**********************Storybrooke Present Day*****************************
"Listen to me Regina. I promise Mary Margret and I will do everything in our power to keep Sarah from marrying Richard. Out of everyone in the world you know more than anyone that I keep my promises. And this one is more important than any promise I will ever make to you...but I promise I will stop any wedding between them. Even if it means going to war."
Regina's sniffling stopped as she whipped her head up and over at David as he continued to hold her close as they walked towards her house.
"David..."
"Your my sister. She's my niece. I may not be a real prince..."
"You really are a moron." Regina said in a way that made her sound like her old self with the way she cut him off and the annoyance in her voice.
David tried to keep from smiling at her words as Regina rolled her eyes at him.
"Right. Sorry...still trying to get use to that." David said with a small smirk and a nod.
"How much did she tell you?" Regina asked with a wince.
David knew Regina was referring to his conversation with Cora...their mother. Thankful that the tears had seemed to stop he let out a sigh of an answer.
"A lot. Maybe not all of it but..." David stopped himself as what Cora had told him about the 'three' of them being 'enough' stopped him short. Since Zelena had shown up he had not requestioned Cora. Because in all honesty he could see the similarities between himself and Zelena almost instantly. They both were pale. They both had light colored hair...more than likely a trait from Cora. But Cora had distinctly said that she knew that the baby she had been carrying was King George's. Which...would mean that the Cora from their dimension knew that Regina was King George's child...and not Prince Henry's. Which also raised the question...of how?!
Regina had loved her father. David knew that finding out that King George was her father from Sarah had shocked her enough. He didn't have it in him to even discuss it again. But the fact that Zelena had made reference over and over of King George being her father had caused a whole new slew of questions to surge up.
"But you and Zelena are my sisters. We share a mother. Because of that we're always going to be linked. The details of how exactly that is are great but in the end...you're stuck with me. As weird as it sounds you have a baby brother."
"David...I know this is...beyond awkward for the both of us. Hell if you would have asked me a month ago if I could ever consider confiding in you with anything personal I would have laughed hysterically." Regina stopped walking which caused David to stop as she looked at him making David instantly worry.
"But right now I'm beyond scared that I have two baby brothers and an older sister that I really don't know anything about and desperately wish I did...because I can't handle all of this without confiding in someone and KNOWING...knowing that I'm not going to be stabbed in the back or manipulated or..."
David had winced at the 'two baby brothers' but instantly he reached out and grabbed Regina's shoulder.
"GINA! I swear...I swear I am here for you! You, Sarah, Cora, James, Zelena, Snow, Emma, and Henry...you are all my family. God! As of a few hours ago I mentally prepared myself to defend Rumplestiltskin and Neal for the rest of my life because of Sarah! They're my family too and nothing...NOTHING is more important to me."
Regina looked at David with blood shot eyes trying to stop the constant battle in her head of being able to trust anyone. Let alone David.
"Look. I love Snow with everything in me. By now you know I'd do anything for her. But...if you need me, I'm there for you. And I know I can say that now by having seen you take care of Little Snow and Baby Snow and God if that isn't just strange to just say. But I know for certain now that you love her too! And I know you'd never ask me to do anything to hurt her." David said with a small laugh causing even Regina to laugh and look down to hide a wince.
"If I needed your help...and I made you swear that you could never tell Snow about it...would you be able to do it?" Regina said softly, but the other Regina's heard her and suddenly knew that the conversation wasn't just about what happened with King Richard. Something else that they didn't know about was causing this other version of themselves to not just confide in David...but even ask for his help.
And for that to be the case, both Madam Mayor and Queen Regina knew it was big.
Mr. Charming felt himself hold his breath. Because even though it wasn't he and Madam Mayor striking the deal, he felt exactly like this younger version of himself. If any of the Regina's needed him...he would be there. And with the question she had just asked, his loyalty to his wife was going to be put to the test.
David said nothing for a second and finally answered. "As long as it doesn't hurt our family...I'll help you."
Regina closed her eyes and lowered her head with a nod.
"You know how...baby Snow came here with Queen Eva..." Regina began.
"Yes..." David said already afraid of where this was going.
"The umm...baby...I need to do something to make sure the future doesn't change..." Regina began cryptically - terrifying even her other selves at the implication.
"Regina..."
"The baby has magic." Regina said and then looked up at David with a stern look that let him know she was completely serious.
"WHAT?" The question echoed by the four surrounding Regina making her squeeze her eyes closed as she tried to hold back just how much she was trusting David and even...Mr. Charming right now.
"Look! I don't know how she has magic but she does!" Regina immediately lied and knew her other two selves would indeed know that she was lying. "The fact of the matter is...she does! And it's extremely powerful already! And if we don't bind her powers now before she leaves...Emma...will never exist! HENRY...will never exist!" Regina's words rang with slight panic making her all the more believable.
David pulled away from Regina as Mr. Charming let go of both Madame Mayor and Queen Regina.
"How..."
"I don't know..."
"But..."
"David I need you! I can't go to Rumple or Rumplestiltskin or whatever the hell he's calling himself now... and with everything that's happening the less people know the better! But I need supplies! And I have no way of getting what I need...which is at the pawn shop." Regina finally revealing why she needed his help.
David stared at Regina and though he felt something was off...he could tell she was dead serious about the reason.
With her arms crossing as she felt insecure about asking this of him, she looked up and down. "I'm not lying. I need to bind her powers."
"We know you're not." Mr. Charming said startling Madame Mayor and Regina.
"How did you find out she has magic?" Queen Regina asked baffled at the news.
Regina turned and looked at the older version of herself and soo much wanted to share the truth of everything...and knew that it would be a secret till her dying breath. As much as she had hurt Snow in the past, she knew all of that ended a few short hours ago.
"Zelena...she...she was playing with that stupid stuffed animal..." Regina said shaking her head and rolling her eyes.
"And...you don't think Zelena is playing a joke?" Madame Mayor asked.
"Nooo... Zelena is a jokester like James but...magic is the one subject we don't joke about like that." Queen Regina immediately put that accusation to rest.
"What exactly do you need us to get?" Mr. Charming asked shocking Madame Mayor.
Regina took one look at him and then back at David.
David nodded his head.
They were in.
That's when they felt the wave of magic roll through them and the night sky became light blue of midday.
Queen Regina's head went back and groaned loudly.
"What the hell was that?" Madame Mayor asked making Regina laugh slightly as well as Queen Regina.
"Sarah." David said shaking his head and already grabbing his forehead and rubbing.
"Well...let's go home and wait to see what happened this time." Regina said turning still with her arms folded and shaking her head.
"This child is going to be the death of me." Queen Regina muttered and Regina giggled with a smile forming on her lips, looking over at David she saw a little smirk on his own face.
It was good...this...feeling that she had at the moment.
She didn't know what to call it but...for now...with everything that was weighing down her soul - it was a moment of reprieve.
Suddenly a flash of magic and Cora was there in front of them.
Regina and Madame Mayor felt their heart quicken hoping to heaven that their mother hadn't heard a thing they had been talking about. All three Regina's knowing exactly what her mother would do if she found out that a baby version of Snow White had magic.
"Little Snow's been asking for you. Their is another version of Dr. Whale at the hospital which led me and...the other me to conclude that Sarah has once again brought us to another version of this town. More likely into the future of it with the slight aging of the people we saw." Cora said and Regina instantly panicked that something was wrong with her daughter and without a second more vanished in a puff of purple smoke.
"Does this happen often?" Cora asked Queen Regina with a furrowed brow.
"No. No mother. We usually keep a close eye on the magic that Sarah uses and...to protect her...she barely ever uses it."
David and Mr. Charming along with Madame Mayor looked at Queen Regina with the question 'why' written across their faces.
Queen Regina braced herself and her heart for what she was going to say. Every time she thought it...her heart hurt more and more.
How her daughter's had become the dark one...and how her baby girl had almost died. And why the use of magic was used limitedly by Sarah.
Then...she told them the story, and watched how this other version of herself looked horrified and scared for Sarah the more she learned.
David and Mr. Charming looking like they were straining as they heard the story.
And Cora...she looked...she looked devastated that she had not been able to stop any of it.
All five of them stood still on the sidewalk when "Oh my God" was heard and they looked over to see another version of themselves and another older version of Henry.
Without waiting one more second Queen Regina began moving towards this other version of herself in a little bit of a huff.
"What's going on?!" Henry Swan asked in a bit of fear as he saw this older version of the woman he was standing next to dressed in an old ballgown make her way towards them.
"I'm sorry for any inconvenience, but my daughter Sarah's magic is causing all of these different versions of people from this time to...merge together in one plane...so to speak."
"Magic?!" Henry Swan asked as he looked between the woman in front of him and the four other's behind her.
"Mother?!" Ms. Miller gasped as she saw the woman who she thought would be lost to her forever.
"Ten bucks says she starts yelling." David said looking over at Mr. Charming.
Madame Mayor looked over at him with an almost disgusted look. "I do not yell!"
Mr. Charming just smirked and looked over at her and without a word took out a ten dollar bill and passed it to David.
David smirked and didn't look over at Madame Mayor as he placed it in his pocket and then turned and looked at her.
"Didn't say who would start yelling."
Madame Mayor rolled her eyes at her brother and Cora gave him a slight smack to the back of his head which only made David smirk at his mother who in turn returned the look with a smirk of her own.
"Be nice to your sisters. I put them through a lot." Cora said and then smoothed his hair back and then pulled her hand away as though she was fighting herself to continue the act of caressing his head.
David just watched her and let himself acknowledge that she was trying to act decent towards him, and he would do the same.
Leaning over he gave her a quick kiss on the cheek and said, "Yes Ma'am." Then without another second followed Madame Mayor towards Queen Regina.
Mr. Charming took a second to look a little thrown but...knowing if a younger version of himself could accept Cora...he would as well.
"It is kind of our job to mess with them." Mr. Charming said with a smirk of his own.
Cora gave a little laugh. "Then do your job well...but responsibly. And if they use magic against you yell for me! I won't let them hurt their baby brothers.
Mr. Charming felt a wave of sadness hit him as he thought about his twin, but lowering his head he nodded at Cora.
"Yes Ma'am."
Cora knew that this older version of her son felt odd and knew only one thing could ease it.
Reaching over she placed both hands surrounding his head and pressed her lips to his forehead and closed her eyes tightly thinking of how utterly stupid and selfish she had been in her life.
Mr. Charming tried to hold his emotions in check but a second later raised his head and kissed her cheek and pulled her into his arms for a hug trying to control his aching heart.
Madame Mayor turned to see what had caught the attention of Ms. Mills and felt her heart twist as she watched her mother give affection to her version of David.
It hurt to see her be so free with her affection to others when it had all been harsh words and magic bindings for her.
But...she let out a deep breath and allowed the anger to flow away from her as she looked up into the shocked face of her son.
"Henry are you ok?" Madame Mayor asked which only caused the boy to look at her in confusion.
Ms. Mills looked between these other obvious versions of herself and braced herself for the ramifications of what was about to happen.
"Henry doesn't remember...anything about Storybrooke. He and Emma had to leave to escape the last curse."
Queen Regina and Madame Mayor just stared at Ms. Mills in shock.
"Another curse?" David asked, not sure he even wanted to know.
"Wait...what are you talking about?!" Henry Swan asked unsure what was happening and not knowing if he should be running to find his mom.
Princess Emma suddenly appeared holding a laughing baby Henry and trying to control her own laughter.
"Emma what's soo.." Queen Regina began and couldn't help but feel her spirits instantly lift at the sign of her granddaughter and great grandson laughing. Nothing could make someone smile faster than the sound of a baby laughing which is what happened to the entire group. All of them began to laugh without even knowing why.
"Gran...Grandma...you...you need to..." Princess Emma couldn't even talk as she continued to laugh and cry at the hysterics of the situation. Her baby boy laughing caused by everyone else's laughter.
"Sarah..." Princess Emma finally said and Queen Regina and Madame Mayor's laughing slowly stopped and it took a few seconds more for the others to as well, but both knew it couldn't be bad if both child and mother were laughing.
"Sarah needs a little help from you." Princess Emma couldn't help but laugh out the last little bit.
"She's flipping out." Ms. Swan said as she saw the way this pregnant version of her mother was looking between them all with wild eyes as she gasped.
"Definitely flipping out." Emma said and closed her eyes and started to ward off the headache that had wanted to form earlier.
"Mom's going to kill us!" The older Henry said as he looked between the startled faces of these grandparents of his and this other version of his Aunt Lena.
"Give me back my pendant!" Midwife Zelena screamed as soon as she was able to, almost instantly turning green!
"Umm...no." Sarah said without wincing as this version of her Aunt got in her face.
"Just because I don't have my pendant doesn't mean I don't have my magic!" She growled as she raised her hand which glowed green, shocking both Mr. Nolan and Pregnant Snow.
"Oh I'd like to see you try!" Sarah nodded her head smiling widely at Midwife Zelena and watched with an amused smirk as she tried to bring down her hand towards Sarah and found that no matter how hard she tried...she couldn't for the life of her even bring down her arm with the green fireball.
Sarah just kept tilting her head looking at her with that amused smirk on her face which made Princess Emma barely stifle a laugh causing Midwife Zelena to turn angry eyes at her.
"Aunt Zelena you made sure your magic could never harm Sarah. You did it when she was six! The most you can do is smack her in the back of her head!" Princess Emma laughed but then her smile dropped when Sarah turned with wide eyes at her.
"EMMA!" Sarah screeched and then the slap to the back of the head came.
"OW!" Sarah screamed and rubbed the back of her head immediately.
"GIVE IT BACK!"
"NO!" Sarah screamed and then ducked away before her Aunt could hit her again.
"GIVE IT!" Midwife Zelena screamed out angrily raising her hand to hit Sarah again.
"GRANDMA!" Princess Emma yelled out causing Mr. Nolan and Pregnant Snow to snap their eyes from the scene to the much younger looking Emma and both sucked in their breaths and held them as suddenly right in front of them between Sarah and Midwife Zelena - Queen Cora stood.
"Sit down!" Queen Cora said each word slowly as she saw the shock on Midwife Zelena's face and moved towards her daughter causing Midwife Zelena to shrink back from her almost on instinct and moved forward again causing Midwife Zelena to practically fall into the chair sitting sideways as it was the chair that Mr. Nolan had been sitting in.
"Please explain to me why your attacking your niece and why do you have such a ridiculous outfit on?!" Queen Cora asked as she looked over her eldest daughter.
"Um...Grandma...that's a different Aunt Zelena." Emma said with a grimace.
Queen Cora turned and looked at Emma and then immediately turned around and looked at Sarah who had on her puppy dog 'don't kill me' face that she had become accustomed to over the years.
Queen Cora closed her eyes and let out huge sigh of resignation that yet again Sarah had caused yet another version of them to exist together. Turning back she looked at a younger version of her eldest daughter and slowly allowed her anger to melt away and slowly knowing just how wild her daughter had been all those years ago brought her hand slowly to her cheek and gazed at her with a very small smile gracing her painted lips.
"I'm sorry. Sarah has always been a trouble maker but you've never raised your hands to her. It made me angry that you ever could."
Midwife Zelena was always ready with a witty response but found herself unable to even speak at being in the presence of her mother.
She had...dreamed of this moment. A million times! To be able to...have her touch her and feel her...it was...
"She was going to hurt Uncle David and Snow, Grandma! Look!" Sarah said as she pointed to the ground where Mr. Nolan had spilled the 'tea' he had been ready to drink and winced as she did so.
Midwife Zelena instantly froze and glared openly at the girl Sarah and then at her mother.
Queen Cora looked down and immediately noticed the flex of crystals that made her suck in her breath as she recognized the nightroot immediately.
"Why were you giving your brother nightroot?!" Queen Cora immediately asked with anger in her eyes.
"Brother?!" Pregnant Snow looked between her husband and who she thought would be her midwife and it was as if blinders had been taken off.
They DID look alike. Ms. Swans words from earlier finally making sense. Same blue eyes. Reddish blonde hair. And as odd as it was to say the same pale skin, well, normally!
Mr. Nolan stared openly at Midwife Zelena and then turned and just stared at Queen Cora.
Midwife Zelena doing the same. Looking between Queen Cora and Mr. Nolan.
"ANSWER ME ZELENA!" Queen Cora commanded and Zelena winced even at her age feeling the weight of authority of her mother.
"I wanted to take the baby and go back in time..." Midwife Zelena found the words out of her mouth before she could stop herself.
"Zelena!" Queen Cora immediately knowing EXACTLY what Midwife Zelena had planned on doing.
"It wasn't as though I knew he was my brother!" Midwife Zelena grounding out the last word in distaste and anger.
"How?" Mr. Nolan found himself gasping the question, not understanding the possibility of any of this.
"That's a long story." Emma grumbled as she sat down at the table and with one hand held up her chin as she watched the exchange between this version of her father and Queen Cora.
Ms. Swan who also wanted to watch this particular conversation unfold sat beside her and leaned on the table almost to look closer at Midwife Zelena as she saw the subtle differences between this woman and the Aunt Zelena she had met earlier.
"One I'd love to hear." Ms. Swan said as she stared openly at her Aunt in wonder of how all of this connected since only a few seconds before she had learned that her aunt was the Wicked Witch of the West.
"Should we come back later?" Anna asked from the doorway with Elsa which caused Mr. Nolan to finally notice who exactly was there.
"Anna?!"
"Hi David!" Anna said brightly smiling with a wave and he would have returned the greeting if not for the very distinct 'Ow' that was heard.
Everyone turned their heads to see Sarah was leaned over and trying to rub her bottom and was moving in odd ways as if she were trying to stretch.
"What's the matter?" Ingrid asked from the doorway.
"OW!" Sarah yelled out and leaned over the rocking chair that was near the stairs.
"What is it?!" Helga yelled from outside of the room in slight fear and trying to enter with everyone clogging up the doorway when none other than James pushed through along with Malcolm who climbed the stairs frantically at hearing his wife call out in pain and both immediately went to Sarah.
Snow, Mary Margret, and Mrs. Charming who was carrying Baby Snow still and pushed their way through the crowd to see what had happened to their sister.
"What's the matter?!" James said as he went to touch Sarah where her hands were and unfortunately thinking that something was biting her took a strong grab.
"OWOW!" Sarah screamed and slapped his hand away, which lasted a second before with a curious brow James pushed at her buttocks and Sarah screamed out again. "OOOOOOWWWW!"
And then the most unexpected thing possible happened.
James started laughing and turned to find his brother had just made it through the door and couldn't stop laughing as he looked at his identical twins worried face- his whole body shaking with laughter.
"What is it?!" Prince David asked only sparing a second to look at the other man that looked like them in the room and then quickly back to his brother who seemed to not be able to keep himself from laughing.
"She...she..." James couldn't stop laughing and with his whole frame shaking in laughter hunched over.
"STOP LAUGHING!" Sarah yelled which only caused James to laugh harder and barely take in air.
"WHAT?! WHAT JAMES?!" Queen Cora asked not understanding what was wrong with her granddaughter.
"She...she strained it..." And again sputtered and began to laugh again.
Of course the second the words were understood...everyone in the room tried to stop their laughter...but none succeeded!
Even Midwife Zelena began to laugh along with everyone.
"IT'S NOT FUNNY!" Sarah yelled. "Owwww...Snow stop laughing!"
But it only caused everyone's laughter to increase ten fold.
"STOP! IT'S NOT FUNNY! IT REALLY HURTS!" Sarah yelled and more 'owwww's' were said as she tried to just remain in a position that wouldn't hurt.
With everyone staring at Sarah who's bum was now higher than her head and squirming in every which way! It only caused everyone to laugh more.
"GRANDMA!" Sarah screamed not able to stand everyone staring at her butt and laughing.
Queen Cora took a few second to calm down and wipe away the few tears that had spilled and finally breathed out a steadying breath as everyone continued to laugh and made her way to her granddaughter.
"It hurts." Sarah said as her grandmother placed a hand on her behind and blocked people's view as she moved to take a better view and when she lifted slightly on Sarah's dress all laughter in her body ceased.
"Emma can you please bring her highness to see her daughter. She needs some assistance." Queen Cora kept the levity in her voice but inside her blood began to boil as she realized that Sarah had been keeping what had happened at her Grandfather's palace a secret, because what she saw showed a much darker story than what she had been told.
"Can't you just call...yourself and ask her to use magic?" Sarah asked knowing that her Grandmother had seen the bruises on her lower back. Ones that hadn't formed yet when she had arrived here in Storybrooke, but were now yellow and bluish purple. She knew that if her mother saw it that it didn't matter how she had been pleading with her family that marrying King Richard was the only way to stop King George.
They were about to find out why Sarah had been so adamant about needing Richard.
"Sure Grandma." Princess Emma said laughing and disappeared with baby Henry in her arms.
"Sorry Sarah..." Elsa said as she finally pulled herself together to know it wasn't right for everyone to be staring, and being the leader she was she was pulling everyone out the door.
"Snow...could you please come here a second..." Queen Cora said without a hint in her voice that her insides were quaking like a volcano.
Laughing still Snow approached her Grandmother and the second Queen Cora's hand touched her the laughing instantly stopped and her face dropped. Then the sight made her insides begin to tremble with suppressed rage.
Unfortunately the other Snow's instantly saw the difference in the older version of themself and their laughter stopped and immediately moved towards Sarah, even Pregnant Snow who felt compelled to see despite not having any bond with Sarah at all.
"Oh my God..." Mary Margret whispered at the sight of Sarah's lower back. Mrs. Charming's eyes bulging at the incredible array of bruises that seemed to travel up Sarah's lower back. Pregnant Snow just stared stunned as Midwife Zelena had watched the other women and immediately knew something was extremely wrong.
And it was when she saw the marks on Sarah's back did her heart feel a squeeze as looked at the obvious beating that Sarah had taken.
"Sarah..." James' voice was low as he saw what had really caused Sarah to scream out. When he had grabbed her he had pinched part of her upper back...right where it looked like someone had hit her with some kind of long object as it had left an imprint in the shape of a bruise.
"Don't let the others see. If they do..." Sarah whispered as she knew that what had been done to her was ground for war, and knew that her mother wasn't prepared for anything close to it. But with Ingrid and John here as well as Richard...they would have no other choice but to take up arms to honor their alliance. Her family would be at war...because she had not known what lengths her own Grandfather would go to win.
"We'd be at war..." Snow choked out the words and fisted her hands at the want to lash out at King George for hurting Sarah overwhelmed her suddenly.
"King George did that?" The youngest Henry asked in wide eyed horror and it quickly made the adults turn and look at the two children and immediately Emma and Ms. Swan blocked their view and quickly tried to take them upstairs and away from the sight, arguing with them to want to stay and make sure Sarah was alright.
Sarah let out a sigh. "I didn't want him to see this."
"Damn it Sarah I saw your back when were changing." Snow said as she felt anger at not getting to Sarah before this had happened.
"I used a glamour that Aunt Zelena taught me. I...I knew if you saw..." Sarah allowed the words to hang in the air.
"I'll kill him." James said with a look of determination on his face.
"Don't be stupid! It wasn't Grandpa George that did it...it was a witch that was there! I didn't even have time to see her she just..."
"King George?" Midwife Zelena asked as she now knew that if any version of herself had taught Sarah how to use a glamour...she was extremely loved and loyal to the girl. It wasn't in her to share magic or her tricks. She was involved in this little debacle wether she wanted to be or not.
"Your father." Queen Cora said shocking Mr. Nolan and Pregnant Snow along with Midwife Zelena.
"Please can someone just...heal me before..." Sarah began but no sooner had they left her mouth that Princess Emma returned with Baby Henry in arms along with the others and immediately Sarah closed her eyes as she felt the piercing gaze of her mother on her body and knew that the thing she had been dreading had arrived.
"Oh my God." Ms. Mills said as she stared at the bruised flesh in front of her and quickly jerked Older Henry towards her and away from the sight that he had seen and wished he hadn't as the image was not one he thought he could ever unsee.
"That bastard!" Madame Mayor's magic flared suddenly around the entire apartment causing everyone that had been walking outside of the building to immediately look up towards the windows to see what had caused the flare of magic.
"Moooom!" Sarah stretched the word out but Queen Regina was instantly there and leaning over and looking at her daughter eye to eye with tears already gathered there.
"Baby what did he do to you?" Knowing instantly that her father had done this to her daughter.
"It wasn't Grandpa...it was a witch that was there! He tried to get her to stop..." Sarah tried to explain that even as the invisible fight had been all but ordered by him, the second he heard her call out for him he had quickly tried to have who ever it was stop.
But whoever she was...she hadn't listened.
"Did he order it? Did he order them to do this to you Sarah?" Madame Mayor asked as her anger was barely being kept in check and had felt relief when she had let out the blast of magic but .
"Who ordered what?!" Ms. Mills asked still not knowing who they were all talking about.
"Our father ordered them to beat my daughter." Queen Regina said with rage clogging her throat.
That was when Ms. Mills looked back at the girl and jolted as she realized what the older version of herself had called the girl...and what the younger version of herself had...
The girl had called her...
"Momma please don't tell them. We're not ready for a war and if Aunt Ingrid finds out..."
"We won't be able to stop them from retaliating." Mr. Nolan said as he understood what this...Sarah had been worrying about.
"We need Richard mamma. We can't...we...we'll lose." Sarah finally said the words staring into her mothers sad eyes. The words that they never said. Hope. It was what had kept their family from every giving up. And it was now the thing she had soo little of as she felt the pain she had kept at bay with magic finally surging up her body.
She had pushed herself. Pushed herself thinking that it wouldn't be long before she were home and able to recuperate and strategize.
But what Sarah had seen in that castle that night...she knew that they needed an army that could decimate her grandfather on land, and magic that King Richard possessed that he had disclosed to her in private when she had visited him to write the betrothal.
Then Cora made her way over to Sarah and felt the heart in her chest crack in two at the sight when seen up close and placed her hand on Sarah and allowed her magic to begin to heal the area...which would take a great deal of time and a huge amount of her energy. But Regina was soon there with her as well as Midwife Zelena and Madame Mayor as they used the magic in them to take away the pain Sarah had been feeling.
Ms. Mills slowly allowed Henry Swan to pull back from her and he couldn't help himself form asking.
"Why was everyone laughing?"
Mr. Nolan was the one to respond. "We thought she had just hurt her backside. We hadn't seen..." Mr. Nolan swallowed and looked over at the obvious younger versions of himself from Storybrooke.
"I don't care if he's fully responsible or not...he ever does that to anyone else and I'll be the first one to push a sword through his chest."
Without words they agreed to the words but immediately Queen Cora was turning around and looking at him.
"I may hate everything about your father...but without him I wouldn't have had you or your sisters. I don't want to hear how you would kill him when I've kept myself from doing just that these past forty years!"
Mr. Nolan looked like he wanted to respond back, but a sidelook at the others and he knew not to say another word.
"What's everyone doing around..." The voice of Zelena as she appeared in the room stopping instantly at the sight of Sarah's back becoming the color of pale skin once more made the cheerfulness in her voice trail off as she looked over and found the sight of a duplicate of herself staring back at her.
But Zelena's body immediately brought her over to Sarah who was finally able to right herself a little more as Queen Regina pushed her hair back and watched Sarah's face as the pain she felt had been reflecting in twitches and grimaces of her face.
"Tell me he didn't. Tell me that no good..."
"Zelena!" Queen Cora admonished immediately as she moved over to her daughter and looked her straight in the eye.
"He's your father.."
"He can be a dead one." Zelena cut off her mother's attempt to make her respect the man that had denied her since her birth, but Zelena knew the instant she saw one mark on Sarah's body from the man who should have been protecting her.
But Sarah's focus wasn't on the words being said or the people in the room. She felt the darkness that lived in her being drawn close and her eyes that had closed popped open and she immediately winced as she stood up straight and was caught by none other than Malcolm when she whispered.
"Don't let him see me like this."
Malcolm knew immediately who and quickly pulled down Sarah's clothes to cover the marks on her back.
That's when all three Rumplestiltskin's arrived into the room.
"We were wondering what had caused that strong magic burst that came from here not but a few minutes ago and thought we might stop by and find out...exactly...what had caused it." Rumplestiltskin asked as he slowly made his way closer to his father and mother.
Snow and Mary Margret exchanged a look and both moved to block him from getting closer to Sarah.
"We were just talking about King George and why he was here. It upset Regina and...she got a little carried away." Mary Margret said with that cheerful fake smile she had always used when being pressured to lie.
"Mother was just telling her some of the things he has done in our...dimension." Snow said as she moved her body just enough to cover Sarah who was trying to distance herself from Malcolm, as she tried not to wince.
But of course Rum caught the discomfort. "Are you alright? You seem like your in pain."
"I'm fine Jason. Just..." Sarah forced herself to laugh, "I strained my backside trying to jump away from Aunt Zelena."
Midwife Zelena looked between the two with a curious look, but nothing prepared her for the next words out of the Dark One's mouth.
"Why do I feel like I'm being lied to by my own mother." The Crocodile asked as he looked around at the faces around them.
"Mother?!" Ms. Mills said in complete shock as well as Mr. Nolan and Pregnant Snow.
"Yes...Jason's my son." Sarah said with a look challenging anyone to say something about her son.
"Son?" Midwife Zelena asked looking between Sarah and the man who had tormented her and even...oh dear God!
"Aunt Zelena?" Sarah making a question out of her name making Midwife Zelena know that she wasn't going to be able to hide anything from this girl. With one word she could see that she had revealed something.
How had she gotten to this moment in time when instead of wanting revenge and justice for herself she was staring at faces that had filled her with hate and now stalled in everything she had wanted with the sight of her mother.
And the rest of what was obviously a close nit family with the way her older self was quietly fuming.
Family. A word she hadn't cared for or even truly considered and yet...here she was...about to reveal everything of a plan she had been devising for years just to not hurt a girl she barely knew.
"Zelena what aren't you saying?" Queen Cora asked as she looked at her daughter the way only a mother could to force them to say what they didn't want to.
Looking away from all the eyes that were suddenly on her and then back to Sarah she knew it was useless at this point. Sarah had her talisman and without it there was no way she would be able to do anything.
It didn't matter that she suddenly didn't have the desire to hurt who would be her nephew.
Wincing she said the words quickly.
"I have Rumplestiltskin locked up on my property."
"What?" Sarah asked softly not really believing what her Aunt was saying.
Rolling her eyes Midwife Zelena said it again. "I have Rumplestiltskin locked up on my property! I have the dagger in my bag! I was using him to..."
But before she could even finish saying anything it was Princess Emma that had immediately gone to the door and looked in the bag and pulled out the dagger with Rumplestiltskin's name on it. Holding baby Henry in one arm and the dagger in the other Princess Emma's eyes went wide.
"It doesn't have your name on it mom."
This caused everyone to turn and look at Snow. At least all those who didn't know already.
"What's she talking about?" David asked in disbelief as Snow turned and looked at the youngest version of her husband with a look of sadness.
Taking a deep breath she turned over her hand and right there in her palm was THE dagger...but it had not just her name on it...but Sarah's name as well.
"You've got to be joking." Pregnant Snow said as a nightmare she had never even thought of was suddenly alive and in living color in front of her.
"As much as I would...LOVE to explain it...WHAT?!" Sarah screamed out the question causing everyone to turn and stare at a never very livid momma bear.
"I ah..." Midwife Zelena couldn't even form words at seeing the anger in Sarah's face.
"Ok what the hell is..."
Everyone turned as the person entering was none other than Bounty Hunter Swan who looked immediately shocked at seeing the many duplicates of people.
"What the hell happened?!" She immediately asked then jerked away from the door when she saw a MUCH younger version of herself holding a baby and Rumplestiltskin's dagger. That's when Ms. Swan and Emma leaned over the railing along with the two younger Henry's.
"I was wondering when I'd show up." Ms. Swan said as she saw this other version of herself stare up with huge wide eyes.
"God I look terrible! Remind me not to drink so much coffee kid." Emma said to her Henry who just smiled and then frowned when he saw his Aunt Sarah staring up at him.
"Mom! What's going on?!" Henry Swan asked completely not ok with what was going on.
"X-Men Multiverse!" The youngest Henry said as he looked down at his older self.
Henry Swan looked up at two younger looking versions of himself and his jaw dropped. Even with seeing the multiples of his own mother...seeing himself...that made him pull back and look at everyone.
"Henry..." Bounty Hunter Swan said slowly when Henry Swan looked back up at the younger versions of himself.
"Wait...multiverse...like...how many so far?!" Henry Swan asked suddenly incredibly intrigued and less scared then he had been a second ago.
"This is three!" the older of the younger Henry's responded with a huge smile on his face.
Bounty Hunter Swan looked up again and couldn't help but smile at the young versions of her son.
"What the hell is he doing here?" James asked as soon as he saw Captain Hook at the door standing there as if he had a right to be there.
"HELLO! What the hell do you mean my son is LOCKED UP!" Sarah again screamed not being able to stand knowing that any version of her son was being held as a hostage.
"Right...um...be right back!" Midwife Zelena said causing Bounty Hunter Swan to look up shocked.
"That's the wicked witch!"
"NO! That is your aunt who you will address as AUNT Zelena! And I swear to all that is holy is that man gets anywhere near Sarah I'll turn him into a clown fish! David! Regina's sleeping with Little Snow tonight. Apparently something scared her at the hospital and she's clinging to her and Regina's refusing to move." Zelena said and with a glare at Captain Hook vanished in a cloud of green smoke.
Prince David let out a huge sigh and looked over at his brother James. "Make sure everyone gets a place to rest. I'll head over to the hospital and make sure whatever scared the girl...it doesn't come back. James...be careful."
James nodded and Prince David turned and left the apartment with a last glance at his wife.
James then looked over at David, Mr. Charming and then Mr. Nolan. "Anywhere you know that we can put the family up for at least tonight? Now with even more people..."
Mr. Nolan felt a shock go through his system at hearing the name James, realizing that the man talking to him...was his brother.
"Um...I...ah...sure...sure we can..."
"Good. Because with the way big sis is acting were in for one nasty night." James said and sat down in the rocking chair where Sarah glared at him.
"What?!" James asked.
"Did you have to grab me so hard?!" Sarah asked frustrated as the seconds ticked by and she still didn't know where her boy was from this dimension.
"I seem to recall a beam coming down on my head in a barn when someone thought it was a good idea to stop the mice from eating her horses food!" James said as he just dead face looked at his niece.
Sarah wanted to laugh as she remembered that day. "Even?"
"Even." James said and then leaned back and settled himself in the chair.
"Um...what are you doing?" Mr. Nolan asked when without missing a beat James responded.
"Getting my beauty sleep. I can't stay this sexy without 8 hours of sleep."
The scoffing laugh that came from the very distinctive voice of his own mother forced him to open his eyes and give a glare.
"Narcissus himself had less confidence than my boy James." Queen Cora said with one raised brow at her son.
James slowly smiled and gave a little wink to Sarah.
"That's why the ladies love me! I got a lot of...confidence!"
Sarah couldn't have stopped herself from laughing if she had tried, but quickly shared a look at her sister who immediately blushed at the inside joke.
"I hate you both." Snow said and rolling her eyes was about to move when Mrs. Charming moved swiftly and placed Baby Snow into her arms.
"Could you...um...take the baby to Regina. I think I need to stay here and...talk with the others." Mrs. Charming quickly looked down and over to indicate that Sarah's shirt had not been lowered enough to one side and if Snow moved...it would be seen.
Snow just nodded and quickly hoisted up the baby version of herself for the first time. "It really is strange."
"Talk about Narcissus..." James began which made Sarah slap him in the back of the head quickly.
"Ow..."
"Even?"
"Even."
"God help us all. They act alike." Ms. Mills said as she had marveled at finally seeing her daughter and instantly recognizing who she looked like...but was shocked how much she acted like James.
"Well he did help raise me...along with...just about everyone else." Sarah said with a little side nod.
"I'm just gonna...sit down for a minute." Bounty Hunter Swan said as she finally was letting the situation settle in.
"She's taking it better than we did." Emma said to Ms. Swan who nodded her head.
Bounty Hunter Swan just furrowed her brow as she looked up at the balcony and continued her way to sit at the table.
"So...we're like...a big family!" Henry Swan said with a huge smile on his face which was shared among all three Henry's.
"Henry...we're a huge family!" James said with a wicked grin which caused Queen Cora to smack him on the back of the head.
"Owww!"
All the Henry's finally understood the reference and snickered.
"You're a horrible influence." David said shaking his head.
"Let's not talk about whoring in front of the kids..." James began when the Regina's all groaned an 'ewww' and all three moved to smack him making him throw up his hands with a 'hey! MOM!'
"You brought it on yourself!" Queen Cora said and moved to sit at the island near Mr. Nolan.
Mr. Nolan stared at Queen Cora and inspected her features and couldn't for the life of him think of anything to say to whom apparently was his mother.
Well...except one thing.
"Who's Richard?"
