beacon1703jessiel; Thanks very much!

Saurian Mp4; Thanks very much! I'm glad that you're enjoying it! Yeah, Nebra's gonna have a good role to play and redeem how she treated Noelle in the main story. They'd be pretty cool, thanks for the suggestion!

ShadowUzumaki55; Thanks! Nebra can't yeah, she's got a thing for Venta, even if she tries to deny it to others. Venta did yeah, on Nebra's suggestion. He did his best to comfort Asta. Hmm, could be, Fana was there for a reason. He's able to stop him for a few moments it seems at least.

Secre best waifu; Nebra following them and doing that would be instantly funny. That could be a cool moment with Charlotte. Yeah, they at least know he has a Devil inside.

Fana is waifu; Yeah, it does seem she had a good reason for doing what she was doing. Haha, Fana doing that would be pretty funny. Karna would be cool for Yami, thanks for the suggestions.

Guest 5; Charmy surely is yeah~ I could see Charmy doing that.

Guest 6; That would be a fun moment with Secre. Yeah, I'd presume artifical bodies are basically like normal ones so have the same function, unless we're told otherwise that's how I viewed it.

Raidentensho; Thanks! Thanks for the suggestions! Glad you're enjoying it so far~

Valtryek sama; Yeah, that's how the vote went. Charlotte and Venta will have plenty of moments. Thanks for the suggestions. I haven't seen that anime.

Guest 7; Thanks very much!

Guest 8; Yeah, he very well could teach her that. That would be pretty epic with Noelle.

Guest 9; That would be pretty funny for Venta to ask Noelle that about Nozel.

Andrew123456; Yeah, that would be pretty cool if he could have that magic, thanks for the suggestion.

Guest 10; Haha yeah he could have that definitely~ Grey would be funny to do that.

Guest 11; Yeah, Yami could be the person to tell him to use it. Yeah, he could fight him.

Any of one; Thanks for the suggestion.

one pie1234; Thanks for the suggestion.

Guest 16; Thanks for the suggestion for Yami. Those would be pretty cool~ Thanks for the Magic suggestion!

StrikerTj; Thanks, I'm glad you're enjoying it so far!

Lightwave; Nebra did yeah, she must quite like him, even if he denies it. Yeah, he managed to convince Nebra to come, maybe this will be the start of her, and Noelle becoming closer. Mimosa definitely did yeah~ Thanks for the vote, and suggestions!

U; Thanks for the votes, and suggestions!

Guest 18; There's a poll at the end of the chapter to see about what Magic's would be best. Yeah, Charlotte could be.

Guest 19; Thanks for the vote.

With those reviews out of the way, it's time to start the chapter!

The Training Royals!

A few days after the events with the Grimoire ceremony, Venta and Mimosa went out together once more, as he began speaking about Magic and other sorts of things. However, Mimosa had brought up to what looked like ruins, and he could feel a certain girls Mana that was in the area, but he felt it going wild, and he was quite curious as to what Mimosa was thinking.

They also noticed that Kirsch was following them.

Trying his best to stick to the shadows, it was clear to the pair of them that they were being followed.

"So your cousin Noelle-san is here huh? Does she know we're coming?"

Mimosa showed a coy smile that Venta found rather cute if he was honest with himself.

"Well...I just thought it would be nice if we were able to spend time together. Noelle finds it hard making friends, and I thought since you didn't seem to be bothered by her defensive wall, it would be good if you did become friends. I also...I don't want to disrespect Noelle and speak about her problems...but, if she and you became friends, then she'd tell you."

Venta could understand the place Mimosa was in.

She desperately wished to help her cousin.

But she didn't want to betray the trust that Noelle had in Mimosa to not speak about what was currently going on with her.

Venta could definitely see that she was torn, so he placed a hand on Mimosa's head.

"Of course, that sounds like a great idea!"

Immense relief came towards Mimosa as they continued on.

Once getting to the place Noelle was, Venta saw Noelle firing off magic spheres of water.

However, they weren't going to the intended target.

They seemingly went off in random directions.

Ones that clearly weren't the way that Noelle wished for them to go in.

"Hmmmm..."

Venta hummed, Mimosa turned towards him.

"Something on your mind?"

Venta didn't answer for a few moments, merely watching Noelle firing off her water spheres, and wondered what was truly going on.

It felt a bit more than what he was seeing before his eyes.

"I was just thinking about what was going on before us. Noelle-sans got incredible Mana, I can feel it from here. So it isn't like she lacks that..."

"Have you seen something like this before Venta-san?"

Venta mused within his mind for a few moments, as he saw Noelle fire off another water sphere.

"I've seen some people have difficulty in using some spells and controlling them. But this seems to be like she isn't able to control her Mana very well."

"Yes...I don't really understand why that is the case, Noelle's just never been able to control it. Even though she tries so hard..."

Venta reaches out his hand, and places a hand on top of her head, causing her to blush ever so slightly.

"Don't worry about it, I'll do my best to think of why she's unable to control it like this and offer what help I can."

Mimosa smiled thankfully.

Venta continued watching as Kirsch came to the right hand side of them, hiding within a bush.

His eyes glanced between Venta and Mimosa.

The former seemed to be rather relaxed, but Mimosa...

He could see the blush that still remained on her cheeks.

Conclusions began to form within the young man's mind.

"M-Mimosa's so close to the heinous Black Bull! And his hand is touching her head! W-What in the hell?! Why is he doing that?!"

Kirsch mentally was freaking out.

However, that stopped when suddenly, due to being distracted, one of Noelle's water spheres shot Kirsch's way, smashing hard into his face, and sent him flying down to the ground.

Venta cracked a smile when he saw that.

Mimosa held a small smile on her own face, trying to not laugh as she heard "My beautiful face got soaked!" while Noelle looked towards them.

When she saw Venta, her eyebrows furrowed.

"W-What are you doing here?"

Venta showed a slight smile.

"Hey there, Mimosa-san and I were out together, and she suggested we came this way. We aren't interrupting your, training right?"

Noelle didn't know what to say.

She felt embarrassed as royalty that she'd have to train in the first place, and what was more that she wasn't getting anywhere that she wished to be in either.

However, Venta continued to smile when Noelle didn't answer.

"You have really strong Mana, I can feel it from here."

Noelle paused.

He...wasn't being mean to her, she expected it as that's how she had grown up to expect, but he wasn't.

If anything, it felt like praise to her.

"W-Well, I am royalty so it is to be expected."

Noelle was flippant as she waved a hand through her hair.

Though on the inside she felt some happiness to receive such a praise.

Yet at the same time she wasn't fully sure why she felt like that in the first place.

Shaking her head, she watched as Venta moved closer.

"So, those water spheres..."

"Merely firing them off, that's all. Making sure they can go in many directions."

It was clearly a lie.

Venta definitely could see through it.

"I see. Still, I thought it was really funny when it hit Kirsch-san~"

Kirsch shot up from his hiding place.

"How did you know I was here?!"

Venta resisted the urge to sigh, but Mimosa openly did.

"You're bad at hiding big brother."

Like a shot to the heart, Kirsch placed a hand over his own.

"W-What are you saying?! Are you worried about the water ruining my beauty too?!"

Mimosa trembled with annoyance, something Venta always found funny when seeing the siblings act like this.

"Big brother...could you leave now?"

"E-Eh? But what if..."

"No, please leave."

"Mimosa..."

"I insist."

"My beauty is..."

"Big brother...leave."

Venta and Noelle watched as the pair had a stare off together.

Eventually though, Kirsch threw his head back, and shook his fist at Venta.

"I will be back!"

"Okay then."

Kirsch felt another shot to the heart.

He was surprised that Venta didn't show any worry when Kirsch tried to sound as menacing as possible.

He then ran off as Mimosa placed a hand on her forehead.

"Seriously, I'm so sorry about that Venta-san."

"Haha, don't worry about it~"

Noelle watched.

It was still so odd to her that she was witnessing what basically was a royal and in her eyes, most likely a peasant, conversing as if it was just a natural thing in the world.

She really didn't get it.

But deep down, she kind of liked it.

Later on that day, Venta was choosing this time to have a small relaxation time and casually explore a dungeon that really usually wouldn't cause much trouble for him.

Or rather, he thought he'd finally be able to relax, when on a mission, together with Vanessa, exploring the dungeon, they suddenly were attacked.

"Geez, these guys don't quit."

Vanessa began as she dodged a magical ice shard shot at her.

Venta moved to intercept the icicle, creating a repelling field, forcing the shot out icicle to bounce right back and slice across the man's midriff before Venta appeared before him, and slammed his open palm into the side of the man's head, dropping him down to the ground completely unconscious at the same time he kicked behind him, delivering a well timed strike to a Mage that tried to attack with some Steel Magic, the force of the kick was more than enough to break through the steel like armour he had placed around himself, and send him flying high up into the air.

"Ruining my time with Ven-kun, huh."

Vanessa didn't sound pleased as she moved her fingers, allowing her thread magic to come out, wrapping around the two men Venta defeated, to make sure they didn't cause anymore problems.

"They tell me to not cause trouble with them, yet they attack me when I was on a different mission."

Venta sighed out.

He remembered what that girl had said when he was with Yuno and Asta back in the forsaken realm.

How that girl had said to not interfere with them.

And now it was clear that he didn't have a choice due to the fact that the enemy was targeting him.

As he sighed, a Mage with what seemed to be claws for hands came at him.

He presumed it was some type of Magic, so he began dodging out of the way of the swift moving claw strikes.

It wasn't enough to catch him, so he stomped on the ground, sending his Gravity below himself, and blew the ground up before him, sending heavy debris up into the face of the man, hitting him so hard that his entire body went flying up to the ceiling, slamming hard into it, before falling down to the ground, unconscious.

"Geez, this guy wont stop!"

One of the Mage's complained.

"Yeah, he's got that weird Magic!"

"How do we get through it?"

"Keep going!"

It was clear to Venta that more than anything, they had been sent after him once more.

Perhaps it was for more than merely trying to take him down.

As these Mage's didn't feel especially strong, and he could think that most Black Bulls would be able to take them down if they so desired to do so.

Gathering Gravity Magic around his fist, charging it up, Venta shot off high into the air, as he saw several Mage's gathering.

He counted over five, all aiming their Magic towards him, so he came down hard and heavy.

"Gravity Magic, Annihilation Fist!"

Slamming his fist deep into the earth, the ground uprooted and caused all of the Mage's to be blasted away from below them.

As they were blasted through the air, Vanessa moved her fingers in a very speedy manner, causing her threads to come out, wrap tightly around the enemies, and stop their advancements.

For missions like this, they really did have great teamwork and made quick work of those that had tried to attack them.

Venta being able to disable them, and Vanessa capture them with her threads.

Once finished with all of the Mage's, Vanessa stretched her arms to the right hand side, as she let out a small yawning sound.

"Aah, this is really troublesome. I'd much prefer to have a drink."

"Don't we all."

Venta commented with a small laugh escaping his throat, Vanessa grinned as she jabbed a finger towards him.

"Seems like someone's got it out for you. Who did you anger?"

"I have no clue, stopping evil people doing their wicked deeds probably is going to get me on some kind of hit list. I even had a warning from some girl that I should stop interfering. But even then, they still came after me."

Vanessa gives a cute smile as she moves closer and closer.

Her arms wrapped around his right arm, as she leans her head on his shoulder.

"Once this is over with, how about you and me, find a nice, hot, steamy bath..." Vanessa's mouth leaned closer to his ear, and lightly licked it, sending pleasure through his body as she did so. "...just the two of us."

Venta's eyes went towards the beautiful pink haired woman, seeing a sultry look on her face.

"Vanessa-san..."

Vanessa smiled in a semi sweet manner with a hint of mischievousness behind her sweet smile.

"Don't you want to? I know that I do~"

"Well, we could do..."

Vanessa clapped her hands together.

"Great, then lets get going~"

Vanessa happily wrapped her arm around his, and began dragging him away to the perplexity of the people tied up who soon were forced to follow as Venta's Magic lifted them off the ground.

A small time later, Venta and Vanessa were relaxing in the hot baths together. They were alone, and both had towels wrapped around them, though Vanessa's clung to her, and she didn't mind as she placed her head on his shoulder.

Snuggling against his shoulder, her lips curled upwards ever so slightly, enjoying the feeling of them being alone.

They didn't get to have many alone times.

But when she could get it, Vanessa grabbed it with both hands.

"Isn't this better than a mission? A nice hot bath, with a really cute boy...that's my day~"

"Yes it is really nice~"

Vanessa laughed to herself.

"Though Ven-kun, do you like having baths with me?"

Venta looked to see Vanessa's serene eyes were on his form.

Her sultry sweet look from before was back, but even more seductive than ever.

Nero, from Venta's hair, watched as Vanessa to emphasis her happiness, laid a small kiss on his cheek.

Nero's eyes sharpened as she saw Venta blushing ever so slightly.

"Yeah..."

Vanessa giggled to herself.

"That's good, I'm glad that we can have this kind of alone time together. More than that, since we're the only people here, we don't have to worry about anyone coming in and bothering us like Charmy and the guys are all away, so perfect for us here." Her soft hand placed itself on his bare chest, and ran up delicately. Nero didn't look pleased as she saw Vanessa laid another kiss on his cheek. "While we're here, almost anything could happen, you know?"

"Like...?"

His breath hitched in his throat as she allowed her ample chest to push against his body.

Vanessa giggled to herself.

"Well, I'm certainly up for anything, Ven-kun."

Her hot words, accompanied by the sensual tone that she used, and even the way that her hand finally found his jaw, and ran delicate circles across his face, her touch being something that caused his body to feel heat pooling inside.

She then smiled to herself as she took one of his hands and held it tightly.

Nero watched on, seeing Venta blushing more and more as Vanessa did her own thing, so she flew onto his shoulder, and glared.

"Geez...why are you glaring at me pretty bird?"

Vanessa asked, of course she didn't get an answer.

But the eyes filled with annoyance told Venta everything that was going on within Nero.

Just then, the door opened, revealing Yami stepping inside.

When seeing him, Vanessa let out a sigh.

"Captain, why are you here?"

"I'm going for a bath, why are you here? This is the guys side."

"I know that."

Vanessa felt like crying.

Her time had been ruined.

"So if you know, why give me grief about it?"

"All of the male members said they'd be gone until at least like tomorrow morning. so this was supposed to be my and Ven-kun's time together."

"Well, I finished early. Can't help that."

Vanessa released a breath, as Venta glanced at his Captain.

Yami looked back with intrigue.

Neither said anything as Vanessa got out of the bath, and said "I'll see you in bed Ven-kun." as she walked by her Captain.

Yami glanced at Venta, and then towards Vanessa, and cracked a smirk on his face.

"W-What's with the smirk?"

"Nothing, nothing whatsoever."

Venta curiously looked at his laughing Captain.

He truly didn't want to know what was going through his mind at that moment.

The next day, Venta had made his way to the forsaken realm to check on somethings.

While doing so, he thought about Asta, and what he had seen, what his own Devil had said.

Even now, as he laid on top of a tree, looking down at Asta who was swinging her newly required blade, Venta eyed up the blade, the Grimoire, and then his eyes briefly went towards his own Grimoire, before turning his eyes back towards the young girl once more.

"Her Grimoire possesses a Devil...and Anti Magic, she's got a very rare thing about her. The more I find out about her, the more intrigued I become. I wonder what else there is about her that could be going on..."

As he thought about it, he watched Asta swinging the sword.

It wasn't anything special in the swing.

It was clear that she wasn't well trained in swordsmanship.

He knew that his Captain could help her with that, and he himself had some experience with using swords.

"Anti Magic...I wonder..."

Venta thought as he looked at the bird.

Said bird looked down at him.

"What's on your mind?"

"I'm just thinking about something. About Anti Magic..."

"Anti Magic...huh."

Venta chortled.

"Yeah, something about it...it's definitely something interesting. She can wield it because she doesn't have Mana. Yet, that's such a rare occurrence, I wonder if it is completely natural or not. And then there's the Devil inside of her Grimoire, wonder what he or she is like?"

"You can't tell?"

"No, not from here anyway. Can you?" Nero shook her head. "The Devils keeping a low profile for the moment it seems. Though my own seems to be rather excited to see another Devil in the world like this."

"I see, and what does your Devil say about this?"

"Nothing much, just observing for the time being it seems."

"Then we should do the same."

Venta nodded slowly, as he continued watching Asta from a distance.

His senses then caught Yuno from a distance.

His eyes glanced to see that in a good distance away, away from Asta to most likely train as well and keep it a little hidden, he saw her manipulating the winds, and caused her to blast through several trees, and show case her power.

He thought back to what happened with the Chain Magic wielder, and how that went down.

"More than likely, she's disappointed that she wasn't able to do more in that time, and that Asta-san came to save her. She probably wishes to become stronger so she doesn't feel helpless. I can understand that feeling rather well."

Venta mused within his mind, watching as Yuno continued using her wind.

Causing it to spin around her, spin around her targets, and so on and so forth.

He pondered how strong she was going to become because of the training that she was doing and what she would do in the near future. He knew that she had a good deal of potential, seeing how far it was going to go, was something that Venta truly wished to know about and see what could happen next.

Venta breathed out as he hopped down towards Asta.

When he did, she let out a little cry and nearly fell over.

"V-Venta?!"

"Hey Asta-san."

Asta overlooked Venta's form, feeling some heat rise within her chest.

Something that she wasn't used to having.

"H-How long have you been here?!"

Her voice was laced with some nerves that she had.

Something that Venta found oddly cute since usually she wasn't the type to showcase that she was nervous at all.

"A few minutes. I saw you practising with your blade, have you got the hang of it yet?"

Asta brought up her sword, and swung it for a tree. Venta saw the arm strength she had, wielding a giant blade like she was without much effort, showcasing the fruits of the training that she had done and what she could do potentially in the future as well, something that immensely made Venta wish to go against Asta when she got the hang of using her blades and Anti Magic in general.

The blade cut into the tree slightly, then she pulled back, grinning.

"Yeah! It might seem heavy, but I can swing it around! Wanna try it?"

Venta looked at the blade, before he shook his head.

"Only you can wield that sword safely."

"I see...s-so do you know how to wield a sword?"

Venta furrowed his brows, and then stuck out his hand.

From his extending hand, after reciting a spell, a purple blade appeared in the air, which Venta grabbed.

As he did, he sliced across a tree.

However, rather than it beginning to fall, Asta saw that the tree was being raised high into the air.

As if it had just lost its centre of gravity all together.

"Wow! That's your sword?! It's glowing and shiny and everything that I love!"

Asta excitedly yelled out, Venta nodded.

"Yes, I created it with my magic. Using this sword, I can cut and make people heavy or light at the same time. Though I might not be the level of my Captain just yet, I'm able to wield a sword to a good degree."

Asta nodded again and again.

"As expected, I have a future husband that knows swordplay."

Venta gave an intrigued stare to the girl.

He then watched as she began using her sword, and cutting into the trees.

He also gave some pointers to her, and helped give her moving targets by using his Gravity Magic.

A few days later, Venta and Mimosa got together once more, and were speaking about various types of things that Venta was teaching her. While doing so, Noelle was in the background, and was trying to not listen in, she was doing everything she could to avoid trying to listen in.

But curiosity got the better of her, and she moved closer and closer, even without realizing that she was doing it.

So by the time that she had crossed the distance, and was firing off water spheres in random directions, one headed towards Venta.

Noelle gasped.

But without worry, he raised his hand and simply blasted it out of existence, surprising Noelle that he could do that so quickly.

"Wow Venta-san, did you see it coming?"

"I did, but I also sensed it. I've heard you're a good sensor Mimosa-san?"

Noelle was surprised that he hadn't snapped at her, or even tried to scold her for 'attacking' when she knew most probably would.

"W-Well, I suppose I am a little good at it...and I've been thinking about how to use that practically..."

"Well, I do know that there's a spell that you can have that you can use to locate targets. I think that would be really good for you. Then there's also the Magic Bullet, I'm sure that you've heard of that, haven't you?"

Mimosa nodded.

"Yes, that's right, I have heard of it."

"I think that would be a good starting point for you Mimosa-san. Starting off with that will get you more used to combat and how to use your Mana quickly. It costs little Mana to do, but being able to briefly push your opponent back, and then you can gear up another spell while doing it, it is something I think would work well with you." Venta's eyes glanced at Noelle who blinked, and pretended she wasn't listening. "It would also be good for you, if you want? Controlling a small form of Mana like this, will help you-"

"I-I don't need it, thanks anyway."

Rejecting his offer, Venta gave a curious stare.

"If you say so, but if you wish, I can give you some pointers."

Noelle furrowed her brows.

She didn't know what to do as a result of what was being said.

She wasn't used to people offering her such help at any kind of rate.

"I...I'll keep it in mind."

Noelle turned away, as Mimosa watched Venta form a Magic Bullet.

"I use this sometimes, even in conjunction with my own Gravity Magic. It can help you out of tight spots. Maybe there would be a way to use it with your Plant Magic...like I don't know, you fire off a bullet, and if it misses, use the plant to catch it and whip it right back to your opponent, they'd never see it coming haha~"

Mimosa giggled, while Noelle watched on from a distance.

Noelle had to admit that it was rather impressive with how he spoke, she never thought that Mimosa would ever gain anything from his words.

And even as they went on, she heard what he said, and it made sense to her ears as well.

As a result, Noelle was becoming more intrigued with the young man.

A little while later, Venta, Vanessa and other members of the Black Bulls watched keenly on as Yami, and Dorothy had a face off. More than a large battle, this was something that Yami wished to do for a good while now, and finally got the opportunity.

Venta sat on the couch with Charmy resting on his right thigh, peaking over the couch at them.

As he did, Venta caught the sight of a large man with smoke coming from his form, his lips curled upwards as he thought "Grey-chan's so shy." as he waved to the large male form.

Breathing heavily, Venta saw the large hand rise, and wave right back.

"Venta-kun, how does she play a card game if she's asleep?"

Venta wished he knew that himself, but he didn't have an answer for Charmy.

"I'm not entirely sure Charmy-chan."

"Eh...I don't get it either, Venta-kun lets eat!"

Venta lightly smiled, petting the top of her head as they casually ate some food together.

Just then, Nebra makes her appearance, and comes to sit by Venta...when she saw Charmy sat on his lap.

"W-Why is that small girl sat on your lap?"

Nebra practically demanded, Charmy raised her hands up excitedly.

"This is my favourite seat when I eat!"

"B-But, if you sit there..."

Nebra stopped herself.

She couldn't say anything else otherwise she'd give it away that she'd like to sit there.

Vanessa found it amusing that she was quite like that.

Yami sharpened his gaze upon Dorothy who didn't respond with any facial changes.

"Your move, sleepy head."

Yami said peaking through his cards at the sleeping witch.

Dorothy, without waking, took one card, and held it to her face.

Yami couldn't read her expression as she placed one of her cards down.

Yami looked on, seeing the card she threw down was one that was going to be difficult for him to deal with.

"Captain Yami, looks like he's going to lose..."

Vanessa murmurs to Venta, Yami heard what she said, and shoots a look for her, causing her to cringe, and hide behind Venta.

Gordon peeks out from behind the couch, and murmurs "My Captain, and my sleeping best friend are doing so much against each other." while Yami growls.

"Come on sleepy head...I wont lose this time to you."

Yami places a card down and takes another.

Going back and forth like this, the members of the Black Bulls watched keenly.

More and more, Yami looked on in despair as each move he made, Dorothy countered and got the upper hand.

It was clear that Dorothy was dominating the game.

Only Yami saw that it was even.

Everyone else knew the truth that Dorothy was simply a great card player, and had the best kind of poker face, one that was unconscious.

And then at the end…

Yami dropped his cards on the table before him, seeing Dorothy taking the win.

"No...I lost..."

Dorothy, still asleep, pulled out a piece of paper and pushed it towards Yami, who took it and brought to his face.

Reading it, it said [Since I won, I'd like Venta-kun for the week please.] something that made Yami grit his teeth as he stared at it.

He didn't want to admit defeat.

But he didn't have much of a choice at that moment in time.

"Damn it, Venta. You're hers for the week."

Venta let out an exasperated sigh, as the older man sharpened his gaze at the sleepy witch.

"Captain… You bet me again?"

Nebra sharpened her eyes.

"Betting him in a simple game of cards? What is wrong with you? If you wish to bet him, then bet him with me, let me win so I can take Venta-kun back to the Silver Eagles, and out of this...place, we would be happier there, I am sure."

Yami's dark eyes fell onto Nebra who winced, and pulled away.

Remembering a certain incident when she saw Yami on the toilet, it caused her to cringe, and shake her head several times side to side.

"So, what happened to not losing to her again Captain?"

Vanessa asked, genuinely curious.

Yami scowled, and punched a wall, scaring most around.

"I had a sound strategy! I didn't think I'd lose!"

Venta releases an exasperated sigh, as Dorothy casually stands up.

She goes to the side of Venta, and takes his hand, before going up towards his bedroom.

"Wait, where is she going with Venta-kun?"

Nebra demanded, only for Vanessa to casually go up the stairs as well.

Confused, she turned to Finral.

"You, tell me what's going on."

"Well, they...eh, they sorta share a bed..."

Nebra's face dropped.

"What!? They share a bed with my Venta-kun?!" Nebra yells, and turns for the stairs. But stops herself and turns back to Finral. "I don't like him by the way, I'm merely concerned...I don't have to explain myself to you."

Finral bit his lower lip as Nebra shot off up the stairs.

The large man with smoke coming out of him looked at the place they disappeared, and tilted his head in wonder.

Yami places a hand on his forehead, and whispers "Damn it." with the others beginning to leave, seeing that Yami needed some time alone.

The next day, Venta was relaxing within the Coral Peacocks base. He sat within the office of Dorothy, who sat on his lap, her head on his chest, as she sleeps away. Venta himself was checking out the possible locations of the Magic Stone that he had heard about.

He thought that he'd be able to see them soon enough if he got the right information and knowledge, and the book itself had some interesting stuff about them in, and some last known locations from various data gathered through the years.

Dorothy snuggled against Venta's body as she took his arm, and wrapped it around her like a blanket, causing his cheeks to slightly redden at the feeling. He didn't mind if this was how he was going to spend his day, if this is all Dorothy wished for then he'd happily give it to her.

Just then, when he saw Kirsch coming into the room, Venta felt like this could turn into something of a headache as Kirsch's eyes looked at Venta, and pointed at him.

"What kind of spell have you cast on Mimosa?"

"What do you mean?"

Venta asked, genuinely curious.

"M-Mimosa said you and her are going out later!"

"Yes, that's right. She wished to hear some tips about Magic and other subjects, so I said I'd meet her. Is that a problem?"

Kirsch nods strongly.

"Yes! Because she is royalty! And you're not!"

"I fail to see the problem if she wishes for us to interact."

Kirsch places a hand to his forehead, deeply sighing.

"Because she is royalty, she can't be with commoners. It would soil her reputation."

"Mimosa-sans fine with it though, shouldn't it be her choice who she hangs out with?"

Kirsch scowls.

But then Dorothy raises her hand to Kirsch, and points to the door soon afterwards.

"C-Captain? You want me to leave?"

Dorothy nodded in her sleepy state, allowing one of her hands to cup Venta's own, relaxing her body.

Kirsch's bottom lip trembles and soon shoots for the door as he yells "This isn't over!" something that Venta rolls his eyes at.

His eyes then went towards Dorothy, seeing that she was sleeping soundly.

Though he didn't voice it, he found the way that Dorothy would curl up against him, and even hold his hand, to be quite the cute action for her to do.

Sometime later, Venta and Mimosa met up with one another. Kirsch of course tagged along, albeit trying to stick to the shadows, and out of their sight. But they both knew that he was there, and that he was always trying to spy on them. Venta also saw Noelle off to the side, still practising in her own way. Noelle glanced in his direction, and he waved.

She briefly began feeling her hand going up all by itself, as if she was going to wave back.

But she didn't, and turned her neck.

"Hey Mimosa-san, sorry for being a bit late. Got held up with the Coral Peacocks."

Mimosa showed a cute smile, shaking her head several times.

"No, that's okay, I'm glad that you could make it now."

"Yeah, so lets continue okay?"

Mimosa nodded, and listened to his words.

As she did, Noelle watched on curiously, seeing Mimosa firing off green magical bullets towards him, again and again, which he deflected without much problem.

Noelle didn't understand the significance of it, but Mimosa seemed really focused on it.

"That's it Mimosa-san, the more you get used to it and how quickly you can fire these off, the quicker you will be able to produce your spells. Sometimes getting a spell off before your enemy can be a deciding factor in a battle, or at least will stop them while you plan what to do next. After getting this a bit faster, we'll go to reaction time so if you're caught by surprise or if the enemy's attack is close by, you can react as fast as possible."

Mimosa nodded, and continued on.

After speaking and training for a good hour, Venta stretched his arms, as did Mimosa.

"Well done Mimosa-san, you're getting quicker with your Magic releasing."

Mimosa panted, but had a smile on her face.

"T-Thank you."

"So now that's finished, do you want to go to the common realm and see Rebecca-san?"

Kirsch's face dropped.

Mimosa in the common realm?

It didn't feel like it should happen.

"Do you think Rebecca-san would be okay with us turning up?"

"Yeah, she did offer us dinner that time, and I thought it would be good to go and see her again. We haven't had chance in a while so, wanna go now? I contacted her this morning and she said she'd be up for us coming."

Mimosa giddily clapped her hands.

"That would be great! Ooh, we should also bring the food too."

"Yeah, I'll send a message ahead of time about the food so she doesn't have to worry and we'll go and get the food for us to have a meal at Rebecca-sans."

Kirsch really didn't like this.

He thought that there were better ways of them using their time together, and this wasn't one of them.

"Hey Noelle-san, wanna come with us?"

Venta asked the royal girl.

But Noelle shook her head.

"N...No, I'm fine."

"You sure?"

Mimosa asked sweetly.

"Y-Yes, I'm going to get some more training in."

Venta nodded.

"Well, if you're sure, then see you later." Noelle nodded. "Ready Mimosa-san?"

Mimosa gave a small giggle, nodding in agreement before waving goodbye and flying off into the air together via Venta's Gravity Magic, with Kirsch letting out a cry and chasing after them, Noelle looked on, before rolling her eyes at her male cousins antics.

Going into the common realm, Venta, Mimosa and followed by a desperately but misplaced worried Kirsch walked around the shops that they had. Though it wasn't anything like the noble realm, Venta saw some stuff that he thought would be good.

"It seems that Rebecca-san is expecting us in about an hour, I'll send the food towards her quickly and then we can hang out around here if you'd like?"

Mimosa nodded happily.

"Yes, that would be good. I haven't been to a town like this before. So it would be a good experience to know about the locals and what is around here."

Venta smiled at the girl, so he quickly zipped off into the sky, with the supplies they had gathered.

He then disappeared in a burst of speed, leaving Mimosa alone for a few moments.

As she was, her eyes went towards the place Kirsch was hiding.

"Big brother, stop following us."

Saying it in a manner that surprised Kirsch, the young man came out of his hiding spot and walked towards Mimosa.

"I thought you'd be able to sense me you magnificent little sister of mine! Your senses are as sharp as they always were! So, why don't you come with me? The commoner has left you in such a town that is unbecoming of people like us."

"He'll be back within ten or so seconds."

As she said it, she could already feel Venta's Mana approaching.

"That isn't the point! A commoners duty when with royalty is to make sure that they're taken care of!" As he yelled, Venta came flying back, so Kirsch disappeared from sight, but could still be felt by the others. "I have to watch, or he might seriously take my little sister to dangerous places. He can't, I wont let him!"

As Kirsch ranted within his mind, Venta glanced in his direction.

When seeing the eyes of Venta on him, Kirsch let out a small noise, and ducked behind a wall nearby.

Venta glanced at Mimosa who placed a hand on her face, sighing exasperatedly.

"Well, we've got sometime, Rebecca-san said we should go in about an hour when the food should be near ready. Until then, lets walk around~"

"Y-Yes, I'd like that."

Kirsch watched as Venta and Mimosa began moving through the town together. The latter of the two noticed the closeness the pair seemed to have, while the former of the two also noticed it, and how Mimosa had a red face.

"I-I can't believe it...t-this is like a date..." Mimosa caught her own thoughts, and squealed, gaining Venta's attention. "A-A date! W-We're on a date?! N-No, this isn't a date...i-it can't be, can it? B-But if it is...then Venta-san and I..."

Mimosa cutely looked at Venta, her face reddening even if she didn't wish it to do as it would be a dead giveaway to what was going on deep within her mind at that moment in time.

Kirsch definitely noticed it, and grit his teeth as they continued walking and looking at the various things around them.

"Is something wrong Mimosa-san?"

Mimosa let out a cute cry.

"N-No! Of course not! Everything's fine!"

She panted out, trying to catch her breath.

Venta wondered why she was, since they hadn't done much walking around.

But he shrugged, and let it go for now.

"Anyway, isn't this really nice? The small village I mean."

Venta spoke up, Mimosa clapped her hands together.

"Yes, it's really wonderful. And quiet. You don't find places much like this in the noble realm."

"Yeah, that's why I love little villages. Sometimes it really is nice to just take it easy, you know?"

Mimosa could definitely get that.

"B-By the way Venta-san, can I ask you something?"

"Sure, what is it?"

Mimosa shyly looked towards Venta's Grimoire, and then towards Venta's face.

"...About your Grimoire, how many...spells do you have?"

Mimosa wished to ask more about him, but she ended up becoming shy and asking that question, which she felt silly for asking.

Though Venta hummed, and replied to it anyway.

"I've got a good few spells, some for attacking, some for defence, support, things like that. I tried to diverse my spells as much as I could. I'm sure in no time, your own will have plenty of amazing spells in it."

Mimosa's face turned even more red than before, as she shyly moved closer to him.

Kirsch noticed, gritting his teeth so hard that even he for a moment thought that he had given himself away with the sound his teeth were making.

As they walked through the small village, Mimosa noticed in one of the shops, there was a necklace. It was something that looked like a crescent moon decorated with small jewels. It wasn't something that most nobles would usually wear, but for Mimosa, she thought that it looked rather nice.

Venta also noticed that she was looking at it, so he bent towards her.

"Do you like it?"

Mimosa pulled back, her cheeks reddening by the moment.

"W-What?! O-Oh no, I was just looking at it, that's all!"

Venta could tell she was lying, so he looked at it himself.

"I think it looks good, I'm sure it would suit you well Mimosa-san. How about I get it for you?"

Mimosa's cheeks burned red while Kirsch looked devastated.

"I-I couldn't..."

Mimosa murmured, but Venta shook his head.

"It's alright, don't worry about it. Here, let me."

Venta went to get it, Mimosa's body filled with more heat than it had done previously.

Venta got the necklace, and presented it to Mimosa.

Shyly, she took it, and whispered "T-Thank you." just as shyly.

Kirsch felt the colour drain from his face.

Seeing his little sister and Venta together, it was something that he couldn't handle.

When making it to Rebecca's house, Venta watched as the kids, Rebecca's siblings, all went around him. He had seen Rebecca a few times, and the siblings all seemed to like him. Mimosa also noticed that Venta got along quite well with the children, being able to entertain them and make them laugh, which seemed to also draw Rebecca to quite liking him as well.

Though what Mimosa didn't like was the fact that her brother Kirsch was right outside of the window, and staring in at them. He was trying to hide himself outside, but what he hid himself with was made out of his Cherry Blossom Magic, so it resembled more of a pink flower than anything else, and it made him very noticeable to those that are passing by.

"Black Bull-san, can you make us fly?"

"Fly! Fly!"

Rebecca smiled at her siblings.

"Now, now. He is our guest, everyone."

She said in a sweet manner, Venta waved his hand.

"I don't mind at all."

"Are you sure?"

Rebecca asked curiously, Venta nodded.

"Of course, I don't mind~ On one of my missions, it was to look after kids so this is alright for me."

"Really Venta-san?"

Mimosa asked, Venta chuckled awkwardly.

"My Captain...he lost a game within a bar, and the bar maid asked the Captain for a favour, he gave it to me, and that's how it happened. Though I did get a good reward at the end of it so it wasn't so bad." Venta clapped his hands then placed them out before him. "Gravity Magic, Floating Field."

It was a simple spell for things to begin floating up into the air.

But it wrapped around the entire area the kids were in, so they began floating up. Controlling it delicately enough so it didn't bother Mimosa, himself or Rebecca, or the furniture around the house or even the cooking food.

"Wow! We're flying!"

Luca called out, as her brother smiled.

"Yes, yes! This is amazing!"

"Hehe, fly!"

Even the smallest of the children began to float, and they all took off around the front area of the house. Flying around in different ways, as if they didn't even have any gravity to them, Rebecca was simply amazed at the sight before her.

Rebecca then began cooking, seeing her siblings enjoying their time together. She even saw Venta using his Gravity Magic to create beautiful looking purple structure that looked like a small bear in the air.

"Wow..."

Rebecca murmured as her siblings played with the gravity bear. It seemed to be super light weight, being able to be lifted by even a toddler, she had to be amazed by it, and turned her eyes towards Venta who split his focus between maintaining the spell, which wasn't that hard, and speaking to the others.

Though Rebecca noticed Kirsch looking in and gasped.

"W-Who is that? Some man is spying in on us!"

Venta glanced as did Mimosa.

The former sighed while the latter bowed her head apologetically.

"You can ignore him, he's my brother. He'll leave when we do."

Rebecca blinked several times in perplexity.

"I-Is that so?"

"Yes, it is fine. He's...He's just being his usual weird self."

Rebecca slowly nods her head, as she turns to Venta.

"By the way Venta-san, I couldn't help but notice you're good with kids. Do you have any siblings?"

Venta gently smiled, shaking his head.

"No, I don't have any. Though I tend to take care of some members of the Black Bulls so they don't go too wild, so I guess in a sense I do."

"I see, still I'm glad that you get along with my siblings so well..."

"Big sisters asking because she has a crush on you Venta-kun!"

One of Rebecca's siblings spoke up, immensely embarrassing the red head.

"N-No! It isn't anything like that!"

"But big sister, you said you wanted this to go perfect because you like Venta-kun!"

Rebecca's bottom lip trembled, she didn't want Venta to know anything about this.

"T-That's not true! I said that I wanted to cook a good meal, that's all!"

Rebecca became flustered, and placed her head down towards the food to concentrate on cooking.

Venta thought Rebecca looked rather adorable at that moment in time.

Then, when the food was ready, they sat down to eat it.

"Wow, this is amazing Rebecca-san!"

Venta called out, Rebecca poked her fingers together shyly.

"Really? Is it good?"

"Definitely, a home cooked meal like this is outstanding."

"I have to agree Rebecca-san, this really tastes good."

Rebecca gave a humble smile as they continued eating.

As they ate dinner together, Kirsch watched the closeness between Venta and Mimosa.

He couldn't believe that Mimosa first was eating with commoners.

But even seemed to be enjoying herself.

Laughing together with Rebecca and Venta, it just didn't seem right.

Even after they finished, as Venta and Mimosa helped with washing the dishes, Kirsch couldn't believe such a thing was happening. It just didn't compute within his mind that his sister would have to do something like clean dishes.

And in his mind, he blamed Venta for it.

"You don't have to help me. You're the guests."

Rebecca explained, though Venta shrugged.

"I really don't mind, it's the least we can do after the amazing food you made."

"Yes, it was really wonderful."

Mimosa added with a cute smile.

Rebecca gave a bashful look.

"I'm glad you...both enjoyed it."

Rebecca looked on as Venta helped clean the plates, and smiled.

It had been a good while since she had people around and the fact that they were kind, made it all the more better in Rebecca's eyes. Even nobles like Mimosa, seeing her was a treat to Rebecca's eyes and she loved each moment of it.

As they continued speaking, Kirsch from outside watched the interactions, his mind going through a lot of different things all together.

"This can't be happening. A commoner or whatever he is can't be with my darling little sister. She is too beautiful for him! But she's really attached...I have to go with the combat option, there's nothing else that I can do now..."

Kirsch made up his mind, as he watched Mimosa giggling at something Venta said. He couldn't hear what was being said, but he felt for sure that it was something that he didn't want around his little sister, he couldn't have it happen.

Late into the night, Venta went back to the ruins he, Mimosa and Noelle usually spent time together after walking Mimosa back to her home. He saw the darkness of the night overtaking the area, blanketing it in darkness.

But even then, he could hear the sound of something.

The sound of frustration and the sound of shattering rocks.

He moved closer and closer, until he found Noelle stood there, panting to herself.

He watched as Noelle's frustrations were evident on her face, how she clutched her hand and how she looked angered by what was going on deep inside of her.

Venta cleared his throat, getting Noelle's attention.

"W-What are you doing here?"

Noelle demanded, Venta watched on for a few moments, before walking closer.

"Noelle-san, can I ask you to do something for me? It might seem strange, but please hear me out."

"W-What?"

Noelle was curious as to what he wished for her to do.

"Attack me."

Noelle was surprised that she was asked that.

"What?"

"I'm serious, attack me."

"But..."

"It's alright, go for it."

Noelle showed a perplexed face, but went along with it regardless.

"Fine, have this!"

Noelle thrusted her hands out, and shot off a sphere of water.

While she did, Venta watched her keenly, seeing what was going on.

As he watched her eyes, he believed he understood something's about her.

He watched it come close, then suddenly change direction and slam into the ground.

She tried it again and again.

But each time the same result happened.

"D-Damn, not again..."

Noelle sighed out, while Venta hummed.

"I think I understand now..." Venta walked closer to Noelle, and folded his arms. "I can help you with controlling your Mana, Noelle-san."

"W-What? Y...You can?"

She seemed genuinely stunned.

Venta nodded.

"Your Magic is very beautiful, and I can see with some training in the right direction, you can quickly show improvements in controlling your Magic. I can understand why you lack control. It's because you're kind."

"K-Kind?"

Noelle was perplexed, so Venta explained.

"Yes, when I asked you to attack me, I saw your eyes hesitate. That kindness to not harm others, is a factor as to why you can't fire your attacks at people."

Venta expressed, as he pulled closer.

Venta searched his clothes for a certain object.

"Where is it...?" He mused to himself, but then stopped, and pulled out a beautifully decorated wand. "Here, this wand will help you."

Noelle took the wand, and looked over it.

It seemed a bit more decorated than most wands usually were.

It had a mix of blue and silver colour with a red jewel set in the base, and had 'Venta' written across the right hand side.

"This is yours..."

"Yeah, it was a gift and means a good deal to me, so don't lose it~" Venta said with a cheery tone, then budged closer and adopted a more serious tone. "If you want me to teach you, I can help you learn how to harness that amazing Mana you have inside, and turn you into a more than competent Mage. With the Mana I can sense from you, you'd be very strong."

"B-But...why would you help me?"

Noelle questioned it, as she hadn't ever had anyone apart from Mimosa offer any kind of help.

Even her own family...

So his reply to her question made her question a lot of things.

"Why wouldn't I help you?"

That...immensely shocked Noelle.

As a royal, she hadn't seen many cases of people helping others, just because they wished to.

There always was an angle, but with Venta...

There wasn't.

And what Mimosa said as well.

How she trusted Venta.

She turned away from him, as tears formed in her eyes.

She bit her lower lip and then exhaled slowly.

"C-Can you really help me?"

Hearing the crackle in her voice, it was clear she hadn't ever really experienced things like this, where people wished to help her.

Venta smiled strongly.

"Yes, Noelle-san. I definitely can. You have the power, all you need is the tools to help control it, and I can give them to you, no problem."

Noelle brought a hand to her face, and dried the tears, before turning back, with a serious but grateful face.

"Then, what are we waiting for?"

Venta chuckled.

"Right then, lets begin lesson one."

Noelle nodded, and listened to his words carefully.

As she did, she felt a small heat gathering in her chest.

This hadn't ever happened to her before...

Someone was truly going to help her, not look down on her, or get angry at her...

She couldn't help but begin to feel a little better.

Meanwhile, in another part of the Clover Kingdom, Sally flung her head back as she saw a pink haired young woman, who went by the name of Fana coming into her room. She was surprised, since rarely did Fana ever do anything like this, at least with someone like her.

So she watched as Fana sat down and didn't speak a word.

Sally became confused for a few moments, as Fana simply stared at her.

"Eh...can I help you?"

"Why...do you waste our valuable people, sending them after the Gravity Mage user?"

Hearing the cold tone, Sally cringed ever so slightly.

But then she adopted a light hearted smile on her face.

"To test his Magic of course and to see what else he truly can do, why else would I want to do that?"

"Stop it."

Sally blinked in perplexity.

"Sorry?"

"Wasting resources against one Mage, we have to recruit even more now as he's wiped out a good number of us."

Sally felt that it was slightly disingenuous about the reason that Fana wished for her to stop.

It felt like there was something more than Fana hadn't revealed.

"So, you're worried about losing members? Don't you hate humans like us?"

Fana's eyes sharpened on Sally as flames flickered around her.

Cringing at the sight, Sally placed her hands up in the air as if to say she didn't want to cause any problems.

"Our leader wishes for you to gather more members, replacing the ones we've lost thanks to your experiments."

Sally giggled awkwardly.

"I can certainly do that, though I am shocked you're delivering the news. Wanna share something yourself? I was watching in Hage and later on near the Grimoire Tower, you went there, didn't you?"

Fana's flames erupted around her, causing Sally to jump back.

"You must be mistaken."

"...Though you were there, I was curious as to why? I mean, I know why I like sending out my own people to research Venta-kun, but what were you after? He is a human...why did you want to see him?"

Fana's growled, and her flames shot near Sally's head, surprising Sally, and then the wall behind Sally began to burn as Fana stood up.

If Fana wished, she could have attacked, but Sally saw her divert her Magic out of the way.

"If you want to study him, don't waste our resources."

With that, Fana turned and walked out of the room, leaving Sally with many questions.

"Okay...that was very odd. Wasting resources, yet she doesn't care for humans...maybe the leader said something about it, but the way she said it, felt like there was more to it. And how she went to that tower...she lured him out. But, she didn't do anything but talk. Damn, I wish I knew why she had done that, I couldn't even get the conversation either...wish I knew what she said and what he said. Still...something more is going on here, something that I think I'll have to investigate. What is it about this human, Venta-kun, that interests you so, Fana-chan~?"

Sally couldn't hide her feelings for long.

She was becoming more and more intrigued by the moment.

And she definitely wished to explore more about it as time went on.

Alas, for the moment she had little to go on.

But she was determined to make sure that changed soon enough.

End chapter!

So this chapter focused on some developing relationships such as Vanessa, Mimosa, Noelle, Rebecca, Dorothy (even if she was asleep, showing she likes having Venta as a sleeping partner) and even Fana and Sally in certain ways. It also seems thanks to the efforts of Venta and some others, the Eye of the Midnight Sun has lost some members, some that Sally will have to replace, and Sally's trying to work out Elf Fana and what she's up to. Kirsch also seems to be quite protective over Mimosa, so something might happen with him quite soon, and even a little glimpse and more to come of Grey.

It seems also a good few people like the idea of Yami with Karna from the video games, so I think that's the pairing I'll go with, their interactions will be fun to see.

So onto the Devil Magic, I got some cool suggestions and I thought of which would go best with Venta's Gravity Magic to form something truly powerful, so here they are!

Demon Light Magic.

Spatial Magic.

Demon Ice Magic.

Demon Blood Magic.

Steel/Iron Magic.

So yeah, those are the choices, and if you'd like to vote, then please do!

Well, until next time, thanks for reading!

Venta; Mimosa, Vanessa, Secre, Dorothy, Rebecca, Asta (fem), Yuno (fem), Noelle, Elf Fana, Mereoleona, Nebra, Sol, Sally, Grey, Charmy, Charlotte,
