Episode 9: Master and Servant

"I wonder what the next episode will be like?" Pyrrha wondered.

"Hopefully, something not too violent." Jaune says, still feeling a bit queasy from the previous viewings.

"Better not jinx it, kid." Qrow comments being familiar in statements like that.

The scene now opens, showing Diarmuid was lying on a pool of blood, the life leaving his eyes. The camera zoomed to his eyes as it transitioned to the eyes of a beautiful young woman.

The audience gasped in shock at the unexpected start of the viewing.

"Is that Lancer!?" Weiss shrieked in shock. "Why… why is he…"

"Oh Oum! Is he dead?!" Nora gasped in horror but then blinked a couple of times then tilted her head in confusion. "Wait. Isn't Lancer already dead?"

"Just to make sure none of you are confused, we are watching a flashback of Lancer's life." D explained, making a few sighs in relief.

"So we're watching Lancer's origins or something? That's cool." Yang comments.

"Fionn Mac Cumhaill, the hero of Aillen, and leader of the knights of Fionn, and my daughter Gráinne," A man with fine robes, which showed his status as a king, spoke. "Have announced their marriage! I want everyone present to celebrate all night!" He said, raising a jug of beer in the air as all the people in a hall cheered.

"So cool…! It's like something from a fairy tale!" Ruby's eyes sparkled, seeing the things she reads from her old fairy tale stories.

"It is, isn't it?" Blake says while inwardly admitting that it does give her a sense of wonder seeing such a site even among the younger audience couldn't help but feel a bit giddy at sight.

"Fascinating… I take it there's a story for this wedding?" Ozpin asks their host while recalling his time when knights and magic were not a fairy tale.

Meanwhile, a man sitting next to the young woman, Gráinne, gave her a side-eye glance as she looked at the crowd. "That man with the mole under his eyes, what is his name?" She asked.

"Hey, it's the girl from the ending credits!" Velvet points out as she recalls the girl sitting on a tree accompanied by Lancer.

"Oh yeah… it is!" Coco said as she recognized the girl.

"She's pretty." Penny admitted.

"That is Gráinne, the princess of Ireland and the daughter of King Cormac mac Airt." D explains. "And that next to as the king announced is Fionn Mac Cumhaill, the leader of the knight Fionn and a hero who has done countless achievements."

"That's so cool!" Jaune says in awe. "And Gráinne is going to marry him?"

"Why doesn't she look happy?" Weiss cuts in as she questions why the princess didn't seem, please.

"She doesn't seem please to marry a hero." Winter also questions why Gráinne did not seem pleased with the engagement.

"It's an arranged marriage." D simply answers.

"Ah…" Both the Schnee's lightly winced at the reason. This was common in the Kingdom of Atlas since most of the nobles in the floating kingdom did that to gain recognition, wealth, or any kind of result to make the said family names great. This happened to the Schnee family, and they bitterly hated the effects of it.

"Well, that won't be a problem since she has a good look with a certain guy with a curse to make girls fall for him." Yang points out recalling Lancer's curse.

"Now that's not going to end well…" Ren cringed, recalling how Diarmuid died from D's comments.

Diarmuid was amongst the people celebrating, raising his jug for the occasion. "He is one of the knights of Fionn, Diarmuid Ua Duibhne." The voice of a woman answered.

"Diarmuid…" Gráinne muttered.

Diarmuid was shown running across a field in the middle of the rain along with other knights. Then a scene where Gráinne forcefully steals a kiss from him, much to his shock.

"Oh shit." Qrow blinked as most of the audience widened their eyes, and a few blushed a bit at the sudden development.

"I knew that Lancer's curse can make any girl develop feeling for him but not to that extent." Sienna admits with a light blush on her face, not expecting the curse to be that strong.

"Woman. You have no idea." D comments.

Back on the field, Diarmuid was fighting against masked knights before cutting off to a scene on a castle. The man with Gráinne before, Fionn itself, was glaring down at someone as his knights stood on a formation at his sides.

"Wait. What? Is Lancer actually… fighting against his fellow knights?" Ghira says, shocked at what the Knight of Fianna is doing.

"Why is he doing that? Did they find out about what Gráinne did?" Nora questioned but also understood because this would be a massive scandal, one of the hero's knights having an affair with his wife-to-be.

Then it shows Diarmuid's face after the kiss. He was surprised at what happened. And back with Fionn, he growls a single word. "Traitor…" He narrows his eyes and swipes his arm at the side. "You'll pay for this, Diarmuid."

"Whoa, whoa! Isn't that kinda extreme?" Tai questioned. "I get that your girl is taken away but isn't that crossing a line?"

"Love is a delicate and dangerous thing." D simply reminded them.

"But it's artificial!" Glynda shouted. "What happened was beyond Lancer's control!"

"There's that it wasn't for this scene." The deity countered.

"What?"

"Please come with me," Gráinne's voice echoes as scenes from the battle on the rain are shown. "Let's run away." She begged as her face was revealed.

Diarmuid gets ready for the battle as he is surrounded by his enemies in the rain, his spears ready. Then it shows him hugging Gráinne lovingly. He charges to his enemies.

There were audible gasps from everyone, not expecting that at all.

"Wait… is… is he…?" James stuttered, not expecting that at all.

"Diarmuid falling for Gráinne? Yup." D popped the 'p', making everyone's jaws drop at the massive scandal.

"What? I mean… WHAT?!" Roman shouts in disbelief while Neo pulls out a sign saying, 'How scandalous!'

"Where did you get that?" Roman asks with a raised brow.

"I gave it to her." D answers. "And yes, Diarmuid has fallen for the princess, and that spiraled out of control."

"I'm more shocked that such an honorable knight as himself would go against his leader." Winters comments.

"Well, there's the love part from Lancer and the part where Gráinne uses a Geis, a binding curse that makes people do specific orders, to convince him to elope.

"WHAT?!" Everyone shouted in utter disbelief at how far the princess was willing to go.

"Meh… Lancer didn't mind, and as I said, love makes you do crazy and extreme things."

Then the scene changes where Gráinne seems to be locked away before a door opens and Diarmuid's voice is heard. "Rejoice, Gráinne; Fionn has recognized our love!" He said, making the girl smile with hope.

"What? Fionn did?" Yang says in surprise.

"Perhaps he saw that there was no reason send his knight to their deaths." Ozpin assumes.

After the battle, Diarmuid shakes hands with Fionn. The king was looking down at him. Diarmuid smiles, and the king does too, but his voice is heard, revealing his true intentions. "Did you really think I would forget about Gráinne?" He asked.

Diarmuid's dying body is shown again. What happened is obvious…

Everyone winced at the unfortunate death of the Knight of Fianna.

"Shit… to be honest, I was expecting that." Qrow comments as he takes a sip from his flask.

"Did it really have to come that…?" Ruby said, feeling sorry for Lancer.

"They didn't show how Diarmuid died, and it's going to take longer to explain, so just look it up in the library." D said.

Kayneth wakes up with a start. His head and torso were bandaged. "A dream?" He asks between gasps.

"The heck? Was that all just a dream?" Jaune asked, surprised that what they all saw was a dream.

"No, it was all real." D explains. "Since because of the connections between Master and Servants they unintentionally share their memories in the form of a dream simply called Dream Memory."

"Talk about no privacy at all." Yang comments as she crosses her arms. She thinks it's somewhat cool to see the memories of a hero but without their permission is pushing it.

(Opening Theme ends)

"That dream I just had… Was Diarmuid's legend… Were those the memories of my Servant?" Kayneth asks himself. He tries to get up but winces in pain and falls back. "Where am I?"

"Looks like they're in an abandoned warehouse." Blake answers, looking at the poor living conditions, being familiar with it when she was with the White Fang.

"Are you awake?" Sola-Ui asks as she enters the room with a bowl of water in her hands.

"She nursed him back to health?" Pyrrha asks.

"Which part of him is back to health?" Nora comments, making the Invincible Girl wince, recalling what has happened to the Master in his last battle against the Magus Killer.

"Sorry…"

"Sola…" He struggles to get up but realizes he is strapped to the bed. "What is the meaning of this? Why am I here?"

"He doesn't remember?" Penny tilted her head.

"Perhaps he is suppressing the memory?" Ren guessed and didn't blame the Master after seeing the gruesome scene before he was defeated.

Sola grips a rag drenched in water. "Don't you remember?" She asks. "Anything that happened?"

"I… I was shot…" Kayneth struggles to remember. Flashes of his encounter with Kiritsugu are shown. "I defend myself with Hydragyrum Volumen, but…" He clenches his teeth and narrows his eyes. "What happened to my body?"

"Your body was torn from the inside out. That's what happened!" Coco said, shuddering at the memory.

"I'm practically amazed he can even talk properly." Glynda comments.

Sola grabs his arms and starts cleaning them with the rag. "The evidence shows that every Magic Nerve in your body was destroyed. The fact that you're alive is a miracle."

"A miracle indeed." Ozpin comments as he takes a sip from his mug.

"And no doubt it would come with a cost." James added as he instinctively rubbed his artificial arm.

Kayneth's eyes widen in shock. "The only thing I could do for now is fix your inner organs." Sola explains as Kayneth's face morphs to one of despair as he struggles not to cry. "But your body circuits have no repair." She continues, cleaning his hand with the Command Seals. "You'll never be able to use Magecraft again."

"And there it is."

"I can't imagine that kind of life." Ruby comments, feeling a bit sorry for Kayneth now being a cripple.

"He's alive, so that counts for something." Yang says.

"I… I…" Kayneth lets a tear drop. He struggles to say anything as the cruel reality sets in.

"I do feel sorry for the man, but that is what he gets for looking down on his opponent, believing himself the superior one." Glynda huffs as she straightens her glasses.

"A hard lesson learned." Qrow comments.

Sola eyes him with sympathy and puts his arm down. "Don't cry, Kayneth." She says. She cradles his face and cleans it with the rag. "It's too soon to give up. We haven't lost yet."

"That's right. Technically, Lancer is still alive, so Kayneth is still a participant." Penny points out.

"But how is he going to continue?" Weiss questioned. "As I recalled, you require to give magical energy to your Servants for them to fight since Kayneth is magicless now. They're at a huge disadvantage."

"Yeah…" Blake narrowed her eyes in suspicion at the woman tending to her fiancé. "Where is Sola going with this"

Kayneth opens his eyes to look at her. "Sola…"

"If The Holy Grail is truly an omnipotent device capable of creating miracles, heal you shouldn't be a problem." Sola explains. "You only have to win. If you win and obtain the Grail, then everything will be back to normal." She walks down to caress the hand with the seals. "So, hear me out, Kayneth." She takes his hand. "Give me your Command Seals. I'll be Lancer's new Master." She says, much to Kayneth's disbelief, and she smiles down at her. "And I'll bring you the grail."

"Seriously? You can do that?" Nora says, surprised that you can give your Command Seals to another person.

"It's possible." D answers. "They're not technically protected so that the Master can give them to anyone of their choosing or someone can steal it from them."

"I see where this is going now…" Roman comments, now understanding what that Sola girl's true intentions.

'Lovesick girl.' Neo's sign says as she makes a mute gagging expression.

"N-No!" He denies.

"Don't you trust me?" Sola asked in a sickeningly sweet voice. "Me, the woman who was chosen to marry the Archibalds?"

"Not if there charmed by Lancer's curse." Sienna quipped.

"No… It's…" Kayneth's remembers the effects of Lancer's curse on Sola. "Sola-Ui, do you think Lancer would abandon me and swear your loyalty?"

"Sounds like someone is now getting paranoid." Kali comments, getting a bit concerned for the man's mentality.

"Can't blame the poor guy. He's getting a lot of stress at this point." Tai comments.

"Of course. He is a Heroic Spirit, summoned by the Grail. So he must have a wish for the Grail, just like we do." She says while cleaning the hand with the seals with an obsessive gleam. "If he has to change Master, for the sake of his objective, he will."

"She's starting to creep me out…" Jaune shuddered, not liking the look on Sola's face.

"Me too…" Pyrrha nodded, getting a bit disturbed as well.

"Sola!" Kayneth calls out. "Lancer is not the wonderful man you think he is!"

"Is he just saying that because he doesn't want to lose Sola or what he saw in the dream?" Velvet questions.

"I think it's a bit of both." Ghira answers.

Sola looks at him with the same sickly smile. "Why do you say that?"

"When I asked him what his dream was for the Grail," Kayneth's face is twisted in a fury at the words of his fiancé. "What he said was 'I don't have a wish for the Grail!' There's no Servant that doesn't wish for the Grail! He is hiding something from us. But it doesn't matter what it is; as long as I have the Command Seals, he has to obey me!"

"The heck is his problem? Why the hell is he dissing at Lancer like that? And is that true about Lancer not wanting to have a wish?" Yang raised a brow, getting annoyed with the disabled Master and his disrespect towards the Servant of the Lance, but she was also confused about Lancer not wanting to have a wish.

"Most Servants do have a wish, and some don't. Some just answered so that they could have the chance to come back to the world on their own terms." D explains. "Plus, the reason he doesn't trust Lancer anymore is that he thinks he is unfaithful and will steal Sola from him."

"What?! That's crazy! Why would he think something like that?" Ruby shouts in exasperation.

"It's the dream he has seen, isn't it?" Ozpin points out.

D nods. "He only saw bits and pieces of the tragedy that caused Lancer's death, not the full story of his legend."

"So he's just making assumptions from little information." James frowned at the Master's claims, granted he would do the same. Granted, he knows that he would cross some line and not fully trust a few people in question until they are proven to be trusted, but given his position as part of Ozpin's inner circle, he cannot take any risks, plus someone needed to play that role.

"Kayneth…" Sola tries to say something, only to be interrupted.

"I won't give you the Seals!" He declared.

"Yeash… even being crippled, he's still a pain." Jaune comments.

"I'm more worried at how Sola will react to this." Pyrrha comments.

Sola sighs. "Kayneth, you don't understand, do you? That we have to do anything within our power to win?" She drops the rag to the floor. Kayneth grunts, and Sola grabs his pinky finger.

"What's she doing?" Penny tilted her head, confused at what Sola was doing.

But a few of the adults and students slowly widen their eyes at the action she is doing.

"Oh, shit… is she…" Coco mutters as her glasses nearly fall off from the shock of the fashionista when she realizes what the woman is about to do.

Without saying a word, she starts bending it backward.

"Oh my…!" Wiess gasped as she covered her mouth with her hand.

Kayneth's eyes widen as he understands what the woman is about to do. He opens his mouth but can only gap in pain and disbelief

Sola continues to bend the finger backward, until with a sickening Crack, she lets it go.

"OH!" Most of the audience winced at the loud crack.

"She really broke his finger…" Ruby stuttered as she trembled in fear.

"Is she really that desperate to have Lancer by her side!?" Sienna shouts, also feeling a bit intimidated by how far the human woman would go.

"Is this the power of Lancer's Curse? It really drives any woman crazy…" Blake mutters as the bows on her cat ears bend down forward, showing how afraid she is that such a simple action can make her scared.

As Kayneth gasps in pain, Sola speaks. "Listen, Kayneth… A spiritual healer like me can extract the Seals once they've been assigned," She says, looking at him with cold eyes. She caresses the seals with tenderness. "The only way I could do that would be with you giving them willing to me. And if you can't accept that, then I would have no other choice than to cut off your hand," Kayneth trembles in fear as he is unable to do anything in his condition, and Sola gives him a cold stare. "What will it be?" She asks, tilting her head.

"I would say yes in this situation." Jaune says while his voice trembled a bit.

'Why? You scared?' Neo's sign says as she held a grin on her face, not really affected by it. In fact, she seemed to enjoy it.

Jaune didn't answer but had an annoyed look on his face, and his friends also were annoyed at the girl's blunt question.

In the Einzbern castle, Iri is healing Maiya after encountering Kotomine Kirei, while Saber observes. Maiya is covered in bandages despite Iri's work on her. Irisviel sighs and covers the woman's torso with a sheet before sitting on a chair.

"Well, I'm glad that's over." Tai sighed in relief.

"Yeah… I know when not to mess with women and not to push the wrong buttons." Qrow comments.

"Speaking from experience?" Yang grinned towards her uncle. Qrow just smirked as he took a sip from his flask.

"I'm just glad that Maiya is now safe." Pyrrha chimed in.

"Irisviel?" Saber questions.

"Don't worry," The woman reassures. "Healing Magecraft puts a lot of stress on the patient's body. I don't think she'll wake up for a while." She informs as the two watch the injured woman. Iri gets up and turns to Saber. "Look after her for a moment, okay?" She requests and starts to make her way out of the room.

"She knows a lot of magic stuff." Nora comments on how skillful Iri is.

"Are you going to talk with Kiritsugu?" Saber questions.

Iri nods. "I'm sure he is worried too."

"Is he really?" Coco skeptically asked.

"I'm sure he is. He does care about Iri and Maiya." Velvet reasonably said.

"Even Saber?" Weiss added in with a raised brow.

"Well…"

"Irisviel, I have a petition to make." Saber says. "I would like you to talk to Kiritsugu for me. I believe we should stop Caster as soon as possible."

"Smart… since Kiritsugu ignores Saber, she can ask Iri to talk in her place." Ren says he recalls how much the Master of Saber completely ignores the Servant as if she doesn't exist.

"Saber…" Iri looks hesitant about her petition.

"Our lack of action would only result in the death of more innocent children." Saber explains.

"Was it really?" Sienna questions getting a few looks from the audience.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Winter scowled towards the White Fang leader, but the Faunas just scoffed at her question.

"Anything can happen on the battlefield. It doesn't matter if you act early or later. There will always be bloodshed. You soldiers of Atlas should know that better than anyone else." This made the Specialist frown even deeper, not pleased with the comment but can't deny the truth at what Faunus said since she knows what it's like to fight out in the field wither against Grimm or unsavory people while losing a few people in the process.

Iri looks unsure but can see the point in Saber's words.

Kiritsugu is on the table arming a gun when someone knocks on the door in the dining room. "Kiritsugu?" Iri's voice calls. She opens the door to see her husband working.

As he finishes the gun, he addresses his wife. "When can Maiya be useful again?" He asks, referring to his assistant's condition.

"You could have said more gently." Pyrrha scowled, not liking the way the Magus Killer said.

"She… She won't be moving for a day or two." Iri informs.

"I see." He says neutrally and gets up from his chair. "You and Saber stay here. I'll track Kayneth down." He says as he walks past her.

"He's still going after Kayneth?" Blake questions.

"He's finishing what he started." James pointed out.

Iri gasps and looks at her husband. "Wait a moment, Kiritsugu." She tries to bring the topic Saber brought up.

But Kiritsugu seemed to know already. "Saber told you we should deal with Caster first?" Iri gasps in surprise, confirming his suspicion. "So it seems."

"And what's wrong with that?!" Ruby almost shouted. "Isn't it obvious to target a psychotic madmen duo who take joy in killing children?!"

Everyone in the theatre agrees with the young reaper's reasoning and wonders why the Magus Killer does not focus his resources on Caster instead of a rippled Master.

"Are you mad at Saber for not stopping Lancer?" Iri asks in worry.

Kiritsugu stops at the door. "Iri…" He says without turning back. "Saving a few or even a dozen kids isn't our goal. Saber probably didn't doubt that Lancer wouldn't kill me. But if Lancer had betrayed her, what would have happened?" He asks, obviously knowing the answer. "Our fight in the Holy Grail War would have been over on that instant."

"THE FUCK?! WHAT KIND OF SHITTY LOGIC IS THAT?!" Tai shouted, seemingly forgotten that he swore in front of his two little girls, which of course, shocked them that they heard their father swear like that in such a loud tone.

Even those who knew Taiyang were surprised by his outburst, but all understood the reason for it, and they were disappointed and disgusted at Kiritsugu's logic.

"His logic is understandable, but his priorities are mixed up." Ozpin calmy says but frowns at the Magus Killer's decision.

"Why would he prioritize eliminating Kayneth first?" James questioned, not seeing the logic at the Master of Saber granted he does understand that the Master of Lancer is a potent threat. Still, if Kiritsugu knows what his Origin Bullet is capable of, he should know that Kayneth is now a cripple and considered a minor threat for the time being, and yet he still wishes to eliminate him.

"That's just how the Magus Killer does his job. When he targets someone, he makes sure that his hands deal with them." D explains, but that doesn't make the audience happy, and he mentally scoffs at how hypocritical James is with priorities but then again, those events have not happened yet.

"So he's alright with letting children die by a pair of serial killers?" Glynda spat in disdain.

"Oh, he does care… he's just good at killing his own emotions." D cryptically says, making everyone confused and intimidated by what their host states and they couldn't help but wonder what happened to the Magus Killer that made him that way.

Iri looks down in discomfort. "Don't tell her where I'm going." Kiritsugu says before opening the door and leaving. Iri just stands there awkwardly in the living room.

"Lancer! Show yourself, please!" Sola-Ui asks outside of their hiding place.

"And back to where the crazy lovestruck girl is." Qrow comments.

"Did she… convince Kayneth to give up the seals?" Velvet nervously muttered, almost afraid to ask.

Lancer walks out of the shadows behind her. He stands a few meters at her side. "Lady Sola, how's Master Kayneth?"

"He's not doing well…" She admits. "I did everything in my power, but…"

"Well… being crippled from the waist down is such an awful thing…" Penny sadly says as she recalls her father being disabled himself. Even with all the technological advances and his father's intelligence, there wasn't anything to help him physically walk again.

Lancer grunts and looks down in shame. Sola frowns. "It's not your fault! It's Kayneth's fault! This only means that the Holy Grail War was too much for him." She says.

"That's true… instead of targeting the real threat, he ended up facing against someone he clearly couldn't handle." Winter comments.

"No… But…" Lancer tries to defend his Master.

"Lancer is way too kind for his own good." Blake comments.

"Yeah… a real shame about his tragic death and who he is currently working under." Weiss frowns, not liking that the Knight of Fianna is pushing himself like that.

Sola walks then stands in front of him. "He isn't worthy of being your master, Diarmuid!" She says. Lancer stares at her with a neutral look, while Sola looks at him with a slight blush and a glimpse of yearning before looking away.

"This would be so romantic if it weren't artificial…" Kali sighs in disappointment, seeing that this love story isn't really a love story.

Most of the women felt the same.

She raises her hand to show the Command Seals she stole. "Kayneth has abandoned the battle and gave me the rights to be your Master!"

"And she got it in the end." Yang huffs, seeing that Sola is Lancer's new Master.

"I can't imagine what Kayneth is going through right now." Jaune comments seeing that not only that the previous Master of Lancer lost against the Magus Killer, turning into a disabled person, losing the ability to use magecraft, and now being stripped from his role of being Master by force the young man can't possibly imagine how broken the man must be now.

Lancer looks surprised, but he closes his eyes and walks away. "As a knight, my loyalty belongs to Master Kayneth. Lady Sola… I can't accept this."

"Loyal to end." Ozpin slimed at that, respecting the knight's loyalty to whom he serves.

"A real shame of who he is serving under." James added.

"Hold on!" Sola discusses. "As a Servant, don't you need Prana to manifest yourself?" She asks. "With the Command Seals, I can provide you with it!"

"She does have a point." Velvet says, knowing about how Servants needed it to maintain their existence.

"More like she's in desperate need for him to acknowledge her." Coco comments, seeing that how desperate the woman is now.

"Before being a Servant, I'm a knight," Lancer responds. "So I can only have one master."

"He is such a loyal person…" Weiss says, admiring the knight's loyalty despite the situation.

"Am I not worthy of being your Master?!" Sola demands in despair.

"I told you, that's not the point."

"Look at me when you're talking!" She demands.

"Well, this got complicated." Tai comments.

'Get a room.' Neo's sign said.

Lancer turns to face her. Her face is a complete mix of emotions varying from despair to yearning for the knight as she clutches her hand over her chest. "Lancer, fight by my side… Protect me." She begs. "Help me so we can reclaim the Grail together."

Lancer shook his head. "I can't." He turns around and gives his back to her. "If Lord Kayneth has truly renounced the battle, then I have no interest for the Grail."

"He would go that far?" Winter says in surprise, not expecting that Diarmuid would go so far to follow his original Master to the point he would willingly step down from the war.

"His loyalty he far and beyond." Sienna mutters she knows a few Faunus loyal to the White Fang but never has she seen someone as dedicated as the Knight of Fianna and being a human at that.

Sola looks around in despair as she tries to find some argument for Lancer to stay with her. "We need the Grail to save him!" She calls, making Lancer stop. "To heal him, we need a true miracle." She looks more composed now as she gives her statement. "Only with the power of the Grail that will be possible. If you truly feel responsible for what happened to him, if you want to restore the honor of Lord El-Melloi, then you have to win the Grail for your Master!" She declares firmly.

"Now, that is a good reason." Ghira comments, seeing it as a good reason for the Servant to fight under Sola for the time being.

Lancer calmly turns around. "Lady Sola, you talk as the wife of my Master and will only look for the Grail for the sake of my Lord?" He asks. "Is that why you're saying?"

"Y-yes!" Sola nods. "Of course!"

"She stuttered." Blake deadpanned.

"Would you swear it to me?" Lancer asks. "That's your wish?"

"I swear." Sola promises. "As the wife of Lord El-Melloi, I will seek the power of the Grail just for his sake."

"Is she really?" Roman raised a brow, being skeptical at the woman's words.

Lancer stared at her then nodded. "Okay, I will do it."

Sola sighs in relief and smiles lovingly at Lancer. But Lancer, at seeing that look, frowns. 'It's the same look.'

An image of Gráinne appears, looking at Lancer just like Sola did. 'The same look Gráinne had…'

"Oh… crud…" Yang muttered with her eyes widened, not expecting Lancer to see a woman from his past.

"I did not see that coming…" Nora muttered, also stunned along with the others who nodded in silent agreement.

"It would seem history is repeating itself." Qrow comments.

"That is yet to be seen." Ozpin says not believing until it happens while also hoping that it's not the case.

Now alone, Lancer is standing outside with his head down. 'I don't harbor resentment to anyone… But destiny has been cruel…' He walks inside the storehouse to the room where his former Master is sleeping. 'What I wish in this life is the loyalty that I lost and was denied in the past,' He thinks while observing the man. 'I wish to prevent history from repeating itself… But…' He stays quiet and just watches the injured man with sorrow.

"It seems that Lancer is aware of the current situation." James said.

"I hope that nothing bad happens to him." Kali comments, feeling sad for the Servant's complicated position.

In the McKenzie household, loud laughter could be heard. The Waver's fake grandfather and Iskander were laughing loudly, with the former having a slight blush due to the alcohol, while Waver watched them with a mortified expression.

"And we are back to Waver and Rider!" Nora cheered.

"And it seems that the elderly couple now knows about Rider." Ren mused, seeing the King of Conquerors enjoying a meal with the couple, much to the young Master's annoyance.

"I figured something like this would happen sooner or later." Ruby giggled.

"Ah, it certainly feels good to have a booze once in a while!" The older man said, grabbing the jar to refill Iskander.

"Here, here." Qrow raises his flask at that.

"Oh, thank you for that." The Rider servant, thanks as his jug, is filled.

"Oh, you should have told us we were going to have guests." Martha told her fake grandson. "I would've made some more food."

"Figures the big guy would show himself." Yang grinned in amusement.

"No, no, don't worry man. I'm pleased with the small delicacies you've made for now," The giant of a man said, waving off the woman's worries.

"My, my, aren't you lovely." The grandmother says, placing down a plate.

Iskander laughs loudly while Waver eats his rice with a blank expression. Not knowing what to make of this scene.

"And as usual, the boy can't control the King of Conquerors." Coco mused. "I get that Rider isn't supposed to show himself, but bet he would go crazy if he didn't do what he wants instead of being cooped up in a house. I know I would."

"I told you…" Waver starts saying. "To stay…" He continues, struggling as he drags something. "In spiritual form, didn't I?!" He finishes as he is shown to be carrying a large suitcase.

"Someone's angry." Nora chirped.

"Poor kid really needs to do some muscle training." Tai comments, seeing that he's having such a hard time with that large suitcase.

"If I had done so, I wouldn't have been able to bring this." Iskander says while sitting on the bed, showing a bag in front of him. "And I have the chance to show off my pants!"

"So that's why Rider showed himself." Jaune said as he recalled that he couldn't disappear with the items he was holding.

"That certainly gave him a good reason to show himself." Pyrrha giggled.

"What do you think is inside that bag?" Velvet asks.

Waver grabs the bag Iskander brought without saying anything. "And anyways, it was you, kid, who told me to bring this stuff!" He said, pointing at Waver, who gave him an unamused look.

"For a brilliant young mind, he doesn't really think ahead, does he?" Glynda sighed disappointedly at the boy's lack of planning.

The boy grabs the bag and puts it with the luggage. "Why do I, the King of Conquerors, have to bring water from the river again?" The man asks. Waver opens the bag, revealing test tubes filled with water.

"Water?" Penny titled her head in confusion. "Why would Waver need water from the river?"

"Perhaps there is something in the water the young man noticed." Ozpin says, a bit curious at what the young Magus is planning to do.

Waver opens the luggage, revealing a set of chemical tools. "Because you're more useful that way, rather than eating snacks and watching tapes." He accommodates the tools and opens a map that shows Fuyuki's river, marked with letters from A to Z. Iskander looks at the map curiously, while Waver is unusually serious.

James hummed as he was getting a bit curious at what Waver was doing. "He made Rider pick up samples of water from different parts of the river."

"Is there something in the water for him to do that?" Winter comments also getting interested herself.

He drips some liquid on a glass filled with water and starts mixing it, the liquid turning green. Iskander eyes him with arms crossed. "What are you doing? Playing Alchemist?"

"That does resemble alchemy." Weiss points out.

"Waver knows how to do alchemy?" Ruby innocently asks.

"He was a former student of Kayneht's." Blake reminds them.

"I'm not playing. I am an Alchemist." Waver answers as he shakes the glass to examine it.

With the liquid of the glass, he starts pouring tiny drops on the samples Iskander brought. Sample A changes from the usual clear color to a dark red-orange one. Waver gasps, and Iskander raises an eyebrow. "What's that?" Iskander asks.

Pyrrha gasps at the sight of the sudden change of the water. "What was that? A chemical reaction?"

"And by Waver's reaction, it looks serious." Ren points out.

Waver grabs the test tube and eyes it. "Leftovers of enchantments." He answers. "It's the remnant of Magecraft left in the water."

"Caster!" Glynda gasps.

"Remarkable… to trace leftovers from Caster's past activities through alchemy." Ozpin says in awe, seeing what the young man is doing even his past lives. He has never thought such a thing was possible.

The map is shown as Waver continues to explain. "That means someone it's being using Magecraft near the river." He continues his tests as he explains to Rider his plans. "If we follow the trail, we can discover who did it."

"That's amazing! He managed to locate Caster so simply!" Penny says in awe.

"Take note of this. We may use this method if we are to track down individuals if they use their Semblances." James says, earning a nod from Winter and Penny, seeing the benefit of this idea.

Iskander turns to him. "Boy, did you know this will be in the water?" He asks.

"No way," Waver says as he continues to apply drops on the samples. "But this town is unusual. The river flows in the center of it. So start looking from the water was logical."

"I see… that is a logical idea." Ghira comments, seeing that the boy was starting to show a small reasonable opinion of himself.

He continues with samples O, P, and Q, but sample Q doesn't change color.

Waver grabs it and examines it. "Rider… Was there something between this point and this one?" He asks, tapping the points P and Q on the map. "Like an irrigation channel, maybe a sewer?"

"Oh! There was one of those of a giant size!" Rider answers.

Waver gets up and nods. "That's it, if we go there, then we might find Caster's hideout."

"Ingenious… despite the boy's lack confidence in combat, he has proven to be skilled in his magecraft along with his investigation skills." Glynda says, impressed at the display of skill, the young Master of Rider took note of this, seeing that a particular Doctor from Beacon would be interested in learning this topic.

He starts packing his things, and Rider talks. "Boy, are you sure you're not a talented Mage already?" The servant asks, marveling at his Master's level of planning.

"I agree with the big guy. Waver is talented in his own right. In fact, I don't think he even needs the Grail, to begin with." Yang points out seeing that Waver is already an amazing person.

"I'm with ya, Firecracker. The only reason he's desperate for that Grail was cause he just wants attention." Qrow comments while taking a sip from his flask.

"How Kayneth did not see the potential in the kid is beyond me." Tai frowns, growing more disappointed with Kayneth and his poor teaching skills despite being a former skilled Magus.

"Even the king is seeing the potential he has in him." Pyrrha smiled, glad to see that the Servant was impressed.

Waver turns to face him. "A talented Mage wouldn't have done it the way I did," He says. "Since it's such a simple method." He extends one of his glasses and glares at Rider, who is watching the map. "You're making fun of me, aren't you?" He asks as if he expected that to be the case.

"You kidding me? He's the only one out the entire war that's looking for serial-killing Caster, talent or not that a huge achievement on itself." Weiss says, impressed at Waver's skill and disappointed at how low the boy sees himself.

"He must really be used to be looked down upon to say that he was expecting to be made fun of." Blake frowned at that fact.

"Not at all!" Iskander answers and grins. "Using simple methods to reach an elemental conclusion, it's much better than trusting complications techniques! As your Servant, I feel proud!" Despite his words, Waver just sighs tiredly.

"That kid does not look like he's convinced at all." Roman points out.

'Lack of self-respect.' Neo's sign says describing the wimpy kid, much to Roman's agreement.

"Very well then," Iskander gets up, gripping his sword and letting it rest behind his head. "Now that we have a location, it's time to act!" He proclaimed. "What do you say, boy? Time to act?!"

"Well, someone's eager." Coco mused.

"Probably going conquer Caster's–oh! Yeah… forget what I just said…" Jaune gagged, nearly finishing the sentence before quickly remembering where the said location was.

"Good call their Vomit Boy…" Yang joked while slightly gagging herself.

Waver sighs. "Wait a minute!" He says and crosses his arms. "We're talking about facing Caster…"

Rider was already at the door, staring at his Master with a raised eyebrow. "I know that."

"The kids' got the point. Caster isn't someone to underestimate." Sienna says, recalling the recent battle the Mad Servant was in.

"No, you don't!" The boy snaps. "Caster will have an enormous field advantage if we attack him where he lives. What kind of idiot doesn't see that?"

"Agreed, Caster would have the advantage thanks to his Skill, Territory Creation." Penny says, recalling D's lesson of Skills.

"I doubt that's going to stop the King of Conquerors!" Nora cheered.

Rider picks up the map from the bed. "You know? In war, enemies and allies can change from one second to another without expecting it." He shows the map to Waver. "Not attacking the enemy when you know where it is. It's the same as lamenting not doing it."

"That's… true…" James slowly said, almost as if he wasn't sure himself but answered, nonetheless.

"What's wrong, Jimmy? You sound a bit unsure there." Qrow grinned, seeing how unsure the General was.

"I believe you already heard my answer Qrow." James said with mild annoyance in his voice.

Waver looks at his Servant with a raised brow. "Why are you so anxious?"

"Why shouldn't I be?" The man questions. "My Master has finally done something worthy. As a Servant," He shows his sword. "I have to fulfill my duty and strike down the enemy Servant!"

"Yeah! You said King of Conquerors!" Nora cheered at the king.

"That's very nice of Rider." Ruby cheered.

"Velvet defiantly has the best Servant at his side." Velvet smiled.

At hearing the praise, Waver blushes and scratches his cheek. He looks at Rider and sees his big grin. "Don't give up before we even begin! Let's go and see what we can find!" The scene shows the entrance to a sewer as Rider says that last phrase. "It might go better than you expect."

On his chariot, Rider destroys any creature summoned by Caster to guard his hideout without a problem, while Waver yelps a bit at seeing them explode in blood.

"Yes! Kill those abominations!" Blake cheered, feeling glad that Rider was killing the monster's starfishes.

"Talk about roadkill. Someone's excited." Yang muttered while making a pun towards her teammates while making a grin on her face since she and her other friends are also happy that the monsters are getting trampled by Rider's chariot.

Weiss ignored the pun but was also enjoying the sight. "Give her this, she does like eating fish, and those monstrosities are a disgusting representation of fish."

"Yeah! Trample them, Rider!" Ruby cheered.

"Is this it?" The giant man asks. "See? This isn't a problem at all!" He boasts as more and more creatures are destroyed.

At his side, Waver looks unsure but seeing the easiness in which the creatures were being destroyed, an excited grin forms on his face, while Rider gives a battle roar. They both leave behind the corpses of the disgusting creatures.

"Not a pleasant sight but glad to see that those things are getting what they deserved." Kali says.

"I'm more surprised how easy it is for them to break in Caster's lair." Ghira comments, a bit surprised by that fact.

They reached the central zone of the pillars, with Rider grunting in disappointment. "Hmph! It seems Caster is not home."

"That would explain it, and it seems that the murder is not their either."

"No doubt they're both out scheming with their psychotic killings." Sienna spat.

The bulls stop, and Waver squints his eyes to try and see in the darkness. "Is this a water tank or something?" He wonders.

Rider is quiet. Then he spoke in a low voice. "Hey, boy… I think there's something here that you shouldn't see."

The moment that the Servant of the Mount said that is when everyone paled as they recalled the horrific memory of what the two serial killers have been doing at their hideout.

"Oh no…" Ruby mutters in fear and dread as she sinks in her seat.

"What are you saying?" Waver asks in annoyance. "If Caster isn't here, then we should look around for signals of his whereabouts."

"You might be right, but don't do it." Rider says, with seriousness never seen in him. "This is too much for you, boy."

"Listen to the big guy…" Yang mutters as she holds her sister to support her and herself as Ruby decides to look away even though she is somewhat used to the gore by now.

"You have good reason to investigate the area, but it's not worth it." Weiss shuddered as she held herself, and surprisingly Blake was holding her hand to try and calm her down while the heiress held back in kind.

"Shut up!" Waver stubbornly ignores him and produces two pebbles from his pocket.

He smashes them, and they glow on a green color, and he throws them in the air, illuminating the area.

"Now you've done it, brat…" Qrow shook his head in disappointment as he took a long sip from his flask.

"You guys can look away if you want." D says as he prepares another handful of puke bags for the weak stomach ones.

He gets out of the chariot and moves to inspect the zone, launching a second set of stones to illuminate the location even further.

Then… He steps on something that splashes around his face and clothes. He looks down, and then he runs some of the substance that sprayed him—It was blood. The light of the stone reveals the awful sight in front of him: Corpses of mutilated children in front of him.

"Oh Oum…! It's even worse than before…" Kali sobbed as she saw her husband while he narrowed his eyes.

"Sick bastards…" Even Torchwick was sick of the scene himself.

Waver's eyes widen in horror, and he staggers back. The shoe of a kid is shown before the stone's light worn off, the body not too far off…

Waver covers his mouth in horror and doubles over. The contents of his stomach touching the ground. Rider just watched him before sighing. "I warned you, didn't I? That you shouldn't have seen it…"

"You should have listened to him from the beginning, brat." Sienna says as she narrows her eyes at the horrific scene.

"Shut up!" Waver says between sobs. "Damn it, stop mocking me…" His sobs can be heard as the light of the stones dies down. "Damn it…"

"Poor child, he's not thinking straight." Glynda sadly says, understanding the kid's situation.

"Bet he's regretting participating in this war now." Tai comments but also feels sad for the kid.

Rider gets off his chariot and walks to his Master. "The time for saving people has passed, you imbecile. But what you're doing is okay." He told him. "If I saw someone unaffected by this scene, I would beat them to a pulp."

"That's… I-I don't know how to react to that." Winter stuttered, not expecting such a blunt yet honest answer from the King of Conqurors' words, but at the same time, she couldn't help but respect them.

"That… is very kind yet violent of him." Ruby silently giggles as she now looks at the scene. For starters, he is glad that the screen isn't showing the dead children and happy that Rider shows his humility.

"What do you mean, beat them? Idiot." Waver asks, his voice still rocking with sobs as he tries to regain composure. "Right now… You look perfectly fine with this, don't you?!"

"He's used to this. After all, with the title he has, it wouldn't be strange with conflicts he's gone through." D simply says. "The violent fighting in wars part, not the slaughtering of children part."

"Oh, thank goodness…!" Pyrrha sighs in relief as she places her hand on her chest.

"That's because now's not the time to be sentimental." Rider says as Waver's body trembles with sobs. The boy looks at him confused before Rider steps in front of him defensively and uses his sword to block an incoming dagger. The short blade spins in the air before getting embedded in the floor.

The audience gasps at the unexpected surprise attack.

"Caster's back?!" Nora gasps.

"No, he doesn't use throwing knives. That could only mean…" Ren says.

"Assassin!" Jaune shouts in realization.

Rider picks up the dagger and throws it at its owner. "Because my Master is in danger right now!" The attacker is none other than one of the Assassins. The dagger impacts with its neck, killing him instantly.

"Another Assassin down for the count!" Coco cheered.

"But how did they find them?" Velvet questioned.

"They've been ordered to monitor and spy the Master and Servants by Tokiomi, and Kirei remember?"

"Oh right." The rabbit Faunus chuckled in slight embarrassment.

"Assassin?!" Waver asks in shock. "But that isn't possible. Assassin is dead!" He said as the confrontation on the Tohsaka mansion is shown, how Archer killed the first Assassin.

"It's not the time to be surprised, boy." Rider says.

"Talk less, fight more!" Yang smirked at that idea.

From behind, a female Assassin appears, making Waver yelp in surprise and flinch back. Then a male one appears in front of them. Both of the Servants have daggers ready on their hands.

"Two against one?!" Jaune says in worry.

"I wonder how Rider will deal with them will?" Blake says, curious at how the Servant of the Mount will fight them.

Rider narrows his eyes at them. The female one starts advancing, but Rider turns his blade at her. Showing that he is ready and capable of taking both of them on and causing the woman to stop.

"H-how?!" Waver questions.

"The how is irrelevant." Rider says as Waver trembles in fear. "One thing is for certain, however… Those who believed in the death of Assassin have been tricked."

The female Assassin hisses and vanishes in the shadow, followed by her male counterpart. "They ran… Right?" Waver asks.

"They ran?" Glynda questioned.

"Looks can be deceiving." Ozpin says. "Assassin faked their death before it wouldn't be strange for them to deceive them again."

"Don't lower your guard." Rider says. "Two of them are dead, but the other two appeared. At this rate, we won't know how many Assassins are out there." He looks around. "This kind of terrain is their favorite." he looks back at his Master. "We should retreat."

"Dark and spooky place… yup, a perfect place for an assassin to be." Blake comments.

"Like you?" Yang lightly joked but earned a punch on the should from the cat Faunus making her wine and rubbed her shoulder as she sheepishly apologized.

"We should leave this place as it is?" Waver asks.

"Not a bad idea." Jaune sighs, hoping they can leave such a horrible place the two are in.

"But what about the children?" Ruby muttered, making everyone stutter at that question. "They can probably still save one of the children."

"You could find clues if you look around, but I say you drop it." Rider advises. He sheathes his shit walks to his chariot. "For now, we should do as much damage as possible. That way, Caster will have his hands full for a while."

"What…?" Ruby was stunned that the king would say that. "But… the children…"

"This is mercy killing." D cuts in. "There might be a chance they could look around the area to save someone, but it will take too much time, and even if they do find a child, I doubt they'll survive the trip out."

"But… but…" Ruby slowly stuttered, trying to find the proper response as she slowly teared up.

"Ruby… this may be cruel to your eyes, but this is kindness for these children. Do you honestly want them to continue suffering? Let's imagine this young lady if someone were in a state of death and life suffering to continue living. Wouldn't you kill that person to free them? Or rather… if your mother were like that, wouldn't you release her?"

Everyone was stunned that the deity would use the young girl's mother as an example of such a situation.

"WHAT?!" Yang shouts in horror and rage at what the deity just said.

"Why the hell would you use my wife as an example?!" Tai shouts in rage even Qrow is angry, doing his best not to hit the deity as he recalls the binding chains.

Ruby was just stunned as her eyes widened while her pupils shrunk. "W-What…?"

"This is not a fairy tale you can find in your books!" D sternly said, making everyone flinch at his tone. "There will come a time that you must make the ultimate decision where you like it or not. Above all else, your all Hunters. It's your sworn duty to protect everyone, even if you must make heartbreaking decisions. Like how Summer Rose made her's in the end."

Everyone who knew Summer Rose flinched at that. Harsh as it may seem, they all know it to be true.

Ruby didn't say anything, so she silently wept while Yang and her teammates held her while still giving glares at the deity but didn't mind it at all.

"As it pains for me to say this, what D speaks is true." Ozpin says to the students. "Take this to heart, children. There will come the time that you will try and save people but know that their different ways to save them."

"Like mercy killing?" Blake narrowed her eyes to that question.

The headmaster sadly sighs. "I hope that never happens to any of you."

Qrow just silently watched the deity with narrowed eyes as he was in deep thought. 'Does he know what happened to Summer?'

This thought was also shared by the late husband, Tai.

Lighting covers the chariot as the bulls roar. The electricity crashes around the hideout, creating explosions all around.

The two of them leave on the chariot in the middle of the destruction, with Waver watching in sorrow as the flamed consume the remains of the children they found. The boy closes his eyes in dismay as flames engulf the shoe. Focusing primarily on that small shoe he saw.

The audience silently prayed for the poor unfortunate children, but they were all happy that Caster's lair was now in shambles.

The two of them leave the hideout behind, with Waver having his head down. "With his hideout in ruins, Caster won't be able to hide and run anymore. He'll have to show himself." He takes the saddles with just one hand, and with the other, he grabs Waver's head in what should be a comforting gesture, but due to its roughness, the boy struggles in discomfort.

"That's good." Weiss sighs. "At least Caster can be found by the others now."

"And that Assassin now knows the location of Caster's former lair." Yang comments as she lets go of Ruby, knowing that she's calmed down.

"Before a long time passes, we'll put an end to his existence." He promises.

"That I can drink too." Qrow raises his flask at that.

"Those two must be eliminated at all costs." Winter narrowed her eyes in rage.

Waver still struggles through the head pat Rider is giving him but answers anyway. "Y-yes! I get it! Now cut it out!" He demands, but Rider only laughs.

The two move towards the exit. "Let's go, boy."

In the church, Kirei is talking to Tokiomi.

"Back in the church now." Jaune sighs, not happy with this scene change but was glad that it's not with the horrid lair anymore

"Don't you worry, Kirei. While certainly, it's unfortunate that they saw Assassin," Tokiomi says through the device they use to communicate, "before we could see Rider's Noble Phantasm. From this encounter, we know that Rider's Master is a third-class Mage." Tokiomi says from his mansion, leaning back on a table.

"Glad that you got that information now." Nora sarcastically said.

"At least they didn't learn much about Rider." Ren says, making his partner smile.

"But if we hadn't been discovered…" Kirei tries to say.

"You think other options were more possible?" Tokiomi asks as if talking to a small kid.

"Yes." Kirei answers, ignoring the man's tone.

Tokiomi scoffs. "While focusing on your plans is important, you should relax on the other aspects." He smirks and recites his family motto. "Grace is needed, even in battle."

"I don't like what he said…" Weiss narrowed her eyes at that comment.

"I thought you like being graceful?" Ruby raised her brow.

"Not at the way Tokiomi is saying it." The young Schnee frowned. She admits that she likes to fight with grace but how the Master of Archer is doing it. It only irritated her a bit.

At his words, a flash of Gilgamesh's conversation with Kirei is shown. "But I'd never thought he'd be this boring…"

"Looks like Archer's words are getting to his head now." Coco comments.

"I wonder how much this will affect him?" Velvet wondered, feeling a bit nervous.

Kirei looks to the side as he remembers those words, but Tokiomi continues speaking. "We'll have another chance to see Rider's Noble Phantasm. The Assassin's will continue monitoring Rider, but they should be careful as they do." He says through the device.

Kirei nods, his void eyes looking at the screen. "Understood, my teacher."

Master and Servants

(The countdown goes down by two)

"Looks like the seeds of doubt are taking root." Ozpin comments as he takes a sip from his mug.

"How do you think this will go, Oz?" James asks.

"Who can say? All we can do is watch."

(Ending Theme: MEMORIA by Eir Aoi)

(Ending Theme ends)

"Let's see what this preview has to show us now." Glynda wondered.

The preview opens, showing a Command Seal spinning on the screen as Tokiomi speaks. "Did you use too many Mana?"

"Tokiomi, huh?" Jaune comments. "I wonder what he's talking about."

"I'm sure there's something I can do to help!" Rin's voice says.

"Wait… is that Rin's voice?!" Kali says in surprise.

"What does that young girl have to do with the next viewing?" Ghira wondered while also being concerned.

"No way, she could have gone to Fuyuki!" Aoi's voice sounds despaired.

"What?! Rin's in Fuyuki?!" Winter gasps.

"Why would she possibly go there?" Penny wondered in confusion why a little girl would go there?

"Observe, the power of the Matou's Magecraft!" Kariya says as another Seal is shown over the first.

"And Kariya is in it!" Ren said.

"I hope he might do something about this." Pyrrha says, knowing that Kariya deeply cares for Rin and his sister.

"The party is about to start!" Ryuunosuke says, excited.

"Are you kidding me!?" Tai shouts in rage and disgust.

"No… that lunatic is in there too?" Sienna spats in disgust.

"Well, this certainly isn't the kid's day at all." Roman comments as he smokes a cigar.

'Poor kid…' Neo's sign says.

"I can achieve anything this way!" Rin's voice sounds determined.

"Well, at least the kid sounds determined." Yang smirked at Rin's determination.

Next time:

Rin's Adventure.

"That's a cute title." Ruby giggled. "But I do hope that she'll be alright."

"Let's find out, shall we?" D says as he prepares the subsequent viewing.
