Hello Shaniverse fans! This is an important announcement regarding the future of the Shaniverse, which some of you who have been following it very closely will likely know about. Starting on October 11, 2021 I will begin serving as a Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and I'm expecting to serve a full two-year mission. As such, the Shaniverse will undergo a two-year long HIATUS, which would be expected to conclude when I return in late 2023. I know many of you may be disappointed about this news, but there are still several things which you all can look forward to during my absence:
Within the past month or so I decided to enlist a few fellow authors/fans into a "Shaniverse Story Group" that helps to keep continuity and also maintain the Shaniverse as a whole while I'm gone. As such, I have since leased the story "Rylla's Bounty" to FanFiction author Parapudi, who will continue writing and publishing it on her own FanFiction page. I'm hopeful that you will be able to enjoy this Shaniverse Anthology story whilst the "Legacy of Jarik Shan" is placed on pause. And for those who are interested, Parapudi is also writing a series of her own called the "Caz Solus Chronicles," featuring her own original character, Matukai Apprentice Caz Solus, as he navigates through the Clone Wars.
In the spirit of alternate timelines, I have also commissioned the Shaniverse Story Group with the authorship and publication of "What if?," which is set to release on the Shaniverse Wiki. The anthology features a wide and vast range of possibilities and twists within the Shaniverse, promising to be faithful to the source material, while being utterly and totally unique in premise.
Lastly, I just want to say that I am very grateful for your continued support of the series thus far, as I never could've expected or imagined to become this popular when I first began 3 years ago. I hope to resume writing as soon as possible following the conclusion of my Mission. Thank you all, and I hope to see you then!
