Lost Arc 10

As the light again faded and sight returned to the band, they immediately noticed that they were once again on the bridge of a ship. However instead of the technologically advanced air warship of the Atlassian Air Fleet, this time they were on a more mundane vessel floating at a simple pier connecting to a sandy beach. The vessel appeared to be primarily made of wood panelling over a more durable frame. The front of the large bridge dominated by massive windows giving off a spectacular view of the beachy paradise, while just before them was a long console stretching the width of the bridge and covered in screen, buttons, levers and corded scrolls. The back of the bridge was split in half, the port side held what appeared to be a CCT remote tie in, while the starboard side had a large flat table covered in paper charts and the deckhead mounted monitors displaying the digital equivalent.

"Well, at least this universe should be a little familiar, going on the technology here." stated Weiss as she walked over to scroll charging station and plugged her scroll in. Most of the teens were going around the bridge looking at all the equipment and trying to figure out what did what. Luckily, Ren spotted the broadside and foredeck cannon controls and steered Nora elsewhere.

Blake however was solely focused on the view outside of the windows.

"This is Menagerie…" said Blake, loud enough to get everyone's attention. "This is one of the overflow piers, 5 miles down the coast from Kuo Kuana."

"So, this is your home. Man, this is nice. Definitely a place to strut around in my bikini." said Yang, stretching here arms above her head and pushing her chest out. She then realised that the only men here to tease where either, immortal and immune, her uncle, a guy younger than Ruby, and Ren, who belonged to Nora, who was now glaring at her and puffing out her own well-developed cleavage as if in challenge.

"That fell a little flat Yang." said Weiss as she walked past her to stand with Blake and Ruby as they and everyone else moved to the windows.

"Oh great, even you're throwing puns now. I can't even strike back since your chest is catching up now." huffed Yang. Weiss just smirked as she looked out over the admittedly beautiful island landscape. She was secretly very pleased that her body was developing more and bearing a much more feminine figure.

"Well, cleavage aside…" said Jaune, catching everyone's attention as he stood in the centre of the large bridge. "…allow me to present the `Karafuruna Umi`. One of the few remaining transport vessels left to Remnant. This fine vessel has sailed the seas of Remnant for nearly 40 years now and should be very familiar to one of you." finished Jaune as he bowed his head slightly at Blake.

"That was the name of the vessel I sailed on after the Battle of Beacon. I didn't really learn much about the ship though while I was on it. I ahhh…was a little busy brooding and feeling sorry for myself."

"Well that's all in the past now Blake. Don't dwell on it. You are with us again…" Ruby then jumped wide eyed, making Blake jump too. "…oh! Is Jaune a sailor in this universe?!" shouted Ruby.

"Nope. This is actually a universal branch we've already visited. Just around 6 months on."

That got everyone thinking for a moment.

"We've only visited one universe so far that was similar to Remnant…" started Ozma before he was interrupted.

"Oh my Oum! Mute hunk Jaune universe..!" shouted Yang as everyone else sighed or facepalmed at Yangs` system of universe registration. "…what?"

All the various screens on the bridge then came to life. All displayed the same thing, however everyone gathered around the largest screen that dominated the centre of the massive forward console.

/

Jaune was kneeling on the foredeck of the `Karafuruna Umi`. His form enveloped in a luminescent white glow that seemed to overpower the sun beating down upon him. Around him were dozens of different tools, objects, and bits of rubbish. Anything that he could find on his many walks around the vessel on its 7-day trip from Anima to Menagerie. These objects were floating around him in intricate orbits as he trained his aura and semblance and each item also glowing white slightly. Until he had reunited with Pyrrha and she commented on how his command of objects imbued with his aura appeared similar to how she controlled metal with her polarity, he hadn't tried to control multiple items. His sword and shield had always been enough. However, now with the help of his partner, and that thought made him smile, he had stretched his abilities in a new direction that he had not considered.

He created a field of his aura around himself. Used it to sense the objects around him. Guided his aura into those objects and through his aura, controlled them. It was very aura intensive and mentally taxing, but his aura field, based on the diagrams Pyrrha had shown him of magnetic fields, had gifted him new abilities, and practically a new sense. He had to be very careful though, if he lost concentration, he would lose all the aura he's currently using to empower his aura field, and that made up a substantial amount of his Aura Reserves.

/

"Fearless Leader is Awesome!" shouted Nora, jumping up and down in mad excitement while Ren thought about this Aura field and marvelled and Jaunes continued ingenuity. Both Ren and Nora not surprised in the least that their faith in their leader was once again proven correct.

"Is that how Miss Goodwitch uses her semblance?" asked Ruby.

"No. Glynda's semblance is telekinesis. She doesn't use her aura to create fields with which to manipulate the world around her. She uses it to just bend the world to her will."

"Sounds about right." muttered Qrow.

/

"Oh Jaune." called a sultry voice, penetrating Jaunes concentration and causing the objects he was controlling to fall to the ground. He managed to keep a hold of his aura field and retract it into himself. Tiny motes of white light flowing back into him before he was tackled from the side by a red leather clad Mistralian. They came to rest a few metres later and Pyrrha looked down hungrily at her captive, pining his arms above his head and straddling his waist.

/

"Go Pyrrha." commented Yang. Everyone else was surprised that the Champion would do something like that in public.

"Oh my. What would her fans and agents think seeing this?" said Weiss.

"Not much I would imagine Weiss. This Remnant has nearly been completely conquered by the Grimm remember. Anima and Sanus had been abandoned I think she said." answered Blake, bringing everyone back down to Remnant very quickly.

/

"I don't like waking up without you Jaune..." Jaunes eyebrows just arched upwards and he smirked at his partner. "Oh. You think this is funny." shouted Pyrrha as she grabbed the sides of his face and descended on Jaune like a woman starved of air and finally breaking the surface of an ocean. She moaned into the kiss, not believing how hot his lips were and how comfortable and right it felt when his arms snaked around her.

"Giggle giggle."

Jaune and Pyrrha stopped and slowly turned their heads towards a group of 7 children standing at the entrance of the Foredeck. Giggling at the 2 lovers as they lay on the floor.

Pyrrha immediately buried her head in Jaunes chest using her lengthening red hair to shield her face.

Jaune just continued to smirk and then kissed Pyrrha on the nose before sitting up, bringing Pyrrha up with him as they both got to their feet. Pyrrha then just started laughing.

/

"I miss that sound." muttered Nora as Ren hugged her, knowing exactly how his girlfriend felt.

/

"By the Forests, Wilds and Nature. You 2 are worse than teenagers!" stated the elderly Captain of the ship as he walked onto the Foredeck, shooing the children away to continue their games.

"Well, we have a lot of lost time to make up for." purred Pyrrha, still smiling and still looking at Jaune like no one else was around.

"Well, I can believe that going on the noise complaints from your neighbours…" Pyrrha buried her head into Jaunes chest again as her face turned beat red and Jaune just smirked. "…we'll be approaching the pier in about an hour. You'll need to get your love nest of a cabin squared away before we dock." smirked the captain before he left to go about his duties.

/

"They're together-together now! This is awesome..!" shouted Nora jumping up and down and filled with more joy than anyone could ever remember her exhibiting. "…I need to know how it happened right now!" finished Nora, all but shouting right into Jaunes face.

"Ok. Gather round that screen on the end." said Jaune as he moved down to and placed his hand on what was a radar screen turned universe spying tv.

"Won't that reset the progress we've made?" asked Weiss, hurrying over with her friends.

"Not in this instance no. The main screen over there is maintaining a strong lock in this universe. I can manipulate one or 2 of these other screens with little risk." answered Jaune as he brought his hand away from the smaller screen.

-…-

Pyrrha awoke finding herself alone. This happened every other day. Somehow the mountain of a man Jaune had become could move as silently as a hunting lion.

It was annoying. She loved the way Jaune felt against her when she slept and waking with him next to her, gifting his warmth during their trek to southern Solitas to try and get to Anima.

She knew exactly where he was. He'd be outside doing his exercises. Pyrrha found herself quickly learning Jaunes routines in the month and a half that they had been travelling. Jaune rarely rested. He was always active and doing something. Preparing food, water or equipment. Cleaning cloths or supplies. Maintaining his sword, shield and other weapons. Even learning the ins and outs of Milo and Akouo and patiently explaining the workings of his weapons to her, Jaunes' shield sheath was surprisingly complex. Jaunes energy just seemed, inexhaustible.

Pyrrha threw on her coat over her shirt she was wearing and went outside to find her partner and wasn't surprised to find him training. She paused and drank the sight of him in. He was standing amongst the trees in the small coastal wood they had camped in, the morning sunlight sending beams of light all around him through the canopy. Steam rising from his uncovered, broad and powerful upper body as he moved slowly through his Tai Chi movements. 7 children standing behind him trying to copy the movements.

/

"Fucking hell!" shouted Yang as she stomped one of her feet and glared at the screen before she calmed herself down slightly. Everyone was looking at Yang and waiting for an explanation for the outburst. She just looked back like everyone else had gone nuts and shrugged.

"What was that about?" asked Blake when everyone else's attention had returned to the screen. She may have been able to throw everyone else off, but Blake could see through her partners behaviour surprisingly easily.

"Rubys` bagged herself the perfect man that's what..." hissed Yang quietly so that only Blake could hear. "…I never seem to get the attention of men who are worth anything. Always just pervs, or idiots." muttered Yang to mostly herself now although Blake heard everything.

"Well, I wonder why..?" asked Blake as she struck a sexy pose stretching her arms above her head and pushing her chest out like Yang did early, earning a slight glare from her partner. "…Being as sexy as hell will attract attention Yang, and we're all just animals driven by the urge to eat and mate when you boil everything down…" started Blake attempting to cheer her bosomy friend up. "…Thankfully, the time of cavemen bashing us on our heads and dragging us to their caves has ended. There is only one Jaune, but he's not the only decent guy in the world…or girl. Besides, you shouldn't be jealous of your sister." finished Blake, pointedly looking at Yang as she hung her head.

"I know. I should be happy."

"I was thinking, it's Jaune! The one on screen maybe a demi-god but ours is a kind-hearted moron. The first place he will take her is to a gun show with a bag of cookies instead of flowers."

Yang looked round at Blake and then snickered.

/

Pyrrha just stood and staired longingly as Jaune exercised with the children round him. After another 10 minutes that Pyrrha felt was way too short a time, he turned to the children and bowed. They all bowed back and ran off to find their few parents and guardians.

It was only dumb luck that Pyrrha and Jaune found these people about a week ago as they were being attacked by Grimm. Unfortunately, most of their convey was dead before they could save the rest. 10 survived out of the 50 that made up the convey, and 7 were those children.

"Glad we left your cave now?" asked Pyrrha as she walked up to Jaune.

"Yes. Was still difficult. However, saving even one making it worth it." answered Jaune in Fang sign. Jaune taught it to her during their time together. He was right, it was better. Somehow just more intuitive and efficient than the rest.

"I get it. That was your home for 6 years. I still can't believe the only people you came across in all that time were hostile until me." replied Pyrrha.

"Had bad luck for long time. Guess universe thought I deserved a break. Sent me you." answered Jaune as he retrieved his shirt from a tree and put it on. Pyrrha wasn't going to admit it but she really wished that he hadn't, she couldn't stop the smile that came to her face either with what he signed.

"Well hopefully our good luck streak will continue. According to the maps we found at that old base we're nearing the evac point. Assuming it's still active." said Pyrrha, practically muttering the last sentence.

"If not, we will find another solution." signed Jaune, apparently hearing her.

Just then a scream pierced the quiet morning air and Jaune and Pyrrha were charging off towards the sound. They came upon the survivors' camp and saw a monstrous Nuckelavee. It was walking, stalking towards the cowering children and their guardians. All of whom stood no chance whatsoever despite the adults moving the children behind them to shield them.

/

This brought both bad and good memories to Ren and Nora as they saw the Grimm stalking forward. For an instant they saw the arrow and sword covered body of the creature that destroyed Kuroyuri and robbed Ren of his Mother and Father. With this memory though came the knowledge that that creature was dead at their own hands. The people of Kuroyuri avenged and his Mother and Fathers killer itself destroyed. Ren and Nora held each other just a little bit tighter, grim resolve on their faces as they viewed the beast.

"Well Jaunes going to pound that thing into the ground." said Yang, remembering when this Jaune beat the crap out of a Petra Gigas earlier.

"This Grimm is a lot faster than any Geist. It's also deceptively strong, unpredictable and fast. I would say these things can be tougher fights than Geists." said Qrow.

/

Crocea Mors was in Jaunes hand and deployed on his arm in an instant and Jaunes Aura was already filling both to the point that Pyrrha found them hard to look at.

This drew the attention of the Grimm. Its twisted, twitching head looked at Jaune before it flung its hands at both the defenceless adults and children and at Pyrrha.

Pyrrhas` sword and shield were still in their shelter, a dozen metres away.

In the seconds that they had, Jaune lightly tossed his sword and shield towards Pyrrha who caught them on instinct, while he charged towards the children as he started to glow.

When the sword was in Pyrrhas hands, she felt Jaune. His strength, his resolve to stand firm, his faith in humanity, his belief that things would get better, and his faith, belief, and love that he had for her.

All of this filled her as her own Aura flared due to the indirect boost she'd just received. She planted her feet and the Nuckelavees` arm crumpled against the reinforced shield. She swung Jaunes weapon and caught the offending arm a glancing blow as it withdrew.

The other arm was being held fast by Jaune. He managed to intercept the attack just before it reached the group of innocents. Jaune pulled on the arm and the whole creature was pulled forward slightly before it planted its own hooved and clawed feet and tugged back.

Jaune looked over at Pyrrha and mouthed `Kill it`, as he fixed his grip on the arm he already held and tanked a hit from the second that tried to get to those he was protecting.

Pyrrha leaped into action. The one free arm the monster had became riddled with cuts as Pyrrha slowly worked her way through the limbs flesh until she pinned it with Jaunes shield and managed to score a direct hit, removing the stretchy appendage from its host. The riders head then screeched at them nearly driving Pyrrha to her knees but a second later Jaunes resolve shone through from his sword and she was a blur, stabbing the sword all the way to the hilt in the things neck. She ripped it to the side and then cut back again removing the riders head and cutting off the dreadful noise.

The arm Jaune was holding then went limp and the horse charged. Pyrrha was knocked off and fell to the ground and looked up to see Jaune and the riderless horse charging each other.

Jaune grabbed its neck and vaulted on to its back, he grabbed its head and pulled with all the might he could muster. Pyrrha heard the beasts back break and the horse collapsed as Jaune rolled off.

Somehow the horse was still breathing, as Pyrrha and Jaune approached it, it tried to snap its jaws at them. Pyrrha stabbed the dying beast between its soulless, fiery eyes, ending the thing.

/

"Fuck Yeah..!" shouted Ren, causing everyone to jump, even Nora. Ren coughed slightly into his hand. "…sorry everyone for my outburst. I'm hold a deep dislike of Nuckelavee."

"Ha. That was awesome..." said Yang, tilting her head towards Ren. "…Also, that was awesome. No doubt or hesitation. This Jaune knew what to do and did it."

"Very true. This Jaune is very impressive. I wish we knew who trained him. Imagine what we could all learn from them." said Weiss.

"I'll have you know that Beacon is the ultimate facility of learning for Hunters and Huntresses. When it is repaired and we return your studies will continue, and you will be just as prepared for your roles as defenders of the world as this Jaune appears." protested Ozma at the slight he felt was handed to him and his school.

"You think you could have turned Jaune into this?" asked Blake, gesturing at the screen.

"He is already on his way to becoming this. In no small part due to his studies at Beacon. Although I will admit to the desire to know who trained this Jaune when he left his Beacon." answered Ozma.

/

"Thank the Lord for you two. Thank you so much." said the only other man in the group now. He walked over wobbly, adrenaline still churning through him as well as the sheer relief of still being alive. He all but fell towards Pyrrha and Jaune holding himself up by gripping their arms.

"No problem." signed Jaune. Jaune knew the man wouldn't understand what he signed but did anyway. The man just hugged him in reply before returning to comfort and reassure the group of now crying children.

Pyrrha sheathed and collapsed the shield before handing it back to Jaune.

"Sooo. You love me..." said Pyrrha as she gazed into Jaunes startled eyes. "…When I held your sword with your aura in it, I felt some of your feelings…" continued Pyrrha, reaching forward and placing her hand on Jaunes board chest. "…I've felt that way about you since we met back at Beacon."

/

"Renny! She's confessing! Renny! SHE'S CONFESSING!" shouted Nora. Shacking Ren wildly.

`What is Rens' head attached to his body thing?` thought Blake to herself as Noras' shacking caused Rens' head to go everywhere.

"I'm sure Mr Li would be able to notice the fact if you let him focus on the screen Miss Valkyrie." said Ozma from safely outside the range of Ren's wildly waving head.

"Oh Renny! I'm so sorry…" shouted Nora hugging Rens' head to her chest. "…I almost made you miss it!"

"Still missing it…" said Ren's muffed voice as Nora jumped and released his head due to the vibrations of his voice directed into her chest playing with her nipples. Ren gasp as he was released and everyone else chuckled as he focused on the screen. "…Well it only took this Pyrrha 15 years." finished Ren with a small smile.

"Think she's rushing it?" asked Yang smirking.

/

Jaune was very still. Having no idea how to react to his feelings being made public to the focus of those same feelings.

"Speechless?" teased Pyrrha. She wasn't the nervous, fearful teenager anymore. She's a woman now. A 34 year old huntress who has just learned that the feelings she's felt for 17 years, are returned.

"Surprised…" answered Jaune after what seemed like an age inside his own head. "…I mean, I get it now. Not that many mento pick from anymore and apart from my neck, I don't think I look that bad. However, you being interested since Beacon?"

"You always did sell yourself short. There's always been more to you than your looks, a lot more..." replied Pyrrha, her hand remaining on Jaunes chest and her nails nearly digging into his shirt. "…your kind, caring, determined, smart, just to name a few of the things about you that make you, perfect for me." breathed Pyrrha, slowly moving into Jaune personal space. Jaune looked back down at Pyrrha.

Fear flashed in Jaunes eyes. He could face down armies of Grimm, rogue hunters, criminals, however the one creature that always gave Jaune pause…was women. Unpredictable, sometimes they seemed crazy. Going from happy to angry in a heartbeat. Laughing to crying. He knew that when he was younger, he was an oblivious idiot when it came to girls. He didn't really start to have a clue until Penny pretty much kidnapped him about 7 or 8 years ago for a week of sex. So far his one and only jaunt into the mysterious realm of the relationship. She apparently wanted Jaune, cause she had calculated that he was the only man who could satisfy her given her unique nature. Despite his inexperience, he apparently pleasured her into a thermal restart. After a final Atlas shacking orgasm, she didn't wake up for 2 days. Explaining what happened to Dr Polendina was a little awkward.

/

Everyone was just speechless and weirded out. This Jaune apparently sexed Penny into a coma. Penny! Also, it apparently took a week of sexual effort.

"Is that…correct?" asked Blake nervously and as red faced as everyone else save for Jaune.

"Hmmm? What? Penny? Yeah. She sort out Jaune after working together for about 6 months while this Jaune was in Mantle. They stayed together for another year before they separated just before the fall of Atlas."

"What? No! The week of sex thing!" shouted Yang.

"Lord, you guys really are teenagers. Yes Yang, Jaunes tend to be sex monsters. It goes with having massive aura reserves, stamina and just being an Arc. Why do you think the wives of Arcs' consent to so many children." said Jaune matter-of-factly, as all the girls faces somehow blushed even more. Ruby seemed to have shut down, staring blankly at the screen with wide eyes and very pink cheeks.

"Blonde blued eyed bastards. All of them." muttered Qrow angrily to himself.

/

Pyrrha was too close. He couldn't sign to her. He knew what he wanted to do. He wanted to grab her and show her what he felt. Do to her what he'd been dreaming of doing for over a month. However, nerves were still holding him back.

"It's alright. I'm nervous too..." said Pyrrha, somehow seeing in Jaunes eyes with her own beautiful green ones what he couldn't communicate with his hands at such very close range. "…Not much opportunity for romance or relationships in our day and age. I don't exactly have a lot of experience with this but know that I'm being sincere. I want this." Pyrrha was now pressed right up against Jaune, looking right into his eyes with warmth, love and longing.

Pyrrha was slightly shorter than him now when compared to Beacon where he was only just the same height as her.

He leaned forward and their lips met. It wasn't anything explosive, or dramatic. No shifting of perspective or realignment of the stars. They kissed and it just felt so…right. Jaunes hands came up to Pyrrhas hips as their kiss deepened. Her hands slowly winding around his neck and tightening as she pressed herself closer. Her lose sleep cloths offering no barrier between her full breasts and Jaunes chest. He could feel all of her that was pressed up against him. Her toned stomach, her rounded breasts, and now slightly hardening nipples as he felt Pyrrha start to breath quicker and harder.

Jaune heard some giggling and pulled away to look over Pyrrhas' shoulder, seeing the group of survivors. The adults smirking and now looking everywhere but at Jaune and the children openly giggling.

"No…" Breathed Pyrrha. "…You come back here." Jaune tilted his chin towards the group and Pyrrha turned her head to look. Then her beautiful face went as red as her hair. Jaune just waved a little and gave his goofy smile before taking Pyrrhas' hand and leading her back to their tent.

"You wouldn't believe we're in our 30s." smirked Pyrrha as she pressed herself to Jaune again when they were in private, her beat red embarrassed face returning to its normal but now slightly flustered colour.

Jaune just leaned in again gently kissing her in reply. Pyrrha jumped up and wrapped her arms and legs around Jaune. They stayed in their tent kissing and caressing each other for an hour before they knew they had to get ready to move. They both finished their walk with huge smiles on their faces, and purposefully set their tent at the foot of the abandoned pier while the group took shelter in the buildings at the end of the pier. They hoped the distance would allow the group to get some sleep while Pyrrha yelled herself hoarse.

She collapsed on top of him hours later. Her sweat covered body gulping in lungful's of air as her glistening naked body rested on his. He ran his hands around her, cupping her bottom and stroking her sides as his member stayed embedded within her, throbbing and nearing his own release as he slowly continued to move within her. Jaune could feel her smiling into his neck as she got her breathing under control.

"I like this training. I can't remember being more exhausted, or feeling this good…" Jaune smiled to himself too, immeasurably satisfied, and happy with himself that he can turn his partner into a blissfully satisfied jelly mess. Jaune gently rolled her over and leaned down lightly licking one of her hard nipples, making her overly sensitive body shudder around his dick as he continued to move inside her. "…oh fuck." breathed Pyrrha.

-…-

"Hee hee. Pyrrha swore." muttered Nora leaning back into Rens' chest.

"Should we be watching this?" asked Weiss, her own eyes wide and riveted to the screen. She even licked her lips after speaking.

"Are you not blinking?" asked Yang, nudging Weiss who jumped as if she didn't know where she was.

"The chamber shows what you want remember. You lot are apparently a bunch of horny pervs…" answered Jaune. He looked round and almost facepalmed. All the girls were riveted to the screen, blushing beat red, biting their lips and looking quite aroused. Even Nora, she was wiggling against Ren as he tried to ignore what Nora was doing to him.

Only Oscar, Ozma, Qrow and Maria didn't look like they were about to start masturbating.

Oscar, the poor boy, was just as beat red as the girls and had again turned completely away from the universe he was supposed to be watching. Ozma and Maria were on the cusp of chuckling. Sexuality had long ago stopped being something embarrassing for them. Qrow was a weird mixture of sad, angry, and jealous. Jaune could understand why. His curse of a semblance prevented any real, or long-term relationship. Jaune pitied the poor man, knowing that in worlds without aura and a semblance Qrow was a rough but good man, worthy of any woman.

"…why don't we take a break to cool off. You got to see how they got together…" said Jaune as the radar screen they were watching reverted to its default display while the centre one continued to remain paused, jumping from parallel universe to parallel universe. "…the fresh air should be good for you." finished Jaune as the girls jumped, their fantasies interrupted with the screen no longer holding their attention.

"Yes. Well…" started Weiss, coughing lightly into her hand. "…I think a little walk around the deck might be nice."

"I'll join you. Yang?" said Blake, the first girl to start getting control of herself.

"Nah. I'm going to go find this ships gym. I suddenly feel the urge to do…something." said Yang, clearly flustered.

"Ruby?" asked Weiss.

"Yeah. Sure. Sounds good." answered Ruby, looking rather lost.

"Well…We're going to go find the most luxurious cabin on this thing and get an itch scratched. Any of you interrupt us and I'll punt you into the ocean with Magnhild." she then grabbed Ren and flew off the bridge.

"I'm going to find the bar." muttered Qrow as he stomped off.

Ozma, Oscar and Maria just wondered off without a word.

"Well…Guess I'll just search the multiverse for a bit." Jaune closed his eyes and, just stood where he was.

"Well…That was…" started Weiss, only to lose the words.

"So romantic…" finished Blake dreamily. "…Like a scene from Ninjas of Love, Distant Touch. Lovers parted and reunited years later and reaffirming their cosmic connection through the act of making love."

"You and your smut books. I'm sure if Pyrrha staked Jaune to the ground in his sleep and then had sex with him you'd find a romantic version of that crime in your books…" said Weiss, Blake looked a little sheepish. "…you have got to be kidding me." cried Weiss in despair.

"Can you two stop being stupid..!" shouted Ruby, getting both Weiss and Blakes' undivided attention due to Rubys' very uncharacteristic outburst and the look of complete and utter helplessness on her face. "…What am I going to do?" she pleaded. Ruby then walked over to the ships railings and laid her forehead on the wooden beam.

"Ruby. Talk to us. I don't really see a problem here. That Jaune could be our one in 15 years and I see nothing to worry about." said Weiss as she stood next to Ruby and rubbed her back.

"I agree. This Jaune is honourable, true, intelligent, and he shares many other things as well with our Jaune. You're lucky that you've been able to see what Jaune can become and know that he will be a good man." said Blake walking up to Rubys' other side.

Ruby just banged her head on the railing. "That's not what I'm worried about. I have no doubt that Jaune is good and will remain that way."

"Then what's the problem Ruby?" asked Weiss gently.

Ruby stood up straight looking out over the water.

"Jaune is going to be a sex monster..!" Ruby all but shouted. "…He made love to Penny for a week and she shutdown. Penny! An android! Now he's exhausted Pyrrha and he was still good to go, probably for another week! I'll never have anywhere near the stamina they have. I know that at the moment my Jaune is just as…inexperienced as I am, but he won't be forever. How the hell am I supposed to satisfy an Arc!" despaired Ruby.

"Ruby. From this Jaunes, rather smug expression I'd say he's more concerned with pleasuring his partner rather than his own gratification." said Blake.

"How is that a good thing. I want to be able to make Jaune feel good too!" replied Ruby heatedly.

"He's a boy Ruby. It's easy to please them, be thankful you've found a man that'll want to please you." said Weiss with an air of knowing.

"And you would know this how?" asked Blake, one of her eyebrows raising as she stared at the heiress challengingly. At which point Weiss started to fluster.

"Well, it's obvious isn't it. Men are simple beasts after all." replied Weiss, crossing her arms over her developing chest, and challenged Blake right back.

"Nothing is as simple as it, or in this case, they seem. Men are the ones that have to actually `perform` after all…" started Blake, air quoting. "…a shift in mood, a wrong word said, or a change in stimulus and their `performance` stalls. Penises don't have on/off switches or cum buttons on them." fired back Blake, adopting a similar stance to Weiss.

"Oh, I suppose your, oh so accurate `literature` has armed you with this insight into the inner workings of the male animal?" argued back Weiss.

"Obviously, and actually also having had sex helps as well…" argued Blake, bringing Weiss up short on what to say back. "…I was with, Adam for years remember?" replied Blake, pausing when she said the name as regret over her lost love flared.

Weiss hung her head in shame, the brief flare of anger and challenge left her very quickly. "Blake I'm sorry. I didn't know that it would bring forth uncomfortable memories. I can't imagine how bad it must have been for you."

"It wasn't. We loved each other Weiss. Unfortunately, Adams extreme views regarding humanity just spiralled out of control. We differed more and more in our views on what must be done, and I left him when it became apparent that supremacy through extermination, not equality had become his goal. Attempting to murder a whole train load of innocent people made that very clear. He was a good man before he started to change, and he was good to me. At least up until the end."

"I've never experienced anything like that. Any boys that tried to court me were always after the same thing. My name and money." scoffed Weiss enviously.

"Till Jaune." said Blake with a sad little smirk.

"Yes. Thanks for reminding me. Oum, the serenading."

Ruby just looked between the 2 as they talked about their own experiences and wants, and how the Jaunes they've seen compare to their own and how he'll eventually measure up to his counter parts.

Ruby sighed and left them to it, wondering off to walk around the deck and see if she could find an insightful seagull for advice.

"Are we bad friends?" asked Blake after Ruby had wondered off.

"You may have had sex before, but I don't think either of us can give her any advice about what to do with Jaune..." answered Weiss. Somehow the pair of them had communicated their desire to run from this topic with Ruby and seamlessly pushed her out of the conversation. They both felt like asses afterwards, but Blake and Weiss immediately blushed crimson when they again tried to think of anything to say that might help. "…I think this might be a big sister thing."

"I don't know. I think Yang might be carrying her own torch for Jaune now having seen some of these universes. Isn't that weird to say."

"Oh Lord…" facepalmed Weiss. "Now I feel even worse. Come on. We're just going to have to bite the bullet and have the `talk` with Ruby. This is going to be so awkward and embarrassing." finished Weiss as she started after Ruby, Blake in tow if reluctantly.

"How are you doing?" asked Ozma as he and Oscar walked around the vessels passenger accommodation areas.

"Not too bad I think. All of this is a lot to take in. However I'm mainly, really curious. What are the other versions of me like do you think?" asked Oscar smiling as he walked alongside his new mentor.

"I have every faith that they are just as good, and strong as you are. You have a well spring of untapped potential and I believe that you will become a great huntsmen. I'm really looking forward to it. I haven't taken an apprentice for well over 400 years I think. Training someone one on one and facing the trails we will come across together. I have to admit it has my heart racing a little with anticipation." answered Ozma, his stride and manor showing off how much he has been reinvigorated by the return of his body and the new approach he's thinking of taking.

"I'm looking forward to it too. Especially now that I have my life to live again." said Oscar, still smiling, until they both heard a crash of breaking glass. They both looked around and found Qrow in a small bar. He was behind the counter going through the bottles on display. He'd apparently just finished off a small bottle of bourbon before slinging the empty bottle over his shoulder.

"Hello Qrow." said Ozma, concealing his disappointment at his friends mood as he entered the bar, Oscar with him.

"Oz." answered Qrow as he kept looking through the bottles on the shelf.

"Are you alright Mr Branwen?" asked Oscar sitting on one of the stools lining the bar.

Qrow paused and seemed to sigh and deflate. The man obviously depressed.

"I'm as good as I've always been brat. So, fucking shit…" replied Qrow bitterly, but with no heat behind it. He found a bottle of 6 year old Altasian Mead. He placed it on the side and turned on a small urn. As he flipped the switch and turned the dial to 50 degrees, the shelf above the bottle suddenly fell. The shelf and all the bottles on it landed intact, however the bottle of Mead Qrow found was nudged by the shelf as it fell and toppled off the countertop and smashed on the hard wooden deck. Qrows shoulders fell slightly and he just turned off the Urn and started looking again at the bottles on display. "…Bit warm here for hot mead anyway."

"Qrow. You shouldn't give up hope. You never know what might be waiting…"

"Can it Oz. I long since stopped looking. Just getting my end away every now and then seems good enough for me."

"Is…is this because of what we've seem here with the current Jaune we're viewing. He and this Pyrrhas relationship?" asked Oscar hesitantly. Oscar knew Qrow, at least he knew Qrow as Ozma knew Qrow. Sharing a mind, a body and the beginnings of a soul left a massive impression and a vast amount of as yet undiscovered knowledge within Oscar. He knew that he'd only meet Qrow recently and from what he'd seen he wasn't that impressed with the drunkard of a man, however he also knows Qrow from Ozmas perspective. A driven, powerful and affectionate man that dotted on his nieces. That loved his brother-in-law, his bitch of a sister and his dearest long-lost friend. A man that yearns for companionship of his own, but has lost hope and abstains due to the risk the power of his own soul would put any partner in.

"Perceptive little shit aren't you." commented Qrow with a humourless chuckle.

"I think, that everyone has their match waiting for them in this world. My Mum and Dad always said that they are some of the lucky few that have found their match. Mine is out there somewhere too, and so is yours."

"Pretty words kid. Even if my perfect match was out there somewhere, my semblance would drive them away eventually if not cause them harm. Now get lost, I want to see if I can overload this suspended biological functions bullshit and get really drunk." Qrow then grabbed a random bottle off the shelves and started chugging.

"Have you tried looking for someone with a `good luck` semblance..?" asked Oscar innocently, reaching round and grabbing himself a soft drink from the bar as Qrow and Ozma looked at him in disbelief, Qrow forgetting to put the bottle down and the contents now flowing down his shirt. Oscar looked back and paused when he found them both looking at him dumbfounded. "…What?" Ozma and Qrow just looked at each other slowly.

"Why didn't we think of that?" asked Ozma.

"We have access to a massive secure database of semblances? We could have done a search in minutes." commented Qrow.

"Even if Beacons Database comes up empty, the odds of a `good luck` semblance existing is still pretty good. Relatively speaking. Around 70% of the Aura active population aren't logged with an academy." put in Ozma.

"When I find her I'm going to charm the pants off her. Chocolates. Flowers. All that crap in Yangs` shitty romance movies. I'm going to have to borrow them to get ideas." said Qrow, now pacing behind the bar formulating romantic plans.

"What if it's a guy?" asked Oscar.

"Then I'll turn gay. Duh. Swap chocolates for beer and flowers for…what the hell is the guy equivalent of flowers!" shouted Qrow in Ozmas face, nearly making the immortal parasitic wizard fall back.

"Err. C…Coffee beans?" stammered Ozma.

"…Perfect! You've got tonnes of that crap…!" shouted Qrow again as he then started rambling off lists of things that he thought men and woman would like to get.

Oscar just thumped his head into the bar and sighed to himself. Even he knew those types of stereotypes were stupid. Not all girls like flowers and chocolates and not all guys like beer and coffee. Oscar hated coffee and never had beer. He resigned himself to his soft drink as Qrow animatedly discussed guy and girl pickup lines with an increasingly bewildered looking Ozma.

Yang had found the gym and was merrily pounding away at a punching bag. She really needed this. Let off some steam. Partake in the simple pleasure of vigorous movement. She started to relax and her hits became harder and harder until the punching bag pretty much exploded…again. Showering her and the surrounding area with grains of sand. Yang huffed, removed the remains of the bag and walked over to the rows of punching bags she'd laid out ready to be used. She picked it up and got ready to hook it up.

"Civilian equipment never seems to hold up does it? Not matter what it is…" said Maria from the entrance to the gym. Yang turned to her and watched as the old lady wondered in and sat down on the bench lining one bulkhead. "…makes sense I guess. Huntress class equipment needs to survive potential contact with Grimm, let alone superpowered people."

"Yeeaahh..?" answered Yang hesitantly. "…The only gyms I could ever go to were at Signal and Beacon. Every other gym refused me saying I wasn't covered by their insurance."

"Yep. It wasn't as bad in my day. The world wasn't as…comfortable, as it is now. Huntsmen and Huntresses all but lived on the outskirts keeping the kingdoms safe. We never really ran into any civilian problems. No equipment, or buildings that couldn't handle aura enabled people. Sometimes makes you forget how fragile people are, until you return to civilisation."

"Ok?" answered Yang, not sure at all where this weird conversation with the old lady has come from.

"Did you know only 2% of Huntsmen have children with non-huntresses, or at least with non-aura enabled women. 5% of Huntresses bear the child of non-huntsmen. There is so much difference between us and them. They are so fragile. We can punch through walls like its nothing while they need a hammer to break through glass."

"I already know that. Everyone knows that. It's what our unlocked Aura does to us. To fight the Grimm we need this extra power, and it helps draw them away from civilians since the Grimm will go after aura more than people with negative emotions. It's why everyone doesn't have their aura unlocked. Farmers can't farm if aura is constantly drawing Grimm to them. Builders can't build, people can't raise children…" replied Yang, huffing and throwing the punching bag she had just picked up onto the deck. "…What are you getting at anyway. You're beating around the bush about something."

"Alright girly. I like you and your sister. You both remind me of myself. I would hate to see you both start to fight over a boy. A boy I might add, that could turn out nothing like the ones we've seen on those screens." finished Maria, she really did see herself in both Yang and Ruby. Although she hasn't known either of them long or them her. She felt a bond forming. Maria started to see them both as long-lost grandchildren. The fact that Ruby has silver eyes confirmed some sort of distant genetic connection. Maria never had family of her own and found the idea intoxicating. Very late now of course but she can enact her dream in a limited way with Yang and Ruby.

"Are you nuts? I would never break Rubys' heart like that. I love her more than anything. Ruby and Jaune just makes sense." argued Yang. She couldn't deny that she had been thinking about what She and Jaune would be like together. He was still lagging behind everyone in terms of combat skill but his heart was just as big as the mute Jaune they've been watching and his mind was as keen and fluid as everyone else's. Her mind had been wondering to places were she and Jaune would go to the movies, have dinner, she receiving flowers and holding them to her chest, and then the thoughts of having him caress and draw pleasure from her as she did the same to him. Smashing this gym to pieces did help her return to reality a bit, but the treasonous thoughts still lingered.

"But you still have your own life that you want to satisfy. Your own dreams and desires and want for a companion, and let's face it, out of all the girls here you're probably to most likely to be able to satisfy the desires of an Arc from what we've seen. But companionship isn't all about sex, it plays its part, but there is so much more to it than that. Your companion is out there. It maybe frustrating and heart wrenching, but I don't think Jaune is for you. Despite the desires your feeling, I think you know that to." finished Maria again, her voice started to ache a little from her impromptu speech/therapy session, throat becoming dry. Yang seemed to notice and grabbed a bottle of water from a drinks machine that she ripped the front off of earlier and brought it over to Maria.

"You don't really know Ruby and me. Why do you even care?"

"Oh, but I do know you…" answered Maria after a sip of water. "…The both of you are just like me. Only much younger, and I care…because you bring me comfort. In this world where the monsters wear both fur and skin. You and your friends are precious."

Yang just huffed and looked at the old woman sceptically.

"I still have no idea what I'm suppose to be feeling, or thinking, or doing really. Thank you though for trying to help." said Yang as she plopped herself down next to Maria on the bench.

"Think nothing of it girly. Just talking can work wonders for sorting out problems. I suggest you go talk to some of those precious friends I mentioned."

"Thanks lady. You want to start wondering back up?" asked Yang as she stood again.

"I think I would like to. I can tell you some of my stories on the way. You want to hear about how I first unlocked my eyes?"

"Yeah sure. Why not." smiled Yang as she and Maria walked out of the ships gym and made the slow journey back to the vessels bridge.

Jaune was still searching through the multiverse when people started to return to the bridge. Still just standing in place.

His search hadn't born any fruit unfortunately. No trace of the first universe and no familiar vibrations. He would just have to keep waiting as the minds, souls and feelings of those around him continued to guide him through the multiverse slowly but surely bringing him closer and closer to his home.

Jaune of course knew when everyone had returned to the bridge. Nora and Ren being the last, smiling and holding hands with a faint glow about them from the intimate action they shared with each other.

"Hey guys…" shouted Nora after she and Ren entered the bridge. "…you guys cooled off now?" she asked blatantly and innocently as she gave Rens' hand a squeeze before letting go to converse with her fellow young females.

She looked closely at her friends and noted that Yang appeared the most cooled. Cheerful again even, while Ruby, Weiss, and Blake seemed mostly embarrassed.

"I feel much better now. Nothing like hitting things to burn off some steam…" answered Yang as she struck and boxing pose and threw a few punches. "…also that Maria is pretty alright. Hey did you guys know she first unlocked her eyes on Patch. Around 60 years ago, after she graduated, she accepted a mission there and the west side of the island and it was nearly overrun! She stood between the hoard and Patches people when her eyes activated."

"What? I don't remember hearing anything about that." questioned Ruby.

"The Flash."

"That was her.?!" shouted Ruby before she charged off towards Maria. "…That was you?!"

Marias' mechanical eyes grew wide in surprise when Ruby just appeared in front of her bouncing up and down in excitement.

"Was what me?" asked Maria, very confused.

"You're the Flash!" shouted Ruby again.

"That thing Yang mentioned when my eyes awoke? Yeah, that was me. She'd didn't make it sound like a big deal though." answered Maria as she continued walking to one of the bolted down bridge chairs. She spied a lever on the back when she entered with Yang that may allow her to lower the damn thing down so she can get on it and sit down.

"How can you say that! That was the largest Grimm hoard ever seen in Patch. Signal Town was preparing for the onslaught and ripping houses apart to try and build boats to escape when the entire horizon lite up with a bright silver light from where scouts had reported the Grimm. As the days went by and no Grimm came the scouts went out again and reported nothing. The entire west half of the island had been completely freed from Grimm. Those that remained in the east were just the local ones that have always been dealt with by the Patch Watchmen. We have a holiday in Patch in honour of you!" finished Ruby, continuing to bounce up and down in excitement with a huge smile on her face.

"Of course, no one on Patch knows it's you. We call it Flash Day." chimed Yang, grinning herself as Ruby took a breath.

"You didn't say anything?" the older woman questioned.

"What? And miss this?" said Yang holding up her scroll with a picture of a charging Ruby bounding towards a confused and fearful Maria, mechanical eyes as wide as they can go.

"Well. It's official. You're one of us now." piped in Blake as she flicked her finger across Yangs' scroll showing other pictures of her confused or embarrassed friends.

"Hurray." deadpanned Maria as she climbed into the still high bridge chair.

Meanwhile Weiss had walked over to Jaune while everyone else got comfortable or talked and waved her hand in front of his face a few times. Jaune knew she had but elected to finish his quick search of the local multiverse.

"What's wrong with Jaune. It looks like he hasn't moved since we left." said Weiss, now standing on her top toes and scrutinising his face.

Jaunes eyes then burst open and Weiss gasped, eyes going wide before she just blackedout and collapsed. She just couldn't comprehend what she saw reflected in Jaunes eyes.

Eyes are the windows to the soul, and for a moment Weiss saw the infinite multiverse shinning through Jaunes eyes as his brought himself back. An infinite black sea filled with infinite shapes, in an infinite array of colours. Each shape a universe.

Jaune lunged forward and caught Weiss before she could fall, which obviously caught everyone's attention.

"Oops."

"Weiss! What the hell did you do?!" shouted Yang as she and everyone else rushed over.

"Her brain shutdown to protect itself…" everyone just looked at him without comprehension. Jaune nodded his head in understanding. "…Right. She caught a glimpse of the multiverse when I opened my eyes. None of your minds can handle infinity. My mind can't handle infinity, but I can at least look upon it as far as my mind can see. It's too much for her…" Jaune supported Weiss' slight weight on one arm and snapped the fingers of his free hand. Weiss jumped up and out of Jaune arms before huffing and straightening her completely uncreased dress. "…all fixed."

"What happened?" demanded Weiss.

"Your brain shutdown." deadpanned Jaune. Weiss just looked at him as Jaune tried to hide a smirk.

"Dolt…" muttered Weiss before turning to her friends. "…what happened?"

"He said you glimpsed the multiverse through his eyes when you were looking at his face." Half answered Ruby.

"Then you just collapsed and Jaune caught you before you could fall." said Yang, providing a bit more of the answer.

"Then he snapped his fingers and said all fixed." finished Blake.

Weiss just looked at then in confusion.

"I don't remember seeing anything?"

"I know. I removed the memory from your mind so your brain would stop trying to process it and get back to normal functionality. If I hadn't, your brain would be continuing to try and process what it saw until your body died." said Jaune, completely unfazed by what had happened.

Everyone just looked at Jaune, a little fear creeping into their expressions as they regarded the unfathomably power individual in front of them.

"You, really aren't anything like us? Are you?" asked Ozma.

"I am an infinite number of Jaune Arcs in one form. I'm just like you, just times infinity…" finished Jaune, smiling at everyone with his usual goofy grin. "…why don't we try and get back into this." said Jaune half turning and pointing at the still jumping main screen.

"How long would it keep jumping like that?" asked Oscar as he and everyone else gathered around.

"Forever." answered Jaune.

"It must run out of universes like this one eventually." commented Weiss as she summoned her Armour Gigas sword horizontally and used it as a settee.

"Infinite Multiverse." replied Jaune, putting marked emphasis on both words.

"I'm really starting to hate the word `infinite`." muttered Yang.

-…-

It didn't take long for Jaune and Pyrrha to pack their belongings. Most of it was already ready and packed the previous day since they knew they'd be arriving today. They waited on the disembarkation deck as the vessels crew went about their work, preparing mooring lines and rigging the gangways to make them ready to deploy as soon as the ship was secure.

It didn't take long. The ship approached the pier, slowed right down and thin ropes were thrown to the pier where the local pier workers used them to pull the larger mooring lines across and placed them over bollards. About 10 minutes from start to finish, and with all the lines secure making the ship secure, the gangways went out. A few minutes later then that was secure Jaune, Pyrrha and the rest of the few passengers on board disembarked.

Pyrrha and Jaune started walking towards Kuo Kuana after waving good bye to the children and their guardians they'd saved.

The walk was beautiful. They walked on the beach hand in hand, enjoying the slight sea breeze, ignoring the vehicles driving alone further up the beach on a small road. The silence between them was comfortable as they just walked enjoying each others mere presence.

/

"Oh wow. That really is so lovely. We have to go there." shouted Ruby, Patch was a lovely and beautiful place too but its beaches were made of stones.

"That would be nice. I'd have to abstain though. I may not be my father, but I carry my families name with pride. I don't think I'll be very welcome." said Weiss, looking out the bridge windows for a minute taking in the gorgeous view.

"How about southern Mistral instead! I bet we could find the perfect place for a beach getaway!" shouted Nora, leaping over and smothering Weiss in a huge hug that left the whited haired girl gasping for breath when Ren got Nora to release her.

/

To Jaune and Pyrrha, the walk to Kuo Kuana was over too quickly. As buildings started to appear the two walked up onto the road to make use of any new road signs that may have been put up since Jaune last visit.

Jaune immediately noticed the differences around him. The wooden homes were thankfully still in place, but concrete was starting to take over. Walls and other basic defences were ringing the homes and traditional wooden builds that the Faunus preferred in this hot climate. A lot more technology was also present. Mainly in the form of static weapons emplacements. Rotary guns, cannons, missile launchers and Dust energy weapons were scattered everywhere. All atop small hollow concrete blocks that undoubtedly contained the majority of the weapons ammunition, reload mechanisms and control systems.

As He and Pyrrha continued to walk Jaune managed to get the gist of Kuo Kuanas new defences. The Faunus capital had been turned into a patch work of self-contained mini-fortresses. It would definitely help to delay any advance into the city as any overrun segment would be surround by its fellow segments, all of which would have weapons aimed into a kill zone. This would have taken a lot of planning and material to implement. A sign of the times that it was now complete and manned rather than being discussed and dismissed in favour of some social or political project.

/

Blake couldn't believe what she was seeing. Her beautiful home had been turned into a military city, complete with more guns than she could count. She just stared at the screen gobsmacked.

"I know what you're thinking Blake. However, remember the type of world this Remanent is now. Human and Faunus kind are both on the verge of extinction. No one cares about how it looks so long as, as many guns as possible are pointed at the Grimm." said Jaune, and Blake was thankful for the attempt to make her feel better about this. However the Atlas methodology and technology present in the fortifications still rubbed her the wrong way. She hated what she was seeing.

/

"It's nice here. I love the architecture, when you look past the fortifications. I guess they weren't here last time you were?" asked Pyrrha. Jaune having described this place to her during their journey with no mention of concrete fortifications or weapons emplacements.

"No. Weapons and concrete structures are new. Shame. Was beautiful place." signed Janue as he and Pyrrha continued towards the centre of the city.

"PYRRHAAAAA!" someone suddenly shouted before she was tackled by a red blur with both Pyrrha and said blur flying down the street. They came to rest around 10 metres later, with Pyrrha sitting up with another woman hugging her for what seemed like dear life. "…what the hell happened to you you go on a simple supply mission and then disappear for 6 months only to appear without warning on the other side of the world we looked everywhere for you the convoy survivors said you were facing a horde hundreds strong we feared the worst…" the tsunami of rushing world came to a halt when Pyrrha managed to clap her hand over the blurs mouth.

"Hi Ruby. I so happy to see you too!" said Pyrrha as tears formed in her eyes and she hugged the red reaper back with all her strength.

Jaune just looked on. Thankfully not hit by the little red missile. Just like Pyrrha, his first friend from Beacon was no longer an awkward little teenager. Her hair was pretty much the same, but with a single length of black, red tipped hair going down the centre of her back. A black, red trimmed leather corset hugged her curvaceous and fuller figure. The material accentuating her round bust and slim waist. A thin black blouse was underneath over the top of her bust and reaching up to her neck as well as covering her arms which had small leather belts around them. She wore black fingerless leather gloves which appeared to have pads over the knuckles. Just as Jaune remembered her, her red cape was covering her bottom and legs. Jaune though it safe to assume that the very same rose brooch from Beacon was continuing to hold it in place. All of this was still in a gorgeous petite package, she looked to be at least a foot shorter than Pyrrha. Jaune couldn't really see her face either since it was buried in Pyrrhas chest, but he just decided to assume she was as cute as ever.

A small smile came to Jaunes face as he remembered the good times he shared with his first friend from beacon.

"Hey Cereal Girl. Bout time you showed up. Where the hell you been..?" Jaune looked around and his eyes widened slightly. He remembered Yang being a bombshell back at Beacon, but she somehow just looks so much sexier now. Her hair was even longer than Jaune remembered, reaching down to her knees rather than just her backside and was still a shinning gold that put the sun to shame. She still had her old jacket from what Jaune could see although the sleeves were now missing, and he could see a lot since the jacket was now open for 2 very good reasons. Her bust had continued to develop apparently, and her impressive breasts were contained by an orange tank top. Around her neck was an orange scarf that Jaune vaguely remembered. She now also wore black trousers rather than her very short black hotpants. Still tight over her powerful legs though and showing off her shapely rear end. What surprised him the most though was her now robotic right arm and the number of scars now covering her body. Jaune wasn't that surprised about the scars, Yang was a close ranged fighter after all and always in the thick of things. However, the fact she now sported a prosthetic limb threw him a bit. It also appeared custom made for her. Keeping it maintained now must be a huge hurdle for her. What with Atlas and the technology it represented now gone.

/

"Ha! I told you guys didn't I! Still as sexy as all hell!" shouted Yang, evidently very pleased with what the future her may look like.

Ruby was less pleased. She was happy that her body has continued to fill out properly. The screen shows that she may turn into a beautiful woman, but she would apparently remain a short stack.

"But I drink milk?" whined Ruby.

"Well going on those boobs I'd say that milk went elsewhere." said Nora tapping Ruby in the side with her elbow. Oddly her blunt unashamed appraisal seemed to make Ruby feel a little better.

/

Yang just walked up to the 2 woman and scooped them both up in a huge hug. Tears of joy followed soon after as the 3 embraced each other joyously.

About a minute later Yang released her friends, all of them still sporting a massive grin.

"Soooo. Who's the hunk..?" said Yang now peering over her shoulder at Jaune. "…Have to say, love the eyes."

"Yeah. He's like a mini Ghira…" started Ruby as she looked at him as well, until her eyes landed on the sword and shield at his hip, before going wide. "…where'd you get that sword?"

/

"Figures you'd remember Jaunes weapon Ruby." commented Blake smirking.

"What? Weapons are easy to remember, not like they change much over time."

"She ain't wrong. Looks like your weapons have remained the same Yang." Threw in Maria and the girls looked back at the screen and could see that the weapons on Yang where pretty much the same as the ones on Yang wrists right now.

/

"family heirloom." signed Jaune as Rubys' eye grew even larger.

"The strong silent type. Can get onboard with that." said Yang as she seductively walked up to Jaune swinging her hips. Until a force grabbed her robotic arm and dragged her away.

"Down girl. This ones mine." commanded Pyrrha with a smirk as she moved between Yang and `her` Jaune.

"Oh come on Pyrrha. Sharing is caring…" but her pleas fell on deaf ears as Pyrrha just narrowed her eyes. Jaune put a hand on her shoulder and then Pyrrha relaxed, releasing the hold on Yangs' arm. "…Can't blame me for trying. We're at an 8 to 1 disadvantage now."

/

"What does she mean by that?" asked Oscar innocently.

"At this point in time for this universe, there are 8 women for every 1 man. Men made up the bulk of humanities defensive force throughout the kingdoms and formed the rear-guard when villages, and eventually cities started to evacuate. Then they died when they were overrun." answered Jaune.

"Hold up! Why the hell were men the only ones fighting..?" shouted Nora. "…I can beat up most of the men I know!"

"You aren't the average women Nora, and women did fight, just as hard as the men they stood with. However, when families are fleeing for their lives, the husband, father and son will more often than not stay behind to protect his wife, child and siblings. The average man is physical stronger than the average woman, it's just the way the human body has evolved."

"Still sounds sexist to me."

"Well take it up with God or Darwin…" fired back Jaune with a shrug. "…political correctness isn't going to get me home, the honest truth will. Besides, you'll naturally have a longer life expectancy, better pain tolerance, sense of smell and better memory recall."

"Who's Darwin?" muttered Weiss to herself before the screen resumed.

/

"We aren't interested…" said Ruby, the heat and tone of her voice giving Yang and Pyrrha pause as an angry Ruby is something not seen very often. "…you can keep your cheat Pyrrha. I want nothing to do with him."

"What the hell are you talking about!" shouted back Pyrrha. The love and comradery from their tearful reunion apparently forgotten.

Before Ruby could shout back Jaune started snapping his fingers. Everyone looks at him while he just looks at Pyrrha with a sad smile.

"Beacon... I'll find somewhere to stay."

Before he could turn away, Jaune heard something coming.

"SALUATIONS..!" A green and orange missile slammed into Jaune at ludicrous speed. The resulting dust cloud obscured Jaune and Penny from Pyrrha, Yang and Rubys view. As the dust settled the 3 woman looked on as Penny straddled Jaunes lap at the bottom of a small crater, holding him down with his arms being held above his head by her. Jaune looked up and smirked at Pennys' gorgeous grinning face. "…It is good to see you lover Jaune. I am hopeful we can continue a physical sexual relationship now that you have returned. I am sorry that my duties to Atlas caused a premature end to our previous relationship, however with Atlas' fall I am no longer bound by those duties."

Penny was just as bubbly and cheerful as ever, and she had apparently upgraded. When he last saw her she had undergone several modifications to allow her to appear the same age as her peers, apparently it looks like she's upgraded again although Jaune couldn't figure out where those upgrades took place with Atlas haven fallen. A cream coloured blouse covered her fair skin and modest bust, with her usually green suspenders framing them and holding up her green dress with a green and black hem. Her shapely legs went uncovered aside from her high black boots that reached up most of her legs towards her firm, rounded bottom.

Confusion came over him just then, Penny seemed, lighter. Her skin felt softer. He could feel heat and moisture coming from her breath, and her eyes looked…imperfect, but so much more beautiful. Jaune pulled his arms out of Pennys grip and signed.

"What happened to you?"

Penny sat up still sitting on Jaune and placed her hands on her hips and was about to answer when she flew upwards and away. Then Jaune noticed Pyrrha walking towards him with an annoyed expression.

"Does this usually happen when you arrive at civilization. We haven't even been here and hour!"

/

"Are we about to start fighting over Jaune. Cause that ain't fair. Pyrrha can literally pulls us around by our limbs from metres away." commented Yang, actually finding the situation funny.

"All's fair in love and war Yang!" shouted Nora striking a boxing pose on Rens' lap.

"Why is that Ruby so angry. She looks, furious." said Ruby, scrutinising her older self on screen.

"Probably ain't getting enough. You're 32 in this I think, and there's only 1 guy for every 8 girls…" Nora than suddenly struck a thinking pose. "…although that does beg the question why she isn't jumping on the Jaune-Jaune train. She can't be that annoyed by his fake transcripts 15 years on."

/

"What are you idiots doing? Why are you fighting over this cheat! You know what he did!" shouted Ruby, by this point some of the local residents took notice of what was going on and a few called the Fang informing them there might be trouble.

Yang, Pyrrha and Penny looked at Ruby a little confused. They were all perfectly aware that Jaune faked his transcripts in order to attend Beacon, but that's not really all that bad compared to what some people who snuck into Beacon did.

"He acquired forged documents in order to attend Beacon Academy. Cheap ones I might add, the Headmaster at the time was fully aware of the fake nature of said documents and still allowed Jaune to attend, however he was forced to remove Jaune from Beacon when the possibility of the general public and student body discovering this fact." answered Penny, trying to be helpful.

"What he did was take the place of someone worthy. Someone who could have made a difference in the battles we've fought. Someone who could have prevented the deaths of Nora, Ren and Weiss!" shouted Ruby, tears falling down her face.

Penny slowly walked over as Pyrrha and Yang looked on. Gobsmacked that Ruby would hold this in for so long without telling either of them. Penny placed a hand on her shoulder calmly and stroked Rubies hair.

"I'm sorry friend Ruby, but I believe you are mistaken…" Rubies head shot up when Penny said that and starred with tear filled wide eyes at her friend. "…I have detailed data on all the engagements that occurred within range of the CCT network up until my change, remember. Not even the presence of full huntsmen would have changed what happened. Also, your year at Beacon after initiation, wasn't full. If Jaune didn't attend, odds are there would not have been someone else on team JNPR."

"You don't know that." contested Ruby, taking a step away from Penny.

"You are right. I do not know for certain. However I can extrapolate possible scenarios based on the data I have available. Such as Jaunes extreme rise in proficiency before his departure from Beacon. His combat record to date as well as his pivotal roles during the Mistral Marches, the Calamity and the Fall of Atlas. I believe if he had stayed at Beacon, he maybe even more powerful than he is even now…" Penny looked over her shoulder at Jaune as he starred at her wide eyed himself. He had no idea Penny thought of him so highly. Ruby followed Pennys' gaze, her eyes were still narrowed when she looked at him, but they weren't filled with hated. Mainly just pain and sadness. "…it is not Jaunes fault that our friends were taken from us. It is Salems, and that is where you should direct your hate." finished Penny as she enveloped Ruby in a hug and just held her as she started to cry and let out the pain she'd been holding.

/

"That's why she's so angry. She blamed Jaune for our deaths." said Weiss quietly as they watched Penny comfort this older version of Ruby.

"Well, she isn't wrong to think that. With the information she had it's not an unreasonable leap of logic to place the blame on their Jaune." threw in Ren.

"That Penny is so different from ours. You can tell that she's more mature and worldly than the Penny we knew." said Blake.

"No kidding. Our Penny wouldn't have had a clue how to comfort Ruby. She was so nice though." finished Yang.

"Hey Jaune, how'd this Penny survive the Vytal Festival where ours didn't?" asked Nora, she only met Penny briefly, but she liked her. Penny gave proper hugs unlike nearly everyone else she knew.

"She didn't. Cinders plans worked out just as they did in your universe. Her components were retrieved, and she was rebuilt. Odds are good your Penny went through something similar." answered Jaune. Everyone turned to face him and a whirlwind of rose petals flew into his face.

"What!? Our Pennys' alright!" shouted Ruby.

"She MAYBE alright. Going back to your universe to check will reset all our progress. As I said, the odds are good. Just don't get to excited about it…" cautioned Jaune as Ruby started bouncing up and down with excitement. "…I can't tell the future. All I can give you is an educated guess. However it is likely." Ruby nodded, but Jaune could tell that her hopes were up anyway and she sped off back to her friends, throwing more petals into his face that he waved aside.

/

Eventually Pyrrha and Yang joined the hug as well and just allowed Ruby to vent the feeling she'd been holding in all this time with no one to vent them at. Jaune started to feel like a third, or fourth wheel. He was about to turn and leave to look for anywhere to stay when 3 Manta bullheads flew low overhead and started circling with their forward mounted weapons trained on the group. Each bullhead looked to be repurposed Atlas vehicles, each now painted green on the dorsal half to match the forests around Kuo Kuana and a light blue on the ventral half to match the clear blue sky, and on either side of the nose and the midships hatches was the symbol of the Fang. A circular gold wreath with a detailed and stylised Wolfs head in the centre, but instead of the wolfs head looking down either passively or snarling, these ones had the head facing upwards and howling like it was announcing its presence.

/

"Ohh. That looks awesome!" said Nora, luckily Ren stopped her when she was about to start howling.

"That does look really cool. Hell of a lot better than that red one." commented Yang.

"It's so detailed. The original was done quickly and not really by anyone with any artist skill, since my dad did it. I wonder who drew that one?" said Blake. Really liking the look of this new symbol, not passive but also not aggressive. Something that just announces its presence and that of the people it represents.

/

The sides of the Bullheads then opened and teams made up of both Humans and Faunus started to repel on ropes or just jump out of their transports. They wore similar uniforms to the White Fang from its terrorist days, a black shirt and trousers under a larger sleeveless white shirt, however now they all wore actual body armour covered in pockets and spare weapons and ammunition with the small golden Fang symbol over the left side of their chests. These soldiers started to surround the 4 confused man and women before they seemed to recognise who they were. The man in charge raised his hand and relaxed and after a second his subordinates did the same.

"Bravo, Charlie, return to your Mantas and then the muster station. The only threat here is to my pride if Yang decks me." The men and women around this leader laughed or giggled before returning to their craft when they came into land. The man continued to walk towards the group, his tail wagging behind him. Jaunes eyes widen a bit as he recognised the man, last he saw him he was leading people out of Mantle with what remained of the Ace Ops. Marrow.

"Hey Wags. Why the troops, you're kind of interrupting our moment here." said Yang as she acknowledged Marrows presence, but didn't release her hug on Ruby.

"I hate that you and Robyn get along so well. Also, huntresses yelling at each other isn't good for local karma…" answered Marrow as he gestured at the surrounding locals who were worried for the safety of their homes with super powered people in close proximity and arguing. "…anyway, I'm sure you guys will be…" Marrow then turned towards Jaune and stopped. His eyes going wide in surprise and his mouth hanging open. "…Arc..?"

Jaune just nodded. Marrow walked over and poked Jaune in the shoulder.

"…Is it really you..?" asked Marrow. Jaune tilted his head slightly, a little confused, and nodded again. "…but, how?! You held back the Monstra and all its spawned Grimm as we escaped. You were still fighting as Atlas fell ontop of you. Just…How?" asked Marrow finally. Everyone in the area was looking at Jaune now, most of the residents recognised the name Arc and were coming forward, to hear that Jaune had not only broken the siege of their home, killing the worlds 2nd introduction to the Leviathan Class of Grimm, but then doing it again in Mantle.

/

"What the hell is a Monstra? Sounds, super bad." asked Nora.

"Oh it is. Think of it as a massive transport ship, that's a Grimm. Very tough and versatile, and it can create armies of Grimm every few minutes wherever it lands." answered Jaune.

"How'd Jaune beat it?" asked Weiss this time, taking her scroll and making notes.

"Well the one in Menagerie was a team effort. He worked with Blake and Ilia to coordinate the Fang against the creature. The Fang kept the Grimm contained while Jaune snuck in with a powerful explosive. It crippled the Grimm and prevented it from spawning more. Then Jaune just smashed everything that looked vital while the Fang fired everything they could from the outside. Eventually it died. The one attacking Mantle was just crushed under Atlas when it fell. The Monstra just couldn't compete against all that weight and was flattened."

"Hold up! This `super Grimm` can't take Atlas falling on it but Jaune can?" said Yang, sounding dubious.

"Jaune was lucky. Atlas isn't solid. He managed to punch through a weak point in the bottom by sheer luck before he was knocked out by debris. Luckily his aura held out or he'd have died too."

"The Arc…?"

"Is that really him..?"

"He's really returned..?"

The people that had gathered were now muttering to themselves excitedly, Marrow looked around quickly and thought better of having this conversation here.

"All the Fang have orders to bring you straight to the Manor should you ever return to Menagerie. Please come with me. The High Leaders and the Chieftain Council will want to speak with you." Marrow then turned and gestured to the Manta.

"Ok…" signed Jaune, he then turned to the group of women, but signed only to Pyrrha. "…Coming?"

Pyrrha nodded and followed Jaune as he followed Marrow to the ship, Penny, Yang and Ruby followed Pyrrha.

"I guess finding somewhere to stay will have to wait." said Pyrrha as she sat down near Jaune since he remained standing.

"I wouldn't worry. Knowing Kali, and going on what Marrow said I think you won't have to worry about where to sleep, or paying for anything from the sounds of it. So…vomit boy is this `Arc` we keep hearing…" started Yang as the Manta sped across the rooftops of Kuo Kuana.

Jaune took in the scenery as Pyrrha, Yang, Penny and occasionally Ruby caught up with each other.

Thankfully most of the city remained the same, the deeper you got into it. The warm, rustic buildings still mostly made of local wood. The place had improved though. Cobble roads were now everywhere and trees had been moved into the city and were being used as support for powerlines. Jaune looked further and noted wind turbines out to sea and in the other direction on top of hills. Luckily Kuo Kuanas power needs were still small and could be supported without Dust powerplants. When the Manor came into view Jaunes eye widened a bit. It looked very different.

The most obvious, and clashing difference being the CCT antenna sticking out the middle. Ruined the whole place in Jaunes opinion. The huge triangular mass of metal sticking out of the wooden and now concrete structure just didn't fit at all.

Jaune also noticed that the building had gotten a lot larger. Where once it had been the home of Menageries Leaders, now it was plainly just a government building. This saddened Jaune a bit, he had fond memories of Ghira and Kali in their home, even during the siege, and he and Blake had been able to plan well in Ghiras office. However, coordinating the Fang, or any other left over armies from the other nations and planning and fighting a war on a global scale just isn't something that can be done in your living room. The Manta came round to the back of the building and landed in a flat clear area filled with numbered, Manta sized circles on the ground.

Everyone hopped out and followed Marrow towards the building. Around halfway the doors flew open and Kali ran out and launched herself at Jaune. Jaune smirked when he heard Pyrrha facepalm.

Kali gave Jaune a death hug before holding him at arm's length and looking him over.

"Good. You don't look too worse for wear. I've convinced everyone to gather in the Mess Hall instead of the Council Chambers. A good spread's being put out for you since it's nearly lunch. Marrow dear, I'd offer to let you eat too but you know how Blakey gets when I mess with her force deployments."

"It's no issue Ma'am. Thank you for the offer. Anyway…I've done my bit, so I'll get back to work." Marrow then bowed slightly and returned to his Manta.

Penny then rushed over. "A Spread! Anything new?!" she squealed.

Kali just looked down at Penny and winked. "Always for you sweety..."

/

"Are you telling me that my mum doesn't act any more mature than she is now?" asked Blake, clearly exasperated.

"What? I think she seems great. Why aren't more leaders like this?" shouted Yang. Thinking how much better the world would be if everyone actually cared about people.

"You didn't have to grow up with her. She can be so embarrassing." muttered Blake as she shielded her eyes from what she just knew might be coming.

/

"…I hope you are still unattached Jaune, you seem even stronger than when you were last here. My little Blakey and her Ilia still haven't found someone worthy of impregnating them." finished Kali.

/

"And there it is. Good lord I just want to bury myself in the sand right now." said Blake as everyone else just started sniggering.

/

Pyrrha just turned and glared at Jaune while he shrugged before signing.

"Sorry Kali. I am now taken. Difficult to believe Blake and Ilia couldn't find someone they both like?"

"Oh I know. I guess one good thing about the 'End Times', is that all the unworthy men died a long time ago when they tried to take advantage of the situation. However Blake and Ilia can be so picky."

"Well. They are lesbians Mrs Belladonna. They don't like guys in that way to begin with." Started Yang.

"Yeah, and with the fall of nearly every other kingdom they can't go for IVF. If they want children, they'll have to either adopt, which would be super easy now, or bite the bullet and play a round of hide the sausage."

/

"Oh my Oum! What did I just say!" shouted Ruby as her eyes went wide and her delicate little hands cupped her face as it started to go red.

/

"You can stop now Mother." ordered Blake as she stood at the top of the small flight of stairs leading up to the main doors. She was just as commanding, and a beacon of confidence and resolve as when Jaune last saw her. Standing tall and proud before the odd gathering meandering towards the main doors.

She seemed to be wearing a mix of clothing now compared to the black and white cloths she favoured before. She was wear a tight red cheongsam style dress with a white floral pattern running round her and trimmed in gold hugged her body and stopped just on her thighs. Curving round her full breasts and toned stomach. Covering her legs were a pair of black Sarong Trousers loosely fitted and gently moving in the gentle breeze coming in off the sea. These trousers were held up by a thick leather belt with what appeared to be a Vale Army bronze buckle. Over it all was a white and slightly worn, white Atlas military coat with the arms turned up and Gambol Shroud mag locked to the magnetic plates on the coats back. Her Faunus heritage was proudly displayed on the top of her head as her ears twitched slightly in irritation at her mothers behaviour, her long black hair was now tied back into a ponytail that ended in the middle of her back. However, like ever time that Jaune saw Blake, he was drawn straight to her eyes. Fierce golden eyes seemed to slightly glow even during the day as her penetrating gaze seemed to lock onto him and peer into his soul.

/

"Wow. You, look, awesome." said Yang, putting an arm around Blake and pointing at the screen. Blake was just staring, she always thought of herself more as a fearful girl and a coward rather than the person she's looking at on screen now. The Blake she's looking at looks like she would never run, never back down, never accept anything other than her earned due. Blake was wishing to herself that despite what's being displayed in screen being another universe, that she would grow and become what she was seeing.

"Odd fashion choice though. It's like you picked something from every Kingdom, looks good though." threw in Weiss, Blake just smirk and rolled her eyes.

/

Jaune walked forward and respectfully bowed for a few seconds before signing.

"Hello Highleader. It is good to see you." signed Jaune, smiling at one of the few friends that remained to him after he was kicked out of Beacon.

"You too Jaune. We feared the worst as time went on without contact." replied Blake holding herself upright and calm before the group of people.

"Menagerie was secure. The immediate threat past. I needed to help others in worst condition. I have missed this place."

Blake suddenly leaped forward and crashed into Jaune and hugged him for all that she was worth. Jaune hugged her back. He had really missed Blake, and Ilia, Chieftain Belladonna and Kali. Blake was the first person from Beacon he meet after leaving, it took time and a great many hardships had the be weathered but he earned her friendship and respect and worked closely together to keep Menagerie safe and reorganise the White Fang into the Fang, Menageries permanent and professional military.

"It is so good to have you back." whispered Blake as Jaune hugged her a little tighter.

"So you're the commotion. At least Kali didn't have time to arrange a parade." said Ilia before running out from the main doors and trying to tackle Blake and Jaune in a hug. The hug worked but Ilia still being a very petite woman had no chance of destabilising Jaune.

She was dressed in the standard Fang uniform, and looking much happier about it compared to the old White Fang uniform. Her big smile, sparkling eyes and long flowing hair shifting in colour as the feels shone out for all to see. Lighting Lash still sitting at the small of her back.

Jaune released them both after a few seconds.

"Could do with a parade. Boost positive feeling and morale." signed Jaune with a smirk.

"I bet. The female population would definitely get a boost. Although I think Pyrrha would explode." commented Yang. Throwing her thumb over her shoulder at Pyrrha who was presenting a forced smile and standing a little rigid.

/

"Wow. Who knew Pyrrha was the jealous type." muttered Yang to herself.

/

Blake and Ilia let go of Jaune just then when they noticed the expression on the powerful huntresses face. Everyone started to walk into the building talking animatedly to each other, but Jaune stayed behind and held Pyrrha behind too, gently placing his hands on her shoulders before signing.

"What is wrong? These are friends? Do you really think I would accept another now?" asked Jaune.

"I've wanted this…you, for as long as I can remember now. You are finally mine, guess I lost my senses there for a second."

"More like 30 minutes…" signed Jaune as Pyrrha pouted. "…I am yours now. Have trust and faith in me like I have in you. No one can take me away. Am one women man. That woman is you."

/

"Ahh. That's so sweet." squealed Ruby.

"It must be nice being able to have that must trust in a person. Have to say, even I think that Jaune is probably one of the few people that can be trusted completely." said Weiss as she seemed to retreat into her own mind dreaming for a few moments.

/

Pyrrha shook her head and laughed briefly.

"Charmer." She then leaped into Jaune arms and planted and heated kiss on his lips as he held her up.

"You two should hurry up before Penny eats everything." shouted Kali from the main door with a knowing smirk on her face.

Jaune took Pyrrhas hand and walked with her into the building.

/

The screen on the main console then turned back to its default settings, displaying a large digital chart.

"Is that it? I was hooping to see more. Like what's your dad like? He anything like your mum?" asked Yang.

"No thankfully. His much more serious, and intimidating to those that don't know him. He's a little larger than the this Jaune, and his trait is from a Panther. He is like a solid rock for everyone that needs him. My mother is a flowing river that sooths him and smoothed out his rough edges. I miss them." answered Blake. Yang walking over and giving her a quick hug.

"Don't worry Blake. You'll get back to Menagerie and then you can introduce us. It'll be great, and your coming too…" shouted Ruby pointing at a surprised Weiss. "…no friends of mine is being left behind!" finished Ruby as she swept into and brought her whole team into a hug.

"Still nothing on how trained him." muttered Qrow to Ozma as the girls hugged, Nora having joined and knocking them all onto the deck.

"Be patient. We could be in here for a long time yet. I'm sure the answers will come. If all else fails we could just ask our host himself before he sends us home." answered Ozma.

The room then started to glow brighter and brighter with the girls still on the deck while Blake screwed her eyes shut, and then in a flash they were all off again.
