Chapter Eight – Practice Rating Game

High School DXD – Rise of Dragons has new chapter coming out today!

First, I want to say I'm very sorry for not updating any of my stories last week and I'm trying my best to make a new reboot for Rising of the Shadow Dragoniods, but I'm not going to release it until I think I have enough chapters down.

"Is something wrong, Rias?" Issei asks her with a concerned tone, and Rias thinks about telling Issei and Asia that they would be Mark Rating Game with Sona and her team. Then she gets up from her wooden chair of the table with her expression was firm.

"Yes, we will have to go to battle soon, and we will have to win this battle to go, Familiar Forest," Rias told everyone with a serious voice, and Issei becomes interested inside of what the Familiar Forest holds inside of itself.

(January 19, 2012 – Middle of Park)

After school, Issei was breathing in than out for his dark brown eyes opens from closing them because it seems that spiritual training was difficult for Issei to learn about it. However, the negative ideas or thoughts surrounding his mind or spirit began to catch him before his spirit gets corrupted by them.

"It seems that you have failed to connect with your spirit again, but you are making impressive growth, Issei," Ddraig told Issei with a firm tone as his head nods at the agreement to start focusing on the training again.

His dark brown eyes closed them again to focusing on the spirit's energies as his energy appears light crimson. Then Ddraig's light green eyes extend of shock for Issei has achieved the first stages of activating his powers for the first time.

His memory brought back how Rias told Issei and Asia how they would battle another team inside of Mark Rating Game, yet Issei could tell that Rias wanted to be another opponent. Issei was trying his best to control his powers and become strong enough to activate the first stage of his powers as his eyes open to reveals his dark brown eyes opens to reveals a bright white space as the question was what this place is?

"Do you seek power?"

The question was asked from the emptiness inside the bright white space as Issei did not know how to answer the question because the tone of the voice makes it look sinister or wanting for deep meaning inside Issei's life. Looking down at his hands with a deep concern for his body wanted to say yes for the power, but Issei wanted to work on getting the power first before he jumps into something he cannot control.

Ddraig could not believe it because he has seen many people inside his past fall into the darkness of wanted power to defeat his enemies or try to rule the world, yet the promises of new powers did not fool Issei.

"I believe you are asking the wrong question, and the question should be, why I do I want power for?" Issei responds to an empty voice as the white space was surprised by the question because it found Issei's question was the true question.

"So why do you seek the powers of Red Dragon of Domination for?" The empty white voice speaks towards Issei with a confident tone as the answer comes from Issei shows a light smile because it seems that Issei has found his answer.

"My answer is why I seek power is because I want to protect everyone that I care about and everyone that I love," Issei answers the question with a firm tone, and white space turns into a bright crimson aura surrounds Issei as first he felt warm and smooth around the new aura.

Issei opens his eyes to sees himself in the middle of the park and gathers the energy inside his body, which the energy surrounds Issei's body at first.

(At Occult Research Club)

Rias was studying their books to ready for the upcoming battle, yet she felt a jolt of energy racing to makes her nerves becomes chill by the impact of new energy as she looks up to sees nobody there. She gets up from her wooden desk of wondering who was causing this much energy to go out. Rias' eyes extend because this power was similar to her big brother's energy, yet it has a warm and smooth feeling around it.

The answer was Issei Hyoudou was trying to reach the level to activate Red Dragon of Domination is the first stage of power, which her lips form warm smile because it seems that Issei always was trying to reach a new level of power inside of him to surpass the first level of it.

(At Hyoudou's Residences)

Raynare's outfit was a midnight blue short sleeve shirt as it was revealing fifty percent of her cleavage and dark purple shorts down to her lower thighs. Mittelt wears a light blue shirt that shows twenty-five percent of her cleavage and black skirt down to lower thighs, and Asia's outfit was dark green dress reveals fifty percent of her cleavage, which her dress went down to her lower thighs. Raynare and Mittelt felt incredible powers coming from the park which they begin to recognize the powers of Issei, yet the power was slowly gathering into one place. Mittelt and Asia put lunch together for Raynare to take it to Issei, which she was happy to do it. However, Mittelt and Asia wanted to get together with Issei, then Mittelt speaks, "Raynare, how about you go and tell him how you feel about him before someone else takes him from you. I mean, you do want to be the first girl to confess to him, right?"

Raynare nods at the dark blue bento box filled with food, and she takes the capsule filled with lemonade then her head nods at them. Today was the day, Raynare told Issei that she wants to be together with him, and she loves him.

She went out of the house as her heart filled with confidence to speak of her feelings as Raynare left the house to find Issei.

(At the Park)

Issei was trying to gather the strength to control his powers, yet he was not ready to control it as his dark brown eyes become light green slit dragon eyes as his aura appears been crimson. However, his powers go down as he wanted to learn how to control it, then his head turns for, he felt someone was coming towards his direction with his thoughts, "Are they, friend or enemy?"

Raynare held something for him to take a break, which Issei calms down to see her. Then he speaks, "Raynare, is something wrong?" His tone of voice was worried about something to happen at the house; then she went over with her expression was nervous because she had sweat coming from her forehead. The moment was right for her to express her feelings for Issei, and she went over to confusing Issei, and his head tilts into confusion because it seems that he did not understand what Raynare was trying to tell him.

"Issei, I have to tell you something," Raynare tells Issei with a confident tone, and she was going to express her feelings for him.

"What is it, Raynare," Issei responds to her.

"Issei, the first time I met you… You were just my target of investigation which my leaders wanted to find out if you are a threat to us, but when I started to get closer to you… I found myself starting to like you more than a friend." Raynare confesses to Issei about her real feelings as he was surprised because he did not know about Ddraig been inside of him until he met the dragon inside his dreams. Then she continues to speak, "What I'm trying to tell you is… I love you, Issei Hyoudou." Her tone was confident and warm towards Issei, with her heart begins to hope that Issei will feel the same way for her.

Issei could not believe it, but Raynare told him that she loves him as his face becomes deep red, then his aura and eyes become back to normal. He did not know how to respond to her. His lips try to form the words to tell her. The moments become minutes of waiting for Issei's confession of his feelings for her. A dark red magical circle appears onto Issei's right ear. The message from Rias and she speaks, "Issei, I'm going to contract the others, but it's time for Practice Rating Game against Sona's Team," her tone was confident that Issei and the others were ready to battle Sona's team.

"Oh, come on!" Raynare screams into dark blue skies with white clouds make the clear way of Fallen Angel's scream could be heard from it.

Issei's hair covers his dark brown eyes as he goes over to Raynare with her hands are held by his hands as he was looking into her eyes with his own. Her eyes extend of surprise as it seems that Issei was going to respond to her feelings of love, which he speaks, "I… I love you too, Raynare."

Raynare could not believe the confession from Issei, which means that they were together, yet she walks over to places her breasts onto his chest with her eyes were brighten. Then Issei leans in, which he kisses her for the first time.

Their eyes closed them for their feelings has a connection with Issei places his hands onto her waist comfortable to hold her, and Raynare's hands wrap around Issei's neck warmly and comfortable to hold him in position to keep kissing him. They pull one another away as Issei begins to remember that he has left to Occult Research Club as his right hand took Raynare's left hand.

Issei and Raynare arrive in front of Kuoh Academy. She was ready to battle another devil because, if she remembers about the Rating Games were high risk for Devils to accomplish in their skills, strategies, and powers inside of them. Raynare wraps his right arm between her breasts as his cheeks turn bright red because this was the first time, he felt her breasts between his right arms. Well, Issei could saw he already saw them twice inside his life, yet the first time was holding one of them inside his sleep as his head begins to shake the idea away from him because he needs to focus on the battle in front of him.

Issei and Raynare enter Occult Research Club to found Rias, Koneko, Asia, Kiba, and Akeno were waiting to see those two, which it seems two have grown close to one another. Mittelt nods at her best friend to get together with Issei at first as Rias, Koneko, Asia, Mittelt, and Akeno are jealous about Raynare's advancement with Issei.

"So, what's the news about this Rating Game." Asked Issei, his voice of excellent been ready for the next challenge.

"We have agreed to have our own Pawns to face one another, but we are not going to be allowed to help you inside of the battle, Issei." Rias gives her answer to the team with a firm tone, and Issei nods at the agreement because he would need to try his best to challenge new opponents. "When you are ready, then step in the middle of a magical circle, Issei," Rias responds to Issei with a confident tone, which she was worried about Issei. However, she had a belief that Issei was going to win this Practice Rating Game.

Issei went over to the magic circle as Raynare pulls away from her boyfriend with her head nods at him because it seems that he was ready to battle another dragon.

(Middle of Mountain Terrain)

At first, there was a bright light, then his dark brown eyes open to reveals dark gray land with mountains surrounding Issei, and his eyes looks down to felt nothing was different about this terrain then he flew onto the mountain's top to see nothing but rocky terrain for six miles. "So, this where the battle is going to take place?" Issei was asking himself with a soft tone, and his head turns to feel someone's energy was coming in his direction.

A young man made his appearance with his hair was spiky blonde, and his eyes were dark silver, his outfit was black shirt been short sleeve and dark blue long pants down to his black shoes.

The same energy of dragon that Issei felt around this person was the same one as his dark brown eyes become to focus on the battlefront of him, and he says, "My name is Issei Hyoudou and who you are?" His tone was confident about learning his name; then, the young man shows a light smile towards Issei.

"I'm Saji Genshirou, and I'm a pawn of Sona Sitri." Saji introduces himself back to Issei with confidence about winning the Practice Rating Game for his team.

Issei and Saji flew towards one another as Issei's right fist and Saji's left-hand makes a collision in the middle of the terrain as it sends the wind away from the clash of attacks. Issei sends his left leg towards Saji's left side with a strong kick, yet Saji dodges the attack by jumping upwards of dodges the kick.

The next attack was Saji's right fist lands onto Issei's right side of his face, and it sends Issei through a light gray small mountain, yet Issei stops himself by digging himself into the ground. Saji was surprised to see Issei sending himself to him, yet Issei uses his newfound speed to hit Saji's middle section with a strong attack by the right fist.

Saji's eyes extend of shock because Issei's speed was incredible to see it then Saji's lips releases a small amount of blood from his lips then Issei sends Saji through one mountain by kicking him by his right side of his left foot. Saji lands on the solid surface of rocky terrain as his lip forms a delighted smile because it seems that Issei Hyoudou was a strong person to become one of his rivals.

(In Sky)

There was a protective dome which it holds Rias' team, and Sona's team was shocked by the impact between Issei and Saji, which it was incredible for them to battle one another for the first time.

(At Mountain Terrain)

Saji got up from lying down back to his feet and sees Issei ready for another round with Issei.

"How interesting that he could push me, yet he was only using his base form right now." Saji was telling himself with a soft tone, which his thoughts brought more respect for Issei. However, the battle only begins between them, so the victory will go to the person who can defeat the other one down.

Issei and Saji went after one another as their fist clashes with one another, which it makes the impact to send the shockwaves towards the small mountains then it makes the rocky mountain into little hills. Intense feelings begin to build between the attacks as Issei dodges another attack. His jacket was not lucky with his outer shirt was exposed to revealed then Issei and Saji lands away from each other than Issei's expression shows a seriousness to Saji because the battle was not going to be an easy one.

Issei's right hand torn the jacket to reveals his dark crimson shirt away from, and Saji saw Issei was ready to fight again. Saji sees Issei begin to form a dark crimson aura around him as the wind begins to blow away from Issei. His eyes become bright brown, then turns into a dark green dragon slit as Saji shows a bright smile, for it seems that Issei Hyoudou was an interesting person to fight. Saji's aura becomes light purple around him, with his hair becomes dark purple as the two dragon users went forward with another attack with their fists punches one another but catch by their open hands.

Saji throws a strong kick from his right foot as Issei sees it coming to hit his middle section but using his body to dodges the attack. He releases Saji's punch to ducks underneath the attack to sends his freed hand into Saji's middle section of his chest area to makes a cracking sound with his attack. Then Saji coughs out light red blood out of his mouth. However, Issei notices Saji's left foot kicks Issei's left cheek as it sends him through the rocky terrain, but Issei stops himself by digging into the ground again as Issei went after Saji.

Dark crimson and purple lightning were shot out of Issei and Saji by their attacks as one attack was sent from Issei's right punch. Still, Saji dodges the attack of trying to do a counterattack with a right kick towards Issei's middle section, yet Issei uses his aura to protect himself from the attack. Issei gathers dark red energy inside of his hands and ready to finish the battle with Saji, which Saji gathers dark purple energy blast inside his hands.

"Issei Hyoudou! I'm going to win this!" Saji screams at Issei inside of the sky.

"No, you are not, Saji Genshirou!" Issei screams back at Saji middle of the empty terrain.

Issei's blast was sent towards Saji, the ground, showing cracks. Saji's attack made the sky into a light purple aura. The attack made ultimate collision together to cracks the world's reality where the two dragons were fighting one another in Practice Rating Game.

(At Protective Dome in Sky)

Rias and Sona place a barrier around the dome to protect them from the ultimate collision of powers as the two leaders could not believe how powerful or strong their pawns have become. The question is how far they are willing to go until they are ready to decide a winner in this Practice Rating Game.

"Incredible fight between two dragons," Raynare tells everyone with an undescribed tone towards the others as they could not believe this intense battle. The others could not believe the destructive ability between the two dragons, yet they wanted to see who would victory at the end of the day.

(At Destroyed Terrain)

Issei and Saji's power attacks were canceled by one another as Saji was breathing in then out which he did not see Issei anywhere in sight. Saji raises his right hand into the sky. However, Issei appears behind him to show a dark crimson aura around his presences to sends Saji through two mountains. His right hand holds a crimson lightning energy ball then strikes Saji's middle section with the attack as it causes a massive explosion of lightning and dark crimson energy destroys the rest of the mountains. Saji's jacket was destroyed, and only his shirt was left standing with a few torn inside of it.

Issei and Saji were breathing in then out of tired out as Issei stops his attack from reaching Saji's middle section as the two dragon users fall onto their backsides.

"You were incredible… and you are… my rival now, Issei," Saji told Issei with a confident tone about the next time for them to meet in the ring next time.

"I'm… I'm looking forward to next time we meet too, Saji." Issei responds to his new rival that he wants to fight again.

Two dragon users became rivals today, but they could friendship building inside of them as everyone goes down to check on Issei and Saji.

Issei sees the sight of Asia's white panties underneath her skirt, yet he turns his head to see the girls smiling because it seems that Issei has won this battle. Rias looks to sees Sona, and she looks back at her best friend, then nods at her best friend with approval for Gremory has won the Practice Rating Game and gets to enter the Familiar Forest first. Issei closes his eyes, for his powers were incredible but costly for him to use them.

(In Hyoudou's Residences – Issei's Bedroom)

Issei opens his eyes to sees his bedroom's ceiling, which "I'm back… in my room?" His thoughts inside of his mind and getting up into a sitting position to hears the bedroom's door then notice it was Asia, which her outfit was the same. She went over to see how Issei was doing, and she rushes over to see her guardian angel was up since he was out for two days.

"Issei, how are your wounds and energy?" Asia questions Issei with a worried voice and expression as she was checking on his injuries to find nothing there to report as his lips form a warm smile for Asia.

Asia wraps her hands around Issei with her head was buried into his chest as he felt tears of happiness dripping from her eyes because she believed that Issei was not going to recover or wake up from an intense battle or scene. Issei's hand was placed onto Asia's backside comfortably, and his hand strokes her blonde hair smoothly.

"It's alright, Asia… Nothing is going to happen to me." Issei gives warm words to comfort her because Asia lost her parents in a terrible car accident, so she was an orphan. However, the church adopted her as their child, and the church raised her to become a nun, yet she felt more blessed to meet incredible people like Issei and the others.

Tomorrow was a full moon, meaning it was time for familiars inside Familiar Forest. It was time for Issei and Asia to go inside the mystical forest to try their luck to get familiar.
