[Amphibia 13!- Season 1: Theme Song]

A bruised, bleeding, and defeated, Anne Boonchuy and Dereck Wyatt crouched down on the floor of the destroyed park as they panted heavily and glared up at the large robotic space alien-like drone looming over them as they looked down at their Omnitrixes and curses in unison as they realized that they were time out and unable to transform. Glancing over at the rest of their friends for support, Anne and Dereck were discouraged/dismayed to see an unconscious Sasha Waybright lying on the floor with pieces of brown rocks and fire littering around her as her mineral-armored cousin Johnathon Waybright was desperately trying to wake her up, but failed as a trembling and scared Marcy Wu laid on the floor while holding onto the Calamity Box in her arms as her older brother Asashi Wu tried to help her up to the floor so that they can run away with their friends, but Marcy refused to budge as she clutched onto the Musical Box tightly.

Turning back to the huge robot, Anne, Dereck, and the rest of the teens were horrified/shocked to see it lifting its giant hand to aim it towards them as it begins charging up to deliver a mega-sized laser blast that will fry the teens to dust. Sharing a quick look at each other, the teenage friends nodded to each other grimly as they accepted their imminent fates, and Anne grabbed onto Dereck's hand as he gave it a comforting squeeze, and the Omnitrix Wielders both shared one final hug as Johnathon grabbed onto his unconscious cousin and brought her into a tearful hug as Asashi gave one to his sister as well and Marcy hugged him back tightly as she dropped her Calamity Box just as the large drone shot a huge laser at them as the musical box crashed landed onto the ground and it opened up as the group was treated to a bright, colorful flash of light that blinded them momentarily and transported them to the world of Amphibia, alongside the huge drone and its master residing up above in space as he, his ship, and his army were all teleported onto another world.

Groaning in pain, Anne and Dereck woke up as they lifted their heads and blinked a couple of times...before their eyes widen in shock as they realized that they were lying face-first on a puddle and quickly stood up as the teens looked around, and the duo gasped in wonder/awe/fear as Anne and Dereck had quickly deduced that they weren't back on their world anymore since they were residing on a large forest/swamp with hundreds of humanoid talking frogs leaping in front of them. Trembling in fear, Anne and Dereck held hands as they turn around to run away and ventured deep into the woods as they struggled to make sense of what was going on, where their friends are, and why did the weird musical box that Anne stole earlier transported them into this weird world, but skids to a stop as they realized that the huge drone from earlier was warped into Amphibia with them as it loomed over them menacingly.

Once its sensors locked onto their Omnitrixes, the large drone hums loudly as it raises its hand high into the air and aims it at the kids as it started charging his laser cannon, and the still injured Omnitrix Wielders shivered in fear at the sight of it as they were planning to turn around and leave, but once they hear the citizens of Wartwood Swamp running in fright from the giant monster threatening to destroy their home, Anne and Dereck put on fierce, determined looks on their faces as they turned to each other and nodded as they held out their hands and activated their Omnitrixes just as the giant robot opened fire on them as the duo slammed their hands onto their watches and dual flashes of green light covered the area as we pull back to see all of Amphibia, which was a large island that resembled a humongous lilypad as the sounds of fighting, explosions, and frog croaking could be heard in the background.

Now we find ourselves
Into the wild unknown

A week later, we cue to Wartwood Swamp as we see various bug-like creatures and Frogs enjoying their peaceful day on their fair town as we zoom over to the Plantar House, where we see Anne and Dereck ducking under the Plantar's Family House small door and closed it behind them as the sixteen-year-olds stood up straight and placed their hands on their hips heroically with confident, smirks on their faces as Anne and Dereck then glance down at their Omnitrixes and turned to each other with a couple of excited smirks as they quickly turned on their watches and began scrolling down their alien playlist to see which alien they would like to turn into as they subconsciously lean closer to each other.

And we're far from home

While the teens were busy messing around with their Omnitrixes, a pair of rather large dragonflies flew past their heads as they flew up towards the roof of the house and zooms by a window, where an eager and excited Sprig Plantar emerged from it to stare at the flying dragonflies with his telescope in awe/wonder, only to then yelp in surprise as Sprig trips on the windowsill and screams in fear as he begins falling down to his death and zooms by another window, which was actually the window that leads into Hop Pop Plantar's room as the old frog was startled by his grandson's scream and turned away from his research from the Calamity Box and the pair of Omnitrixes that the duo wore as he discretely hid them under his table.

But there's so much here to discover
One leap after another

A screaming Sprig continued falling down for his life as the small pink-skinned frog crashed landed onto a wooden bucket filled with water and, after recovering from the rough landing, a stunned Sprig sits up from the bucket as he looks around and sighs in relief with a goofy smile on his face, not fazed by his near-death in the slightest before yelping in surprise as he was punched into the air by his little baby sister Polly Plantar and the small tadpole hovered in the air with a vicious look on her face as she then fell down on her bucket and pops out with a cheerful look on her face as she flashed the readers a cute, innocent smile.

Back with the teens, we see them still trying to find the right alien to use for the day, only to come up short as Anne and Dereck couldn't decide which to use yet as they groaned in annoyance and turned over to complain to each other...before realizing how close their faces were as they blushed in embarrassment and shyly pulled away as Dereck looked away and whistled nervously as a blushing Anne awkwardly pulled off the leaves from her hair. Seeing that his friend needed his help, Dereck reached over to gently remove the leaves and twigs from her hair as Anne smiled at him gratefully and returned the favor by removing the leaves and bugs from his outfit as the kids shared a laugh. After calming down, the kids slowly turned to stare into each other eyes as they blushed lightly but smiled as they started leaning closer to each other to share a kiss...only to be interrupted by Sprig as he crash-landed face-first into Anne's hair and was then launched over to Dereck as they crashed landed onto the floor.

Blinking in surprise by what just happened, Anne looks down as she saw a groaning Dereck and Sprig lying on the floor as the human boy rubbed his head, and both he and Anne glances down to glare at their froggy friend for a couple of obvious reasons as Sprig gave his friends a sheepish, awkward shrug as the Omnitrix Wielders continued glaring him for a couple of seconds before the trio shared a laugh as Anne help Dereck up to his feet and Sprig leaped up to stand onto their shoulders as he pointed ahead. Knowing that their friend clearly wants to go on another adventure, Anne gave her friend an apologetic shrug as Dereck simply closed his eyes and waved it off dismissively as she smiles in relief just as Sprig jumps off to run off into adventure as the teens followed after him while activating their Omnitrixes as two huge flashes of green light occurred and covered the area around them.

A laughing Anne, Dereck, and Sprig could be seen bouncing across a large, mushroom infested field as the Omnitrix Wielders were currently in their alien forms Grey Matter and Crashhopper as each of them were jumping across multiple huge mushrooms, and each step they took caused the mushrooms to light up with blue luminescent light. A smiling Sprig leaps across the mushroom field like the frog that he is as Grey Matter followed after him while using her intelligence and agility to find the correct and easier way to leap across the giant mushrooms, due to her small size as a smirking Crashhopper jumped near them and was easily making bigger leaps high into the air thanks to his alien biology as the group whopped in excitement/happiness.

Life doesn't get much crazier

A panicking Sprig runs across the grassy fields of a nearby forest as an equally panicking Four Arms followed after him while carrying a large dinosaur-shaped egg in her four huge hands as a huge chicken/demon-like creature was chasing after them, clearly angry at them for stealing the egg that he stole from another creature earlier to use for lunch as the giant monster caught up to the duo and was about to breathe fire on them, only to be stopped by Jetray as he flew in and shot multiple neuroshock blasts at him, causing him to be sent flying a few feet away as Jetray shot a thumbs up at the duo below and his friends did the same as they proceed to continue running away while Jetray stood behind to distract the huge chicken/demon-like monster.

The Plantar Family, including Anne and Dereck, were having a peaceful day of fishing on a swamp while sitting on a giant lily pad as they sighed contently...before yelping in surprise as the lilypad suddenly started rising high into the air, and the cautious group of humans and frogs looks down as they realized that they were not sitting on top of a lilypad, but instead were using a swamp creature's head as a seat and the huge monster clearly wasn't happy about that as he roared at them loudly. Anne, Dereck, Sprig, Hop Pop, and Polly screamed in fear as the swamp monster tried to shake them off by swimming across the lake at high speeds, but the group won't let go as the Omnitrix Wielders shared a look and nodded as they quickly activated their watches and Anne transformed into Ripjaws while Dereck transformed into Articguanna as both heroes began slashing/blasting the large monster to submission.

When you're a somewhat normal boy and girl
Living in another alien world

Sprig, Hop Pop, and a bored Polly studied the walls of the ancient temple that they were randomly adventuring in as, unknown to them, a giant boulder was heading straight towards them, and they were about to be flattened like pancakes, only for Cannonbolt and Spidermonkey to appear on the scene as Anne grabbed onto Sprig and Polly and rolled them up inside her ball form as she zooms off while Spidermonkey swung in on his webbing as he grabs on to a startled Hop Pop and swung him away to safety as the huge boulder rolled right past them.

The sounds of growling and the stench of death littered the area as a bunch of frog-like zombies appeared and corned our young heroes as Heatblast, Swampfire, and Sprig all stood back-to-back as the alien heroes glared at their adversaries determinedly while Sprig was clearly scared for his life as the menacing zombies loomed over to attack and later eat their brains.

An injured, tired, and battered Anne, Dereck, Sprig, Hop Pop, and Polly all shared a victorious high-five as they finished defeated a horde of large evil lizard/dinosaur-like creatures as they smiled and cheered at their successful adventure, only for their excitement to die down as another one of those evil creatures popped out of the bushes and screeches at them as he waddled awkwardly over to attack them. The frog family took a couple of steps back nervously, but Anne and Dereck weren't afraid by this however as they grinned at the evil monster cockily and reaches down to activate their Omnitrixes...only for them to receive two powered down beeps as the teens slowly looked down and realize that their Omnitrixes powered down to recharge. Blinking at this, the trio all shared an emotionless look before screaming in fear as they turned around to run away with the lizard/dinosaur-like monster chasing after them as Anne, Dereck, and Plantar Family desperately pleaded at the Omnitrixes to recharge faster.

An old ripped printed image appears to be stuck in the branch of a lone tree as heavy rain rang out with the wind blowing on the photo harshly as loud lightning rang out and we peered into the photo to see Anne, Dereck, Sasha, Johnathon, Marcy, and Asashi all sharing a group hug with their smiling faces shining brightly as another flash of lightning occurred, and we see that the image was distorted a bit as it shows a glaring Anne and Dereck reaching out to grab onto their Omnitrixes as they were standing in front of an angry mutated Sasha with her equally angry cousin standing beside as he had his arms morphed into large dual swords. The group growled at each other furiously as a flash of lightning rang out, and we see Marcy and Asashi cooly standing in the background with their backs turned to them as they wore different clothing and held the Calamity Box in their hands as another flash of lightning occurred, and two pair of red alien-like/newt-like eyes could be seen placed at the top of the photo as they were glaring down at the group of kids angrily.

A roaring Wildmutt and a smirking Crystalline could be seen standing in front of a pond located at Wartwood Swamp as they posed heroically before their Omnitrixes symbols started flashing red as they both transformed into their human forms with dual flashes of red light. Once it dies down, we see a yelping Anne waving around wildly as she tripped on a rock and began falling down as she screamed before being caught by Dereck as the young teen smiled down at her cheekily and helped her up to her feet as he held her in his arms and Anne blushed a bit by this as she giggles and Dereck smirked as the kids begin leaning in to share their first kiss, only to deadpanned as the Plantar Family showed up and a happy and oblivious Sprig leaped onto his human friends. Anne and Dereck gave their froggy friend a subtle annoyed look before shrugging as the rest of their Wartwood friends appeared and stood beside them as they turn over to flash at the readers a friendly smile with Anne and Dereck posing heroically as they raised their hands high into the air, and the camera zoomed in onto their glowing Omnitrix symbols as the title card of the story appeared on the screen.

{Amphibia 13!- Season 1, Episode 3: Alien Cane Crazy}

"Wow, guys, look at all of your cool stuff!" Sprig exclaimed cheerfully as we cue to the next day and see the humanoid Frog and the Omnitrix Wielders resting in Anne and Dereck's shared Basement Room as Sprig's Human Guests were showing them the contents of their backpacks. "What's this?" Sprig asked while grabbing onto Anne's toenail clipper as he studied it curiously. "Ah, I get it. This is some kind of torture device, right?" Sprig asked as Anne chuckled amusedly.

"Ha, ha, no, dude, that's just a toenail clipper."

"Oh, okay, okay, sure, noted...oh! What about this weird thing?" Sprig suddenly asked while grabbing into Anne's red air pump as he proceeds to stick the nozzle into his mouth and began pumping his head with air. "It's painful."

"Don't just stick random stuff into your mouth like that, Sprig!" Dereck scolded as Sprig nodded before opening his mouth as his head inflated like a balloon and flew around as he crashes somewhere offscreen. "Also, why do you have an air pump in your backpack, Anne?" Dereck asked as Anne was about to speak up but promptly shuts up as Sprig's voice rang out in the background.

"Hey, Dereck, what's this weird book you have hidden in your backpack?" Sprig asked as Dereck flinched and felt a deep dread fill his body as he and Anne turned as their eyes widen in shock at what seems to be an...adult magazine resting in Sprig's hands as he took it out from Dereck's backpack and was looking through the magazine with wide, curious eyes. "Oh, wow! It has a bunch of those pictures things of several creatures that look exactly like you, Anne, except bigger and not wearing clothes...they must've forgotten to wear them." Sprig says innocently with a shrug.

"...Dereck, care to explain to me on why did you have that in your backpack?" Anne, whose hair was covering her eyes, asked her friend with an emotionless yet somewhat furious look as Dereck blushes in embarrassment and rubs his neck nervously as the sixteen-year-old teen boy's eyes shifted back and forth anxiously.

"Well...uh...you see, Anne...that's not mine!" Dereck yelled while rushing over to snatch the magazine out of Sprig's hands as he proceeds to toss it out of the window. "I was just holding it for a friend," Dereck says while leaning against the wall with his arms crossed casually as Anne continued glaring at him scoldingly.

"Uh-huh," Anne says, not believing a word that her friend was saying, as Dereck nodded nervously.

"Yep...and now I will go outside to pee, so don't follow after me." Dereck randomly says as he turned around to walk up the stairs leading to upstairs.

"But there's a bathroom in here and inside of the house." A confused Sprig pointed out.

"Yep, that's right," Dereck says calmly without looking at him as he made his way upstairs and quickly ran out of the house as he closes the hatch behind him with a loud thud.

"Huh, I wonder what that was about. Hey, Anne, what was the book that Dereck was carrying around in his backpack?"

"I will tell you when you're older," Anne says while waving her hand around carelessly as she was still a little miffed about finding out that her friend had an...adult magazine in his backpack the whole time they were in Amphibia.

"Okay...oh, and what's this?" Sprig asked while bending down to grab Anne's pen as he began clicking it repeatedly. "...Oh, I love this. This is amazing." Sprig says while staring at the pen with an intrigued look on his face as Anne smiled at this amusedly, feeling a little bit better after what happened earlier as she giggled.

"You know what? You can keep it." Anne says as Sprig beamed and hugged her to give her his thanks as he was about to continue playing with his new pen but stopped as a clanging bell rang out.

"Kids! Chow time!" Hop Pop yelled as Anne and Sprig beamed excitedly and ran upstairs as they made their way towards the kitchen, where they saw Polly and Dereck, who had his mud-covered magazine stuffed inside of his pocket, sitting at the table as Anne and Sprig walked over to sat beside them as Dereck turned over to give Anne an awkward, guilty look.

"Hey, look Anne about the magazine-,"

"We will talk about it later," Anne says while raising her hand to stop him from talking as Dereck flinched but nodded just as Hop Pop showed up with a cauldron filled with green sludge as the group beamed.

"Time to eat! Time to eat!" Anne, Dereck, Sprig, and Polly chanted while slamming their hands on the table a bunch of times as Hop Pop shakes his head at this with a warm chuckle.

"Hold on, you kids. Hold on." Hop Pop says while placing each of their bowls into his cauldron as he proceeds to hand it over to each kid, and Sprig and Polly instantly went to eat it, but the Omnitrix Wielders, however, were a little hesitant on eating it due to their bowls being filled with green slime and bugs as they grimaced before Dereck sighs heavily as he began eating from his bowl.

"Dude, seriously? Gross!" Anne says while sticking out her tongue in disgust as Dereck turned to her and shrugged.

"Hey, food is food. Besides, we've eaten way worse stuff than this on our first few nights in Amphibia."

"True, but still, this is gross. I'm not eating this," Anne says while pushing her bowl forwards as her stomach grumbles, reminding her that she actually needs to eat food to survive as Anne grabs her stomach and groans before an idea popped into her head as she smirks slyly. "Well, I may not be able to eat this crap, but..." Anne trails off as she looks down at her Omnitrix and activated it by pressing the two green buttons on her device as the core popped out, showing a silhouette Wildmutt as Anne grinned and began circling through her alien playlist as Hop Pop sees this and frowns disapprovingly as he stops serving his slop to give the poof-haired girl a stern look.

"Anne, please, don't-," Hop Pop says before being interrupted by Anne finding the right alien that she wanted to use and raised her arm as she slammed her hand down on the core and a flash of green light rang out as everyone was forced to cover their eyes.

[Anne 13's Transformation Sequence]

Smirking confidently at the readers, a flash of green luminescent light travels across the young girl's form as Anne raised her arm and her skin changed from light brown to light green as purple cloth-like material began covering her arm, and Anne smirked as she twirled around and raised her other arm as her light brown skin changed to light green and the same purple cloth-like material appeared as it covered her whole arm. With her transformation sequence nearly complete, Anne grunted lightly as she leaped up into the air and did a front flip in mid-air before landed back into the ground with a small thud as her human legs transformed into stubby frog-like three-toed feet, and Anne turned around as her whole body turned light green with multiple dark green spots as light-gray material-like clothing began covering her alien form and a small tail popped out as it wiggled slightly. Once she finished transforming into her small alien form, Anne whirled around to flash a crooked, hungry smile at the camera as she opened her mouth, and three dark green very strong, adhesive tongues shot out of her mouth as Anne grabbed onto a nearby mushroom, and proceeds to yank it out of the ground as transformed teen eats it whole with her Omnitrix symboled stomach expanding a bit as it glows green, and, before anyone could react, Anne barfed out an explosive green slime ball at the screen as a large explosion occurred and completely destroyed the screen as another flash of green light rang out.

Once the green light dies down, we see that Anne had now transformed into a 3-feet-tall, Perk Gourmand Female as she has a humanoid frog-like body with small constantly squinting pupilless green eyes that have three eyelashes on each eye, multiple light green sprout-like growths on top of her head that resemble Anne's hair as it has leaves and twigs on it, whisker-like lines on his face, no nose, crooked teeth overbite, a double chin, long four-fingered hands, light green skin with dark green spots covering all of her body, an extremely short and fat built (Don't you dare say that to her or else Anne will hurt you, Dereck should know...), a short curly green tail, short stubby three-toed frog-like feet, and her outfit consisting of a light gray one-piece swimsuit-like clothes with purple oversleeves, thin purple bands around her legs, purple padding under her feet, and has the Omnitrix Symbol located in the middle of her stomach.

"...Upchuck, definitely can!" The now named Upchuck finished her sentence with a grin as she opened her mouth, and three dark green, very strong, adhesive tongues shot out of her mouth as it latched onto her bowl, and Anne lifted it up into the air, above her mouth as she promptly dumps the contents inside.

"Go, Anne, go!" Dereck, Sprig, and Polly cheered as they watched Upchuck eating her whole food with one gulp as Anne burped before reaching out to grab Hop Pop's cauldron filled with green sludge and bugs with her three tongues, and the startled Old Frog could only watch in shock as Upchuck began chugging down his cauldron of sludge. "Chug! Chug! Chug! Chug! Chug!" Dereck, Sprig, and Polly chanted as Upchuck finished eating up all of the green sludge inside of the cauldron and promptly threw it away as Anne retracted her tongues back into her mouth and leaped up into the middle of the table as she raised her hands into the air in victory and burped as everyone, sans Hop Pop, cheered for her as the reddish-orange skinned Frog glared at the transformed teen sternly/angrily.

"Anne, I thought I told you to stop transforming so much inside of my house. Also, did you really have to transform into this...thing to eat my food?" Hop Pop asked with a raised eyebrow and crossed arms as he was really annoyed that Anne ate all of the food that took all day for him to make.

"Well, I wouldn't have to transform into Upchuck if your food was actually...you know...edible," Upchuck says with a shrug while jumping down from the table as Hop Pop and Dereck gasped slightly at what she said.

"Ooooohhhhh burn!" Sprig and Polly exclaimed in unison as Hop Pop composed himself and glared at the transformed girl as he marched over to glare down at the pudgy light green-skinned alien female.

"Oh, really? My food is bad, huh? Well, what about Sprig, Polly, and even your little boyfriend here? They were able to eat my food with no trouble. Is my food really not that edible, or is my food not good enough for you, Princess?" Hop Pop asked with a sharp glare as Upchuck blushed a dark green and growled as she glared back at him slightly.

"First of all, Dereck is not my boyfriend. Second, if I am the Princess, then doesn't that makes you the King of Shitty Cooking?"

"Oh, snap!" Polly yelled while trying to snap her fingers...before remembering that she doesn't have fingers as she pouted.

"Oh, yeah?! Well, you...I...uh..."

"What's the matter, Hop Pop? Frog in your throat?" Upchuck quipped while leaning against the table smugly.

"Ohhh! She got you again!" Sprig and Polly exclaimed while sharing a laugh as Dereck, however, didn't find the situation to be amusing once he saw Hop Pop legitimately getting angry by Anne not only insulting his cooking but making fun of him in front of his Grandkids and quickly stood up as he walked over to Anne and bends down to place his hand on Upchuck's shoulder.

"Anne, stop, that's enough," Dereck warns as Upchuck turns to shrug at him with a cat-like smug grin on her face.

"Why? It's not my fault that he can dish it out, but he can't take the heat...although he seems to can't do either as even Upchuck doesn't like his cold, bad cooking." Anne added in playfully as Hop Pop gritted his teeth, and his face went red with unbriddled rage as he slammed his hands on the table.

"Godammit, that is it! You know what? I'm gonna take a nap." Hop Pop says while turning around to storm off to his room as he grumbles under his breath angrily and places his hand on the door handle of his room as Hop Pop turned to glare at Upchuck. "I don't believe this! You're such an ungrateful brat, Anne! I feed you, I house you when literally no one else wants you around, and this is how you repay me?! Why can't you be more like Dereck!? At least he's well-behaved and grateful for everything I've done for him! I swear to the great Frog in the sky, Anne, if you don't shape up soon, I'm throwin' you out!" Hop Pop yelled firmly before walking back into his room as he slammed the door shut...before opening it and slamming it shut again in his anger as everyone blinked at this in stunned shock.

Whack!

"Ow!" Upchuck says while rubbing her head as she looks up to glare at Dereck. "What was that for?!" Upchuck asked as it was now Dereck's turn to glare down at her.

"I told you to stop teasing Hop Pop! And, now, he's threatening to kick you out if you don't cut out with your shit!" Dereck yelled with worried, panicky eyes, not wanting to see Hop Pop kicking out his best friend to fend off for herself as Anne rolled her eyes at this and scoffed.

"Oh, calm down, Dereck. Hop Pop just overreacted. It's no big deal." Upchuck says dismissively before coming up with a mischievous idea as she grinned and ran over to grab one of Hop Pop's discarded jackets and his wooden canes as Anne puts on the jacket before hunching over as she pulled back her hair and puts on a more grumpy, stern look. "Hey, look at me! I'm Hop Pop, and I cook badly and have a temper problem!" Upchuck says while imitating Hop Pop's voice and mannerisms as everyone, sans Dereck, begins laughing.

"That's so Hop Pop!" Sprig says with a laugh as Polly giggled.

"Anne, seriously, cool it with the jokes already. They're not even funny anymore." Dereck says with a frown while crossing his arms in irritation as Upchuck promptly ignores him and continues making fun of Hop Pop.

"Eat your aphids, don't play with them. Elbows off the table! Sometimes I wonder why I even bother putting up with you at all!" Upchuck yelled while tossing Hop Pop's cane into the air as Sprig and Polly laughed again as Anne smirked at this and laughed as well before gagging as the wooden cane fell into her open mouth, and Upchuck reflexively eats it as she gulps it down, much to the surprise of everyone as even Sprig and Polly was cut short due to the surprising turn of events.

"Oh, whoops," Upchuck says sheepishly as she gagged and barfed out Hop Pop's cane as it fell onto the ground, and everyone winced as they saw that the wooden cane was covered with acidic slime, and the cane was eventually melted down into bubbly ashes as everyone stared down at the small puddle of acid in stunned shock/disbelief/horror.

Whack!

"Ow...okay, I deserved that," Upchuck says admittedly while rubbing the sore spot on the back of her head where Dereck hits her as he was about to berate his friend about accidentally eating Hop Pop's cane but stopped as the Omnitrix Wielders noticed that Sprig and Polly still had looks of shock/terror on their faces.

"Are you guys okay?" Dereck asked worriedly as Upchuck furrowed her eyebrows at them concernedly.

"Yeah, I mean, I know that I accidentally melted down one of Hop Pop's canes with my stomach acid, but what's the big deal? It's just one cane. He has several more." Upchuck says while pointing at a small bin filled with more of Hop Pop's canes as the Plantar Siblings snapped out of their shock and gave Anne nervous looks.

"That wasn't just any cane, Anne," Polly says as Sprig nodded with a grim expression on his face.

"Yeah, it was Hop Pop's special cane, passed down from his father, Hop Poppity Pop, all the way from his father, Hop-and-Lock-Drop Soppity Pop!" Sprig says while pointing at their family portraits as Upchuck's face grew pale by what he said and panics as she turned over to give her friends a pleading, nervous look.

"Guys, I know that I missed up and that I was rude and everything, but you all have to help me buy Hop Pop a new cane that looks exactly like the old one that I ate, or else Hop Pop is going to kick me out the house! And, I cannot, repeat, I cannot go back to living in a cave!" Upchuck says as she and even Dereck flinched wildly as they both had a small flashback appear in their brains.

~[Flashback]~

"S-So cold..." Anne murmurs under her breath as we cue to their first day in Amphibia and see both her and Dereck living in a small cave in the woods that was filled with hundreds of bugs and other kinds of small, disgusting animals as it was raining heavily outside and thunder rang out as the Omnitrix Wielders were sleeping together on the ground, using a couple of rocks as makeshift pillows and cuddling each other for warmth as they would be incredibly embarrassed and blushing to be so close with each other if they didn't stink like crap and were scared out of their minds to be in a new alien world.

"I-I know, Anne, I know," Dereck says while placing his hand around Anne's waist to hug her tighter as both of them were shivering terribly by the cold.

"Ow, Dereck, your thing is poking me!" Anne says as she felt something long and pointy poking her lower body.

"Oh, sorry about that," Dereck says while bending down to grab his...wooden stick that he was carrying around inside of his pocket as he tossed it away.

"Why did you bring that in here, anyway?" Anne asked in irritation while turning her head to look at Dereck as he rolled his eyes.

"I was trying to build a fire, okay." Dereck drawls out with a groan as Anne rolled her eyes, but then both kids gasped in fear as they heard a familiar robotic noise rang out from outside, and the Omnitrix Wielders shuffled deeper inside of the cave to hide with fearful looks on their faces as they hugged each other in terror.

~[Flashback Over]~

"The nights were the hardest," Upchuck says with a haunted expression on her face as she shivered, and Dereck did the same before bending down to place his hand on Anne's shoulder with a reassuring look on his face.

"Don't worry, Anne, I-Uh, I mean, we won't let that happen," Dereck says with a small blush on his face as Sprig nodded in agreement with a big smile on his face.

"Yeah, Anne, we'll do whatever it takes to help you out." Sprig says as Polly, however, didn't really agree with her brother as she shrugged with a bored look on her face.

"Eh, count me out."

"Polly!"

"What? I hardly know her and Dereck. Why should I help her?"

"Would you help us for a Polly Snack?" Dereck asked teasingly while pulling out a wrapped-up chocolate bar that had the words 'Polly Snacks' written on it.

"A Rolly Rack!? Heck reah! Rou ruys rot rourself ra real!" Polly exclaimed gleefully while talking like a particular talking dog as Dereck and the others smiled as Polly then leaped up to snatch her new snack out of Dereck's hand and began eating it.

"Now that we bribed Polly to help us, let's go and save my skin from getting kicked out of this house!" Upchuck says as Dereck nodded.

"Yeah, but first, we need to find someone who's good at making canes. Maybe like a woodcarver or something." Dereck says thoughtfully as Sprig beamed and leaped up into Dereck's arms as he smiled at him excitedly.

"Dereck, you're a genius! We'll just take it to Leopold Loggle, the Woodsmith! He loves wood...almost a little too much." Sprig says with a deadpan, blank expression on his face as everyone blinked at this quietly until Upchuck snorted as she chuckled.

"Well, that's a sexual innuendo as I've ever heard one." An amused Upchuck says as Polly turns to her confusedly.

"What's a sexual innuendo?"

"Oh, nothing, Polly. Anyway, let's go and meet the Woodsmith once I transform back into Anne." Upchuck says as Dereck and the others nodded and waited until Anne's Omnitrix timed out before making their way into town.

After waiting around for Anne to time out and transform back to normal, we see the gang standing in Wartwood's very own Wood Shop, where a Woodsmith was currently inspecting the portrait of Hop Pop with his cane that Anne and the others had stolen earlier as he hums thoughtfully. The Woodsmith is a 4'8-feet-tall, 65-year-old, anthropomorphic Axolotl Male with small closed white eyes that has blue pupils, small white tufts of hair on the side of his head with a large bald spot, wrinkles on his face, no nose, a large white mustache, a light green tongue, dark blue gills, light blue skin, two long four-fingered arms, a tall slim built, three-toed long legs, and his outfit consists of a pair of goggles that are wrapped around his head with the left lens being clear while the right lens is green that has three small settings on it (Similar to a microscope), a brown work apron with a beige shirt underneath, a red scarf that he wears around his neck, and grey boots. His name is Leopold Loggle, Wartwood's Finest Woodsmith.

"Uh-huh. Oh, oh, yes. Well, aren't you fascinating? Yes, you are." Leopold says creepily while inspecting the photo as he was impressed by the craftsmanship of the cane in the photo. "So, how did you all destroyed it?" Leopold asked curiously as Anne, and the others shared awkward looks with sweatdrops.

"Trust me, dude, you don't want to know," Anne says as Dereck stepped up,

"Anyway, can you make a new one?" Dereck asked anxiously/hopefully as Leopold smiled at him cheerfully.

"As a matter of fact, young man, I can...not," Leopold says with the same smile as the group shared confused, disappointed looks.

"Do you have one we could buy?" Sprig asked.

"Of course I do...n't. I-I don't."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"...Do you know anyone that could possess a cane like this?" Polly asked as Leopold beamed.

"Of course...not."

"Dude, why do you keep doing that?!" Anne asked in frustration/irritation as her hand was twitching on activating her Omnnitrix to beat up the annoying old man.

"Old smithing accident...you don't want to know," Leopold says ominously as everyone blinked at this with disturbed looks on their faces.

"Uh, okay, so-,"

"I used to be a Metalsmith, but one day I accidentally tripped on an anvil. Yep, landed neck-first right into a metal pipe, and it pierced right through my voice box!" Leopold shouted while pulling down his scarf to show off the scar on his neck as everyone groaned in surprise/disgust at the sight of it.

"Blegh!" Polly gags in horror while sticking out her tongue in revulsion as a green-faced Dereck covered her eyes.

"Dude, come on!" Anne yells while holding out her arm as she looked away.

"Cool." Sprig commented with his usual cheerful smile as Leopold raises up his scarf to cover his scar, much to everyone sans Sprig's relief as Leopold rested against his table.

"I was able to heal my injuries eventually, but I accidentally healed my voice box wrong, so now I have a speaking issue in which when I say saying introducing adverbs I pause...before saying the ending negative word," Leopold explains as everyone nodded but didn't say anything as they were still disturbed by his scar. "Anyway, after I finished healing my voice box, I switched over to wood."

"Look, that's a nice story and everything, but can you please tell us why you can't make a replica of Hop Pop's Cane?" Dereck asked as Leopold nodded and begins to explain why he can't make them a new cane.

"Alright, look, I'm afraid I can't do much for you guys because your Hop Pop's Cane was made with wood from the incredibly rare, extremely dangerous Doom Tree!" Leopold says while turning around to grab a large ancient-looking book from one of his bookshelves as he placed it on the counter and opened the book as it showed a page about a magical creature named 'The Doom Tree' and it shows the picture of a black tree with red eyes and a red mouth. "Few have made it to the Doom Tree alive, fewer yet returned. It holds many secrets that mortals dare not-,"

"Dude, we don't care. It may be a rare, cursed tree or whatever, but Dereck and I have a pair of high-tech watches that can transform us into thirteen powerful aliens. I think we can handle a magic tree. So just spare us the dramatics and just tell us where it is." Anne says sassily while crossing her arms as Sprig nodded.

"Yeah, Loggle, cut the chitchat!"

"You're bald!" Polly randomly insulted as a sweatdropping Leopold raises his arms in surrender.

"Okay, okay." Leopold says while turning the page of the book to show the map of how to get to the cursed tree. "I got a map to the Doom Tree right here, but it'll cost ya."

"Oh, no need. I have it mesmerized." Dereck says casually as Leopold blinked at him confusedly.

"H-Huh? What do you mean by that?"

"Oh, Dereck has a Photographic Memory, which means that he's able to remember everything by memory in excellent detail just by looking at something once," Anne explained as Leopold blinks slowly while Sprig and Polly stared at a sheepish Dereck in awe.

"Oh..." Leopold says with a massive sweatdrop on his head, regretting showing them the map as Dereck smiled at him cheerfully.

"Thanks for showing us the map. Anyway, let's go, guys." Dereck says as Anne nodded anxiously.

"Yeah, come on, guys. We gotta hurry. Hop Pop could wake up at any second!"

"Right!" The Plantar Siblings stated in unison/determination as the group turned around to run away.

"Be careful, you kids. It's cursed, I tell ya. Cursed!"

"To the Doom Tree, everyone!" Anne stated gleefully with Dereck taking lead as he opened the door and ran out of the Wood Shop as his best friend followed shortly after while carrying around a cheering Polly on her hair as Sprig ran behind her but stopped as he noticed a...particular wooden statue of a muscular, naked Leopold doing a pose.

"Whoa, Loggle. T-This is a...yeah, we gotta talk about this, man. We're comin' back. We're gonna talk about this. All right, goodbye." Sprig says to Leopold while giving the statue one final disturbed, disgusted look as he runs off to follow the others.

For the next couple of hours, we see the group making their way out of Wartwood with Dereck taking the lead as they arrived at Fog Forest, and Anne quickly transformed into Wildmutt as she bends down to allow everyone to board on top of her as the female Vulpimancer uses her enhanced senses and agility to transverse across the foggy forest with ease as the group had managed to make their way out of the dense forest with no trouble just as Anne transforms back to normal as they continued walking. Walking past a valley of tall mountains named Death Ridge, we see the group arriving at Swamp Lake as Dereck decided that it was his turn to carry the group and transforms into Jetray as the Plantar Siblings mounted onto him, and Dereck grabbed onto Anne's body with his feet as he swiftly flew them to the other side of the large lake in a few seconds flat before landing on the ground as Jetray lets go of Anne and bends down to allow the young Frog and Tadpole to jump off of his back as they continued on their journey after waiting around for Dereck to time out.

"Alright, guys, we're getting close," Dereck says as he and the others were making their way through Doom Forest as an irritated Anne was trying to swat away a couple of annoying bugs and animals that wanted to live in her hair, Sprig was humming a little song under his breath, and a bored Polly was riding on top of her brother's head as she yawns. "Wait, stop! We're here!" Dereck yelled as the others perked up and gasped expectantly as the group moved forwards, and the Omnitrix Wielders pushed back a couple of big leaves as the Humans, and the Frogs gasped in shock at the sight of a giant, black tree resting in the middle of a small meadow as there were hundreds of yellow/blue mushrooms forming around it.

"Whoa, now that's a huge ass tree!" Anne commented in shock as she and the others stared up at the tree in awe.

"Just one of Mother Nature's greatest wonders." Sprig says as the others nodded and began walking towards the tree with all of them feeling slightly unease by the creepy atmosphere forming around the area as they saw multiple Frog skulls littered across the ground.

"Ha, ha, Frogs died here," Polly says with an awkward, nervous laugh as the group made their way towards the giant tree and studied it curiously/nervously as Anne spotted something that made her beam.

"Hey, look! That branch is perfect!" Anne stated cheerfully while pointing at a long black tree branch that was placed fifteen feet above them as Dereck and the others nodded at it approvingly.

"Agreed, so who's going to fetch the tree branch?" Dereck asked as Polly crossed her arms with a scoff.

"Well, I don't have any legs, so you people with your legs have to fetch it."

"Oh, I'll get it!" Sprig exclaimed while grunting as he leaped up into the air and latched onto a small tree branch as the pink Poisonous Frog began climbing up the tree.

"Oh, let me tag along to help you, Sprig. That tree branch looks sturdy." Anne says while walking over to latch onto the tree as she started climbing it.

"Uh, are you sure that you don't want me to help Sprig, Anne?" Dereck asked worriedly as Anne rolled her eyes amusedly.

"I know how to climb a tree, Dereck. Besides, you were basically our human map throughout all of the journey. The least I can do is fetch the stick." Anne says as Dereck frowned before shrugging as he and Polly watched as Anne and Sprig had made it up to the tree branch that the poof-haired teen had selected and grabbed onto it as they began trying to pull it. "Ugh, come on, come on..." Anne mumbled under her breath as both she and Sprig tried their best to rip out the tree branch, but it proved to be too sturdy for them to come off easily as Anne and Sprig took a short break to catch their breaths. "Man, this branch is strong. Although, this is supposedly a 'cursed' tree, so I guess that makes sense. Hmmm, maybe, I should go Four Arms and rip this thing apart?" Anne says to herself thoughtfully as Sprig shakes his head.

"Nah, we got this, Anne. We just have to pull at the same time." Sprig says while placing his hands on the black tree branch as Anne nodded and did the same.

"Got it. Alright, pull on three. One, two...three!" Anne yelled as she and Sprig grunted as they pulled on the black tree branch with all of their strength and had managed to crack it a bit as they were close to ripping it out of the tree but, before they could, the cursed tree let out a painful, angered shriek as everyone paused what they were doing and blinked in confusion.

"D-Did the tree just screamed?" Dereck asked Polly in disbelief as the Tadpole shrugged, but then she and the others gasped in shock as the giant tree began shaking violently and caused a screaming Anne and Sprig to fall off the tree as Dereck quickly swoops in and caught them in his arms with a surprisingly amazing amount of strength as he held Anne bridal style and Sprig laid on her lap.

"Wow, good catch, Dereck." An impressed Anne says while placing her arms around his neck to balance herself as he smirked.

"Thanks," Dereck says before he and the others gasped loudly as they watched with wide eyes as the giant tree continued trembling violently before suddenly uprooting himself out of the ground as his roots slowly formed into multiple leg-shaped appendages and two huge arm-shaped thick branches popped out of his sides as two red eyes and a mouth formed out of the tree bark and the Cursed Tree proceeds to glare down at the stunned group.

"...We should run now, right?" Dereck asked as the Cursed Tree growled angrily and roared, spitting a bunch of maple syrup onto their bodies as he raised his arms, and suddenly the mushrooms planted around him sprang up into life as they grew up to be five-feet-tall with humanoid bodies as each of them had glowing yellow/blue eyes, large jagged teeth, three-fingered clawed hands, and two-toed feet as there was at least twenty of them currently surrounding the group.

"Yep! Everyone! Run!" Anne shouted as she and the others quickly turned around to run away with Polly jumping onto Dereck's head to hitch a ride as the Cursed Tree roared at his Mushroom Minions to chase after them and kill the intruders for trying to steal one of his branches as they obediently followed their master's commands and rushed forwards to chase after the group.

"Okay, so maybe the curse was real after all!" Sprig yelled nervously as we see him and the others running through Doom Forest with the Mushroom Minions chasing after them as the group tried to lose them by zigzagging around, but they were pretty relentless in trying to kill them as they managed to duck around or evade the obstacles that the gang had put up to try and stop them.

"Yeah, which is why we need to continue running and get the hell out of here!" Dereck yelled as Anne and Sprig nodded in agreement while a confused Polly turned towards the Omnitrix Wielders.

"Wait, guys, why are we running?" Polly asked with a puzzled look on her face as the group turned to her in disbelief.

"What do you mean why we're running?! Don't you see that we're being chased after by an army of giant mushroom monsters that a cursed tree spawned!?" An exasperated Anne yelled as Polly rolled her eyes at this and crossed her arms.

"Yeah, I know, but still, why are we running away from the monsters? Aren't you guys the ones with the monster busters on your watch thingies? Use them!" Polly yelled as Anne and Dereck blinked...before groaning loudly as they completely forgot that they were wearing the Omnitrixes.

"Right, right, completely forgot that we have superpowers for a moment there." A sheepish Dereck says as he skids to a stop, and Sprig leaped out of Anne's lap as he grabbed onto Polly and runs off as Dereck gently places Anne back down onto the ground just as the horde of evil living mushrooms appeared as the Omnitrix Wielders smirked at them cockily.

"Ok, Tree Monster, you and your army of evil mushrooms are going down!" Anne exclaimed with a confident grin on her face as Sprig and Polly popped their heads from the tree that they were hiding in.

"Bring the heat, guys!" Polly yelled with a big excited grin on her face as Anne and Dereck shared a smirk as they activated their Omnitrixes just as the Mushroom Minions were beginning to approach them as the teenagers quickly found the aliens they were looking for, and then they slammed their hands down onto their Omnitrixes as their bodies were covered in dual flashes of bright green light.

A flash of green luminescent light travels across the young girl's form as Anne Boonchuy frowns at the readers stoically with her arms and legs spread out as five giant torrents of hot red/orange fire shot out of her hands, legs, and even out of her head as the torrent of fires whirled around the young teen, creating a huge tornado made out of fire as a glaring Anne could be seen floating in the middle of it with a fiery hot aura covering her body as Anne's messy auburn hair went up in flames and turned orange/yellow as it flew up in the air, anime-style with her usual twigs and leaves levitating above her hair and constantly burning down before reconstructing itself as it kept doing that over and over again as Anne Boonchuy slowly looked up at the readers furiously and opened her mouth as another large torrent of fire shot out of it.

Closing his eyes, a flash of green luminescent light washed over the young teenage body as Dereck floated in the air and held out his hands and legs as his Caucasian skin slowly turned green, and Dereck clenched his fist as his human arm transformed into something more bug-like with three sharp claws as his other arm transformed as well and Dereck whirled around as his legs slowly turned green and his human legs bugled out as they morphed to resemble a pair of significantly large grasshopper-like three-jointed hind legs and Dereck lets out a cricket-like noise as he used his new powerful legs to leap into the air and twirled around as he swiftly finished transforming into his new alien form and lets out a loud excited cocky cheer as another flash of green light appeared.

Back with Anne, we see that her transformation sequence was nearly complete as the torrent of fire that was shooting out of her mouth suddenly turned around and flew towards her body as it whirled around her, and we see Anne stoically looking up to glare at the readers as she raised her arm and multiple dark red volcanic rocks began covering it as it travels up to cover her head, and Anne closed her eyes before opening them, revealing them to be pure white as a dark red mask-shaped rock appeared and covered her flaming face as a flash of bright light occurred and we see Anne fully transformed into her alien form as her stoic demeanor disappeared and was replaced with a more grinning, confident one as she winked at the readers and raised her arms as she conjured two large fireballs in her hands and threw a couple of fire punches into the air as she then threw up her hands into the air in victory and another flash of green light appeared.

Once the flash of green light occurred, we see that Anne transformed into a 5-feet-tall, Pyronite female as she has an orange/red, humanoid, fire-based form with her body being composed of a super hot inner plasma that was covered by dark red/black volcanic rocks, a lean/curvy rock-like faceplate with pure white eyes, small cracks on her faceplate, messy poofy hair that was constantly on fire with her usual twigs and leaves levitating above her hair and constantly burning down before reconstructing itself as it kept doing that over and over again, a tongue that was made out of fire, small and thin hands/forearms, an outward chest, a lean hourglass slim figure, her Omnitrix symbol is located above her chest, her feet have a slight oval-like design with only two toes and one back toe, and her whole body was radiating with extreme heat. Her name is-

"Heatblast!" The now named Heatblast shouted as she raised her arms and fired a wave of hot fire into the ground as she created a big wall of fire that caused the Mushroom Minions to stop in their tracks and stared at the wall of fire in shock/fear as they took a couple of steps back warily.

Once the green light dies down, we see that Dereck had now transformed into a 7-feet-tall, Orthopterran male as he greatly resembles a mix between a grasshopper and a praying mantis with a large segmented horn on top of his head as he has two smaller horns on the sides of his head where his pupilless green eyes are placed, each horn has three tiny spikes behind them as there is also three spikes on each forearm and the back of both tarsi on his legs, yellow jagged teeth, his chin is quite small with two lines on it, a segmented neck, two sharp fingered arms with a thumb on each hand, three gill-like structures under his armpits, a slim muscular body, murky green skin, light green film connected to the tibia and tarsus of his legs, significantly large three-jointed hind limbs, and two light-colored claw-like toes on his feet along with one on the back. His outfit consists of gray collard overalls with three black stripes, and a gray tip with the gray stripe on his stomach has a large gray hexagonal patch where his Omnitrix symbol is located and a smaller white stripe. His name is-

"Crashhopper!" The now named Crashhopper shouted as he lets out a loud cricket-like noise and jumped up high into the air as he twirled around in mid-air and managed to leap over the wall of fire as Crashhopper crashed landed onto the ground and produced a big green shockwave that not only blew out the wall of fire but also sends all of the Mushroom Villains flying away as they crashed landed onto the ground with a couple of pained groans.

"Crashhopper? I thought we were going to transform into our fire-based aliens and bring the heat like Polly said earlier?" Heatblast asked confusedly, wondering why Dereck didn't transform into Swampfire, as her partner turned over to give her a deadpan raised eyebrow.

"Anne, you do realize that we still need to collect the branch from the Tree Monster, right? We can't exactly get a piece of his body if we burned it down to a crisp." Crashhopper says as Heatblast blinks slowly before groaning as she facepalmed herself for her stupid mistake. "Besides, I don't want us to cause a forest fire like last time," Crashhopper says while giving Anne a sharp look as she sweatdrops nervously and looks away sheepishly.

~[Flashback]~

"Going to get some firewood~," Anne sang under her breath while making her way through the woods as she arrived at the small cave that she and Dereck were sleeping in and was carrying around a bunch of sticks as Anne looks around and noticed that her friend wasn't around as she shrugs. "Hmmm, Dereck must be out getting some food. Better to start the fire now before he comes back." Anne says as she promptly drops the sticks onto the ground and begins trying to set up a fire...before remembering that she never learned how to do so as she pouted. "Great, how in the hell am I going to get this thing up and running?" Anne says...before grinning mischievously as she giggled and looks down at her Omnitrix as the young teen quickly activates it and slammed her hand down on it as Anne transforms into Heatblast with a weak flash of green light.

"He, he, well, if Anne Boonchuy can't set up the campfire, then Heatblast can!" Heatblast exclaimed as she raised her finger and fired a weak heat ray onto the bundle of sticks as she had managed to create a small fire. "He, he, he, I'm so smart," Heatblast says with a grin...before her eyes widen in surprise as she noticed that her fire began growing bigger and bigger until it started spreading out to a nearby tree as it was set on fire. "Shit!" Heatblast cursed loudly as she raised her arms and tried to put out the fire by absorbing the fire into her body...before remembering that she never learned how to do that as Anne ended up fueling up the flames and, after a few seconds, the whole fucking forest was set on fire! "Double shit!"

"ANNE! WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO?!" Dereck asked while coming into the scene as he was holding onto a dead small creature for them to eat, only to drop it down in shock by the sight of a nervous Heatblast standing in front of a huge forest fire as his jaws dropped in shock/horror. "WHAT DID YOU DO!? WHAT HAPPENED?!"

"I'M SORRY! I WAS JUST TRYING TO MAKE A CAMPFIRE!"

"You're never going to live that down, are you?" Heatblast asked deadpannedly as Crashhopper gave her a 'What do you think?' look.

"Stop talking already and fuck them up!" Polly screamed while pointing at the recovering Mushroom Minions as Sprig turned to her in shock.

"Polly!"

"What? It was Anne's fault! She taught me the word!" Polly stated accusingly as Heatblast turned to glare at her.

"You traitor!"

"Guys, can we stop joking around already and deal with the bad guys before our watches time out?" An exasperated Crashhopper asked as the group nodded sheepishly just as the Mushroom Minions stood up from the floor as they charged at our heroes and the Omnitrix Wielders shared a confident smirk as they ran/jumped over to face their new opponents.

Smirking cockily, Heatblast lifted up her arms as she grunted and fired two big streams of hot flames that propelled her into the air as the transformed teen twirled around before crash landing into the ground, right in the middle of a crowd of the Mushrooms Minions as Heatblast slams her hands down into the floor and, before the sinister living mushrooms could react, Anne had heated up the floor so much that fire burst out of the ground as they covered the Mushroom Minions and burned at least eight of them down to a crisp as Heatblast grins at this victoriously, not seeing anything wrong with killing these monsters since they are not technically considered to be alive in a real sense. Crashhopper lets out an excited yell as he flew through the air before crashing down onto a Mushroom Minion, easily crushing it down in size with the force of his landing as he repeated the same step over and over again with six other Mushroom Minions only to have his legs grabbed by two of these accursed magical creatures as they slammed him into the floor with a loud thud.

Not injured by their attack whatsoever due to his tough exoskeleton, a smirking Crashhopper twirled around and swept off the two Mushrooms off their feet before doing a handstand as Crashhopper twirled around and kicked them away so hard that they flew towards the forest and disappeared from sight as Crashhopper leaped back onto his feet just three Mushrooms Minions appeared as they threw multiple punches and kicks at him, all of which Dereck dodged with ease thanks to his alien form's enhanced reflexes as he lets out a loud cricket-like noise and jumps up into the air. Watching him go, the Mushroom Villains leaped up after him, showing off that they had amazing abilities to jump as well as Crashhopper landed onto a tree branch with the three Mushroom Villains appearing on nearby individual tree branches with two more Mushroom Minions showing up to assist them as they all glared at the transformed boy threateningly.

With Heatblast, we see the young Pyronite standing in front of a ring of fire as she looks around and realized that eight Mushroom Minions were surrounding her with sticks as they were itching to attack her but were hesitant due to the ring of fire surrounding Anne as the transformed teen grinned at this cockily and raised her arms as she conjured a pair of small fireballs and began throwing multiple fireballs at her enemies as Heatblast had managed to strike about four Mushroom Minions. The ones that had managed to dodge her attack fell on the floor as they rolled around before standing up as they glared at Heatblast and struggled to find a way to attack the fire-based alien without hurting themselves as their eyes widen at the sight of the muddy ground below them and grinned as the four remaining Mushrooms Minions started scooping up a bunch of mud and shaped them into balls as they began hurling them at the Pyronite, causing her to yelp in pain as the balls of mud collided against her ring of fire and body as they continued pelting her at a rapid speed and they eventually extinguished her flames as Heatblast was covered in a pile of mud.

Giving each other victorious looks, the living mushrooms walked over to the pile of mud to make sure that their foe was truly defeated, but once they started approaching it, they felt the air around them get hotter as the confused Mushroom Minions looked around in bewilderment as one of them suddenly gasped and pointed at the mud pile that started bubbling with heat as it slowly glows red/orange and, before they could react, a roaring Heatblast burst out of the mud pile as Anne glared at the shocked and scared Mushroom Minions furiously as her already ablaze hair flickered wildly with her emotions as Heatblast reared back her head and roared a huge torrent of fire from out of her mouth as it collided against the living mushrooms and covered their bodies with flames as they screamed panickdedly and flailed around a bit before eventually burning up into ashes as Anne stopped firing fire out of her mouth and smirks in satisfaction as she dusts off her hands.

The five remaining Mushroom Villains all hissed at Crashhopper angrily as two of them jumped over to stand on the tree branch that Dereck was standing on and ripped out a couple of nearby tree branches to use as makeshift weapons as they twirled them around before pointing at Crashhopper threateningly as they charged at the young alien and swung their weapons as they were aiming to hit Dereck's head and large legs. Not looking scared by this whatsoever, Crashhopper crouches down and leaped up into the air, all the while letting out a loud cricket-like sound, as the duo Mushroom Villains missed their opponent and watched in disbelief as Crashhopper bounces off from a tree branch before doing the same with the next one as, soon enough, Dereck could be seen bouncing across the large tree like a ball in a ping pong machine and quickly began taking out the other Mushroom Minions by kicking them out of the tree, launching through their bodies as if they were made of paper, or simply using his powerful legs to deliver a kick so hard that it ripped their bodies in half. Scared by this, the duo Mushroom Villains flinched as Crashhopper landed in between them and cooly stood up as he raised his arm and did a 'Come and get me gesture' as their nervous demeanors were replaced with a more angry one as they let out a battle cry and charged at the transformed alien as they swung at him at the same time, which caused Crashhopper to smirk slyly as he jumped up high into the air just as their wooden weapons flew right past him harmlessly as the living mushrooms accidentally hit themselves and caused them fell down from the tree.

Surprised and outraged that the Omnitrix Wielders defeated his minions so easily, the Cursed Doomed Tree roared as he used his magic to create thirty more Mushroom Minions and ordered them to defeat the intruders invading his home as his army of living mushrooms did as he ordered and charged over to confront Anne and Dereck. Landing beside his best friend, both Crashhopper and Heatblast shared a look as they had a silent conversation for a bit before nodding as they had come to a conclusion that it was better to defeat the Mushroom Villains together than separate, and the teenagers were quick to get to work as Crashhopper jumped up into the air before slamming his feet into the ground as several huge pieces of rocks shot out from the ground and Heatblast was quick to set them on fire by firing a stream of hot fire at them as Crashhopper then leaped up again and began kicking them over to the horde of charging villains as the flaming rocks flew through the air and ended up striking down and killing about five Mushroom Minions. The Omnitrix Wielders continued repeating the same process over and over again until they managed to kill ten more of the Doom Tree's minions as the surviving crowd of Mushroom Minions approached to attack them.

Jumping away to avoid the minions' attack, both Crashopper and Heatblast landed onto the floor as Anne gave her friend a look, and he nodded as Crashhopper leaped up to stick himself onto a tree just as Heatblast's body flared up with extremely powerful flames as she raised her hands and fired a big stream of hot fire into the ground as it travels towards the remaining fifteen shocked Mushroom Villains and, before they could react, the floor under them melted into lava as they sink into the floor and it hardened as their lower halves were trapped in the ground. Unable to free themselves, the Mushroom Villains could only watch with worry/fear as Crashopper jumped down from the tree and started bouncing on top of the living mushrooms' heads like a certain fat plumber does with talking turtles as Dereck squished every single Mushroom Minion down to a mushy mushroom paste.

Now truly getting angry at how powerful the Omnitrix Wielders were, the Cursed Doom Tree decided that he had enough as he grunted and roared as he ripped himself out of the ground and grew out long humanoid leg-shaped tree branches as he stood up to his full height and Anne and Dereck looked up at the extremely huge cursed tree in stunned shock as it glares down at them and stoically raised his arms as he not only summoned thirty more Mushroom Minions to deal with Anne and Dereck but also manipulated twenty nearby trees to spring to life and rip themselves out of the ground as they magically gained humanoid forms but they didn't have any faces as they all crowded around the now nervous Omnitrix Wielders. Sharing an anxious look, Heatblast and Crashhopper composed themselves enough to glare at their enemies as Dereck leaped up to deal with the bigger threat while Anne stayed behind to deal with the Doomed Tree's minions as Crashhopper jumped high enough to reach the Doomed Tree's face and the cursed tree glared at him as he lifts up his arm to try and strike him.

Seeing this, Heatblast raised her arm and fired a large fireball into the air as it narrowly strikes against the Doomed Tree's hand, causing it to real back a bit as Crashhopper landed on his outstretched hand before leaping up as Dereck flew over and use his powerful legs to deliver a swift kangaroo double kick at the cursed tree's face, sending it flying back a bit as a mid-air Crashopper gave Heatblast a thumbs up, and Anne nodded to him with a grin before yelping as she noticed all of the Doomed Tree's Minions charging over to attack her. Composing herself, Heatblast conjured a big fireball in her hands as she leaped up into the air and threw it towards the group of charging villains as it crashed landed into the ground and caused a big explosion to occur as it blew up five Mushroom Villains and six Monster Trees into millions of pieces as the surviving minions continued charging at her just as Anne landed onto the floor as she lifted up her arms and created two long whips made out of fire as Heatblast began whipping at the monstrous minions away to keep them at bay...heh, rhymed.

Flinching and backing away from the elemental whips, the monstrous villains glared at the young and smirking Pyronite as three reckless Monster Trees charged over to attack her, only to be wrapped around by Heatblast's fire whips as she set them on fire and burned them down to ashes as Anne then threw her hips at the crowd of minions and fired a large overhanded arc of flames that make them shrink back in fear before a smirking Heatblast suddenly whirled around to jump into the air as she then slammed her foot into the floor, and the ground below her heated up immensely as multiple geysers shot out, spitting out gallons full of magma as it raced towards the group of Minions and managed to cover at least twenty Mushroom Villains and ten Monster Trees in hot magma as they were all shortly burned to death.

With Dereck, we see the transformed teen still falling through the air as he landed on top of a tree before shortly jumping away as the Doom Tree tries to slam his giant arms down at him but misses as the cursed tree roared in outrage and continued trying to swat the alien bug to mush like a...well...a bug as Crashhopper easily dodged the giant tree's attacks by bouncing across the meadow of trees. After a while of playing cat and mouse, Crashhopper decided that he was tired of playing defense and quickly went on the offense as he did one more leap onto another tree before swiftly jumping up high into the air with a loud cricket-like noise as the Doom Tree watched in surprise at the sight of the bug-like alien sailing past his face and landing on top of his head as Crashhopper sees the tree branch that Anne and Sprig tried to rip out earlier as Dereck narrowed his eyes in concentration and tries to reach for it, only for the Doom Tree to realize what he was doing and roared in rage as he lifts up his hand to swat Crashopper away and sends the transformed alien crashing down into the ground so hard that a small crater formed around him as Dereck groans and sits up from the floor as he rubs his head.

"Ha, ha, this is so cool!" Polly gushed with an awed expression on her face as she absolutely loved seeing her Human Guests fight against an army of evil magical creatures while Sprig, however, looks worried as he hums.

"It is, but that Doom Tree is spawning too many monsters at once. If this keeps up, Anne and Dereck will soon be forced to time out, and we will have a whole army of monsters on our butts." A nervous Sprig says before perking up as he spotted the tree branch that he and Anne were trying to get earlier as Sprig narrowed his eyes and gasps as an idea popped into his head. "Wait a minute, of course! The Doom Tree is the reason those monsters are alive, right? Well, if Anne goes all Heatblast on that guy, it should destroy all of minions as well!"

"Yeah, that sounds like a good plan, bro, except for the fact that we need one of his branches to replace Hop Pop's cane, remember?" Polly asked rhetorically with a raised eyebrow as the Poisonous Frog grins slyly.

"Which is why we're going to fetch the tree branch while Anne and Dereck are distracting the monsters." Sprig says as Polly says before grinning back as she giggled and nodded as she hopped onto her brother's back and held on tight as Sprig began climbing out of the tree that they were hiding in before making his way to the top as the young Frog eyed the giant tree with a determined look on his face as Sprig then opened up his mouth and shot out his tongue as it flew through the air before latching itself onto one of the Doom Tree's small branches as Sprig pulled himself and Polly up into the air.

"Ugh, you know for a tree, he sure does hit hard." Crashhopper commented while rubbing his head as he looked up and gasped as he saw his froggy friends flinging themselves up into the air before landing on the Doom Tree as Sprig started scaling up it with Polly holding onto him fiercely as Dereck raises an eyebrow. "What the heck are those crazy kids trying to do?" Crashhopper says to himself confusedly before his eyes widen briefly in realization as Dereck noticed that they were making their way towards the tree branch that they wanted to use and smirks as Crashhopper decided to try and help them out by distracting the Doom Tree as he leaped back onto his feet. "Hey, twig face! Try to hit me again if you can!" Crashhopper yelled mockingly while blowing a raspberry at him as the Doom Tree grows angry and tries to stomp him, only for Crashhopper to easily leap back to safety with a laugh as he continued bouncing around the area to piss off the Doom Tree long enough for Sprig and Polly to do their thing.

"How much further until we're there?" Polly asked impatiently.

"Almost there, baby sister." A sweating Sprig stated in irritation/tiredness as he had spent the next five minutes climbing up the ridiculous tall tree at a fast-paced before arriving at the top of the Doom Tree's head as he beamed at the sight of a familiar tree branch. "There it is!" Sprig yelled as he quickly rushed over to the tree branch and grabbed onto it as the young Frog then turned his head to look at Polly. "Quick, help me rip this thing out!"

"Oh, sure, ask your little baby sister to help you out on manual labor." Polly stated sarcastically as Sprig gave her a dull, annoyed look.

"Just help me out already." Sprig says as Polly sighed but nodded as she leaped out of her brother's back and made her way to the other side of the tree branch as Polly reached out and grabbed onto it with her fingerless hands as the Plantar Siblings grunted and used their combined strength to rip the tree branch out of the cursed tree's head, causing Doom Tree to wail in pain as he looks up and saw a pair of nervous Sprig and Polly standing on his head as he snarled angrily and reaches up to squash them like a couple of bugs.

"Oh, no you don't!" A glaring Crashhopper stated as he crouched down and jumped up from the ground so hard that the ground below him cracked, and a big green shockwave rang out as Crashhopper flew through the air with the speed of a missile and quickly reaches the Doom Tree's head as he snatches the Plantar Siblings into his grasp just as the cursed tree slammed his hand into his head as Dereck turned his head slightly to look down at Heatblast, who was still fighting against the remaining minions left alive as she punched and kicked streams of hot flames at them. "Heatblast! We have what we wanted! Quick! Bring the heat on this guy so that we can end this!"

"Really!?" Heatblast asked gleefully, happy to finally burn something as she then narrowed her eyes seriously and took a small battle stance as she crouches down and hums in concentration as Anne's body flares up and began gathering more heat as the surviving Mushroom Minions and Monster Tree's flinched as the air around them grew hotter, and soon all of the trees around them went up in flames, including the magical ones as Heatblast suddenly opens up her eyes and raises her hands as she fired dual huge streams of fire that swiftly propelled her into the air and also burned the screaming Mushroom Minions down into a gooey mushroom-based puddle.

"We got to go, guys!" Crashhopper stated anxiously, knowing what was going to happen as Dereck landed on top of a tree while still holding onto Sprig and Polly as he quickly started bouncing away to a more safe distance.

"I always wanted to do this!" Heatblast exclaimed excitedly while hovering in mid-air as she was floating above the Doom Tree, who glances up at her nervously/warily as he watched Anne cup her hands, and a small star-shaped flame appeared as Heatblast grunted and started powering up the small flame as the star-shaped flame growing bigger. "KA...ME...HA...ME..." Heatblast mumbled under her breath as she continued amplifying the small flame with the fire that is being produced out of her pyrokinetic core as the star-shaped flame continued growing bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger until it was big enough to nearly be the size of Heatblast's body as Anne glared down at the Doomed Tree with a big grin on her face. "...HA!" Heatblast shouted into the heavens as she thrust out her hands and fired a mega-sized stream of extremely hot flames down at the Doom Tree and it covered his whole body with red/orange fire as the magical tree screamed in pain and flailed around as he tried in vain to put out the fire in his body, but with no water in sight, it was all a hopeless effort as the Doom Tree lets out one more angry, painful scream before being slowly burned into ashes as the Doom Tree was no more!

"That was awesome, Anne!" Sprig and Polly cheered while still in Dereck's arms as Crashhopper, after making sure that it was safe to come back, leaped back into the now burnt meadow and landed beside Heatblast as Dereck gave his best friend a surprised look.

"Was that a Dragon Ball Move that you just used?"

"Yep." Anne stated proudly while placing her hands on her hips as Crashhopper raised an eyebrow at her.

"Since when did you watch Anime?"

"Oh, Marcy and Ashashi got me into it."

"Huh, Anne watches Anime like I do...my love for this girl has grown immensely," Crashhopper thought to himself with a little dark green blush on his face as Sprig sees this and grins mischievously as he chuckled.

"Hey, Dereck? Remember how you were holding Anne earlier when we were running away from the cursed Tree's minions?" Sprig suddenly asked as Polly, and the Omnitrix Wielders turned over to him confusedly.

"Yeah, why?"

"Heh, I thought Anne wasn't your girlfriend. Is she your bride now?" Sprig says jokingly, referring to the time that Dereck was carrying around Anne bridal style as the Omnitrix Wielders blushed massively with Heatblast's body heating up a bit as they glared down at Sprig.

"SPRIG!" Anne and Dereck yelled angrily as Sprig smirks slyly while Polly giggled.

Two hours later, after making their way back to Wartwood Swamp and briefly taking a detour to Loggle's Shop so that he can shape the tree branch that they had acquired from the Doom Tree to resemble more like Hop Pop's cane, we see the group making their back to the Plantar Home as they opened the door and walked inside with Anne holding onto Hop Pop's new cane as they were about to place it in the cane holder and sneak away, but stopped as the door to Hop Pop's room opened up, and the old Frog walked out as he yawned loudly and scratched his back as he smiled cheerfully.

"Whoa, boy. I needed that. Hope nothing happened while I was asleep to make me mad again." Hop Pop says before deadpanning as he saw his Grandchildren and Human Guests standing in front of him with a nervous Anne holding onto his cane as Hop Pop sighs heavily and rubbed his temples. "Oh, great. What did you do? And, Anne, why are you holding onto my cane?"

"O-Oh, uh, well, you see, while we were hanging around, Sprig and Polly told us about your favorite cane, and we saw that it looked old and a little broken, so Anne here suggested that we take it to a Woodsmith to get it fixed," Dereck lied smoothly as Hop Pop raised an eyebrow suspiciously.

"Really? Is that true?" Hop Pop asked Anne, who froze up as she sweated nervously and smiled at him awkwardly as she nodded. "...well, that's rather nice of you, Anne." Hop Pop says with a rather warm, happy smile on his face as he walked over to grab the cane out of a trembling Anne's hands and inspected it as he hums in satisfaction. "Heh, wow, this cane looks practically brand new!"

"Oh, you have no idea." Polly says before being smacked in the head by Sprig and Dereck as she rubs her head and glared up at the boys in irritation.

"Well, anyway, Anne? I want to say thanks for getting this old cane fixed up a bit. I was fixing on doing it anyway, so I appreciate you doing this for me. You're a really nice House Guest, after all. I'm glad that you took my words to heart and are shaping yourself up a bit. Keep up the good work, kid." Hop Pop says while patting Anne's arm fondly as the young teenage girl, however, felt like her heart was being stabbed by a knife over and over again as she felt incredibly guilty for having her friends lie for her, breaking the cane in the first place, and for having Hop Pop praise her for being a 'great' houseguest as Anne gritted her teeth and trembled as she pulled on her hair in frustration.

"Aaaaaahhhhh! I can't take it! The guilt is killing me!" Anne shouted while dropping down to her knees as she looked up to give a startled, confused Hop Pop a regretful look. "Hop Pop, I'm sorry, but I had Dereck lie for me because I was too nervous to lie to your face. I didn't take your cane to have it fixed by Loggle. The truth is that I-I was goofing around with your cane as Upchuck and...I accidentally ate it!"

"You what?!" Hop Pop asked in shock as Anne nodded with a rather guilty look on her face.

"Yeah, and when I figured out what just happened, I tried to spit out the cane, but it was already got covered by my stomach acid and melt down into a puddle. After that, I practically begged everyone to help me get you a new cane, which was not easy at all because it took us defeating a giant cursed tree and his minions of evil mushrooms to get you your new cane." Anne says as Hop Pop continued staring at her in stunned shock, and Anne grew sad by this as she hangs her head low, thinking that Hop Pop was so mad at her that he couldn't form words as Anne stood up from the floor and began solemnly making her way towards the exit. "I know, I know, Hop Pop. Your silence says it all. I messed up badly. You don't have to kick me out. I'll do it myself." A remorseful Anne says while grabbing onto her school bag as Sprig, and even Polly ran/jumped over to hug her.

"We'll come to visit you, Anne. We promise/And just when I was starting to like you!" A crying Sprig and Polly stated in unison as Anne sniffled and teared up a bit as she hugged them back.

"Please, don't make this harder than it is."

"Anne, please, be reasonable. You can't go out there alone. It's too dangerous, even with the Omnitrix. At least let me come with you so that I can help protect you." Dereck says while walking over to the trio as Anne raised her head to him and shakes her head somberly.

"No, Dereck, I don't want you to be forced to sleep in a cave with me because of me. It's my mistake. I was the one who screwed up, so I have to face the consequences."

"I don't care! You're my friend, and I won't allow you to go out there on your own!" Dereck yelled fiercely as Anne simply shakes her head.

"I'm sorry, Dereck, but this how things have to be." Anne says sadly as Dereck glared at her angrily and tightened his fists as he growled in frustration with tears running down his eyes.

"You stupid, reckless, stubborn-," Dereck says before breaking down as he joined the hug, and Sprig and Polly began crying as Dereck started doing the same, and Anne, who was trying to stay strong, eventually broke down as she sobs.

"I love you guys! Thanks for trying to help me out there with Hop Pop's cane! I'm going to miss you all so much!"

"We will miss you too, Anne!" Dereck, Sprig, and Poly cried out as the kids continued sobbing, much to Hop Pop's discomfort as his eyes darted around awkwardly.

"What the...what's going on, kids? Why are you all crying?"

"Because you're throwing me out. You know, like you said you would." Anne says with a sniffle as Hop Pop raised an eyebrow at this before smiling warmly as he chuckles and shakes his head.

"Oh, Anne, I'm not kicking you out."

"What!?" Everyone asked in shock/surprise as Hop Pop nodded.

"Yeah, I mean, sure, you accidentally ate my cane and burned it down to a puddle and, while that does infuriate me, I'm at least grateful that you went out of your way and worked your butt off to get me a new cane. It shows that you feel remorse for your actions...you do feel guilty for destroying my original cane, right?"

"Yes, I am. Very." A serious and guilty Anne stated as Hop Pop smiles lightly and nodded.

"Well, then I forgive you for destroying my cane, and you can continue living here with your boyfriend and us."

"Dereck is not my boyfriend, but yay! Anne Boonchuy is not moving out! Whoo!" Anne cheered while dropping her backpack as Sprig and Polly cheered while Dereck places his hand on Anne's shoulders as the teenage best friends shared a relieved, happy smile.

"He, he, yeah...oh, and Anne? Truth be told, I was never gonna throw you out. I was just talking tough so that you'd show me a little bit more respect."

"Wow, that's kinda messed up, man, but I'm not mad. I do kind of deserve it for acting like a spoiled bitch to you for these past few days. Sorry about that." Anne apologizes as Hop Pop waves it off carelessly with a small laugh.

"Heh, heh, heh, it's alright. Besides, I probably was a little bit too harsh on you, but I only did it because you remind me of myself when I was your age. Rough around the edges."

"Maybe, but still, I feel bad for causing you so much stress and trouble. I just want to say that I'm sorry for giving you a hard time, old man. You were kind enough to allow me and Dereck to stay here until we figure out a way to come back home, and here I am insulting you and belittling you as if you were nothing. So, Hop Pop, I once again want to say that I'm sorry for everything that I've done to you, and I promise that I will try to be more respectful to you." Anne apologized somberly as Hop Pop blinked before smiling warmly as he nodded.

"Apolgy accepted, Anne. Anway, now that that's settled, I wrote a long list of comebacks to get you back for this morning." Hop Pop says while pulling out said list as he clears his throat. "Hey, Anne, is that your hair, or is it a dandelion?"

"..."

"Ha...uh-Oh! Are those long, lanky limbs, Anne, or are those, uh, twigs? Ah! He, he,"

"..."

"Eh...hey, Anne, your uglier than your aliens! And that's saying something! Ha, ha,"

"..."

"..."

"...The moment has passed, hasn't it?" Hop Pop asked awkwardly as the Omnitrix Wielders, and the Plantar Siblings nodded stoically as Hop Pop sighs in disappointment and ripped up his list as he stalks off.
