Story: The Tank Enthusiast's Heart and the Commander.

(Before the National Championships)

Miho was walking home one day when... A girl took her eyes.

She just stared. She couldn't stop. The girl she was staring at had Brown hair... All fluffy... So adorable. A sweet smile, that made her legs weak... She gulped.

'This type of staring should be made illegal.' She thought to herself as she attempted to walk in a different direction to this girl, but she walked directly past her... Her perfume. It was intoxicating...

Miho closed her eyes and stopped. The smell... It was so nice...

She opened her eyes and turned to the girl who was literally only a second away. "Ummm, Excuse me."

The girl looked to her and her chocolate eyes held Miho's in statis. "Yeah?"

'Damnit... She even has a nice voice!' Miho smiled and tried to remain composed. "Umm..Ummm.."

"Wait a second... Aren't you the Legendary Nishizumi? The one that took on that team in the nationals? I... I'm sorry for what happened."

Miho shook her head. "Think... Think nothing of it."

This girl had her words in the right places... Such soft skin... So, polite...

Wait, Legendary?

(Fast forward to today)

"... Yukari."

Yukari blinked and looked to Miho who was previously staring into space. "What is it Nishizumi-Dono?"

"Have... Have we met before?"

Yukari pit a finger to her lip. "I can't honestly remember... Maybe?"

Miho wanted to think it wasn't. But, all the features... All the detail. The moniker, "Legendary Nishizumi"... It fit Yukari SO...

So, damn, well.

Saori tilted her head at Yukari. "You might have met her before... Maybe before the nationals or joining Oarai?"

Yukari hummed, which had Miho staring at her. Hana had her figured out - As had Mako. But...

Mako was asleep, and Hana was tending to some plants.

Miho slipped Yukari a piece of paper into her skirt pocket, which had Yukari yelp.

Saori rose an eyebrow at Yukari. "What now?"

Yukari blinked as her mind raced. "N-Nothing. We... We all should go home now. Practice is over..."

"... Yeah."

Later that evening...

Yukari was in a fiery blush the moment she got into her bedroom. She locked the door and slowly put her fingers into the skirt pocket. Yes. THE pocket that Miho had touched...

Yukari's heart skipped a beat as she pulled out the piece of paper - Unfolding it with the same careful precision that a surgeon would.

Yukari blinked in confusion. Eh? A number... Eh?

She blinked time and again. Eh? Eh? This was Miho's piece of paper... With... A number on...

Yukari brain ticking:

5.

A number.

4.

Miho's paper.

3.

Yukari's skirt pocket.

2.

An encounter she can't explain.

1.

Realisation.

THIS WAS MIHO NISHIZUMI'S NUMBER!

Yukari had such a deep blush on her face that she literally passed out.

Yoshiko who was downstairs heard a massive noise:

THUD.

She chuckled.

Yukari's father looked at her. "What was that? Is Yukari o-"

"Oh, she's more than fine. I think her crush gave her, her number." Yoshiko had the clue right on the moment she saw Yukari fiddle with her skirt earlier when she came home.

(Flashback)

Yukari frowned as she walked into the Akiyama barber shop. "I'm home..."

Yukari began to mutter numerous things under her breath as she fiddled with her skirt, trying to figure out what was in it.

Yoshiko came to see her daughter and then blinked in confusion. She was fiddling... With her skirt?

"Welcome back- Yuki... What are you doing?"

Yukari looked to her mother. "Eh, see, Miho gave me something earlier. But I, I don't know what it is."

Yoshiko pointed to the stairs. "Go and get ready for dinner. We can talk about it later."

She had a knowing smile on her face. She had a feeling she knew what had happened, but, she didn't want to embarrass her daughter... Not yet anyway.

Yukari walked past her mother. "...Yeah. Okay."

(End Flashback)

Yoshiko kept chuckling and then her husband started to chuckle as well. He had gotten the point.

He knew very well his daughter would not bring home a husband... But to be honest? If it was Nishizumi, Yukari set her heart on, there was nothing to stop her... Well. Except for the mild concussion she'd have when she woke up. That was for sure.

"I'll get the meds..."

Yoshiko blinked. "Whatever for?"

"Her concussion she'll have when she wakes up."

"Good point." Yoshiko smiled. "Thanks Hon."

"No problem."

To Be Continued.
