Here is another chapter for you all (Draco's point of view). I hope you enjoy. Also I have added a poll to my profile about a new fanfiction that I have been thinking of writing.

Later,

Toshka

I was absolutely elated by Hermione's words.

"Thank you." I whispered to her snuggling her in my arms.

"Draco can I touch your wings?"

'If you want. Lucus won't mind.' Hermione reached out and stroked the feathers.

"There so soft." she marveled petting them. Lucus let out a contented purring sound.

"Are you purring?" Hermione asked me incredulously her eyebrows farrowed.

'Mmhm.' Lucus replied.

Hermione had stopped her stroking leading both of us to groan in disappointment. Suddenly there was a large crack sound in the middle of the kitchen. Starting Lucus grabbed Hermione tightly before picking her up running all the way up the stairs and into a small empty room.

'Mate is ok?'

"I am fine. What was that?"

'Loud noise. Must protect you. Someone is in the house. Could hurt you.'

She nodded before asking, "Can you put me down? I need to use the Loo."

'Don't take to long. We will wait outside door. Don't try to escape that could hurt you or someone else. We don't want that.'

"I understand." she replied walking over to the door and closed it behind her.

I waited patiently for her to emerge. After ten minutes Lucus had, had enough.

'Hermione? You alright?' he called out.

"One minute Lucus. I will be right out." she replied her voice rough as if she was choking on tears.

Hearing her Lucus opened the door closing his eyes tight.

"Lucus! Get out! Out!" she shrieked her voice hysterical and edged with embarrassment.

'Sorry. Sorry. Veela will leave. You worried us. Why you crying?'

"GET OUT LUCUS!" she screamed at me hurting my ears.

"We're out. We are out. Sorry Granger." I rambled closing the door.

"Lucus don't do that. You upset her. She yelled at us you idiot."

Hermione emerged from the loo looking absolutely furious.

"DRACO MALFOY! HOW DARE YOU ENTER THE LOO WHILE I WAS USING IT!"

'Lucus is sorry our Hermione. We wanted to make sure you was ok. You was crying.'

"I WAS NOT!"

'Don't lie to us. You were sad.'

"How do you know that?!"

"Your emotions betray you Granger. Lucus can feel them through you." I replied smirking at her distress.

"I should have thought of that. Today has just been kind of overwhelming for me that's all."

'We understand Hermione. It's been hard for Veela's Draco to.' Lucus reassured her placing a hand on her shoulder soothingly.

"How did you do that?" she inquired.

"Do what?"

"All of a sudden I feel happy again. Are you messing with my emotions?!"

'Maybe.'

She was about to replied when a loud band came from the doorway revealing my God-Father.

"God-Father? What are you doing here?" I demanded stunned.

"We are leaving Draco. Your parents want you home now." he said his eyes darting to Hermione and then back to me.

'Take Veela's Hermione with us?'

"No. She must stay here."

'You can't separate us. Hurt mate.' Lucus retorted pulling Hermione closer to us.

"Lucus. She needs to stay here. You can not take her with you." he growled clearly annoyed.

"God-Father why? We need her right now." I amended what my Veela had tried to explain.

"That is not an option Draco. We should go home. Your father is most displeased with you."

"Oh that. We really should go then and he won't like Hermione. Yes you are right." I rambled nervously.

"It's all right Draco. We will see each other again soon I am sure."

'No.' Lucus protested in my mind trying to take back control but failed in his indever as I had already walked over to Uncle Snape. Taking his hand we apperated back to my home.
