Commander John Shepard hangs between life and death, having the strangest conversation of his life. His friends and lover must come to terms with the new world they reside in and hope for the day that Shepard returns to them.

This story I wrote as a kind of Farewell to my Commander Shepard after finishing my definitely last playthrough of the whole Mass Efect saga. I guess I just wanted to leave some kind of record of the profound emotional journey these games have taken me on, and I hope this has led to the production of something worth reading for other fans of the game.
