One evening, he witnesses the death of an old friend, murdered under his eyes. On his way to find and punish the killer, he'll meet the mysterious and fascinating the LAPD Detective Ahsoka Tano.

When you were tasked with joining Anakin's squadron they'd hoped that maybe you'd rub off on him not the other way around, never in a million years had you expected to fall in love, question the Jedi order, and learn to love yourself but here you are, they say if you play with fire you'll get burned well your drenched in gasoline and about to dive headfirst into a sea of flames.

In the aftermath of Order 66, Rex and Ahsoka find themselves broken and defeated. As they try to make their way in a galaxy now run by the Empire, they struggle to remain safe and hidden while finding a purpose for life beyond just surviving. Without the war to occupy his mind, Rex finds that space being filled with intense, new feelings for Ahsoka.
