Story Start!

Magic.

Naruto generally hated magic, because of how unnatural it was and how chaotic it made his life. He used it, but that wasn't to say he approved of it in general. He knew of many species who vastly abused magic to make the lives of others a living hell.

His elite team.

"So... this is the result of all of the funding I provided you... does it work?" Naruto asked as he looked at a machine sword. The sword had an exhaust port going along the edge of the blade for some reason, and the sword itself didn't look very sharp. You were more likely to bruise somebody if you hit them with it than if you were to cut them. It also had a cable that ran towards a container of some kind.

Naruto pressed a button on the side of the handle.

A light purple energy that was not magic came out of the exhaust ports on the sword, covering the machine blade with the energy.

"This is the Anti-Magic Muramasa Type.S."

"Oh?" Naruto was interested when he heard one of his top scientists speak of the name of the sword, it was an impressive name to be sure. He wanted to know how it worked and if it would work, because all of the funding just going to a single sword was not something he would call impressive. "... and all of this just for a sword?"

"No sure, we also the Type.B, the Type.K, the Type.G, and the Type.L for different purposes. We have a prototype for the Anti-Magic Defense Armor.A."

"How does it work?" Naruto asked as he held the blade up to his face, and he could feel almost no heat coming from the energy. It was strange how the sword didn't feel dangerous at all to him, even though it was made for the purpose to defending humanity against supernatural species that existed in the world. Man vs Magic would almost always end with magic winning, and he hated that with a passion.

10% of ALL profits for his companies went to this little side project, because the weapons had to be made in a way that they couldn't be easily used against humans. He couldn't JUST make weapons after all, so they needed to serve a purpose that didn't break the law. As it stood, that was a high bar for his scientists to jump so as not to break the law. The weapons had to be incapable of being used to murder humans easily, thus to not be qualified as weapon research under the law.

"Well, magic is supernatural, but magic molecules bond together in order to form magic attacks and the bodies of the supernatural. It's way when you purify them they scatter into magic particals. Well, this energy is an extremely low heat plasma capable of disrupting the bonds that hold magic together."

"Ah..."

The scientist took the sword and he turned it off, before he unconnected the container with the energy supply. He reconnected it and turned the sword back on, before he touched the sword to his own skin. He hit himself hard with the sword several times, and didn't even damage his skin. Naruto looked at that with an impressed look.

Naruto summoned a fireball, blue in color.

"This is Foxfire... cut it, show me."

The scientist swung the sword and cut the fireball in half, but it didn't just cut the fireball, it dispelled it. The magic holding the fire together completely evaporated as the magical particulars became unable to bond to each other. All of the heat from the fire was gone, everything that had showed the fireball ever existed in the first place was gone.

Naruto laughed.

"It works! Well, that makes funding this little project much more worth it, to think that 2 years weren't wasted! Hahaha!" Naruto laughed as he saw magic rendered completely useless before the sword the scientist was using. He laughed even harder when he thought of just how they could be used to make humanity even safer from the mystic forces. "... and their bodies... the supernatural have magically enhanced bodies... explain how it works then." Naruto stated, he wanted more uninformation.

2 years.

This side project had been going on since he was 15 years old and wanted to rule Japan, he wanted to rule over Japan without ever having to worry about youkai stopping him. His goal ended up changing in the end, but now he wanted to make sure that youkai could never take over the world using their magical powers.

The scientist pointed to a giant door.

With a press of a button the door opened up, and revealed a medium sized dragon. The dragon roared at them the second it saw the two of them. It was chained up by golden chains that came out of floating portals. Naruto gave it an interested, and the scientist took off his labcoat. He showed himself to be wearing armor underneath the uniform.

"This is the Anti-Magic Defense Armor.A, and it allows me to safely approach the dragon. I just turn the armor on-" He pressed a button on the armor, and it began to glow. The armor radiated the same field that the sword radiated. "-and for 20 minutes magical attacks can not harm me." The scientist approached the chained dragon.

It breathed fire on him, but the second the fire touched his body the entire fire breath dispelled. He got even closer to the dragon, and with the sword, he took a swipe at it's leg.

*BOOM*

The dragon roared in pain when the sword cut through it's leg like butter, and the magical energy inside of it's leg exploded outward, before dispelling itself. Naruto frowned when he saw that, and he waved his hands.

The golden chain's snapped the dragon's neck.

"That is... a very painful looking attack."

"Supernatural species have magic fused to their bodies, it makes up their cells. A hit from these weapons cuts through those magic bonds. While these weapons can't really hurt humans, it's immensely deadly to species who have bodies comprised of magical particals... and due to it dispersing magic, the injured part of the body explodes. Regeneration becomes impossible." The scientist spoke as he cut the dead dragon's head off.

The entire dragon just, popped as it's corpse was dispersed into magical particals, unable to maintain it's form anymore.

"For fatal hits, it completely destroys the body, for non-fatal hits only the part of the body injured explodes. In combat, the sword has enough energy to last for 15 minutes of nonstop combat before needing to be reloaded." The scientist explained as he turned the sword off. Naruto hummed in thought as he looked at the sword handle and the non-lethal blade.

He was impressed.

"Every employee, I want ALL of my employees to have their own preferred weapon and armor set. I'll speak to Iruka and tell him to get the paperwork for your promotion started, you'll be getting a large pay raise for this work you've done. Continue your hard work, and-"

"Sir, thank you... but you have over four hundred thousand employees across the globe now, producing this many..."

"You'll see that it gets done. Making humanity safe from the supernatural is worth the cost, the entire cost of production will be on my shoulders. Spare no expense, and get the best researchers under my employ to help you." Naruto turned around and started to walk away.

He didn't care how expensive it was.

He had more than enough money to fund this ten times over and still have more money to spare, it was why he never stopped expanding his company across the world. It was why he kept buying up smaller companies and making them more successful, so that he could raise an endless supply of funds to further and further make the supernatural go into darkness.

His normal life.

He could never have a truly normal life as long as the supernatural world could pose a threat to humanity, he wanted to make sure that the supernatural knew good and well what would happen to them the second they tried to do anything to humanity. He would continue to grow his company using his clairvoyance, he would get the best employees the world could offer for this purpose. He would collect any person with value to his company, any person that he could ensure loyalty from. To make the nation and the world a better place for people.

"Yessir!"

"Oh... and make sure when you mass produce them, you modify them so they cause less suffering for the supernatural monsters they kill." Naruto stated as he looked back.

"Sir?"

"We're not monsters, we're making these weapons to defend ourselves from monsters. I want them to experience as little suffering as possible before they die... because a quick, painless death will make sure that those who see it aren't enraged... nobody wants to see their friends suffer and die... our enemies have friends... we will defend ourselves from them, but lets not give them a reason to attack us even more." Naruto had no desire to start a cycle of hatred between him and the supernatural. He wanted to make sure they never messed with humanity again, but he had no desire to push them to extinction or start a war against them.

They could exist as long as they didn't try to destroy humans, he wanted them to know how strong humanity could be. He wanted peace, and the best way to achieve that peace was with such overwhelming strength.

"So, do you want me to stop researching the Anti-Magic Muramasa Type.N?"

"The Type N?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow.

"A nuclear-level warhead that destroys all supernatural creatures within a city-wide range, leaving humans and non-magical structures unharmed... well... it does have a 2 block damage radius for everything... but everything within a city range OUTSIDE of that 2 block radius that isn't supernatural would be unharmed."

Naruto thought about it for a moment.

In case youkai ever decided to attack in mass and start a war, it would certainly be a useful tool in order to force them to back down. It would discourage them from future attacks as well if they believed that they had weapons capable of wiping all of them out in a city. Naruto thought about it more and more.

"... We can't get away with making those, so stop production. The fact they are capable of causing human death would still classify them as a weapon. We're not going to break the law, we're doing this legally." Naruto waved his hand, ending production of such a thing. As much as he would enjoy having such a weapon, it was too unreliable and far too dangerous. It's very existence could cause him a lot of problems in the future.

The fact that it broke the law to make it for starters.

Naruto's phone went off.

Where are you?

"Sir?"

At work, I'll be there in about 30 or 40 minutes. I'm about finished.

He smiled when he sent them text, and he laughed when he got a frown emoji back as a response, before a thumbs up emoji moments later.

One day he would success.

He would make sure that humanity would never have to fear what goes bump in the dark ever again.

Regardless of his goals though, he had a date to get ready for.
