Chapter 21:

"Welcome, welcome, to my glorious, smelly factory," Heisenberg yelled, sticking out his arms for theatrics as he walked down the stairs. You gripped the machete in your pocket tightly. "Now, I know this isn't exactly what we had planned on," Heisenberg said as he continued to walk down the stairs, "but I think the two of you deserve the truth. Wouldn't you agree, Y/N?" he asked you.

You and Ethan looked at him confused. "What plan?" Ethan asked as Heisenberg waved his hand for the two of you to follow him.

"Oh, the original plan was that Y/N was going to lead you here in a trap and I would send the lycans after you and take back the flask you have from Lady Super-Sized Bitch." he said. Ethan glared at you and pulled out his gun pointing it at you. You pulled out the machete Cassandra had given you and held it up.

"Woah, woah, woah! Calm down there, killers!" Heisenberg said, waving his hand and Ethan's gun and your machete suddenly flew right into his hands. Wait… that was familiar…. You scrunched up your eyes in shock at the lord who smiled at you. "Remember that?" he asked you.

"I…"

"You were tricking me?!" Ethan yelled at you.

"Yeah, she was but don't worry I won't let her do that. Bros before hoes, am I right?" Heisenberg chuckled before you could answer Ethan.

"No, no way! I am not coming inside of this death trap!" Ethan yelled.

"Don't worry, Ethan! I'm not gonna kill you. Believe me, if I wanted to do that, I already would have!" Heisenberg said. "And don't be mad at Y/N, it was Super-Sized Bitch's idea in the first place! She's the one who sent Tiny here to do her dirty work."

"Okay, first of all, I'm almost as tall as you are," you said to Heisenberg, "second of all, Lady Super-Sized Bitch is a funny name, I'll admit, but don't call her that!" Heisenberg laughed at you and slapped one of his greasy hands over your back making you stumble a little.

"You haven't changed at all! Still the same old annoying and stubborn little shit, aren't you?" he asked you.

"I've never met you before, what are you…." The gesture he made with his hand when both of your weapons had shot straight into his hands… it was familiar. You could feel someone holding you against a wall. When you opened your eyes again you saw the man you followed pinning you with a hammer against the cave wall. You punched him in the nose causing him to briefly stagger which gave you enough time to push him off you and quickly pull out your gun. He laughed out loud, a trail of blood oozing down his nostril, and waved his hand somehow making your gun fly from your hands and into his. "You can't use metal against me, moron!" he said.

"Do you remember now?" Heisenberg asked you.

"I… I wasn't even sure if that was real or not," you said.

"If what was real?" Ethan asked.

"Well, it's kind of a long story, but Y/N here has amnesia, she doesn't remember her past," Heisenberg said.

"Do you?" you asked him, following him up the stairs and towards an elevator.

"How would I remember your past? I'm not you, I don't have your memories!" Heisenberg said. Was he teasing you?

"Heisenberg! Do you know how I got to the Village?!" you asked him, grabbing his arm and turning him around. He glared at you and pushed your arm off of his.

"God, yes I remember! Just calm down and wait for a minute. I'll explain everything to you in my office!" he said, pushing a button on an elevator. You spared Ethan a glance who was looking at you like he wanted to shoot you.

"Right, guess I should apologize to you for that," you said, rubbing the back of your neck.

"Save it. I don't want to hear any more bullshit coming out of your mouth," he said firmly.

"Good luck with that!" Heisenberg said to Ethan, laughing and stepped off of the elevator walking through a maze of machines and to metal doors. He pulled out a set of keys and opened the door. There was a workbench with a single lamp on the table and a bookshelf littered with metal parts and some screws and bolts inside the room. It was pretty much empty, except for a board with a sheet over it.

"Now Y/N, I know why you're here. But as for you, Ethan, I know what you're thinking. Take me and my so-called sibling out, and then you get to go and save Rose, right?"

"I'm healing my daughter," Ethan said.

"Look, y-you're going about this all wrong," Heisenberg started saying but was interrupted by the sound of a chainsaw that came from somewhere inside of the factory. "Damnit, I'm talking here!" he said, looking at a trap door from the floor and stormed over to it. He opened it up and yelled, "Shut your fucking hole," before turning back to you and Ethan and pulling up two chairs for you and Ethan to sit. "Sorry about that. Take a seat."

You and Ethan looked at each other and watched as Heisenberg walked over to the desk. "Listen, Ethan, Y/N, you're both being played."

"What are you talking about? You think this is a game?" Ethan asked.

"What do you mean we're being played?" you asked him. Did Alcina really send you here to be set up by the lycans?

Heisenberg became frustrated once he turned around to see that the two of you hadn't moved. He walked up to the board and angrily pulled the sheet off of it before throwing a knife at it and then stomped over to you and Ethan. "I said sit!" he yelled, pushing the two of you into the chairs. You looked over at the board and saw a bunch of pictures of the Lords, you, Rose, Miranda and a woman you had never seen before.

"What the hell?" Ethan said.

"What the fuck is that?" you asked Heisenberg.

He looked back over to the board and stretched his arm out, using his powers to move the knife that was lodged into the board. "Lady Super-Sized Bitch," the knife immediately became dislodged and then stabbed the picture of Donna, "Ugly-ass psycho doll," the knife then stabbed a picture of Lord Moreau, "and that moronic freak." He looked at you and Ethan expectedly and you just felt confused and frustrated. Where the hell was he going with this?

"Don't you get it?" he asked.

"No," you said.

"I wasn't talking to you, Tiny!" he said to you and then turned his attention back to Ethan. "It's a test, to see if you're strong enough… to be part of Miranda's family."

"I don't WANT to be part of Miranda's family-"

"Neither did she or me," he said, gesturing to you and throwing his hands up dramatically again. "But here we are! Kill my bitch sister, then that freak with the doll and that idiot fish-boy, and I'd be next in line, right? Kill me, move up the chain! Well, fuck that!" Heisenberg yelled, turning back around to his conspiracy board and throwing his hand over making the knife tear straight across the board, ripping through all of the pictures and into the ceiling.

"I don't give a damn about your personal issues!" Ethan yelled to him. "I just want to fix my daughter!" Heisenberg chuckled at him and turned around to face Ethan.

"So do I! Do you have any idea how powerful that kid is? Even Miranda is scared of her-" He was interrupted by the sound of a chainsaw again and yelled at the trap door. "Last time, you freak, I swear to god…!" You and Ethan looked over to the trap door on the floor and listened as the noises quieted down.

Heisenberg took a couple of deep breaths, took off his sunglasses, and turned back to look at Ethan with his own eyes. "The two of you and me! Together we go save Rose, and then we can use her to grind Miranda into paste!" he was smiling at you and Ethan.

"My daughter is not a weapon," Ethan said with a scowl. "Fuck you!"

Heisenberg smiled at him again and stared at him for a couple of seconds and then slammed his foot on the ground, kicking open the trap door, and grabbed Ethan's good hand holding him over it. You stood up from your chair unsure of what to do looking at both of the men. "Last chance," he said.

"Ethan?" you asked him, looking at them.

"You don't want to find out what's in that hole."

"Ethan, I don't want to find out what's in that hole," you said to him.

"Oh, fuck you too, Y/N! You just led me here to be killed!" Ethan yelled at you.

"Not true! You weren't going to be killed, I made sure of that! You were only going to be knocked out and held here until the ceremony was over!"

"That's what you and Alcina thought," Heisenberg said, laughing at you. "I had plans of my own!" You looked at Heisenberg and back to Ethan. "Now, we can make this work together! I have a plan to kill Miranda, but I can't do it without the two of you!"

"I don't even know how I got here!" you yelled at Heisenberg. He pointed one of his fingers at you.

"And I can explain that too!"

"I don't give a shit about your insane plan to use my daughter as a weapon and kill Miranda," Ethan said, pushing Heisenberg off of him, "or how you got to this Village! I only want to protect my daughter!"

"And I can make that happen, Ethan! We can resurrect her no problem! But, we need to kill that bitch Miranda. She will stop at nothing to kidnap Rose, even if you do manage to get her back, she'll just keep coming for you!"

"Then I'll leave this country and go somewhere where she can't find us!" Ethan yelled.

Heisenberg laughed at the frustrated man.

"Isn't that what you did last time? After the Baker Incident?" Heisenberg asked him.

"The what?" you asked.

"How did you know about that?" Ethan asked quietly and narrowed his eyes at the Lord.

"I have my sources," he said. "She'll just find you again and make sure that you're dead next time. You and especially that kid of yours wills never be safe from her unless she's dead. Now, do you want to keep arguing back and forth, or do you want to do something about this?"

Ethan looked unsure of what to do. "I mean your original plan to kill all the Lords kind of sucked, so…." you said.

"Shut up, Y/N," Ethan said, rolling his eyes at you as he stared at the floor contemplating his decisions.

"She's right, you know. But, with each of us on your side, we could defeat her! Put an end to her once and for all! I've been scheming a plan to do this for years now, and it's finally unfolding! I can't stop her without your help though, Ethan. If you help me, I promise we'll get your daughter back and you'll have Rose. Then, you can disappear into the sunset and go wherever your heart desires."

Ethan sighed and rubbed his face. You could see his left hand had started to heal, but it still looked messed up.

"Fine. If I agree to help you kill Miranda, will you get my daughter back?" he asked Heisenberg.

"That was the deal, wasn't it?"

"Alright, fine. Whatever, I'll join your stupid plan as long as I get Rose back."

"Yeah, yeah! Miranda's death in exchange for daughter in the flasks returned to normal, human, baby girl. No problem," Heisenberg said. "Now then. One of your BSAA friends is here lurking around my factory."

"What?!" Ethan asked.

"Yeah, his team just arrived here not that long ago. I've been keeping an eye on them, it looks like they're just setting up base around the Village." said Heisenberg.

"Wait, you mean Chris is here?!" Ethan yelled.

"Yup," Heisenberg said. Ethan suddenly became angry and growled.

"Chris… that bastard!" he said.

"Who is he?" you asked Ethan. Heisenberg chuckled at you.

"He was a friend of mine…. Then, he betrayed me. He killed my wife." Ethan said. You remember Ethan telling you this when you first met him. This would only complicate things more, how were you going to explain all of this to Alcina and kill Miranda with the killer of Ethan's wife in the Village?

"Go after him, he's just below the basement floor!" Heisenberg said.

"You're just gonna let him go and fight some guy that killed his wife?" you yelled at the Lord.

"What the fuck else do you expect him to do?" Heisenberg asked you.

"I'm gonna kill him," Ethan said.

"Fine, fine. But once you do, meet me back up here. We'll need to further discuss the plan. I'll keep an eye on the screens in case anything happens. Just take the elevator down to the basement floor and follow the stairs towards a tunnel. He's there," Heisenberg said, gesturing to the security cameras. So that was how he had been watching you, his security cameras.

Ethan sighed and took his gun back from Heisenberg.

"Yeah, I'll be right back." He had a fierce look on his face of determination and left the room leaving you and the Lord alone.

"Well," Heisenberg said, throwing his hands up. "Feels like old times, doesn't it?"

"I don't know what you're talking about."

Heisenberg laughed at you and gestured for you to sit down. He closed the trap door and took Ethan's seat next to yours.

"So, you really don't remember anything, do you?" You shook your head. "Not where you came from, how you got here, who you are?"

"No."

"Well, I know you don't remember your old job if you don't even know who Chris is," he said.

"Am I supposed to know him?" Heisenberg stood up and walked over to the bookshelf. He grabbed a large bag and threw it over to your feet. You looked at it unsure.

"Well, open it up! It's yours!" he said to you. You looked up at Heisenberg with your mouth open and back down to the grey bag. There was a decorative button of a ghost and another one with a rainbow on it. You picked it up, it was way heavier than you had expected it to be and you set it in your lap. On the other side, it had BSAA imprinted on it. You could feel your hands shaking with anticipation as you unzipped the bag.

Inside was a pair of navy blue tactical pants, a bullet proof vest with a ghost that had been spray painted on, a helmet, a pistol, a rifle, elbow and knee pads made from metal, some keys, a long sleeved t-shirt and a sword. There were some bullet rounds in the pockets, a few tampons which you hadn't needed to use in years, and an old picture of you and a man smiling. He had an arm wrapped around you. "What is this stuff?"

"That's your old gear from when you were in the BSAA," Heisenber said as he watched you pull out the bullet proof vest.

"What the hell is the BSAA?" you asked.

"A group of losers who investigate terrorist attacks or something like that," Heisenberg said, leaning back in his chair.

"... could you be a little more specific?" you asked him. He sighed at you and pulled out a cigar, lighting and smoking it.

"Do I really need to go into specifics?"

"I mean that would be helpful, seeing as I don't remember shit from my old life, so yeah. If you could explain it in a little more detail, that would be great."

"Alright kid, put your thinking cap on. It's called the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance, they're a group of elite warriors, they get sent in when weird shit happens."

"Weird shit like?"

"Weird shit like one of Miranda's dumbass experiments gone wrong. When something bad happens or people get infected and start turning into zombies and shit, they send in you guys to fight off the threats."

"And who's they?" you asked.

"I don't know, the United Nations or something like that." Heisenberg said.

You looked at your bulletproof vest and thought.

"So… I was a part of an organization that fought terrorists?"

"Basically, yeah. You came here to the Village to spy on Miranda and us. Obviously, it didn't work out very well."

"Yeah, well. Alcina did tell me Im not particularly stealthy."

At that, Heisenberg began laughing. "No, you are not! Not even a little! I could hear you walking a mile behind me! That's how I captured you, you remember that part, right? When you followed me into Miranda's secret lair?"

"Yeah… a little."

"So, my big sister hasn't told you any of this?"

"No. I… I mean, I figured she knew some things about me, but I didn't know how deep everything was."

"There's a lot she hasn't told you."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Look kid, I'm only telling you this because you deserve to know the truth, but you had your memories wiped by Miranda."

"I kind of suspected that, but why? I mean, why would she wipe my memories?"

"She was going to use you for one of her experiments. Except instead of using you as a vessel or the cadou on you, she decided to take a different approach since her experiments with other vessels never worked. She was going to try and replace your memories with her daughters." You stared off into space taking all of this in.

So Miranda had erased all of your memories away and tried to replace them with her daughter's? That was why you couldn't remember who you were or how you got to the Village, or why you were even there. Why hadn't Alcina told you any of this? Did she not care about you? "But, I don't have any of her daughter's memories, so…."

"Yeah, big surprise! Her experiment didn't work. She actually just erased all of your memories, she couldn't restore her daughter's."

In the latest memory you had remembered, Miranda had strapped you down on an examination table and held a flask in her hands. "Do not worry, My Dear Eva. Soon we will be together once again."

The flask must've contained some of Eva's remaining parts. She was going to use you as a vessel to bring her daughter back. "So since the experiment failed, she… what? Just handed me off to Alcina?"

"Yeah, pretty much."

"And I worked as a maid in the castle?"

"Yup."

"And… that's why Alcina never killed me?"

"Yeah, just in case any of Eva's memories started to come back to you. Miranda told Super-Sized Bitch not to kill you, that's why she never killed you. You didn't think she kept you alive because she cared about you or something, did you?"

"..."

"Oh, shit."

In the beginning you weren't sure what to think. You had started off working as a maid and was too afraid to ask any questions about how you got to the Village or who you were. You didn't want any trouble from the Dimitrescu's and never bothered them with it. In fact, now that you really thought about it, you had been terrified of them. They had slaughtered maids at night and during the day, and you heard their screams echoing from the basement. And the stories of the moroaica had kept your mouth shut too for fear of being turned into one of them.

But now that you had been dating Alcina, you thought things were different. That she had always kept you alive because she truly cared for you. Even her daughters told you that she liked you, for years apparently. But why didn't she ever make a move on you before? Why did she only just recently start taking an interest in you? Did she only like you for sex? View you as a plaything?

"Uh… sorry kid," Heisenberg said, patting you on the back. "She doesn't care about anyone other than her daughters and Miranda's approval. I mean sure, she's had a number of girls in the past, but they were only ever sex objects to her. You're not special to my sister at all."

You looked down at the floor and stared at your feet. Your suspicions had been true, Alcina really hadn't cared about you at all. She was only stringing you along for her own amusement. "I… I thought she really cared about me," you said.

"Nah, she's just a bitch," Heisenberg said, offering you his cigar. You took it and puffed out some smoke coughing a bit. "Sorry you had to find out this way. My sister loves to put on a show for her and the girls, it gets boring in the castle with no tv's or internet. My factory is the only place in the Village that can run all of that crap, the Village has a little reception, but it's nothing like…." He stopped talking once he noticed you glaring at him. "Right, you probably don't wanna hear about that stuff."

"Yeah, not really." you huffed out.

"Well, you're welcome to stay here and wait for Ethan to get back if you want. Unless you want to confront Super-Sized Bitch and take revenge on her or whatever."

"I'm not going to take revenge on her. I just… I don't know what to do," you said, standing up and walking around the room. "I still don't remember my old life even though you told me all of this and I… well, what do I do now? Am I supposed to help you kill Miranda or just… leave? But where would I even go?"

"Beats me," Heisenberg said, shrugging. He stood up and walked over to his desk, opening a drawer and pulling out a bottle of whiskey. "Here Tiny, drink some of this," he tossed it to you and you caught the bottle. "It'll help you make up your mind."

You uncorked the bottle with your teeth and took a large gulp from the bottle. "Yeah, there ya go! Drown your feelings, I do it almost every night!" Heisenberg laughed, watching you gulp down some more of the whiskey. "Okay, that's… that's a lot."

"I mean," you coughed, "I don't know who I am! I worked as a goddamn maid for years! Shit, I don't even know how long I worked as a maid!"

"It's been like three years, I think," Heisenberg said.

"Three god damn years! Three years I devoted my life to that woman and what do I get in return? I find out that she's… she's been lying to me this whole time!" You drank some more from the bottle feeling angrier than ever. "I mean, Jesus… what the fuck man? I thought like… you know, like we kinda had something special!"

"I don't know why you would."

"I honestly don't know why either! No one cares about me! The BS...BSA,"

"BSAA," Hesienberg corrected you.

"Yeah, the BSSA didn't care enough to look for me! I've just been stuck in this fuckin Village for like what, three years?"

"Yeah, I just told you how long, Tiny."

"And what, no one from my past ever bothered to check up on me? What the fuck man, does no one truly give a shit about me? And Alcina, she was only leading me on, and then what? Kill me?"

"Probably, that's usually what happens."

"Well… fuck her! Fuck her man!," you continued to drink from the bottle and finished it off walking over to Heisenberg's desk and looking for more. You were seething, how could Alcina do this to you?!

"Hey, don't drink my whole stash!" Heisenberg said storming over to you. "I need that for my nights!"

"I need it more, you asshole!" you yelled, taking another bottle from his desk and opening it up. "Who's been the maid here? Who had their memories wiped? Who's been stung, I mean, strung along for… however long it's been by Alcina?"

"Ew! Definitely not me! That bitch is my sister!" Hesienberg said, taking the bottle from you drinking from it. You took the cigar from his hands and puffed on it. "Hey! Stop taking all my self-destructive remedies!"

"Sharing is caring!" you yelled at him, snatching the bottle back and drinking a substantial amount of whiskey.

"You want me to listen to you to share your problems with me or something? I'm not a therapist, Tiny!"

"I am NOT TINY!" you screamed at him, pushing him slightly.

"Alright, you keep that up and I'm gonna take the bottle from you!"

"Kiss my ass, Heisenberg!" you said storming over to your old BSAA bag and pulling the coat off.

"I mean if it doesn't work out between my sister and you, sure," he said, chuckling to himself and strutting over to you.

"I don't want any of this shit that she bought me!" you yelled, taking the shirt and pants that Alcina had gotten you off.

"Woah, uh… what the fuck are you doing, Tiny?" Heisenberg asked you, taking a couple of steps back.

"I'm doing what I should've done a long time ago! I'm taking back my old life!" You started putting your old gear back on, the tactical pants, the long sleeve t-shirt and then the armor. When you were done dressing, you buckled the chin straps on your helmet and then turned around to face him.

"Whatever makes you happy, dear."

"Look at me! This is who I am! Not some fucking maiden! I'm a goddamn…" you looked at the ceiling for a few seconds and thought. What were you exactly before you came to the Village? A soldier or something? "Okay, well, I don't exactly what I was before, but I was definitely not a fucking, god damn MAIDEN!" you yelled, kicking the chair away and finishing off the bottle.

"Alright, I think you've had enough." Heisenberg said, trying to take the bottle away from you but you put it in your pants pocket.

"Look, I'm gonna be right back, okay?" you said taking the weapons from your bag. You looked at the sword in confusion. "What am I, a fucking pirate?"

"A dumbass, maybe," Heisenberg muttered under his breath.

"Fuck it, I'm a pirate! Being a pirate is better than a god damn maid! Hey, Heisenberg! I'm a pirate now!"

"Good for you, follow your dreams! Go and be the best god damn pirate you can be, and other inspirational quotes and shit."

"I will!" you yelled walking strapping the belt around your waist and walking away from him. Heisenberg laughed watching you stumble out of the room and after a few seconds you came back inside. "Um, I'm sorry, where's the exit?"

"Take the elevator to the first floor."

"And then?" Heisenberg rolled his eyes and helped you walk as you were having a hard time moving your legs in a straight line.

"Steady now, the elevator can make you feel like you're falling down when you're drunk. It goes really fast." He put one of your arms around his neck and pushed a button. The elevator shifted down and you would have fallen if Heisenberg hadn't helped you. The sword dangled at your side and the gun that was in your pants weighed down. You hoped the safety was on.

You couldn't believe that any of this was happening to you. You had really thought that Alcina cared for you and maybe even loved you. But then again, you had only just started dating her and things had been moving pretty fast.

Your relationship with her had felt so real before, but when you looked back at it, you realized that it was just like every one of her relationships before yours. She would find some maid cleaning in the hallways and make excuses to hang around them, complementing their work and touching them fondly. The same exact thing she had done to you. And all of the gifts that the others had been given, makeup, jewelry, new dresses….

God, you were stupid. She didn't care about you at all. She was only using you for her own sick pleasure. And you had given everything to her, your service, your body, your time….

Three years you had wasted away. Enough was enough. You were done with this bullshit 'relationship,' you would go back to the castle and collect the rest of your belongings from the Maiden's Barracks and then leave.

You had no idea where you were going to go, but anywhere far away from the Village would be better. You felt your heart break and sighed. A lump in your throat had formed and you pushed your feelings down wishing you could be anyone else in the world.

You hadn't even realized that Heisenberg had walked you to the doors of his factory. "Well, good lucky with whatever it is you're doing, Y/N," he said, opening the doors for you. You blinked and took a few steps outside steadying yourself.

"Thanks for everything, Heisenberg. I'll be back once I get the rest of my stuff from my old room. Then I'll… go somewhere else I guess."

"Sounds like a plan to me, Tiny!" Heisenberg said, slapping your back and closing the doors behind you. You started to feel the cold from the winter again and looked around the factory. You could see the Village in the distance and sighed, dropping down to your knees. "Damn it," you whispered. You could feel yourself shaking on the ground but it wasn't from the cold.

Your chest hurt and your ears were ringing as you felt tears stream down your face and you held your head in your hands. You really had given Alcina everything you had, had even devoted your life her and you were so blinded by your feelings that you didn't realize she was lying to you.

And she had sent you to get Ethan so that he could be jumped by the lycans. She was literally sending you to your own death and you hadn't even realized it. Heisenberg could've let his lycans kill you, tear your limbs off, torture you, but instead he told you the truth, and he didn't even know you.

What had Alcina done for you except clean her entire castle, fetch wine for her and use your body for her own pleasure! She had never even let you touch her before, how had you not realized any of this?! She had sent you to the factory to be killed and… still.

Still, you had feelings for her. You still cared about Alcina and her daughters and yet you were seething with rage, angry with her. You didn't even want to go to the castle, you really just wanted to start walking and not stop until your feet and legs were too exhausted to carry you. But you had to face the Countess, stick up for yourself and let her know that while you may not remember who you are, you aren't some toy for her to use. You're a person, a human being with real feelings and not some god damn sex doll.

You felt so angry, you wanted to do something. To hurt something. You shakily stood back up and wiped the tears from yourself feeling yourself stagger around and worked your way back to the Castle. The walk felt shorter, the houses you passed seemed smaller and the desecrated Village seemed somehow friendly to you….

Or, maybe you were just drunk.

As you passed the church, you could hear the sound of jewels clinking together made you stop and you looked over. An old woman was walking down the steps and was carrying a staff that had a skull tied to the top. She was wearing a cloak and some strands of her hair were decorated with beads. "Ah, the young maid all alone in the Village and by herself," she laughed.

"Who the fuck are you?" you asked in disbelief. How on earth had this old woman survived the lycan raid? And how did she know you?

The old woman laughed at you and came closer. You gripped the handle of your sword and she smacked it with her staff at a surprising speed for an old woman. "Ow! What the hell was that for?"

"Do not threaten me, child! Though I am old with my age, I am not as weak as I appear to be!"

"Okay, sorry! Just a little weirded out by some random lady that somehow survived the lycans!"

She laughed again and peered up into your eyes. You looked back at her scrunching up your eyes in confusion and tried to take a couple steps back but she stopped you.

"Your eyes… they carry a heavy burden in them! I can see the pain and hurt you feel!"

"Tch, you don't know me! You only just met me, how can you tell how I feel?!" you said.

"You wear your emotions on your sleeve, child! I can see your heart has been broken. But by who? Someone you loved?"

"I-I don't love her, I just… well, I don't even know how I feel anymore," you said looking down. The woman laughed again and lifted your chin up to meet her eyes as she started up at you. 'Not Tiny anymore,' you thought, comparing yourself to the woman. She was significantly shorter than you.

"Confront her, you must. Find out the truth for yourself."

"What are you, like some sort of weird, traveling, psychic/therapist or something? And how'd you know it's a her and not a he?!"

The woman gripped your biceps, feeling your muscles and smiled up at you. "It is not hard to tell you aren't attracted to men."

"Yeah, we'll… don't get any ideas, lady." you shrugged her hands off your muscles and took a few steps away from her as she laughed at you. She continued to walk down the path and passed you.

"Go child, get your closure!" She laughed again and soon disappeared as she turned a corner and was out of sight within seconds. You shook your head and turned back around, continuing to walk to Castle Dimitrescu.

"What was in that bottle?" you asked yourself wondering if you had truly seen the old woman or if you had just hallucinated. It had been a really weird day so far, you woke up in Alcina's arms and now you didn't even want to see her. You definitely needed a change of scenery, you needed to leave the Village as soon as possible. It had never truly felt like your home, it felt more like a prison. And castle Dimitrescu was your prison cell… and Alcina was the warden.

Alcina… Lady Dimitrescu… The Countess of Castle Dimitrescu…. So beautiful and elegant, yet a terrifying monster underneath her fake personality. She was a killer through and through. She had never cared about you, not ever. You had been played by her for long enough and now it was going to stop. You didn't even want to think of her face, every time you thought about it, it hurt in your chest and made you want to cry.

To have someone take care of you, hold you in their arms and make love to you the way Alcina had… it wasn't real. You thought it had been, you were willing to give her a chance and now you felt stupid for thinking that you were different from the others.

As you opened the gates to the castle, you sighed, looking down and pulling out the bottle of whiskey that you took from Heisenberg and drank from it. You really didn't want to step foot inside of the Castle and was thinking of turning around and just leaving the Village when you heard glass breaking from the castle. You could see it falling out of the second floor and landed on the ground.

You started to pick up a faster pace then ran when you heard screaming from inside of the castle and pulled out your gun, making sure it was loaded and didn't have the safety on. You wished you had taken the rifle with you. The sword on your side hit your legs as you continued running up the path of the castle and you pushed it more to your side ready to use it should you need. What happened while you were gone?

You kicked open the front doors and held the gun up ready to shoot. There were dead lycan bodies littering the floor and blood was pouring from their bodies. 'Oh no,' you thought.

You could hear fighting from the Main Hall and sprinted towards it. "Come on, you ugly bastards! I'll kill you all!" you heard Cassandra shout. As you turned the corner, you jumped down and rolled on the side, shooting all of the lycans down. You found that using the gun wasn't as hard as you thought it would be. You just pointed up at the lycans and shot them two of them dead.

"Y/N!" Cassandra yelled, seeing you reload your gun as the three remaining lycans started running towards you. 'Not enough time to reload,' you thought. You stood up and pulled out your sword waiting for them to get closer and took a battle stance. It felt… familiar.

There was a confidence you had never felt before in your entire life when you held your cutlass blade by your side. You bent your knees and studied your prey, looking for any weaknesses they might have and kept calm. You weren't even scared as you normally were in your dreams when the lycans were chasing you. They were just like… dogs. Large, feral dogs with one thought on their mind: kill.

And you felt like a powerful wolf ready sink your fangs into them and murder every one of them. You were not a weakling, you were a member of the BSA… or BSSA, or whatever it was. "Cassandra, get out of here!" you yelled at her as the lycans came closer and closer to you. She said something to you but you didn't hear her as you started running.

You kicked up in the air and twisted the handle in your hands, then brought it down slicing one of them. The blade hadn't cut through the lycan, but it did stun him for a short while. You twisted back around and stroked the next lycan, cutting the head off of its body and didn't wait for it to fall down to the floor knowing there were still two more that were ready to attack you.

One of the lycans had tried to bite down on your arm as you turned the sword around and you kicked it back, then flipped back around and cut off one of the lycans arms. You couldn't tell which was which, but it didn't matter. You only had to kill them, you didn't need to know who was who right now. Your life and Cassandra's life was on the line. You had no idea what was going on or where Alcina and the Bela and Daniela were, but you knew that you had to fight. These creatures were vicious and wouldn't stop trying to hurt you until you were dead. And you weren't going to let that happen. Not after what Alcina had done to you.

That thought sparked some more anger into your heart and you rushed the last lycan, jumping up and slicking your sword down onto his head and felt him drop to the floor.

A sharp pain came to your shoulder but you ignored it as you continued to fight. There was yelling and more sounds of metal clanging against metal but you ignored it. You panted as another lycan ran to you and you swung your sword down to its legs but he was far bigger than the others had been. He tackled you down to the ground and had it not been for your bullet proof vest, his teeth would've sunk right into your chest. Your sword was stuck underneath your leg and with his body weight you couldn't lift it up or grab the gun out of your pocket. Panic started to set in quickly as the lycan grabbed your face and turned it to the side about to rip the flesh off from your neck and you closed your eyes bracing yourself for the pain.

But it never came. You felt him falling on you completely and opened your eyes back up. Blood was pouring out of its body and you looked up seeing Alcina standing above you with her claws extracted. She lifted the lycans smelly body off yours and threw it to the side. Your vest was covered in it's blood and you slowly stood back up refusing to look at Alcina.

"That was the last of them, Mother," you heard Bela saying from behind her. Alcina hadn't said anything as she stared at you anxiously.

"Y/N? What… what are you wearing?"

"My old gear from when I was a soldier," you said, glaring at the floor and refusing to meet her golden eyes. You didn't need to look at them to know that her mouth was open and fear was spread across her face. Fear that her secret was over, that you knew everything.

"How did you remember that?" she asked you.

"I didn't. Heisenberg told me. He kept all my old stuff for me and told me everything." you said.

"Mother, Daniela's upstairs and fine, but Cassandra's a little hurt." Bela said. You and Alcina turned around to look at the daughters. One of Cassandra's arms was strung around Bela's neck and the older sister was holding her little sister tightly. "I'm fine, Mother. Really, just a little scratch." came Cassandra's weak voice but you could see the pain in her golden eyes. The side of her dress was torn and there were a few, deep gash marks in her side. Blood was pouring down onto the floor and even in your anger with Alcina, you felt worry and concern for Cassandra.

"Move her to my room. I will inspect her injuries immediately," Alcina said. Bela helped Cassandra up the stairs and lifted her up in her arms carrying her bridal style when Cassandra couldn't make it more than three steps. Alcina looked back at you and then to her daughters.

"They're your daughters, go. We can talk later," you said.

Alcina put a hand on your shoulder before she left. "Will you come with me? I do not wish to be alone." You looked away from her feeling rage grow inside of you. Her daughter was severely hurt and she still wanted to play this sick, little game with you?

"No, you should be alone with them. As Mother and daughters. You need your time with them. I'll wait in the Barrack's for you, I promise." Alcina nodded her head at you and turned back around, briskly walking up the stairs and to her chambers.

You rolled your eyes and her and scoffed, sheathing the cutlass blade. 'Yeah right,' you thought. 'Like you Do NoT wIsH tO bE aLoNe! You need time? I gave you three years of it. And you played me like a damn fool!' you thought, walking over to the door that lead to the barrack's. You went over to your bed and grabbed your diary, your bag and the letter that Madalina had written you. You forgot all about it when you read it, folding it up and putting it inside of your bag.

As the adrenaline from the fight died down, you could feel a stinging pain in your shoulder and sighed in relief. It hurt a lot, but it kept Alcina off of your mind and grounded you. You could feel blood trickling down your arm from inside your shirt and used it to continue grounding yourself as you were on the verge of tears.

You looked at Nadia's old bed for a few seconds and peered around the room. The ghost of other maids that had worked here played in your mind, you could see them talking with each other, laughing, doing each other's hair and playing board games and cards with each other. It hadn't all been horrible. You had some of your best moments with Madalina, Nadia and the rest. Even Oana.

You sighed sadly and walked into the washroom and the Dinning Room, taking a final look at them and turning around leaving the Barrack's. You were done with Castle Dimitrescu. You had witnessed the horrors that happened inside of the castle, had cleaned up some much blood and no longer wished to stay here for another second. It hurt to leave though, it wasn't easy to do. You wanted to yell at Alcina, make her feel horrible for what she had done and tell her how your heart had broken once you learned she was using you. Another part of you wanted to cry in her arms, have her hold you and tell you that Heisenberg was wrong and that she really did care about you, but you knew she didn't.

She never had, she only cared about herself and her daughters. You didn't want to leave this way without saying goodbye to Daniela, Bela and Cassandra, but what choice did you have? You weren't apart of their family and hadn't mattered to them ever. Why bother saying goodbye to someone that never cared about you? And that was just it. You had never had anyone truly care about ever, except for Nadia and maybe Madalina. Other than that you were on your own.

As you opened the door of the Barracks, you listened for any sounds out in the Hall and checked to make sure it was empty. You gripped the strap of the bag and pulled it over your shoulder more, then started walking towards the door feeling tears come to your eyes and your heart ache.
