Everyone is seated as waiting for the Doctor to play the screen, he turns to the audience, "Today you'll be exploring an alternate Remnant, a world without Grimm but attain something mysterious in nature itself..."
This puts everyone in interest. Ozpin was aware the Grimm were originally made by the God of Darkness but when the Doctor mentions this alternate world has no Grimm but has something else puts him in interest.
The rest of the adults were also intrigued but to deep down like Ozpin, they'd manage the world will be peaceful than ever, but they are aware that it won't last long due to humans and faunus still fight each other.
The students were interested to hear that no Grimm, this means no huntsmen and huntresses. They are also curious to what they do on this alternate world that the doctor mentioned.
With that thought, the screen plays showing the bright light.
The screen blares up showcasing a footage redacted with strips of white of images with information that's too hard to read.
Later on the news said that ships are reported missing from both regions and others news declaring war.
This puts the adults to focus on the screen along with a few students, "These news show that ships are missing on Remnant." Ironwood said.
"And yet he said that no Grimm exist here." Ozpin added.
"So, it has to be criminals or terrorists?" Glynda asked.
"I think we better just watch let this film explain." Qrow replied.
Then the footage shows news of a discovery of an unknown creature, as the other video shows giant spikes raised from the water.
This shocked everyone when they see the giant spikes.
"What is that!" Weiss gasped.
"That is one of the mysteries." Doctor Mobius explained.
"Is this suppose to be a creature!?" Ironwood exclaimed.
"That may seems..." The doctor anomalous replied.
"So that thing was responsible of the missing boats?" Jaune asked.
The Doctor nodded and everyone cannot believed this, in this alternate world a small witness they see is a giant creature that is as big as the few large Grimm they've seen.
"So how is this world going to act?" Ozpin curiously thought and worried since, the creature could a be a potential threat due to the missing boats.
The next scene shows more technology being used and the men are preparing something as well the giant spikes continue swimming.
Then the scene changes to the military personnel slipping on protective eye-wear as they watch while the next shot shows a giant bomb with a symbol of a monster with a red cross is settled.
"Is that a bomb?" Blake pointed out the bomb set on the beach.
"Are they trying to take this creature down?" Ruby asks.
"I think they are." Pyrrha replied.
"What type of bomb is that?" Weiss asked.
"You'll see..." Doctor Mobius said.
"10, 9, 8..." The countdown begins as the creature goes closer...
"7, 6..." People watch as the creature gets even more closer
"5, 4..." Bullheads are flying away from the beach sites as the bomb remains.
"3, 2..." Then the creature rose up out of the water and before it fully rose.
"1." The countdown was finished and a big explosion swallowed it, then multiple footages showed multiple explosions similar to this, before going back the previous one as the explosion continued and the seismic shockwaves and cloud consumed the shore showing the ash falling and white smoke.
Everyone was shocked again, they have never seen this destruction before.
"That was..." Jaune was about to speak.
"Destructive?" Nora finished as she was also surprised.
"What kind of weapon is this?" Pyrrha asked in fear.
"That's the power of a nuclear bomb called 'Castle Bravo'." Doctor commented.
"Nuclear?" Ozpin wondered by that.
"It's an energy that give such great power to electricity and weapons such as this bomb." The Doctor explained.
"So it's like Dust but it's super powerful?" Ruby assumed.
"Indeed, Miss Rose." The Doctor approved, "They have the mineral called Uranium that contains these nuclear energy. However the Nuclear itself is hazardous and people have to wear protective gear." He detailed.
"So a hazardous type of dust." Yang responded.
"Correct again." The Doctor replied.
All while revealing the: 'Godzilla'.
"God-zilla?" Blake spoke out the title.
To others it sound intimating and scary.
"Is Godzilla the creature we see?" Ren asked.
"But that creature got blown up right?" Nora questioned.
The Doctor remained quiet before speaking out. "That will remain to be seemed."
Then the scene was over as it shows a different landscape as a bullhead flies above the forest. A close up shows the Bullhead had a unique symbol on the side while also has the title: 'Monarch', then a message shows on screen: 'Mistral, 1999' indicating the location and timescale.
"Monarch?" Ironwood wondered by that title.
"Mistral?" Pyrrha was also curious as well.
"And in the old times?" Qrow was puzzled by that.
Everyone was wondering by that and what does this show them.
Inside the Bullhead is Ozpin himself dressed as an archaeologist, he stares at the pocket watch while beside him is Xanthe Rumpole.
"Huh?" Qrow mumbled. "It's you Oz."
"And Xanthe Rumpole as well." Glynda added.
"Who is she?" Yang asked.
"Well Miss Xiao Long, Xanthe Rumpole is a professor in Shade Academy." Ozpin explain.
"You mean from Vacuo?" Pyrrha asked.
"Indeed." Ozpin replied. "Now it seems me and her are there for a reason..."
She then turns to see a huge mining deposit, that is filled with many people and faunus.
Everyone was surprised to see a mine site as well Blake felt grimaced by the faunus slavery in the mines.
The bullhead flew below and made a landing on the bottom, the two got off quickly as they were introduced by a man who arrived there.
"Dr Ozpin?" The man asked as he shook hands with Ozpin, "Jerry Boyd. I'm warning you, it's a mess. It's just a total mess." He leads them as he continues, "Monarch sent me in this morning. Took a look around, but I told them we needed you." While Xanthe took a pause to look around before following them.
"Dr Ozpin?" Ruby commented.
"Perhaps an archaeologist?" Pyrrha wondered.
"He said that there was a total mess at the mines." Blake replied with a hint of sadness on her look.
"But what was the accident that needed Dr Ozpin and Rumpole for?" Ren mentioned.
The Bullhead previously is now flying above the mining site while the scenes pans of the faunus digging along with people and then to Jerry and Ozpin, "They picked up a radiation pocket out here last month." Jerry explained.
"I assume the radiation is the Nuclear energy?" Jaune asked.
"Yes, Mr Arc." The Doctor corrected. "The radiation is what caused such dangerous hazard to these people that were affected by that."
"That sounds extremely dangerous, especially how it's been used." Weiss said.
"Well, Nuclear is one of the powerful sources, better than Dust in this world." The Doctor replied.
He continues, "They got excited, thinking they had a uranium deposit. "They started stacking up
the heavy machinery and then... Well, the valley floor... collapsed into a cavern below. Just dropped away. Just gone." He walked up to show the Ozpin and Xanthe the collapse as which is a giant gaping sinkhole as the machinery nearby fell apart by it.
"Best guess right now is about 40 miners went down with it." Jerry tells about the casualties.
"By the gods..." Glynda gasped by the sinkhole.
"And 40 miners were missing in there." Ironwood replied with a hint of guilt by those people.
Ruby felt sadness by these people that died, Yang comforts her while Blake looks down remembering there are accident at the Dust mines, the rest are also felt bad about the casualties. Weiss sees these collapse wondering about these mines and how Blake said that Faunus labour took place in these mines. She now thought about what to do if she were head of the SDC.
The next scene shows a dark tunnel with Jerry, Ozpin and Xanthe along with other people wearing a hazmat suit, "This way." He said, as they continue further in the tunnel as the area gets bigger, "When they first discovered this pocket, the radiation levels were only half as strong. It's almost as if contact with the outside air... started catalyzing something." He explains about the aftermath of the incident.
Ozpin took a step forward as he shines a light above as camera flashes showing a huge white shaped curve looking bone structure.
"Some kind of fossils, right?" Jerry asked. "I've been digging holes for 30 years, I've never seen anything like it." He walks further somewhere while Xanthe comes down as well as lights brighten up showing a huge skeleton that made the people in there look like ants.
"Wow..." Qrow replied as he pulls out his flask. "Now this needs to clear out of my head."
"That skeleton is massive!" Ruby exclaimed.
"By that estimate length it could be around 550 feet." Penny analysed.
Yang turned to Penny surprised, "How did you know this?" She asked.
"I simply analysed it." Penny replied, making Yang super confused before Ruby step in. "She's just very good at calculating things!" She said.
"By the Gods..." She whispered, "Is it possible? Is it him?"
"No." Ozpin replied. "This was much older..."
"Him?" Weiss was puzzled by that.
"Older?" Blake added.
"What is he talking about?" Yang puzzled.
Glynda turns to Ozpin, "What are you saying like that?" She asked as Ozpin remained quiet as he too was curiously of his alternate self said 'him'.
"Hey, guys." Jerry called out which the two noticed. "You gotta see this."
A man takes a camera shot, in which Ozpin and Xanthe walk up the rocky terrain as the twitching noise can be heard as it gets louder, indicating the radiation is getting higher. They see a giant black thing hanging on the rib bones.
"What is it?" Xanthe asked.
"What's that!?" Yang perplexed with disgust.
"Whatever it is, it got attached at the skeleton." Pyrrha said.
"Eww..." Ruby disgusted.
"Is it responsible of the death of the creature?" Ren asked.
"Some kind of egg? A dormant spore?" She guessed as Ozpin remains surprised by it as he looks around the spore as it goes further attached to the bones of this giant dead beast.
"The bones are fossilized... but this formation seems to be perfectly preserved." Xanthe analysed the spore.
"This one looks broken." Jerry informed the two. "It's like something... came out of it."
"What?" All the students blurted out.
"Something came out..." Glynda said.
"And yet the other one remains." Ironwood pointed out. "So it might be another creature."
"A different one perhaps." Penny suggest.
"I swear I can tell this alternate Remnant got without the Grimm for better or worse." Qrow commented.
Just then a Bullhead is heard from a distance, as Ozpin walks forward as a light blares at his face, echo shouting is heard as Ozpin prevents the light covering up his face, it reveals a giant hole that leads up the surface.
A Bullhead flies above as the holes lead a giant path of the ground disrupted as dirt and broken trees are everywhere as it ends into the coastline.
"It escaped..." Jaune said.
"It went into the coastline." Pyrrha informed.
"But where to?" Ruby asked.
The next scene will show where as the screen plays out.
The next scene shows a different location landscape of a full fledged city as the message tells of the location: 'Kuchinashi, Mistral'.
"Kuchinashi?" Qrow raised his eyebrow.
"It looked a lot different." Ironwood said, once was village now in this world it is a city.
"Once again, the Doctor did say this world has no Grimm, so this is shows they expanded the village." Ozpin replied.
The next shot is a bedroom as only the feet were shown walking through the floor with toys. Then there's something on the floor, a sign as a hand was shown to pick the sign.
Then a ringing sound is heard, as a voice calls out; "I'll get it. It's probably for me." As it continues the young person drags the sign that reveals to be a 'Happy Birthday'.
Everyone was curious to see who this person was as for Ren, he heard the voice and had a feeling to who the voice is.
Then the ringing stops indicating that the one who calls out, manages to get the call. He then speaks a different language, before saying back to English, "No, Takashi." Then the young person was revealed to be a young version of Lie Ren.
"Ren, it's you!" Nora exclaimed.
Ren was surprised to see this and being here confirms it...
"No. Takashi, just listen to me for a second." The voice continues as young Ren slowly walks forward, "I'm asking for the meeting because if I have to shut the reactor down... You're not gonna want to read about it in a memo. I've been following these tremors since they started in the Mistral... and now they're in our own backyard." Ren then sneaks his head out of the room to see Li Ren talking from the phone.
Everyone sees Ren's father along with Ren still shocked by this. Nora smiles at Ren remembering the past times.
"Is that your dad Ren?" Jaune asked.
"Yes..." Ren replied.
"He seemed to be busy..." Pyrrha comment.
Ren hadn't spoke, sure he sees his dad is busy calling due to maybe at work but it's still a moment to gaze at the scene.
"No, no, no. Hayato says... I need to go through you about this." Li Ren turns around which Ren hides his head away while his father continues talking, "Look, I'm just... trying to follow the protocols set forth by the company. That's all. It's my job."
Just then, a woman arrived which Ren turns to see his mother 'An Ren'.
"Oh, is that your mom?" Ruby asks.
Ren still shocked by that with that Nora had to speak out, "Yeah, she's Ren's mother." She said.
"She looks nice." Ruby smiled.
Ren had to smile back, this is crazy for him but it makes sense, no Grimm then there was no moment of the loss of his parents. All he could is smile for his alternate self to living happily.
"He's awake." Ren whispered.
"Oh, I know. He got up early." An whispered back.
"What are we gonna do?" Ren asked.
An takes a sigh, "Get dressed. I'll figure it out." She replied. "Okay?"
"Okay." Ren replied back as he walked to his room.
"Huh, your father is pretty busy for something?" Yang wondered.
"I also wonder as well." Ren said.
"Hey Doc!" Nora spoke out the attention of the Cosmic Entity. "Who is Ren's father working for?"
"Well..." The Doctor nodded, "Li Ren is a worker of a nuclear power plant, that's all I gotta say..."
Everyone thoughted of what's like working in the Nuclear Plant due to never seen or how it works, all they heard is how powerful it is.
The next scene shows Ren walking out of the house now changed along with his mother behind him.
"Later, Dad." Ren waved which Li waved back but he was busy talking to the phone.
"With all due respect, Takashi, and honor..." Li continued talking while opening the car door but was locked, "Respect and honor, with all of that..." He turns to An who pulls out the car keys and unlocks it which he can continue talking, "I'm an engineer. I don't like unexplained frequency patterning... near a plant where I'm responsible. I need a meeting. Make it happen."
The two got in the car, as Li says something before finishing the call as An waves to Ren who was waving out as he was about to head to the bus, before she turns back to Li.
"He made you a sign." An said as she gave Li the id badge.
"What?" Li was confused.
"Your Birthday Sign." An explained as Li's eye was widened by that. "He worked so hard."
"Oh my goodness..." Li felt regret by not noticing it as the bus headed off.
Everyone is having warm moment towards the family.
Ren however smiles from this, it may seems that his dad focus much work but his dad realises and regrets of not spending moments with the alternate younger version of himself. He can't still help it but smile for his father.
"I'm gonna come home early. I'll take the car and pick him up... and we can get a proper cake. Okay?" An suggests.
Li sighs and places his hand on her shoulder, "Listen, I need to know... that it's not the sensors. Okay? I can't be calling this meeting and look like a maniac." He said. "So when we get there... don't even bother coming up. Just grab a team and go down to Level 5."
"You're not a maniac. I mean, you are, just not about this." An tries to support her husband as they put their seatbelts on.
"Heh, great support." Qrow chuckled by An's response.
"Must be something we're not thinking of." Li said.
An turns around with a smile. "Happy birthday."
Li now realised again. "What? Is it...?"
"Yes, it is." An chuckled and kissed Li.
"Oh, I forgot all about it." Li replied
"Happy birthday." An said it again.
"Thank you. I should have a birthday more often." Li chuckles as the car drives out while there's a power plant nearby.
"Yeah, who doesn't like birthdays?" Ruby said.
This made rest of Team RWBY and JNPR look at her, remembering during the time it was Ruby's birthday. It was gruesome but thankfully Yang manage to put an end of this.
The screen changes to the power plant as Li was looking at the papers, "What is this?" He said.
"Seismic anomaly." The man explained as he pointed at the paper. "This graph is minutes. X is minutes, not days. This is now."
"Wait, hold on. Seismic activity? Seismic? You're talking about earthquakes?" The other man asked who dressed similar to Li.
"No, earthquakes are random, jagged. This is consistent, increasing. This is a pattern." Li denied and explained.
"This does seem confusing..." Penny said.
"It may be the creature." Ironwood suggest.
"We did seen that thing, moved into the coastline perhaps it went here?" Jaune agrees the General with a hint of nervous since he was mentioning the General.
"That maybe a interesting, but we may have to see if it's confirm." Ozpin replied.
The next shot shows An wearing the suit along with other members, "All right. Let's make this quick." She said as she put on the mask as the alarm blared before the door opened allowing her and the crew to enter in.
"So that is the suits that protect them?" Blake asked the Doctor.
"Depends, it can't handle stronger concentration of radiation." The Entity shrugged.
"Well they are going to fix the problem." Pyrrha replied.
Back Li who enters in a control room, "Takashi. What the hell is going on?" He questioned, "Have you seen this?" He showed the paper to the man who is 'Takashi'.
"Yeah. Maybe not such... good time for a meeting." Takashi replied as both looked at the computer of what seemed to be the seismic anomaly.
"That looks extremely off put compare to an random earthquake." Penny stated.
"It looks different..." Ruby replied.
"Are you sure this not the first time you've seen seismic activity?" Weiss questioned,
"Well it still look uncommon." Ruby said.
"Fair enough." Weiss accepts her reply.
"What's the source? Where's the epicenter?" Li asked.
"We don't know. But it keeps getting stronger." Takashi replied.
"It's gotta be centered somewhere." Li said as he turned to the other researcher. "Hayato."
The researcher reported. "No one else is reporting it. We are contacting every other plant in the Mistral Region. They're unaffected."
"What does this mean about warning the plants?" Yang asked.
"Well since earthquakes occur, it can cause massive damage to larger lands and Mistral has other nuclear plants." The Doctor explained.
"And since it's dangerous, a single breakdown can render land abandoned due to radiation?" Weiss assumed.
"Indeed." The Doctor replied.
"Well, even that the other plants remain fine." Ozpin stated.
"But my guess is these readings are just aftershocks from the Mistral earthquake." He assumed.
"Are we at full function?" Li asked.
"Yes, we are." Takashi answered. "But perhaps we should be drawing down, to be safe."
Suddenly this place was shaking, the whole room itself as the computers glitched out.
This made everyone jumped by surprise.
"That's how the earthquake felt?" Jaune exclaimed.
"We've heard of such earthquakes but never this scale before." Penny was worried by this analyse.
"It seems it's getting worse like the analyse from before." Blake said.
"Take us offline." Li ordered.
"Now Li..." The man replied.
"Do it!" Li demanded. "Now. Wind it down."
He speaks a foreign language before reaching out the walkie talkie, "An. An, are you there?" He asked as soon as he said it, the shakes appeared again.
An notices the seismic quakes and orders the crew, "We're turning back. Let's go." She then sees the corridor leaked out gas. "By the Gods..." She said before following up the crew who were leaving.
"Oh no..." Nora worried for Ren's mother as well as Ren who has slight widen eyes by this.
"They need to get out of here!" Ruby exclaimed.
"Li, are you there?" She calls out which Li picks the talkie to listen to, "Li, there's been a breach. We're heading back to the containment seal." She said.
"Listen An. You need to get out of there." Li ordered. "Run, there's been a reactor breach, you won't last five minutes... with or without the suits. Do you hear me?"
"I hear you. We're coming!" An replied as the gas kept going.
Just then the seismic has gotten worse, windows shattered as the debris from the ceiling fell off and lights were shut down into emergency mode.
"It's getting more worse." Pyrrha feared for the people in there.
"At soon they have to evacuate." Weiss suggest.
"But what about the radiation?" Ruby worried.
"Not to worry Miss Rose." The Doctor assured. "They have shutdowns to prevent contamination from the radiation."
"But now, it's the matter of time before everyone can evacuate." Ironwood replied.
Li said to Takashi, "I'll meet them there myself. Put the safety doors on manual override." He demanded.
"No, I cannot do that!" Takashi replied.
"Keep the doors open. My wife is still in there!" Li shouted as he ran towards the doors.
An and the crew are still running as the gas is still going, "Come on, let's go!" She yelled.
"Hurry!" Ruby fretted.
Everyone worried for the crew especially Ren and Nora the most.
Li managed to get to the door as he waited for An and the crew to arrive, he pressed the coms button "Tell me this door's... on manual." He questioned.
"Yes, but we are starting to breach!" Takashi replied.
"I'm right here." Li reported, "As soon as they're through, I'll seal it." He pulls out the coms to talk to An. "An, can you... hear me? I'm at the door." No response as he calls again, "An? An, I'm waiting for you."
"I'm at the checkpoint." Li calls out, as An is still on the run. "But you have to run as fast as you can."
"I am!" An replied back, then another rumble occurred knocking her and one of the crew members as the gas got closer.
"Oh no!" Ruby gasped.
"No..." Ren cannot believed this is happening, Nora can do is just stare and see Ren's state.
An tries to help a down crew member, "We need to go!" She then looks up as the gases come closer and she realizes" that they cannot get out.
Back Li while Takashi shouted from coms in foreign language but Li retorted back until Takashi said in English, "Li! Close the door! Seal the corridor or the whole city will be exposed." However Li didn't respond and kept calling to An.
"An?" He said.
"Li?" An responded. "Li, can you hear me? Are you there?"
"Yes." Li replied,
"An, I'm here. Can you hear me?" He asked.
"Yeah..." She replied but decided to say it, "Li, it's too late. We're not coming." She said.
"It's late for them..." Ironwood looked down, felt sorry for An and the crew.
"Li has to make a hard choice when preventing the leak." Ozpin grimaces.
The students felt down and sadden by this, Ren and Nora can't believe this even a world without Grimm there are incidents that can be worse. And some can understand the hardest choices and losses, especially for Ruby, Yang, Qrow, Ren, Nora, James, Glynda and Ozpin.
Li tried to deny it, "No, don't say that! Don't you say that! Run as hard as you can, honey." He desperately replied as he stared at the corridor and still no sign of her and the crew.
An's breathing is heard, "Li, you have to close the door. You have to live for our son." She ordered.
Just then rumbling occurs again and Li sees the gas is coming straight towards the door.
"Oh gods..." Li muttered as Takasihi called out, "Li, seal the door! Now!" He shouted.
"Five seconds! Four seconds!" Takashi reported as the gas came closer. With that Li screams out as he presses the button, which the door was closed down before the gas reaches it.
Ren felt sadness for his father and himself, having to lost her is a huge impact for him. Nora gave a concern look to Ren and Ruby and Yang acknowledges this loss of a mother and Qrow glances down remembering the time Summer was lost.
Everyone else sympathise Li Ren's choice and what setbacks it draws.
Li cries out as he turns to see that the crew were at the door begging to let out.
"I'm sorry..." Li murmured out while tears ran on his face, he saw An out of the window who is also in tears as well.
She takes off the mask, knowing that she is either gonna get killed by the gas with or without the suit before saying, "Take care of Ford. Be a good father."
"I will..." Li replied.
"We didn't make it..." An's last words are heard as the other set of doors closed down, blocking the window leaving Li Ren in tears.
"She didn't..." Qrow murmured.
Jaune and Pyrrha sees Ren with concern, "You okay?" He asked to his teammate.
Ren turns to Jaune, "I'm... fine." He said.
Nora support Ren, knowing that she was here and also have no parents, "He'll be fine, just needed some time."
Pyrrha nodded, "In case, we're here with you." Nora smile and nodded back.
More rumbling happens again but with a strange sound that sounds unusual then an earthquake as Li looks around.
Outside the power plant is falling apart as staff members run away from the destruction. Then at school when the teacher shows the television, the screen immediately shuts down as alarms ring out while teach callouts the evacuation as Ren was there in the class as he looks at the window seeing the plant is destroyed. His face looks shocked when releasing his parents work there. The screen turns black.
Everyone now witness a disaster of Nuclear Power Plant. They were shocked of the destruction and the loss of people that may died there.
They see this alternate world still remains such accidents and they wondered many questions: How did this happen? What was the moment of the creature means? What is Monarch? They hoped to see more later on this film of alternate reality.
The screen shows the opening hatch of an aircraft as the text is shown: '15 Years Later'. As well revealing an adult grown Ren wearing Atlas military outfit.
"15 years have passed." Ironwood said and sees the adult version of Ren. "And it seems you work in the Atlas Military."
Nora smiled and decides to comfort him, "Look Ren! You get become a soldier!" She gleamed.
Ren looks at Nora and her encouragement made him smile, it's great to see her beaming self to help to what he is. "Yeah, guess I am."
"That's gotta be cool for you Ren." Jaune complimented as Pyrrha nodded in acknowledgement as Ren smiles to them.
"Due to no Huntsmen and Huntresses, I can see the Military still be reasonable." Ozpin replied.
"On your feet!" The commander calls out which the soldiers got and packing their stuff.
Ren does the same while the other soldier turns to him, "You got family waiting for you?" He asked.
"I hope so." Ren replied.
"How long you been away?" He asked again.
"Fourteen months." Ren replied again.
"Take it slow." He advised as he carries his pack, "It's the one thing they don't train you for." He turns and leaves. "All right! Let's go!" He ordered his men.
"Good words." Ironwood approved. "It's best to take these slows since times like this."
"Yeah, I can get along." Qrow smirked.
"He does have a family!" Ruby gushed.
"I wonder who tho?" Yang thought.
The scene shows a city which the text shows: 'Vale' which tells the location.
"I can't tell you." A voice is called out.
"Can I see it?" Ren asked with a curious tone.
"Don't let him see." Another voice is heard but it's very familiar.
"Wait a minute..." All the students recognise the familiar voice.
Then it reveals Nora Valkyrie, showing Ren the cake that said 'Welcome Home'. "Oh my gods..." Ren replied.
"It's a welcome home cake." Nora said.
"Look at that." Ren complimented.
"Nora!?" Everyone exclaimed.
Nora sees this and blushes by this realising that she is Ren's family.
"Well congrats to you to Mr Ren and Miss Valkyrie." Ozpin congrats which made Nora blushes even more.
"I..." Nora stutters in embarrassment as well as Ren who also blush, they have been together for a long time, but never thought of this.
The next scene shows a child who looks like Ren but has eyes as Nora, "That's you. And that's me." He pointed at the sign.
"Aww, your child looks cute!" Yang beams at Ren and Nora's child to which the two blushed.
"Yeah, what did they named him?" Ruby wondered.
"In case you are wondering..." Doctor Mobius called out the two, "His name is Ling Ren or Ling Valkyrie, depending which surname you use..." The two still blushed but can't help but smile by the scene.
"What's it say?" Ren asked.
"Welcome home, Daddy." The child said.
"Daddy's home." Ren replied.
"Yeah Daddy's home." Nora smiled.
"Cake every night." Ren added.
"Yeah, that's not happening." Nora chuckled
"Daddy's home equals... cake every night." Ren jokes, while Nora noticed from the kid's face.
"How did you manage to get chocolate on your eyeball?" She asked.
"Daddy did it." He pointed at Ren who made a shocking face while Nora laughed.
"I see Ling has some part of yourself Nora." Ren commented, remembering the time Nora was hungry during the mission and technically blamed on him.
"Yeah, I could see some resemblance." Pyrrha smiled.
"Yeah..." Nora slightly chuckles by that.
Next scene is where Ren is with his son at bed, "I can't sleep with you... making all this noise." He tickles Ling who laughs.
"Come on, let's get you into bed." Ren tucked Ling to bed, before giving a kiss on the forehead. "Okay, big man. Time to hit the rack."
As he leaves, Ling calls out, "Dad?" Ren turns around. "Yeah?"
"Are you still gonna be here tomorrow?" Ling asked.
"Yeah." Ren replied. "Come on, let's get some sleep." He closes the light as he leaves.
The scene was pretty wholesome to people, as it was typical family moment.
Next shot is Ren and Nora having a drink while Nora laughs at Ren as he speaks, "Turns around, nose-to-nose, he says, "At ease, lieutenant." Nora laughs from it as Ren replies. "I missed your laugh."
"I missed you." Nora smiled.
Ren and Nora then kissed together on the couch for a while.
"Well I never see you too act so romantic before, are you together?" Yang asked.
"Well, we're together!" Nora replied before nervously laughing. "Well, not together-together..."
Then a phone rings, "I should get that." Nora said but Ren still kisses her, "No, it could be work." She explained as she gets off the couch
"I need to get that." Nora replied.
"You don't need to. Come on." Ren tries to convinced but Nora reaches for the phone.
"Woah, Ren! Never see that type of person are you?" Yang commented.
Ren blushes and Nora as well. They never felt so blushed during this, Pyrrha smiles for them and even wondering to have the relationship with Jaune be similar... Only time will tell.
"Hello?" Nora called out. "Yeah, this is Mrs. Valkyrie."
"Tell him you're busy tending to your husband's needs." Ren suggests as he walks off but Nora slightly pushes him off while remaining a smirk as the call resumes.
"Yeah, he's my husband." Nora replied.
"Tell them we're not gonna buy it." Ren commented but Nora's expression changed.
"Yes, sir. Could you just hold on one moment?" Nora asks as she holds down the phone while Ren returns back from the kitchen.
"It's the consulate." Nora explained. "Li's been arrested in Mistral."
"What?" Students perked up even Ren.
"What did Li manage to do?" Ironwood wondered what did Li committed to.
Scene changes as Ren opens up the drawer to find some clothes, "Nora, I can't find my pants." He said.
"They're in the other drawer." Nora replied as Ren walked to the drawer. "So why was he trespassing in the quarantine zone?" She wondered.
"Why do you think?" Ren huffed. "The Ione crusader for the truth. All his crackpot cuckoo theories." As he packs up.
"Quarantine Zone?" Ruby puzzled by that.
"These are areas that are locked down due to contamination." Doctor explained.
"Then why is he going to a contaminated are?" Weiss seemed suspicious by Ren's father going there.
"That does sound crazy as if he wanted to go into Mountain Glenn by himself with no protection." Blake said.
"And due to the radiation we learnt of this nuclear energy." Penny stated.
"I thought Ren's dad sealed it?" Yang puzzled.
"Probably better to evacuate anyway." Pyrrha replied.
"Well Mister Ren did mention his father mention theories that are way off the charts." Ozpin said.
"Although what theories that Li said..." Glynda questioned.
"I guess, that kid needs to speak the old man for answers." Qrow commented.
"Your father is a good man. He just needs your help right now." Nora suggests as Ren sighed. "Ren, he's lost everything."
"Yeah, so did I. But you know what? I got over it." Ren remarked.
Ren felt sadden by his mother's death, he is glad his alternate doesn't mourn too much of the past, but can't say for his dad due to he has seen directly he lost his wife.
A few people understood of leaving behind the past epically to nearly everyone form losing a close one or terrible memories.
"Right. I can see that." Nora said.
Ren realises his behaviour, "I'm sorry. It's just... Every time I let him in close, he always tries to drag me back. And I can't. I can't put our family through that." He reasoned his frustration.
"Well, he is your family." Nora pointed out as Ren felt down by it.
"Yeah, and we family support each other!" Nora exclaimed.
Ren smiled by that as the other students smiled and agree, the adults also smile as for Penny wondered about family especially when she got friends.
"Hey. Come here." She comforts him, "You know you're only gonna be gone for a few days, right? And then you are gonna come back to me." She stated.
"Yeah..." Ren agreed, the two comforted each other with another kiss and later a hug.
"It's not the end of the world." Nora commented.
"Why I have a feeling this saying is going to bite us in the back..." Qrow mumbled.
"Yeah... Nora I felt this going to be the opposite of that." Yang said.
"Yeah, I also felt it myself." Nora replied.
The rest sees something crazy that just happen, the creature that got blown up by the first time they've seen a nuclear weapon, the enormous skeleton in Mistral underground, the Nuclear Power Plant destruction, Ren's parents and more. This is a insane start of this alternate reality...
