"This really isn't fun, this is the 15th store we've been to today alone... what even IS Namikaze Industries?" Rias Gremory asked in annoyance as she looked at yet another shop she liked to visit that was closed down.

Over 30 shops in Kuoh had been bought by Namikaze Industries, and she was seeing Namikaze Industries employees wearing some strange uniforms going into the stores and beginning renovations on every store with amazing speed and skill. Not a single worker that she was viewing seemed anything less than an expert in their fields, working together in amazing unison.

"I don't know, but this is getting annoying." Akeno really wanted to try out this cafe, but that wasn't an option anymore.

-With Naruto-

"Over 67% of the shopping locations and buildings in Kuoh have now been bought by Namikaze Industries, and the number is growing... what is your goal?" Iruka asked Naruto as he looked at his tablet and watched the numbers go up higher and higher. Naruto no longer had the goal to take over Japan, but he was spreading his influence even further and further.

Naruto just smiled.

He had a plan.

"It's simple, I'm going to spread success is all. I've turned my father's company from the small developer company it was, into the monster giant it is. I'm going to spread that success further and further. Once all of the businesses in Kuoh are under my name, this city will be a test drive for my monopoly... it is convenient to do this in a city I'm living in right now." Naruto had no real reason to start other than convenience. "Not to mention the longer I stay, the more I'm noticing... some strange scent in the air... not a youkai though." Naruto frowned.

Was there something out there besides sacred gear users and youkai, obviously there were dragons, but dragons were a different story. He knew of the gods in Japan, but he had never payed much attention to the other religions of the world. He didn't even pay much attention to the gods of his nation, to him they were just useless. They didn't do anything for him, so he cut them out of his life.

"Not a youkai?"

"Not youkai at all, but these scents are close enough to human scents that... whatever supernatural is in this city can escape my nose... so I'll just extend my ability to see all over the city." Naruto smiled. He wanted to know what the hell he was ignorant of that lived in this city, and to do that he needed to be able to see anywhere in the city at any given time.

"70%"

"Good, send more representatives out, and make sure that the lawyers are with them. I don't want them to violate even a single law that could slow my progress. We do this by the book." Naruto wanted to make sure that he followed every law for that very reason. Every person in big business knew that violating laws could ruin everything, it was one thing to find a loophole, but it was a fools decision to go against the law completely. "Ah... Koneko!" Naruto noticed that Koneko was patiently waiting for him outside of her apartment.

She smiled and nodded towards him, and she looked at Iruka with a raised eyebrow. She saw this man with Naruto a few times, but she never really asked too many questions about who he was.

"I'll leave you kids alone, and Naruto... I'll make sure you have nothing to worry about." Iruka sent Naruto a thumbs up.

Naruto sent it right back.

He didn't want to have to split his attention between Koneko and Namikaze Industries, which was why he trusted Iruka to run the company well while he was away. If there was any man alive he trusted, it was Iruka, the man who had been his legal guardian and most loyal employee since he was young. The man knew just the choices to make, and he only got him involved when it was absolutely needed.

"So, where are we going?" Koneko asked with a smile.

Naruto grinned.

"Back to my apartment, I've got some great tea waiting for us, and the cake I had as a snack is in the fridge, wrapped up and saved just for us. Got your homework?" Naruto asked her, and she nodded and pat her school bag. She wasn't in her school uniform, casual clothes, but she still had her school stuff. She knew the purpose of this was to help her study, but she was sure that they would go somewhere else before they went to his place. "Good... I've just got one quick errand to run on the way there... and that errand... is lunch, I'm starving." Naruto laughed as his stomach growled.

He had only eaten a somewhat large breakfast this morning, so his stomach was already asking him to feed it again.

"Uzumaki-kun!"

'A youkai?' Koneko thought with a raised eyebrow when she smelled a kitsune approach them, a girl that seemed college age. She was running to catch up with them, even though they just started to walk. She looked towards Naruto to see his reaction, the girl was a bombshell beauty, and she sighed in relief when he had no reaction to her body at all. '... guess kitsune are known for being skanks, and he is handsome... no surprise she's interested.' Koneko rationalized the kitsune approaching them.

Just a thirsty fox wanting to get herself some dick.

"Great, hey Uzumaki-kun, want to get-"

"No, I'm with her, and we're about to get lunch, so leave." Naruto said in a harsher tone. Koneko raised her eyebrow at the harshness, but it got the point across. The girl seemed to instantly get saddened, but nodded her head and turned to walk away.

She nudged him.

"Kind of harsh."

"She's been trying to ask me out for weeks, and I've made sure she knows I'm not interested. The fact she tried to ask me while we're holding hands is extremely rude to you, and I wasn't going to stand for it." Naruto didn't want to date a youkai, and he for sure wasn't going to date any girl so rude as it try and steal him away from his date. The fact she had the gal to try and ask him out right in front of Koneko pissed him off.

-With Rias and Akeno-

"What the hell... this is... even the MALL is shut down... and would you look at that, Namikaze Industries... who the hell even are these people?" Rias asked as she slammed her foot on the ground several times in anger. She just wanted to spend the afternoon with Akeno, having a little fun, and everywhere she went she was turned away because they were closed. It was a rare day that Akeno had no requests to take care of after school to prepare for, and she had nothing to worry about other than her studies.

Now though, every place she liked was getting closed down.

She walked over to the Namikaze Industries worker and tapped his shoulder lightly, getting his attention.

"Yes little lady?"

"Yes, can you explain why Namikaze Industries is buying all of these stores... do you have a manager I can talk with?" Rias asked politely, using slight hypnosis to make the man agree with her, manipulate his memories slightly.

A bracelet the man was wearing started to flash red the second his eyes glazed over, and shocked him quick enough to negate her magic. He blinked in confusion and looked at her with a raised eyebrow, while Rias raised her eyebrow as well. She noticed that all of the other employees had stopped what they were doing and looked at her strangely.

'That's odd... he wasn't effected by her magic... he must have a high resistance.' Akeno didn't see exactly what happened, and neither did Rias, but she knew that Rias had used magic to try and get answers. Only to not get them in the end, which showed either the man was supernatural like them, or that he had an extremely high resistance.

Another employee walked forward and pulled a strange phone out, a phone that didn't look like anything on the market.

He just took her picture.

"Ah... I'm sorry little lady, but we have to get back to work. Our manager wants these stores finished by the end of the week, so we don't have a lot of time to spare." He spoke strictly with her when the other employee showed him the picture that was taken on his phone.

"Strange." Rias responded under her breath.

Akeno was looking it up on her phone already.

"Seems Namikaze Industries used to be a small company 10 years ago, but started to grow, and in the last 2 years has become massive. They don't have any one thing they specialize in, and 99% of the stocks for the company are owned by 1 man, unnamed, and 1% of the stocks are owned by somebody else... strange... nothing else." Akeno did a quick search on her phone and came up with almost nothing.

-With Naruto-

Naruto's phone went off.

He opened it up and saw a picture of magical readings, these magical readings not belonging to any type of youkai he had ever encountered or read about. The picture of the girl was vague, but there was another girl with even stranger readings behind her. The phones most of his workers were equipped with took pictures of people in a light that allowed them to scan the magic of a person's body and read their true form by looking at this magical readings.

His employees were instructed to take a picture of somebody whenever the bracelets they wore went off, alerting them to somebody trying to manipulate their minds.

He hummed in thought.

The readings of the girl in front were dark, evil in nature, and were very destrutive. They were pure in what they were, but the true form given to her energy readings was unusual. It had no tail like many youkai, but it did have bat-like wings stretching back behind her. Her energy body was red in color.

The girl behind her had both bat-like and bird-like wings behind her, and her energy was both evil and demented, but also tainted and light, the energies mixing together inside of her body to make the true form readings hard to make out.

'These... are not youkai?' Naruto mentally questioned with a raised eyebrow. He looked at Koneko holding onto his arm as they walked, and he looked back at his phone. If Iruka sent these readings to him, then that meant that there was nothing like these in the database of youkai and their various readings.

"That is a funny picture, looks like an art project... winged women made of energy?" Koneko had peeked at his phone.

Naruto nodded his head and turned off the phone before Koneko could really look at the photos sent to him. He was on a date with her, whatever these strange creatures were could wait until after his date was done. If they were a threat or not was a non-issue, since all of the employees in the city were equipped with Anti-Magic Armor to be worn under their uniforms, and they each had an AMM Type.G (Gun) hidden on their bodies so that they could shoot any supernaturals that attacked them.

This was not a threat he needed to be worried about right now, not when Iruka had yet to sent him a message saying anyone was attacked.

-With Iruka-

"Okay men, do a scan of every person in the city. Do not interfere with his study date at all though, so all Namikaze Industries employees are to remain far away from him. I want a full scan of every single person in Kuoh city sent to the research team in the next 5 hours." Iruka spoke to his phone as he drove, and his phone heard his words and sent that very message to every employee in the city.

He was sure that Naruto was not worried about this, and would not be worried right now while on a date. So he would make sure that Naruto could enjoy his youth to the best of his ability.

Naruto had given him 1% of the companies shares.

Naruto had been the 100% share holder for the company, the one and only owner, but the fact he was willing to give even 1% of his company over to him was a mark of the trust he had earned from the boy. Namikaze Industries did not allow people to buy shares of the company, because Naruto refused to sell any part of his shares to anyone else that might pervert the future he wanted for his legacy. 1% might not seem like a big deal, but if anything happened to Naruto and he had no children, then the entire company would transfer the rest of those shares to him. Naruto had made sure of that.

Basically, that 1% of the shares was Naruto saying he had absolute trust in him.

He would not let the boy down.

Koneko can't smell Naruto's youkai blood because of the fact he has a charm on him to seal his scent, and he is mostly human, so his human blood overpowers the smell of the seal. She is also ignorant of what happens in the youkai world, since she ignores that part of her heritage.

Naruto can't smell Koneko's youkai blood because she is a devil, and while he IS aware of the supernatural and youkai, he is not all knowing. He has never encountered a devil before Koneko, and her devil blood hides her youkai heritage.
