Dying was strange…
There was no truck-kun to take we into its violent embrace…no mysterious illness that gripped me and held sway over my life until I valiantly lost the fight…no bright energy or light coming to whisk me away.
In fact, my death came while I was asleep.
Looking around, all I see is an endless galaxy stretched out around me. Countless twinkling stars and fluorescent gas nebulae painting a beautiful sight, beyond the ability of any painter or photographer.
Its beauty leaves me speechless, which was the perfect opportunity for something strange to happen.

"HOLY SHIT!" I yell out, my voice echoing out into the distant galaxy.
Anyone who read as much fanfiction stories as I had, knew about the Gamer System. An all-powerful system that allows those chosen to become literal GODS and experience the infinite number of universes found in movies, books, anime, etc…
And now I was being chosen? Oh, fuck YES!

Due to previous issues regarding veteran Players interfering with new Players, the System has been changed.
Each Player now has their own separate System that cannot be entered, or interfered with, by another Player.
Okay, yeah…That makes sense.
Some of the stories I read had lots of crazy stuff happen as a result of Players messing around with weaker Players.
Last thing I want is some all-powerful dick messing with my experience, just for shits-and-giggles.

So that just leaves Death Gods, OP Ninjas, and Dragon Gods…only one of those has ecchi scenes and naked anime titties.

A blank body appears before me, with something akin to most of the character creation choices and sliders that you see in role-playing games.
First choice I made? Making the body male.
No way in hell am I going to enter an ecchi Universe as a woman. Not to mention I was a guy before I died, and I'm not about to lose my dick.
Surprisingly, the System never gave me some kind of time limit. Which worked perfectly for me, as I was busy fiddling around with every option it had. I tried out several different looks before settling on the one I wanted.
First, I gave my new body short white hair.
I always liked the look of it; and after being a brunet in my previous life, I was ready for something more unique. Adding some blue eyes from my previous body, I'm now finished with the head.
Next? Made myself taller than average.
Nothing crazy, but a good 5'10, seeing as the body looked to be around 17 and will likely keep growing. The musculature on the body couldn't be changed, but that's not the worst. With all of the fighting and training I'll need to do; I should be ripped soon enough.
I almost giggled at the penis size changer. Adding a few inches to the body, it was now a solid 8-inches.
Some people might have gone for, what is known as, the 'Bitch-Breaker'. But those people don't know that larger sizes are nowhere near as fun as it seems.
Try having sex with a short girl and you can't even pop the head in.
The Universe I'm about to enter may be ecchi, but even that has to have some limits. And I'm not about to take the chance and risk destroying a girl, just because I want a third leg.
Worst comes to worst, I figure out some sex magic and change its size.

I don't know why, but I expected something other than waking up in bed…maybe too much time play Skyrim. 'Ooooh, I can't wait to unlock Skyrim.'
Groaning, I roll out of bed and look around at the new place I'm in.
It's a massive bedroom; with a huge bed, a large window looking out into a bamboo forest, and three doorways.
Walking over to the window, I see nothing but bamboo trees surrounding the outer walls around the house. 'So I'm not in the city…damn. Now I'm gonna have to walk who knows how long just to get food.'
The view itself is stunning. Looking down at the backyard of the property, there's a beautiful, traditional Japanese Zen Garden with a small stream of water running through it.
Turning away from the window, I try one of the doors. Inside is a large Japanese style bathroom. 'Nice!'
There was something about Japanese bathrooms that I always liked better than the American style.
Looking in the mirror at myself, I shouldn't be surprised that I look exactly like the character I created, but I am. It's jarring going from looking a certain way your whole like, to looking like somebody else entirely.
Glancing at my clothes, I'm clad in a simple white t-shirt and boxers; which had me concerned that I would have to walk around in this until I leveled up and purchased new clothing.
Worried, I step out of the bathroom and quickly checked the other two doors. One led out of the bedroom, while the other opened up into a massive walk-in closet.
To my immediate relief, there are several sets of what look to be a school uniform, a single pair of blue jeans, and a black backpack.
Leaving the uniforms and backpack for now, I pull on the blue jeans over my white boxers. 'I really need to get more clothes. I am not doing the cliché school uniform look every day.'
Satisfied that I'm at least somewhat presentable, my thoughts are interrupted as my first quest appears.

Looking around, I notice a small note on top of a black journal that's now resting on the bed. 'That wasn't there before…right?'
Reading over the note, it's a fairly short message.

But every time I try to touch it, my hands pass through as if it's not there.
It takes me longer than I'm proud to admit, to figure out how to close the Menu. I just had to think about closing it, and the textbox went away.
Useful, but I wish I hadn't looked like an idiot trying to tell it to close while waving my hands over it.
'Deep breaths, Sora.'
…I really need to get used to my new name. Otherwise, I'm gonna look like an idiot when someone calls it out and I don't pay attention.
Glancing down at the journal, I give my new ability a try. "[Observe]."

Not exactly an essay, but it gives me some idea of what's in it. There's a long list inside, with an explanation on how leveling works in this Universe.
Leveling is Restricted by Race:
Human: Level 1 - 100
Sacred Gear User: Level 1 - 500

Fallen: Level 1 - 500
Devil: Level 1 - 500
Yōkai: Level 1 - 500
God: Level 100 - 900
Dragon: Level 1 - 999
Well shit…I'm glad I didn't go with Issei, my level would have been capped at 500.
But that also means, until I can figure out a way to change my race or get a Sacred Gear, I'm going to be stuck with a maximum level of 100. Before I can continue that thought, another textbox appears.

Leaving the room, I decide to explore the rest of the building.
It's a massive, two-story Japanese estate with an open courtyard in the front and a Zen Garden in the back. A large wall surrounds the perimeter of the grounds with a beautiful front gate being the only point of entry. Painted all over the walls is the Sakai Clan symbol that I remembered from the game, Ghost of Tsushima.
Rising up all around the outside of the walls, a massive bamboo forest blocks the house from being seen at a distance. Thankfully, there was a single dirt road leading from the gate to a main street that led towards a city in the distance.
In the sky, I can faintly spot a shimmer covering the entire estate, '[Observe]'

-Protects the Player's Home from outward intrusion, attacks, and unregistered teleportation.
That is going to be extremely useful. Not having to deal with people constantly teleporting into my home unannounced saves me from so many headaches.
Smiling, I walk back inside my new estate as two more textboxes appear.

It took me several minutes of searching the house to find the paperwork.
Sure enough, the System set it up for me to be a new, second-year transfer at Kuoh Academy.
You know, the place where everything happens and acts as the lynchpin that nearly causes a war between the Biblical Factions. The one under the control of two Devil Heiresses of the 72 Pillar Clans and filled with their peerages.
I get that the System is trying to get me involved in the main story, but still…
Sighing, I put on the uniform; a black blazer and pants, a white button-up shirt, and a…black ribbon for the collar? Why not a tie?
Grabbing the backpack in the closet with a few blank notebooks in it, I look around to see if there's anything that'll get me to school faster, like a bike or a car…
There's nothing.
'Better start walking I guess.'
It's a long, boring 20 minutes to make my way into town. I was fortunate that my paperwork to transfer into Kuoh Academy came with a map of the town, or else I'd have to stop and ask for directions every few minutes.
Reaching the outer gate to the school, I spot several students making their way inside while one of them stands waiting. As I get closer, I realize who it is. '[Observe]'
Sona Sitri - Level 53

Level 53, huh. According to the manual I have stashed in my [Inventory], a Devil reaches High-Class at Level 50.
But the Affection and Obedience is definitely interesting. Those are usually found in Gamer stories with sex and lewdness in them…

Also, the continued use of [Observe] seems to have leveled it up a bit.

"You must be Sora Sakai." Sona's stern voice calls out to me as I reach her. "I'm Souna Shitori, the Student Council President here at Kuoh Academy."
Putting a smile on my face, I stick my hand out to shake hers. "Nice to meet you."

Instead of shaking it, she glances at the outstretched hand before bowing slightly.
Right…in Japan they bow. That's gonna be hard to get used to.
And I failed my first check. Which I have to admit is a little disappointing, but I've just arrived in this new universe. Give me some time, and I'll get it right.
"Follow me. I will take you through a quick tour of the school, before showing you to your classroom." She continued, not bothering to wait for my response as she turns to walk into the building.
'Off to a great start, Sora.' Shrugging, I follow just a few steps behind as she directs me through the school.

The tour is quick, but professional. She shows me the pool, gym, cafeteria, the Student Council Office, and the Main Office. Eventually, the tour ends with her directing me to where my new classroom is.
It's nearly time for class to start when we arrive.
Before Sona can open the door, someone comes sprinting down the hall towards the same classroom.
It's a boy my age, with spiky brown hair that comes out at the neck like two tails, and a wrinkled uniform that's unbuttoned; showing off an even more wrinkled red shirt underneath.
'…This…is the future Red Dragon Emperor? Yikes.'
Issei's appearance clearly does him no favors with Sona, who's voice turns cold as she calls out. "You were nearly late, Hyoudou. And I see your uniform is out of order…fix it, or that will be a detention!" Glaring at him from behind her glasses, Issei cowers at the look.
"O-Of course!" Trying to flatten the wrinkles, he gives up the hopeless attempt in favor of scurrying into the classroom. His pale face glances back in our direction before reaching his seat.
Turning back to me, Sona adds, "You'll need to introduce yourself before the class begins. If you have any further questions, you can ask one of the Student Council members. Good day." Without waiting for my response, she turns around and walks away.
'That was rude.'
Groaning, I mentally prepare myself on having to go through school all over again. Walking to the front of the classroom, the teacher motions for me to speak.
"Hello…My name is Sora Sakai…"
- After School -
Thankfully, the class turned out to be very easy for me. Everything taught was on stuff that I had learned in my previous life, so there were no surprises or challenges on my first day.
The only noticeable thing that happened, was the drop in Affection from Issei and his two perverted friends for being a "pretty boy" after introducing myself. I nearly laughed out loud when Aika took one look at my crotch, blushed, and instantly gained 30 Affection.

She's not that bad looking girl either. She's one of those girls who if she's alone, she looks like a 6 or 7. But because this is an ecchi world, full of massive, gravity-defying breasts and gorgeous faces, she barely passes for a 4.
Gaining that much Affection right off the bat, just for my dick size, is helpful if I ever need someone to do something for me.
Nonetheless, I keep mostly to myself for the first day, not wanting to risk seeing how much the [Humanity] perk hides.

Looking through my skills, it's disheartening to see so few, when others in these situations gain powerful abilities right off the bat. I used to always enjoy games that had you start from nothing, and build your character up to becoming the strongest in the game's world.
Now I realize what a pain in the ass it is.
Heading to my bathroom to take a shower, I spend several minutes just standing under the hot spray, thinking over my plans for the future. As I am now, I'm dead if someone tries to attack me. It's only the [Humanity] passive that's keeping me alive and not a Devil's slave.
The real question is, do I want to get involved in one side of the Biblical Factions? Or do I make a play for one of the others, like the Yōkai or the Norse? All of them are limiting in how strong I can become…But, unless I figure out a way to become a Dragon or a God, there aren't many other options.
Continuing to ponder, a quest interrupts my thoughts as I leave the bathroom and head into the kitchen.

Rummaging through the fridge, my head slumps when I discover that its empty.
Groaning, I put on a spare uniform again and make my way back into town.

Slowly trudging the bags of food and clothes back to my house, I quickly put everything away before trying my hand at a meal.

If I'm going to reach the higher levels, I need all of the technicalities I can get.

After the first day, the rest of week seemed to drag on. With how slow my leveling is going right now, it took me the whole week just to reach Level 5.

Finally…sitting through all of those boring classes paid off.
I was able to level up my [Observe] some more, and even received a few minor quests to get my level up to 5. The fact that I've now lost my protection from supernatural senses leaves me deeply concerned about my future survival.

The [Lady Luck's Love] perk came through big time. I'm now the wielder of a Longinus, and an awesome one at that.
But wait, does this mean Vali is no longer the White Dragon Emperor?

Gacha Items once belonging to others will be rewritten to never having been in their possession.
That's a relief. But it's concerning that the System can just rewrite a person's reality instantly so I can have some loot.
Then again, it's the fucking Divine Dividing…"Status."

There it is, White Dragon Emperor. That is such a badass name.
Now to make sure I keep as far away from Issei as possible, so they don't try to call me the 'Butt Dragon Emperor' like they did with Vali.
Before Issei came along, people acknowledged the title of Red/White Dragon Emperor with respect and fear. I refuse to allow the White Dragon Emperor name to become a joke because of him. 'Sorry Ddraig, you're on your own.'
Looking over the new skill, it seems like I can only use [Divide] once every 10 seconds. It might not seem like much, but every time I divide their power, I get to absorb it and stay at my maximum without getting tired.
But what's the new perk mean?

-As a human gifted with a Sacred Gear, you have a certain presence that sets you apart.
-You are now noticeable to the senses of the supernatural.
I desperately need to figure out if the System has a Dungeon.

Fine, whatever. I'll just have to survive school long enough to get there before someone tries to "recruit" me into their peerage. *Cough* Rias *Cough*
Time to check out the Gacha Store.

What follows is a massive list of thousands of items, ranging from items in Movies, to Books, to other Anime…it was a lot to take in.
Everything on the list was outrageously expensive; you could buy an ingot of Vibranium for over 500,000,000¥. Unless I find some way of making a large amount of cash quick, or another form of payment, I'm going to be stuck with using the [Gacha Tokens] for now.
The only thing that stood out to me, was that there were no Health Potions or Magic Potions.

Potion Making was removed from the System after continued overuse by other Players.
That's true. Most stories have the Player making potion after potion and selling them to the other races for ridiculous amounts. Which means I'll need to be careful until I can find some healing magic.
Yawning loudly, I close the Gacha Store before making my way sluggishly to bed.
It's been a long day, and I need some sleep.
The school week starts tomorrow, and I need as much rest as I can get before dealing with that headache again.

I want to give my respects to TheDarkWolfShiro; his stories inspired me to not only get into writing, but to also create this series of stories.
The Reincarnation Game will follow the Player through multiple Universes. For those wondering, he will NOT be leaving the Universe until it is complete. Every new Universe will see him having to start over as someone new, and he'll have to work his way up each and every time. However, the more Universes he explores, the more gains he'll start off with every time.
If you're curious as to how any women he ends up with will work across multiple Universes…they won't be able to come with him unless he gets a Companion Card from the Gacha store that summons them to him.
But! When they are summoned, they'll remember everything from their time with him, and will keep the same levels and relationship status as they had in the other Universe.
