 'I am a God Dovahkiin!' The Dragon Priest roared.
Jack took a step back, he had expected a lot except for this, now he knew why Miraak seemed scared to harness the power of an Earthbound God would be impossible, the creature took him over instead.
'I attack Junk Warrior! Eternal Torment!' He roared Jack saw the massive hand closing in, he waited until the last moment to roll out of the way.
'Futile, I deal damage equal to the attack power your Monster had! Eternal Punisher!' Jack crossed his arms and curled up into a ball to make himself as small a target as possible, right before the fist would hit him he heard a familiar roar in the distance. 'The Crimson Dragon?' Jack gasped a warm feeling filled his body as his Signer Mark started to burn brightly a barrier shielded him from the attack of the Earthbound God.
(Miraak: 2450) - (Jack: 1150)
When the noise in Jack's ears disappeared he opened his eyes, he laid in the middle of a massive crater, Ccapac Apu had fallen back a bit,, quickly Jack leaped back on his feet he drew his card.
'Since you have a card in your hand I attack Infernity Guardian!' Jack shouted he fired a ball of fire at Ccapac Apu the Earthbound God easily deflected it but the Monster outside of his half of the arena exploded.
'I move to my Main Phase Two and Normal Summon Mono Synchron.' Jack stated behind him appeared a small robot it's body, hands and feet were green it's head, arms and legs were green, it had a red ''1'' on it's head. (0 ATK) 'Mono Synchron is a Tuner so I can Special Summon Quillbolt Hedgehog from my Graveyard.' On another platform behind Jack appeared the orange hedgehog. (800 DEF)
'When I use Mono Synchron all other materials must be Level four or lower Machine or Warrior Monsters and they become Level one!' Both Monsters started to glow. 'Gathering stars light the way to my destiny, the race for true power has begun! Synchro Summon, come forth Formula Synchron!' Jack chanted behind him appeared the race car in it's transformed state. 'Thanks to the Effect of Formula Synchron I draw a card.' Jack stated he looked at his card then placed it in his Duel Disk, the card appeared outside of the arena next to his other facedown card.
'I'd love to see you struggle.' Miraak laughed: 'I will crush you now, Eternal Torment!'
Jack saw the fist approaching him. 'Now or never.' He whispered to himself.
'You attack me directly so I can Special Summon Junk Defender!' Behind Jack appeared the small robot with only a head, two arms and a scorpion tail, it used it's arms to shield itself. (1800 DEF)
'You're stalling Jack, even if you force a replay I will still attack you directly!' The Dragon Priest roared.
'Not yet, I activate Staunch Defender!' Jack's second facedown card opened up. 'This turn you can attack only Junk Defender.'
Miraak cursed Jack drew his sword again the Crimson Dragon roared, another barrier protected Jack from the mighty punch, Jack could feel the dark magic against the barrier, with a howling screech the barrier broke, Jack dropped on the ground, the Crimson Dragon cried Jack's Signer Mark stopped glowing.
(Miraak: 2450) - (Jack: 650)
'You're broken Dovahkiin.' Miraak said in a mocking tone Ccapac Apu dissolved as Miraak lowered himself towards Mount Apocrypha the purple mist kept swirling behind him. 'Even your guardian dragon has abandoned you.' Jack was laying on his stomach Miraak pulled Jack's head up by his hair. 'Pathetic, I give you a minute if you haven't made a move by then I'll finish it.' Miraak spread his arms he got lifted in the air again as Ccapac Apu reformed around him.
Jack found himself in a black void, purple mist was the only thing he could see, in the distance he heard Miraak's voice.
'Need to move.' Jack groaned his body felt heavy he couldn't lift himself.
'Thirty seconds.' He heard Miraak's voice, suddenly he felt a warm glow in his body, he managed to lift his head his Signer Mark was glowing faintly.
In the distance Jack heard the cry of the Crimson Dragon.
'Five.' Miraak started to count down suddenly Jack opened his eyes he drew a card. 'So there is still some fight left? At least now I can see the lights go out when I crush you!'
Jack struggled to get back on his feet, the first thing he noticed was a new facedown card of Miraak's side of the Field, he must have played that Spell or Trap card when Jack was out cold. 'I activate Call of the Haunted.' Jack groaned his Trap card opened up and Junk Warrior appeared once more. (2300 ATK)
'You actually think you still stand a chance?' Miraak cackled: 'Let me crush that hope, I activate Spirit Barrier!' The Dragon Priest's new card opened up. 'As long as I control a Monster I can take no damage!' He roared.
'Let's see if that card will help you.' Jack stated: 'I Tune Formula Synchron with Junk Warrior and Jet Warrior!' The three Monsters became enveloped in a bright light soon Jack was caught in it as well, the Dovahkiin closed his eyes as an incredible power filled his body.
'Sacred stars become the path for an ancient evolution! Crash through the barrier of time and space and illuminate this realm with your majestic powers! Delta Accel Synchro descent! Shooting Quasar Dragon!' Jack shouted he felt his Signer Mark burning on his arm slowly he was lifted from the ground as two wings spout out of his back behind Jack appeared a dragon as big as Ccapac Apu it had no legs but three tails instead, the body of the beast was dark-blue with white armor over it, the arms and claws of the beast were massive, four wings in combination with the tails kept it in the air, the dragon had a small head with a nasty horn on it. (4000 ATK)
Jack held up his hand a white sword twice Jack's size appeared in his hand, the blade was glowing white.
'First I activate the Effect of Mausoleum of the Emperor, I pay 1000 Life Points in order to Normal Summon Junk Giant.' The clay soldiers started to shake. 'Since a card Effect is activated I use the Effect of Shooting Quasar Dragon to negate that card's Effect and destroy it.'
Shooting Quasar Dragon roared the clay soldiers started to crumble one-by-one, Miraak let out an angry howl as his power quickly started to disappear, Jack grabbed his sword with both hands then he took a leap, with incredible speed he crashed through Ccapac Apu sword-first, Miraak's scream echoed over Mount Apocrypha as the Dragon priest was thrown into the air like a rag doll.
The Priest looked down a Jack, his mask was cracked the Priest let out a curse as his mask cracked revealing his emaciated face.
'Shooting Quasar Dragon can attack once for each Non-Tuner used in it's Summon.' Jack said Miraak's eyes widened as Jack made a horizontal slash with the sword that illuminated Apocrypha the only thing Jack, Leo and Juliet could hear was Miraak's scream and then the sickening smack of Miraak's body hitting the ground.
(Miraak: 0) - (Jack: 650)
Slowly the light faded there was no more sign of Ccapac Apu Miraak miraculously was still alive, his body was broken his limbs laid in unnatural positions, half of his face was burned off by the light, he coughed before he spoke, his voice was soft and Jack could barely make out the words. 'I still win in the end.'
Jack looked at his once mortal enemy. 'When all the Earthbound Gods are defeated those who's soul they taken return to life.' Jack replied.
'Exactly, I had the last Earthbound God, I will return soon and with you and your friends weakened as you are now you're easy prey.' Miraak's laughter ended up in a cough.
'I've been thinking about that possibility.' Jack replied he took a black crystal out of his pocket.
'A Black Soul Gem?' Miraak gasped.
'Not even the Earthbound Gods can reach into the Soul Cairn, if they never get your soul you cannot be brought back either.'
Just as Jack prepared himself to cast the spell that would allow him to trap Miraak several spikes shot through the body of the Dragon Priest the lights in his eyes died out. 'Hermaeus Mora.' Jack said with a sigh the giant eyeball appeared in mid-air.
'This game has gone on for long enough.' The Daedric Prince spoke.
'I allowed Miraak to use my realm, I was interested to see what you would do against a God, suffices to say I am disappointed in Miraak's performance.'
Jack walked back to Leo's and Juliet's side. 'Don't think that I owe you for this Hermaeus, I never asked you'd take care of Miraak.'
The Prince replied with a hollow laughter. 'I did this for myself, Miraak escaped my grasp once, this time I shall make sure he'll stays, there is much I can learn from...' Suddenly Hermaeus stopped talking, a bubble had appeared around him with a loud screech the Daedric Prince disappeared.
'What just happened?' Leo asked confused in the meantime Juliet was tending to Jack's wounds. 'I don't know but just be glad Hermaeus is gone.' Jack replied.
Suddenly the sound of someone clapping broke the silence. 'That was a wonderful show.' A male voice spoke.
'I was hoping you'd win, makes it more interesting.' A female voice added Jack looked where a portal had opened in mid-air, two figures slowly descended towards the mountain, the man was dressed in black robes, the woman was wearing white.
'Ebony? Ivory?' Jack stammered as he recognized the two.
'I never thought you'd play your part this well Jack.' Ebony spoke he let out a soft chuckle: 'All this energy releasing when Signer Dragons and Earthbound Gods clash.'
Then Ivory spoke: 'We taught you how to use Delta Synchro Summons and you used it well.'
Juliet and Leo looked confused, Jack was trying to piece things together. 'So why are you here?' Jack asked to stall a bit.
'Poor thing is confused.' Ivory chuckled.
'I'll make it simple for you.' Ebony spoke: 'We didn't lie, we work for the government, the New Government.'
Jack shrugged: 'That should mean anything?' He asked.
'Sabrina leads the New Government.' Ivory continued: 'Duban, Ghard and Kamdida are the right hands of Sabrina.'
Meanwhile Ebony lowered his robes then he grabbed his stomach and ripped his flesh away revealing a hole where his stomach was supposed to be, all kinds of tubes and wires filled his guts, attached to those wires were several Black Soul Gems.
Jack was shocked to see this, Ivory meanwhile revealed she was the same as Ebony. 'Sabrina.' Ebony then spoke: 'As well as Duban's team are Dwemer, there are only five of them left.'
Jack shook his head: 'Dwemer a race we would call Dwarves, actually they were a kind of Elves, a warmongering race if we need to believe the tales, far advanced in their technology, all they had were lost in time when the meteorite struck, their vast underground cities gone but the Dwemer were extinct long before that.'
Ebony and Ivory looked at each other. 'Dwemer Constructs the mechanical army of the Dwemer, the defenders of their homes.' Ebony spoke.
'The Dwemer DNA still existed.' Ivory continued: 'Sealed away together with the magic, all was unleashed but only six full blood Dwemer exists.' She concluded.
'Sabrina and Duban's team are four, I suspected something for awhile, Ravin was different couldn't put my finger on it, until now.' Jack said.
'Yes Ravin the traitor, we have a surprise for him.' Ebony said with a sinister tone in his voice. 'That explains why Ravin was so burned on getting after Duban, but we can't worry about him now.' Leo spoke.
'So who's the sixth?' Jack asked.
'She is not here anymore.' Ivory spoke: 'She was a brilliant mind able to combine to the old Dwemer technologies with modern technologies, she created us, the most brilliant Dwemer Constructs ever made.'
Ebony then continued: 'She was sick, for how great her mind was, she couldn't quell the decease that plagued her, she was also the final Dark Signer, it is her soul that powers us.' A purple light started to shine on the arms of Ebony and Ivory, it was shaped like a bird the Mark of the Condor, the left half was on Ivory's arm the right half on Ebony's arm.
