Izuku tried to open his eyes. It was difficult. He felt uncomfortable. Slowly, his thoughts started coming back to him. He could feel pain all over his body.

'Where am I?'

Even in his head, his words were slow and tiring to think. He tried to observe more without moving or opening his eyes. He was sitting in a chair. He felt pressure on his forearms and ankles, indicating he was strapped down. After about 30 seconds of being semi-conscious, his hearing came back to him, and the ringing in his head died down a bit.

"Alright, that's one kid down. How does it feel, All Might? To be worthless?"

The voice, Izuku recognised it, but he couldn't put a finger on it.

"Most of your students who showed up are injured, and they're all completely subdued. Don't bother trying to pinpoint this call either. It'd be useless to even try."

With that, the sound of a phone hanging up was echoed through whatever room they were in, and then was followed by the sound of the same phone smashing on the ground.

What the hell was going on.

"As for the rest of you wannabes, I have no hesitation to kill you all. But, Himiko Toga did ask to 'Have fun with my best friends!' And I don't want to keep her waiting." The voice said as a door opened and closed, indicating that the owner of the voice left.

Sounds of muffled voices were heard by Izuku. However it was, they seemed very upset with the current situation.

Izuku tried piecing the information together. The muffled voices in the room were most likely his classmates of 2-A.

'The voice said that the students were injured, but alive, so hopefully none of them are fatally wounded.'

If he had to put a guess on it, he was the student the voice was referring to as 'down'. Did everyone think he was dead? Could he use that to his advantage?

His eyelids were still too heavy to open, and his body ached too much to move. One-For-All couldn't activate.

Memories began coming to Izuku.

That Morning (May 16)

Class 2-A was enjoying their Saturday by going to an amusement park. They all decided it would be a good stress reliever, and a good time to hang out with each other.

Some students, like Katsuki Bakugou and Shoto Todoroki, declined the invitation and said they needed to focus on their Final Exams. Most people called them workaholics.

Izuku Midoriya considered refusing, but his best friend, Ochako Uraraka, convinced him that out of all of their peers, he needed to relieve stress the most (She also wanted an excuse to hang out with him more).

Come 12:30 PM, everyone who accepted was ready to leave. Tenya Iida devised a plan for the amusement park. Everyone would travel in pairs, and every hour and a half, they would meet up and play games. Naturally, Izuku got teamed with Ochako, and the other teamings were pretty normal too. Except when Mineta asked to be paired with Kaminari, but before he could respond, Jiro kicked the grape boy out of the way and asked the electric quirk user the same question. He accepted with a dumb grin on his face. Izuku could definitely tell that they liked each other.

Other things happened too, like Kirishima being slightly upset at Bakugou's absence, only for Ashido to come in and ask him to be her pair. He seemed pretty excited about that. Yaomomo seemed pretty upset at Todoroki's absence, but paired with Tenya because of their duties as Class Representatives. Izuku was like, 75% sure that Momo and Todoroki liked each other.

However, he did fail to notice Ochako's dumb grin when he accepted.

And she failed to notice his smile as soon as he looked the other direction from her while he was blushing.

'You totally like her.'

Izuku's automatic thought process caught him off guard as his mind kicked back to reality and almost tripped over.

"Deku?" He heard the very person he was thinking about and he blushed.

"S-Sorry, Uraraka, I'm just thinking too much." He replied. Not entirely a lie.

"Like normal." She said back before they both started laughing lightly. "Ooh, what's this?"

Izuku looked at her and was about to ask what she was talking about, but then he saw what she was standing in front of. One of the stores was selling hero merch. Class 2-A Hero merch. With the sports festival at the start of the year and most of the class working outside of campus under different heroes, they had made quite a name for themselves.

"Is it even legal for them to make this without our permission?" He asked, as he picked up a Deku plushie.

"I guess, sense it seems to have approval from UA, and it doesn't have our names written on it."

"You're always good with the legal stuff Uraraka."

"Yeah, it has to do with my family basically. I might've considered taking UA's Business Course if I didn't like Thirteen or being a hero."

"Well I'm glad you're with us in the Hero Course because It means we get to see each other." He said before his face reddened. "I mean… I… uh…"

"Thank's Deku, I appreciate it." She responded, snickering at her crush's awkwardness. (Totally more than a crush)

Izuku sighed at his own stupidity as he set down the plushie. Ochako made a disappointing pouting noise. Him, knowing that she looked really cute when she pouted, immediately looked over.

"I guess I'm not famous enough to get my own plushie." She said. Out of all of the Class 2-A students, only three of them got their own plushie. (I don't need to tell you which three)

"Maybe not, but you got this cool sticker! And a necklace!" He responded while holding up a bunch of Uravity stickers and a Uravity necklace. This seemed to slightly appease her.

"Well I guess it's fair cause I didn't get 1st in the sports festival like you did." She reputed, making the green haired teen blush.

"C'mon. I may have gotten first, but I did end up with the most injuries. I had a concussion!"

"You usually end up with the most injuries." She said, sounding slightly mad, but then she smiled. "But either way, you performed amazingly!"

"T-thanks Uraraka. I still feel like we improved so much since then."

"Mhmm." She mumbled out as she took a bite of sample mochi, and her face lit up. "Oh, this is good!"

Immediately, Izuku devised a plan in his head. "Hey Uraraka, is that Tsuyu and Hagakure over there?" He asked her as she looked to where he was looking.

"It is! We should go talk to them! I wonder how Hagakure will react when we say she only had a couple stickers."

They both snickered.

"Yeah, that sounds fine. I'll catch up though, I gotta use the bathroom."

She nodded and started walking towards her two friends.

Izuku turned around and saw the mochi stand. He looked at the menu before ordering the same kind of mochi with a different flavor from the sample.

The man at the stand smiled as he rang the green haired teen up. "Good plan with the distraction, kid."

Izuku blushed a bit as he handed him the money. The man gave the teen a box of mochi.

"I'd say a 95% chance she likes you back."

Izuku's face reddened deeply. "T-thanks f-for the Mochi!" He practically yelled as he dashed towards his friend's and crush's group. (Totally more than a crush)

(Back with the girl's)

Ochako and Tsuyu were chuckling at Hagakure's overreaction to only getting a couple stickers in the store.

"Whatever, there's more important things at stake here. Ura, How's your date with Midori?"

"I-It's not a date! It's a friendly hang out between friends. And it's going very well!" Ochako said a bit loud while her friends started laughing at her words.

"To be young and in love!" Tooru sarcastically said before getting poked by Ochako.

"Not funny!" She kept Tooru as Tooru kept laughing at her.

"Hey guys!"

The three looked over and saw Izuku carrying a box. Ochako immediately recognised the smell.

"Deku, is that…?"

"I.. May have lied about needing to use the restroom."

"Ah Deku, you shouldn't have!" She said happily as she hugged Izuku after he set the box on a table. This caused his entire body to light up red.

Tooru looked at Tsuyu and performed the 'Haha look at this I was right' point with her glove.

When the two girls decided it was time to stop being the 3rd and 4th wheels, they said they were leaving.

Not before Tooru looked at Izuku and loudly whispered, "Treat her well, Midori!" This caused the two cinnamon buns to blush. Then the two waited until the girls were out of sight before they started eating the mochi.

"Really, thanks for the Mochi, Deku! This flavor is even better than the sample one."

"G-glad to hear. You're welcome!"

Soon after they were done, they got a message from Iida asking them to meet up at the center of the park.

On the way there however, present Izuku's memory was a blur. He remembered people coming to attack him and everyone else. They had a group of people, all with quirk enhancing drugs, and specific quirks so they could capture all of the UA students. They learned through one of the traitors in the UA staff that the students were having a day off.

The group of people had very useful quirks. Once all Class 2-A was together, time seemed to slow down for them. One of the villain's quirks normally allowed him to slow time on a single object and only slow it a little bit. But, with the drug, he slowed down all of the class. Then, they used another villain's quirk that allowed them to make whoever he was looking at fall asleep. This was also boosted by the drug.

Then, the students were all teleported away.

Then Izuku remembered the most recent events. He woke up the first time in the warehouse uninjured. The students made an attempt to escape. A whip attack meant for Uraraka, was taken by Izuku after he jumped in front of her. Eventually, the villains got control of the situations and got everyone tied up with quirk-suppressing bracelets. The villains wanted to punish Izuku for acting 'like he care about people other than himself'.

This is when they learned who they were captured by. The Paranormal Liberation Army. The voice after he woke up the second time? That was Tomura Shigaraki.

They specifically stated that his punishment was death. He remembered that. They also said they were going to make it painful. It was. They did.

But did they not succeed? Back in the present, Izuku sits on his chair with his head hung low and his body slumped over. It was very difficult to observe him breathing due to the poorly lit room. He was. He was alive. Nobody knew except for him. His head hurt less now, as remembering everything made it worse. He realised that One-For-All couldn't activate due to the quirk-removing bracelets.

One-For-All can't be stolen, but it can be suppressed.

He heard the door open and close again. The sound of all of his classmates in the room was alarming. They were supposedly tied up too.

"Hey friends~! Sorry for what happened to Izu, but Shigaraki promised he could bring him back just for me!"

The muffled sounds in the room were frantic, and scared.

"Now time to have some fun! Who to stab first?"

'She is borderline insane!'

Then, the door opened again. Shigaraki's voice was apparent.

"Toga, hurry it up, the heroes have a lead on us. I'll come in and kill 'em in 30 minutes. I'll send Dabi in to supervise."

Toga seemed disappointed when she said, "Yes sir."

Minutes later, Dabi and Toga were in the room.

"Who first?" She asked.

…

"The green haired kid was friends with her, right?" Dabi said as he pointed towards Ochako.

"Ah, Ochako! You do love Izuku, right? I'll let you join him! Isn't that romantic?"

Several muffled sounds started screaming through the room. Izuku did not want anyone to hurt any of them. Especially Ochako.

"D… don't h-hurt her."

Everyone went completely silent. Izuku forced himself to push his body upwards and his face flung up and looked at Toga. There was a lot of blood on it. He finally opened his eyes. Everything was blurry for a moment, then it readjusted. Everyone's face was conveying absolute shock.

"Dang, Izuku. Wasn't expecting that." Toga said as she started walking towards the green haired kid. "You look so handsome with all that blood on your body."

Izuku's head clicked, and a plan formed in his head.

"Yeah, and Dabi looks great with that knife in his chest." Izuku lied, using it as an opportunity. Naturally, Toga immediately turned around and looked at Dabi. He used this as an opportunity to push his toes downwards. This lifted the front of his chair up. He pushed up, and the front of the chair rose, before it fell back down again.

The resulting momentum sent him crashing into Toga, and breaking the cheap wooden chair he was sitting in. He tumbled backwards. The amount of pain he was in was excruciating, but he needed to save his friends. Izuku was freed, but he still had the quirk-erasing bracelets.

He looked around him. The students closest to him were Satou, and Kaminari. He rolled to Satou and grabbed a leg on his chair. He pulled. This sent the giant teen falling towards the ground before his chair shattered and he sat back up. He took the muffle out of his mouth.

Before Satou could say anything, Dabi ran forwards to attack Izuku. Satou jumped in front of him and blocked the attack. Izuku then kicked Kaminari's chair over, freeing him.

Satou and Kaminari began fighting the two villains as Izuku kept running around and freeing people. Coincidentally the last person he freed was Ochako. His adrenaline finally ran out by that point, and he collapsed on the floor. Ochako quickly knelt down and took off the cloth over her mouth.

She began whispering in his ear, "Deku! I was so scared that you were… you were…" She couldn't finish as Izuku put a finger to her lips.

The villain's were being overpowered, and they heard heroes showing up outside.

Izuku looked up at the perfect girl sitting next to him. He sat up and looked at her.

"Ochako… Have I ever told you… How pretty you are?"

She began crying into his neck as the fight surrounding them lost meaning.

"Deku! You have to stay awake… Please!"

His eyes were forcing themselves shut as the pain in his body began decreasing.

"You can't die Deku! I lo-"

Everything went black.

"-Miss, are you friends or family?"

"... Friend."

"Alright, keep in mind he is asleep, but he should be able to leave the hospital when he wakes up. He'll have to take it easy for a couple weeks, and he has a ton of scars over his body."

"Okay."

Izuku opened his eyes after he heard the conversation. He could piece together where he was. Hospital. The nurse who was talking walked away and Ochako walked in the room. He quickly closed his eyes to pretend he was asleep.

She sat down next to him and reached out to his hand and gripped it. It felt nice for both of them. She put her head down next to Izuku's.

"You did good Deku. You were able to outsmart the villains, and you saved everyone. You're so… Amazing. And stubborn. I-I wish you didn't get hurt so much, t-though." She whispered into his ear. She was starting to tear up.

He would have blushed under normal circumstances, but this was not normal.

"I-I… Admire you Deku. You're always able to prove yourself to everyone, and you always exceed everyone's expectations about you."

She paused for a moment.

"This event made me realize that our lives have a timer that we need to start worrying about this early in life. So I feel like you deserve to know this, and I promise I'll tell you when you wake up. Our lives are too short for me to dance around these feelings I have… for you."

His head was going crazy. Luckily, Ochako didn't notice his heart monitor spike significantly. She took in a deep breath.

"I love you, Deku. I really love you. I wish I could just sneak into your dorm every night and cuddle with you."

His heart was going to explode.

'Cuddling with Ochako… Sounds really nice.'

"I think you're amazing because you're so selfless, and brave, and funny, and cute, and hot…"

'As if I don't think the same things about you !'

"And… Even though everyone jokes around about us liking each other, I've always been afraid that you don't love me back… And you probably deserve someone better anyways."

Alright, he could handle this anymore. He quickly wrapped his hands around her waist and back and pulled her on top of him. She gasped during the movement. He kept one arm around her waist and buried the other one in her hair.

He quickly moved his head forward and connected their lips. Her eyes widened as her mind started racing. The kiss felt very good for both of them.

Eventually, he pulled away from the kiss, and pulled Ochako into a hug.

"Y-you don't have to be afraid, Uraraka. I-I love you too. I really, really love you."

She let out a very long exhale in relief, before she melted into the hug. She wrapped her arms around him and made sure most of their bodies were touching each other.

The nurse knocked on the door.

Ochako blushed and raised her head up.

"One second!"

They both had separate car rides home from their parents. They were driven to the UA dorms and used the opportunity to talk with their parents. As much as they wanted to see their parents and talk to them, they both wanted something else.

When they arrived at the dorms, they were both asked tons of different questions. By the time they were done, it was already time for curfew. It seems everything was trying to get them away from each other.

Izuku pulled out his phone and texted her.

"I'm coming to your room, if you're fine with that."

She responded "Ok."

He knocked on the door, and heard a faint "Deku?"

He opened the door and saw Ochako standing just in front of her bed. She was wearing PJ's.

'She's so cute! And… hot.' He thought as he looked at her and he shut the door behind him. He looked into her eyes and he could see what she was feeling. She wanted warmth. She wanted him to be with her.

For a couple seconds, the two just stood there while staring into each other. The room was dark, with a single night light on in the corner.

His urges finally got to him as he tackled her and they both landed in her bed. He started kissing her. She kissed back. They hugged each other tightly. For a minute or two, they kept their lips locked.

They finally broke away and just hugged each other while regaining their breath. They both laid sideways while facing each other. Ochako had her face buried into his chest, and she had both of her arms going around his upper back. He had one arm around her waist, and the other was gently stroking her hair. His head was resting above hers.

"I love you, Ochako."

"I love you too, Izuku."

They both fell asleep. They never needed to ask the other if they were dating. They both knew the answer. They also already knew about romance and heroics. Aizawa spent a bit of time teaching the class about it, and when a couple cooperated well, heroes could have a relationship.

Izuku shortly after told Ochako about One-For-All, and she accepted his destiny and she would do whatever to help him.

He promised that he'd be able to help with her dream because he'd just have to help with her parents retirement.

He became the Number 1 hero, and completely eradicated all traces of the quirk: All-For-One.

She became the rescue hero who inspired young girls to follow their dreams.

They both became parents.
