"You are late," Russal looked at Kazan who had just entered the room coldly, "You shouldn't be late."
"Be quiet, old man," Kazan took off his hat, hanging it on the hanger. He slowly took off his Oni mask that he bought on the street, revealing the one under the mask.
He smiled at the rest in the room.
"We still have a lot of time," He looked around the room to find only the two of them in it, "Where are your men?"
Russal, who was sitting in the chair, had a dagger in his hand that he was playing with. Hearing Kazan's words, he sneered and threw the dagger into the table in front of him.
"Kazan, you have to know that in Siracusa, we often cut off a finger of the kind of person who is late for a meeting," He warned, "About my men, they are on the streets, to get an idea area."
"Quite smart of you," Facing Russal's threat, Kazan shrugged indifferently, "Luckily for me this is not Siracusa. This is just a very ordinary, very relaxed town, and it is preparing for the upcoming Halloween festival."
He stared back at Russal.
"So, Russal, why should you keep your face sullen? Before the mission starts, enjoy the atmosphere of Halloween. Enjoy yourself," He smirked, "Is that so hard to do? As far as I know, you don't have such a holiday in Siracusa."
"No need," Russal said impatiently, "In short, you shouldn't be late, and don't tell me any excuses."
"Okay, okay, it's my fault," Kazan held up his hands and surrendered. "It won't happen next time, but I was not late because I was messing around. I want to gather information to ensure your mission can be successful."
Russal snorted coldly, but he did not speak.
Kazan tidied up his clothes then sat opposite Russal, smiling at him, "Do you know why I booked this hotel?"
Russal looked at Kazan. He stayed quiet, indicating that he was letting him continue.
"Because of our goal, the Ghost Hunter lady, also lives in this hotel."
Russal's expression finally changed a little, raising his brow at him, "Where is she then? Which room?"
Kazan knew that he would act like this. The smile on his face became a bit brighter.
"Don't be anxious, old man," He chuckled, "Is it possible that you plan to do something here?"
"Yes," Answered without hesitation, "Why?"
"Please, this is not Siracusa," Kazan rolled his eyes at him, "You can't act like this. You should know how many outsiders came from all over the world to participate in Halloween, right?"
"So, what?" Russal folded his hands, leaned on the chair, looking displeased at him, "We are the ones that will do the dirty work. You just need to give us the money and tell us the number of her room. Me and my boys will give that girl to you without any problems."
"Is this how a typical person from Siracusa thinks?" Kazan sighed, "Old man, I am trying to explain to you this so that this mission will not come to bite us after all of this. I really want to get that woman. Anyway, I won't pay you less anyway, one more day and one more day, what are you anxious about?"
Kazan snorted coldly, "If you have seen monsters that we have, you too will be impatient like me. I don't know how the people here are all happy and go luckily all the time. Have you never been to Siracusa?"
"Is that so," Kazan smiled, "There is nothing to worry about. Most of the people who come to Halloween are children. Children always like to look around. But what you said is right."
Kazan then went into deep thought.
"In that case, then just give it a try then," Kazan said, "You are the professional."
"Oh?" Russal drew the dagger from the table, "Tell me which room it is, I can bring that woman to you in ten minutes. Maybe even less than that."
"Don't worry, old man," Kazan said, "I said to give it a try. I didn't let you tie her back with brute force. After all, she is not that kind of woman. She is still quite strong."
Russal is very disdainful. "It's just a woman, how strong can she be?"
"Yuki Kurotsuki, this is her full name," Kazan said softly. "You probably haven't heard of the Kurotsuki family?"
"I heard of them," Russal frowned, "They are from Higashi, right?"
"You know your stuff. Yes they are from there. They are quite a well known family there. Yuki, our target, is the most talented young generation of that family, He informed him, "Legend has it that she had learned the whole set of Ghost Valley Sword Technique when she was 13 years old."
Kazan knocked on the table lightly, "She was also the greatest candidate to inherit the family. I don't know why she chose to leave the family and become a ghost hunter, travelling all over the world."
"... Interesting,'' The Lupo hummed. Russal's eyes narrowed slightly, "In that case, if i had to guess, you want his woman not just because of the identity of the Ghost Hunter, right?"
Kazan smiled, "You can see it, but I also did not lie. Such a beautiful woman, with such a legendary identity, there are countless rich people who are willing to pay to have her."
Russal sneered, "Is this the only reason why we are going to get her? If that is so, with how much you are paying us, why don't you just get a bunch of Feline slaves?"
"But a hundred little girls from the Feline clan are not as good as a young master of the Kurotsuki clan."
"... It's your money." Russal shrugged, "I really don't care, just give me the room number and I will get her. But I need more than what you pay us now, we're dealing with a well-known figure."
Kazan sighed, "Old man, you really know how to dry up my wallet. Okay, since you have said so, I will add one third to the original price. Don't cause a scene. It should not be difficult for you, you don't need to fight her because I have this."
Under Russal's gaze, Kazan took out a small paper bag from his pocket and put it on the table.
Russal picked up the small paper bag, shaking near to his ear, he heard something rustling in it. He opened the bag to see what it was.
"Powdered medicine? Are you asking me to give her medicine?" He raised a brow at the Leithanien, "You think this method can deal with her? Are you joking?"
Listening to Russal's harsh tone, Kazan smiled again, "This is not any ordinary powder. This powder is specially made for the Oni of the East. It has a special effect on them."
Russal brows frowned, "It has a special effect on Oni?"
"Yes, the Oni race is a very special race, and in many ways, they are different from other races, and this drug is aimed at their special physique," Kazan said, "If it dissolves in water, it will be colourless and tasteless. When any Oni drinks it, the strength of their whole body would be quickly lost in a matter of seconds."
Russal squinted and looked at it, "That is to say, as long as she takes this powder, I can bring her back without any effort? Since it is so simple, why do you have to spend a lot of money to do it?"
"It's not a simple matter for her to take this powder. She is not a naive girl," Kazan explained, "It won't be easy. So, this powder is just one way to deal with her. If this fails, you can deal with her."
"Is that so," Russal nodded, "In that case, I will send one of my men to test your powder first. But I'm going to deal with her. If it succeeds directly, you need to pay the remuneration. If it fails, let me go out in person. You still need to add more money."
The corners of Kazan's mouth twitched slightly, "You-."
"If you don't want to, you can go out now," Russal said lightly.
Kazan sighed and said, "Well, if that's what you want."
Russal smiled, "Glad to hear that. So, what is her room number."
"Open the paper bag, I have already written on it."
Russal opened the paper bag and saw a number.
35.
