AN: nfksndjd lmao, ao3 really slammed them comments afffff so here I am with pt 2. I'm a sucker for that love and support after all...

But :P on a side note, pop quiz: If Korra is afraid of hunters and Asami is the opposite then she…?

Korra swallowed hard as she fiddled with her fingers behind her back. Being called into her boss' office was something she did not appreciate. It had to be more nerve wracking than fighting a hunter. No. Wait.

More like she was a hunter.

Okay. Was it okay for her to accidentally pee herself? Probably not but that's what Korra felt like doing. Her eyebrow twitches when Asami leans back in her chair while twirling a pen in her hand. She smiles softly before greeting.

"Good morning Korra, how are you?"

Her lips parted slightly as a million thoughts ran through her head, not knowing how to react. Fortunately, she manages to fumble out a response. "U-Uh… g-good thanks."

Asami had this smile on her face that made the young werewolf uneasy.

Only after a second did Korra feel like she was missing something so she quickly cleared her throat before asking back. "H-How about you b-boss— I mean— Asa— Miss Asami… ma'am." Does she know? Or is she testing me? She totally knows doesn't she!

"Hmm… well actually…" Asami sets down her pen before crossing her hands together. "If I may be honest, I had quite an… interesting time last night."

She tended up at that. "I-I see… t-that must've been… though." She tops it off with her stupid grin for some reason.

Her boss smiles before continuing her story. "You see… I woke up from a rough night and my side was killing me…" she glances down at her gunshot wound before adding, "However the most interesting part though was that a stranger helped me out. I don't remember much to be honest but I do remember that I just blacked out. And, for some reason by the time I woke up, I was in my home. I don't remember telling anyone my address so it's quite interesting don't you think?"

Korra swallows hard before looking off to the side. "Y-Yeah… it does seem peculiar. Maybe you should change your lock or something… seems dangerous." Why'd I say that? That was dumb but what the heck am I supposed to say!?

Asami hadn't broken eye contact since the beginning. "Yeah. Maybe I should."

Silence falls between them and Korra was subtle shaking. If her tails and ears had been out, without a doubt, her tail would be tucked between her legs and her ears folded down, shaking out of fear. And, the more Korra forced herself to keep a poker face, the more she was panicking on the inside.

Oh no no no. Fuckkkkk… hunters are so scary… mommy!

"Anyways…" Asami narrows her eyes at Korra, "I just wanted to catch up with you since you looked a bit under the weather today. Don't force yourself, okay? Let me know if you need anything and you're free to go whenever alright, just take it easy."

Korra didn't need to be told twice. "T-Thanks boss— I mean ma'am! I-I'll take my leave then!" At that she storms out of her office as calmly as possible, missing her boss' soft chuckle and whisper.

"How cute."

In record speed, Korra makes it to the bathroom and slams the stall shut before panting for air. She had a hard time breathing and she was hyperventilating. After a long moment, she sat out her dizziness and swallowed back some bile before cupping her face. She groans into her palms before dragging her fingers down her face.

"Urghhhhhh…"

She sat in silence for a tense moment.

"Dammit…"

She began shaking her leg again.

"Hunters are so scary…"

She whimpers before smacking her cheeks.

"Maybe I should quit…"

After a second, she vigorously shakes her head.

"But the pay and food are good…"

On cue, her stomach growls.

"Ughhhh, I should've eaten breakfast…"

The bathroom door finally clicks open and Korra shoots up like a flag.

"Hahah, you're telling me, last night's episode was amazing! I can't believe they did that!"

"I know! Cabbages will always be a classic…"

Korra rubs her face again before taking one last deep breath. She shakes off her jitteriness before whispering some self encouragement. "Okay… you got this Kor."

xXx

"Alright, while we may have accepted this proposal please be advised that changes might occur along the line." Asami leads before pointing at the white board. "Don't be afraid to throw out some ideas if you think it will help with the task at hand."

"Yes ma'am." Most of the teammates respond in similar affirmations.

Asami nods with a smile. "Very good. Now then, let's hurry up and get cleaned up. You're all dismissed." She turns and walks to the door before pausing, "Ah I almost forgot. You all did an amazing job with last month's quota so dinner's on me tonight, anywhere you'd like of course."

The team members immediately all had a bright smile on their faces. "Yes!"

"Woohoo!"

All except for one person of course, Korra.

Korra used to and would've been happy but not after learning that Asami was a hunter! Even if she seemed just and sensible, that didn't change the fact that she is one! She twitches in place before minding her own business and trying to escape as quietly as possible. She was so close to the door when one of her coworkers called out to her.

"Korra, aren't you coming to dinner? We're going to have a Korean BBQ! A new place opened up downtown and since Asami said anywhere was fine so we're going with that!"

She swallows a little. That does sound good… she quickly shakes her head though before nervously laughing, "No it's okay. I'm good, I've actually been on a diet and all…" definitely not but there is no way and hell I want to spend extra time with Asami! If she's paying, she is so gonna be there!

"Aww what a shame."

"That makes sense though, she hasn't been eating as much as she usually does." Another one of her employees interrupts.

"Whatttt, but you can't not go Korra! It's a team dinner party! It's rare we get to have one of these and it's at a Korean BBQ for spirit's sake! I heard that place was a little pricey but bomb as fuck!"

"I… I don't know guys… I just kinda want to go home…" states weakly with low moral.

"Aww booo, you're such a party pooper!"

"Hey hey, come on, don't force her. Korra you don't have to go if you don't want to."

Korra's face lights up at her one and only ally. "Cain… you, you're such a good guy!" She sniffles dramatically with her puppy dog eyes, which are super effective if the opportunity arises.

Cain blushes before rubbing his cheek. "Still… it would be nice if you came…"

"Oh! I heard that place was an all you could drink too! If all you can eat meat doesn't sell it, then how about the booze!"

Korra scrunches her nose at that. "That's…"

"Then how about desserts! I heard they have bomb ass ice cream!"

"Oh oh! I know what you're talking about, the mochi ice cream right!"

"Yeah yeah! You know it too!"

"Hell yeah I do! It's homemade apparently and my friend says it tasted bombbbbb!"

"Yooo…"

The more excited Korra's coworkers got, the more guilty she felt about not going. She would love to go and she normally did but this time was just… she sighs before creasing her eyebrows. The excitement in their eyes was something she had a hard time ignoring. Social pressure was something she just couldn't handle if pushed too far and this was doing it. So, that's why with reluctance she rubs that back of her hand before softly saying:

"Okay okay… fine… I'll go…"

Her coworkers didn't miss a heartbeat.

"Yes! Alright!"

"Woohoo Korra's going too!"

"Team dinner party for the win!"

"Woohoo!"

She sighs once again before looking off to the side. "Let's just sit as far as possible away from Asami…" At least… that was her last thought.

xXx

Korra's leg was shaking up and down as she nervously sipped on her beer. She drowned out the background noise of her cheering and rowdy coworkers as they occupied most of the tables. Cheers after cheers, everyone laughed and shouted under the influence while Korra was too busy trying not to puke and faint. After all, she was sitting next to the one person she was trying to separate herself with, her boss.

Asami Sato: CEO and werewolf hunter.

Speaking of her boss, she laughs happily at one of their coworkers stupid jokes before accepting a drink after denying it for so long. Her eyes narrow down at the rim on the glass before she downs it in one shot. Her coworkers cheer at the gesture before calling over more food and booze.

Meanwhile, Korra just finished her fifth glass of beer before scarfing down a big bite of beef. She chews with a pout before a tap on her shoulder makes her jump out of her skin. Of course, that tap came from the direction Asami was seated at. She makes eye contact with those vibrant eyes before she squeaks out:

"Y-Yesh?!"

Asami blinks at that slur. She chuckles softly with a tilt of her head. "You okay Korra?"

Korra couldn't believe her situation. She regretted everything. "Y-Yeah of course!" She laughs awkwardly with a forced grin. "Totally. Totally chipper!" What the fuck are you even saying? With a grunt, she faces forward before downing another glass of beer. With this already death-like and horrible situation of hers, how worse can it get?

She stands corrected.

One moment, she was downing a glass of beer, the next a pitcher. With the cheers of her coworkers on her side, she survived off that high before remembering nothing. Nothing whatsoever meaning… she had blacked out. With a skull splitting headache, she lets out a hoarse groan before trying to feel her body. She mindlessly pats herself down before somehow successfully finding her face.

"Urgh… I'm… alive…?"

She groans again before sinking back into bed. Feeling like shit was an understatement and she felt so nauseous beyond the point of functionality. Curling up into a ball, she breathed in the fresh scent of these covers, basking in that nice floral scent. She lets out some sound and content breaths as she falls into a deep slumber.

"Smells… nice…"

The second time she woke up, she vaguely had a sense of realization and recollection. She had gone out drinking with her coworkers. She had apparently survived an encounter with Asami. She also ate some bomb ass food despite the situation and lack of appetite so all in all, it wasn't too bad. Bonus was that her bed felt unbelievably comfy for some reason.

She ends up basking in the toastiness and the fluffy cushions as she fights back the urge of falling back asleep. Her body twitches and she lets out some soft breaths, not wanting to move an inch. Maybe sleeping wasn't so bad? She didn't work today so she could sleep in all she wanted. Yes. Yes that was a good plan so she took another nap.

The third time she wakes up, she registers some faint noises. She wasn't entirely sure what it was but it sounded like pages being turned in a book. A book? The ones she owned were buried in a pile of dust so who in the world would read it? Unless her friendly neighborhood ghost friend, Casper, was bored enough to be interested in a boring history book about the history of food, no one would read that.

Wait.

She lived alone though?

That gets her to stir in bed more. She scrunched her eyebrows as she began processing some information. Okay… I was out drinking. I don't remember much… but I'm still alive at home somehow… wait? Home? Who brought me home? Her mouth parts slightly at the realization. No… it can't be…

Peeling an eye open, she squints at the world. What she saw was white covers. She didn't have white covers. The last time she checked and did her laundry, it should've been a baby blue. Speaking of which, the springiness and hardness from her mattress was entirely different from this soft and bouncy material. It screamed a luxury brand mattress which she was a little too broke to afford.

Oh fuck…

Panic started to set in all over again and she shifted in place to turn around. With her eyes burning, she takes in the room and furniture. Hues of red and black and the spacious arrangement that reminded her of a certain person's room. A room she had broken into the other night. Korra felt like her soul was seeping from her body.

Tell me this is a dream…

She whimpers slightly before rolling over. "Hah…" Letting out a single quiet and dry laugh, she couldn't believe her eyes. It was indeed that living space she saw the other night. She wouldn't forget this room even if someone paid her to. It was Asami fucking Sato's condo. Okay. But before she dies let's try to make sense of the situation so she knows at least how she dies.

If she had blacked out drunk, her coworkers probably tried to get her back home. But, since she was sitting next to her damned hunter of a boss, Asami probably offered to take her back home. In other words… she had been played and kidnapped by her. Well… maybe not outright kidnapped but still, it was the same shit to her.

Here she was, a werewolf in a hunter's home so what else did that entail but torture or death?

She sighs in disbelief. Here she was, living the dream in Republic City with a normal and relatively successful life. Spirits forbid how her parents will react after all the warnings she gave her. She really fucked up this time and she was gonna pay the price. What should she do?

Try to fight for her life despite being hung over as fuck? Nah…

She'd rather accept her fate and die then put up a pointless struggle. Besides… before finding out Asami was a hunter, she actually quite liked her boss. She admired her before being such a proud and successful business woman. Those were rare with this world's current affairs so of course she respected her.

Another page flipped.

That confirmed Korra's suspicions of where she was seated. She had a guess that she was seated at the small coffee table that was close to the window, a bit far but close to the bed. Meaning… she was about a twenty feet walk from her.

Fuckkkk… she's close.

Korra groaned before shifting again and for some reason, she had a feeling that Asami was looking her way. She freezes and waits a few quiet seconds to feel any movement. She didn't. So… without further ado, she slowly rolls around to look at her killer and to her surprise, Asami is looking right at her as she sips some sort of sparkling drink but, of all the things Korra could say, she said this:

"Thought you didn't drink wine."

Asami seemed surprised by that comment because of all the things Korra could say, she says that? She laughed out loud before recrossing her legs and raising the glass.

"It's flavored sparkling water."

Korra scrunches her face in judgement. "In a wine glass?"

Her boss simply shrugged her shoulders. "I like being fancy." She finally sets the glass down before standing up. She walks over to her side before taking a seat on the edge of her bed, creating a divot on the mattress. "Are you feeling better now?"

Oh how much Korra just wanted to die right now instead of enduring this awkwardness. "B-Been better…" She nervously pulls the blanket up to her chin. "If you're gonna kill me then hurry up and do it! I don't like the suspense."

That made her make a weird face. "Kill you? And why would I do that?"

Guess it was just better to rip off the bandage in one go. "Cause I'm a werewolf and you're a hunter obviously! I ain't playin games woman, if you're gonna kill time then just do it!"

"Pfft—" Asami covers her mouth before standing up. "Okay… in that case." She turns and grabs a freaking gun from her side drawer before pointing it at Korra. She makes this devilish (and sexy) smirk before reading her trigger finger.

Seeing that happen, Korra let out the most pitiful whimper as she snapped her eyes shut and turned away. She hears a subtle click before nothing. A few moments of silence pass before she hears Asami chuckle in amusement.

"Cute."

"W-What?" Korra peels one eye open before looking at her boss.

Asami lets go of her hold on the gun, making it tilt back from the weight on her finger, before pointing at the safety lock. She then sets it back where she grabbed it before speaking. "Sorry. You looked so serious so I couldn't help myself."

If Korra was a child, she would've most definitely peed herself if she hadn't already. She lets out a dry laugh as she shaked in bed. "I uh… wha?"

This time, the hunter spares her a smile. "If you're this cute in your human form, I wonder what you'd look like as a wolf?" She asks as if it was the most natural thing out there. "Ah, I should probably explain myself though since you seem so… scared."

Asami then walks over to her coffee table and pulls a chair closer before taking a seat in front of her. She crosses her legs before starting. "You see…"

Korra gulped.

"I don't believe in killing the harmless so, no, I'm not going to hurt let alone kill you Korra. Please be at ease. Besides… I love dogs more than anything and wolves are just a bigger and fluffier version of them."

Her jaw dropped. She felt like a broken record and the only word she could muster out was another, "What."

Asami blinks before laughing again. "Is that all you can say? I didn't know one of my most prized workers was a broken record." She jokes before readjusting her legs.

Korra happens to watch that movement occur more closely than she'd like thanks to her sideways vision from lying down on her boss' bed. Her legs were more than just nicely toned.

How would they feel around her?

She opens her mouth to say something before losing her thoughts with that intoxicating smell. Maybe it was thanks to her hung over state that her senses were wack or maybe it was thanks to whatever expensive perfume Asami used, either way, it smelled amazing in her room.

"Mh… mmh…"

Moan-like hums were the only apparent noise coming from Korra's mouth. Asami raises a brow at that before standing up to get closer to her. She leans over the young werewolf before raising her hand to touch her forehead. That made Korra flinch. She whimpered slightly before Asami hums and started patting her head. Soon enough, she says something in a whisper as if she was truly apologetic.

"I'm sorry, I took my joke too far… I didn't mean to scare you this much." Her light green eyes showed sincerity before she walked over to the kitchen and grabbed a glass of water. When she comes back, she carefully helps Korra upright before bringing the glass to her lips. "Here, have some water."

"..."

Korra was feeling better by the second but the more she was, the more so wished Asami was just a plain cold blooded killer. Surviving was nice and all but living to tell the story was seriously embarrassing. She takes another sip of water before glancing at Asami's features. Her eyes were simply beautiful and her lips looked irresistible.

Since when was my boss this hot…

After she slowly finished the whole glass, Korra was met with Asami's worried eyes. The way her lips were puckered slightly and the way eyebrows were scrunched low made Korra want to touch her. Without knowing it, Korra reaches up to tuck a stray strand of hair out of Asami's face. Asami twitches at that before staring at Korra in shock. She ends up hovering there for a few seconds before her eyes snapped open when she realized what she was doing.

"Uh— I uh…" she grew more red by the second, unable to come up with an excuse. "S-Sorry!" Pushing Asami back, Korra bolted out of bed before sprinting towards the door, almost tripping along the way.

"What? K-Korra!"

Not even bothering to turn back around, Korra yanked that door open before running off and shouting. "I'm sorry!"

xXx

Korra was currently curled in a ball, sitting upright on a nursery bed. After fleeing Asami's house, she went straight to the secret infirmary that all werewolves went to when they were injured and or needed a place to be. Her friend, one of the guards, Kuvira, was giving her the judging look as she had her arms crossed and was tapping her index finger on her bicep.

"Care to repeat that again?"

Shaking slightly, Korra just rocked herself in place. "A-Asami… s-she um… took care of me after I blacked out drunk and uh… found out about me and uh… she like… smelled really, really good for some reason…"

Kuvira couldn't hear her ears. "She found out! I told you that saving that hunter was a mistake! What if she killed you then and there! We should've just left her—" her friend scolds before someone barges into the room.

"Korra! You're alive!" Kai shouts before running next to her side. "You didn't text me back man!"

Laughing drily, Korra turns to look at him like a inching ratchet. "H-Hey…! I uh… yeah. I'm alive."

Kai makes a confused face. "What's up with you?" He looks at Kuvira who looks pissed off from being cut off. "What's up with her?"

Kuvira sighs before rubbing her temple. "After she saved you, a hunter saved her but got hurt in the process. Korra helped her out and it turned out to be her boss, Asami, and they then had this company party where this little shit here blacked out from being drunk. All in all, Asami took her home and could've killed her but didn't and then Korra ran away in shock."

"Dude…" Kai looks back at Korra. "That's rough buddy."

Korra simply rocked in place like a broken record. "Ha… ha… ha…"

"Worst part is, I think this dumbass marked her."

"What?!" Kai snapped his eyes at Kuvira. "She did what!"

Korra was so stressed by her situation that she didn't even budge a muscle.

"Yeah. From what she's telling me, she probably marked Asami somehow without knowing it. You know, cause all of the sudden she's attracted to this woman. Scents are important to us after all." Kuvira casually throws out there like it's nothing.

Kai looks at Korra not knowing what to say before settling with this one phrase. "Well you're fucked."

Korra groans before falling over onto her side. "I know! You don't have to tell me twice! I can't believe I probably marked a hunterrrrrr… fuck my lifeeee…" she sniffles a bit. "Mom and dad are gonna be so mad."

Kuvira snorts at that statement. "At the fact you saved a hunter or the fact you marked one?"

She groans loudly again. "Both!"

Korra's phone starts ringing and they all turn to look at it. It stops after a few rings before a text message is received. Gritting her face, Korra reaches over and grabs it before looking at the text.

Asami Sato (16:32): Hey Korra, I hope you're doing well. I just wanted to make sure you were safe wherever you are. I know things turned out weird this morning but if you don't mind, can we meet up at a cafe or something to talk? It doesn't have to be something extensive of course but I do believe I still owe you for saving my life.

Hoping for a positive reply, Asami.

After Korra reads the message, she hands it off to her friends. "What should I do?"

Kuvira and Kai both read the message. Kai simply shrugged his shoulders. "Meet her of course."

Korra groans before looking at Kuvira. "What do you think Kuv?"

After a second of pondering, Kuvira snapped her fingers. "Say yes and then we ambush her and…" she drags her thumb across her own neck, signalling decapitation.

"What no!" Korra swipes back her phone. "We are not doing that! She's a good person!"

"Hmph, says the one that almost died!"

Korra growls at her softly. "And I'm telling you she wouldn't do that! She's not that type of person!"

"And how would you know that?"

"That's… I just know okay! Werewolf instincts."

Kuvira simply rolls her eyes. "Sure… just go ahead and enjoy your date then why don't you." At that statement, she turns before heading for the door.

"What— i-it's not a date!"

Kai covers his mouth before following behind her lead. Kuvira on the other hand swats her hand dismissively. "Sure."

"Kuvira!"

Groaning and sighing for the billionth time today, Korra flopped backwards onto her bed before staring at the ceiling.

"What am I gonna do…"

After pondering a hot moment, she decided to text her back.

Okay. Let's meet up. How about the Jasmine Dragon at around noon tomorrow?

It didn't take long for Asami to respond.

Asami Sato (16:43): Sounds perfect.

AN: Answer, Asami loves werewolves.
