Darth Simp; Yeah, he is more of a mentor right now, he wishes for those around to grow strong as well. Yeah, when he knows the newbies wouldn't be able to handle it, then he'd step in, but he believes in them and supports them with his advice, and his word. Yeah, they'll definitely have that when they see Venta's true power. Venta will help train Asta with her Devil yeah, since he's been through it before, he'll offer her advice and what he can do to help. That's a good theory, he could be, seems like he knows a good deal of the past~

Klaus is beginning to come around to Venta yeah, he wasn't sure at the beginning, but he can see that his methods are helping those that are new with their progression. Silver crow; Thanks. Glad you like the bedroom scene. He'll be undoing some of the curse pretty soon. Yeah, they're doing it for their own reasons, they don't care about Salim. Yeah, Yami needs to play against those he has a chance of beating haha. Yeah, the girls seemed to sense it pretty well. Venta does yeah, he and Yami have a good relationship. Nebra definitely is yeah. I'm sure that Asta will be over the moon when he hears what goes down with Lily. Seems Klaus got quite a surprise. Mimosa was yeah. Yeah, his backstory is interesting, glad we're seeing more of him. Maybe he does have a good compatibility with them yeah. Maybe Nebra could be yeah. He'll spend time with Charlotte and Sol pretty soon. They'd be cool pets. She could come back, I guess we'd have to wait and see if she's got another role to play in the story. Noelle fan; Nebra seems to have done yeah, but Noelle will have her time come soon. He is yeah, he's helping them progress. We'll see what happens with Salim.

With those reviews out of the way, it's time to start the chapter.
Salim's mission part two
Having managed to traverse the lands in a rather quick pace, Salim was gathering what he supposedly needed. Mimosa was also looking around at the different flowers that were around, which were a mixture of pinks, yellows and blues, on the rare occasion, even managing to see reds and whites as well, all of it filled her senses and she became happy as a result of seeing them.
Venta was off to the side, sat on a giant rock with Yuno sat close by. He was currently reading a book as Yuno herself hugged her right knee towards her chest, and the other leg stretched down the giant rock, resting in a comfortable position.
Klaus wished to be useful, so he was doing some patrols that were quite close by. Venta could sense him so he could go and help out if he needed to go and do just that, while Yuno's eyes kept going towards Venta who was relaxed.
"Amazing, look at all of these different types of flowers Venta-kun, can you see?"
Venta peered over his book, and smiled as he saw Mimosa pick some flowers for herself.
"Yes, they're very beautiful Mimosa-san."
Mimosa lips curled upwards.
"I'm going to get some, I think they'd brighten up headquarters don't you think?"
"Certainly, they're quite lovely to any kind of place they'd be put in."
Mimosa showed a small smile on her face.
She then continued doing her best in picking the flowers.
Salim on the other hand shot a dirty look towards Venta, and was becoming increasingly unsure of what he was going to do, since his first plan had failed, he had to think of better ways of using his powers to try and corner the group.
Yuno and Venta he wanted to get rid of.
He didn't care much for Mimosa or Klaus, they were only in the way for him.
He just wanted them gone, and he was going to do his best no matter what.
As Salim was plotting, Yuno's eyes drift towards Venta.
Seeing how calm and composed he was, Venta was someone that Yuno did quite look up to in ways that he was able to handle many things, whether that was fights, or someone trying to trash talk, it was something that Yuno really did like.
But there was a burning question within her mind that she needed to ask at that moment in time.
"Venta-kun, it's Salim, isn't it?"
Venta turned his eyes towards Yuno.
"So you think that's the case?"
"I think that it is, considering that he's been acting suspicious, and when he was back in the chariot, he was being even more fearful than one usually would be, at least that's the impression that I got from him. I could be completely wrong in that matter, but I thought that I should share my thoughts."
Venta was glad to see that Yuno was doing such a thing.
It showed that she truly was trying her best.
"Yes, perhaps it is best to keep an eye on him, though don't make it look like you're suspicious, okay? Can't let him know that we're onto him all of a sudden, he might try something else. So until then, I'm sure that you've got this."
Yuno was thankful for the confidence that he had in her.
"By the way Venta-kun, what happened before, I am...thank you, for believing in us, that we had the power to do this together. Even though those like Klaus-san didn't believe that you were being a good leader, I did one hundred percent. I've seen everything that you've done, you don't do things unless you've got a good reason behind it."
"Thanks, but it's all you guys, I know you can do this, I'm just here in case something happens."
Venta was quite happy to hear that coming from Yuno, it seemed that she really did appreciate what was going on with the mission and how he chose to handle it as opposed to how some others might have handled it.
Later that day, they went towards Hage, since it was getting late. As they arrived in the small village, Venta glanced at Salim who didn't really like being there, Klaus was like that too, but to a lesser extent, while Mimosa took in the sights around her.
Despite it being such a small little village, she really did like the area they were in. She could see some kids running around by themselves, having fun. She also saw that Yuno looked rather happy, even if she didn't fully display it on her face.
"Amazing, so this is your village Yuno-san? How does it feel to be back?"
Yuno hummed as she thought of an answer.
"It is good to be back, it hasn't been all that long since I left together with Asta."
"She sent some money back here, it seems they've put it to good use."
Venta noted, with Yuno's eyes drifting back towards him.
"Is that so?"
"Yeah, she sent a good deal back, she wished to take care of the others."
"I see, so I wasn't the only one."
Venta smiled, and pulled closer, poking the right hand side of her slightly reddening cheek.
"You're a big softy inside after all, aren't you Yuno-san?"
Yuno didn't want to admit anything, so she kept a stoic expression on her face.
"I don't know what you mean."
Mimosa giggled, and leapt to the right hand side of her.
"I think you simply wished to have your family be safe and secure, right Yuno-san?"
Yuno didn't answer Mimosa.
But it was clear to the pair of them that was the case.
Salim exhaled slowly.
"So this is a peasants village, it has a certain, niceness to it, doesn't it Klaus-san?"
Venta rolled his eyes at Salim, who was clearly looking repulsed by the area compared to the likes of Venta and Mimosa who quite enjoyed it.
"Yes, it is a rather calm and collected area that we will be sleeping in tonight."
"We should be going, I am sure that Sister Lily will be in the middle of getting prepared for making dinner, if we're to have some then we should make our presence known right away."
Venta nodded at what Yuno said, so the five of them walked across the small village together. His eyes glanced towards Salim, who was looking at everything with a superior gaze. Even when trying to hide it, he didn't do that well, and ended up looking like he was getting ready to leave even though they had just arrived.
Getting to the Church, Yuno and the others walked inside, and saw the Sister herself, preparing some food as Yuno had believed she would be.
"Sister..."
Before she could finish, Lily's eyes turned towards them, and she gained a bright smile.
Seeing Yuno, was a joyous occasion to the young Sister.
"Yuno, you've returned, and with Asta's boyfriend too~"
Venta almost coughed when she said that, though Yuno didn't seem to like that idea very much.
Mimosa tilted her head, while Klaus pushed up his glasses.
"A-Asta's boyfriend?"
Yuno tried to keep a calm demeanour, but she did find it quite difficult in doing so.
"Yes, that's right, isn't it? That's what Asta has said anyway."
Yuno exhales.
"I wouldn't trust Asta if I was you, you can never tell what's going on with her."
Lily adopted a smile.
"I'm glad that you've returned Yuno, are you staying tonight?"
"If you don't mind? We were just coming back from a mission and thought it be best to travel in the sun considering the people that we had run across. We might have to prepare to fight and we wouldn't have an advantage in the darkness."
"If that's the case, then please make yourselves welcome. I'll prepare some more food for you all, in the meantime, please relax, and have a bath if you wish to relax. It seems that you've had quite the ordeal."
Though it wasn't so bad, Venta thought it was sweet of Lily to say such things.
"That's a really nice offer, everyone you should take it up. You never know what's to come about."
"Though, I think we should also do an area sweep, wouldn't that be advised Vice Captain?"
Klaus asked, Venta nodded.
"Yes, I'd agree. There's no telling what will happen."
Klaus nodded, and took off, leaving the rest of them alone.
Venta then stretched.
"Well, I'll leave the security stuff up to you guys, I'm gonna go and relax~"
Venta walked off, leaving the four alone together, with Lily glancing at Salim and though she didn't know him, she saw a darkness in his eyes as he stared at the departing Venta, a stare that she didn't like at all.
Before having dinner together, Venta managed to sneak into the baths together with Nero in bird mode. Her small bird body floated in the small bath, while Venta used his Magic to float some water up, and then have it come down so it was acting quite like a shower head would do.
"Once we finish this, I'll have everything sorted out Nero."
"Yes, I am sure that you will do."
Venta stretched his arms above his head, and yawned.
"Trying to not speak my mind to that damn Salim can be annoying sometimes huh."
"Yes, I wish to peck his eyes."
Venta laughed.
"I'd love to see that~"
In the middle of their conversations, the door suddenly opened, and coming through it, with only a towel draped around her slender form, that showed off the curves of her body as well as the ampleness of her chest, was Mimosa herself, who had her hair up in a cute ponytail.
She smiled as she walked in, believing that she was alone…
But then froze when she saw Venta there.
Not only Venta there, but Venta shirtless.
No, not just shirtless, he was naked.
Seeing the shape of his chest, and running down, seeing his muscular frame, she couldn't even fathom of looking down anymore than that or she might lose herself, she instead opted to stay on his face, and his eyes, though even if she did look, the water covered a good deal of his lower body from view.
Her face burned a bright red that she couldn't hide for long.
"V-VENTA-KUN!? W-WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?! W-WAIT, I WALKED IN ON YOU, PLEASE FORGIVE ME! I DIDN'T THINK TO SENSE! MY SENSES..."
It seemed that Mimosa hadn't sensed ahead of time, or she was distracted by something and was caught off guard that Venta was inside of the bathroom.
Her face erupted with massive amounts of redness, feeling both embarrassed and shyness at the same time.
Venta's eyes drifted to the water, not showing the same amount of either emotion, he wasn't embarrassed or shy about this kind of situation since he had experienced it once or twice when it came to people like Vanessa or Nebra on occasion.
"Mimosa-san, you okay?"
Mimosa continued to blush as she poked her fingers together shyly.
"S-Seeing a man in s-such a state is something t-that I haven't ever s-seen before...c-could you tell m-me if you have on a, a towel on your h-hips..."
Venta chortled, shaking his head.
"I don't."
Mimosa's body convulsed in place, as heat pooled through her entire being.
"Y-You don't...y-you don't have a-anything on at a-all…?"
Venta shook his head.
"No, I don't have anything on. If you'd like to pass me a towel, then I'll happily put it on..."
"N-No!" She gasped at her own word, as she seemed in that moment to wish to see Venta in such a state. "I...I erm...I erm...t-the bath is..."
Venta raised an eyebrow.
"So, do you want to join me Mimosa-san? I don't mind."
Mimosa's mind was blown.
Getting into the same bath as Venta.
Being right next to him in the bath…
Seeing everything that he had to offer…
She blushed up a huge storm on her face, and she nodded then shook her head, then nodded, and shook her head again in several different ways, Venta thought that she was acting rather adorable in that moment.
However, before she could say anything, Yuno happened to come into the room. Wearing nothing but a towel around her waist, and upper body to cover her chest, her eyes danced between Venta and Mimosa.
"Venta-kun, I didn't know you were in the bath."
Venta lightly laughed.
"Seems to be the trend around here."
Yuno's face turned slightly red as she stared at Venta's naked upper body.
She even felt her body becoming hotter as a result of seeing Venta in such a state.
"Well, I don't mind sharing a bath with you Venta-kun, I'm sure you and Asta do it all of the time."
Venta chortled, he could see that Yuno looked slightly jealous, though she wouldn't admit to it.
When she said it, Mimosa's face drained of colour.
"A-Are you serious?!"
"Yes, you haven't done it yet?"
Mimosa violently shook her head side to side.
"N-No, I haven't been able to do anything like that yet!"
Venta showed a soft smile, as Yuno walked over.
Going by Mimosa, she got into the water, and laid her head on Venta's shoulder.
Though partly that was to be close to him.
She also felt her face being bright red, so she did it to hide her face from him.
Mimosa on the other hand watched on as Venta casually looked towards her.
"This kind of situation...Venta-kun and I are alone...with Yuno-san, in the baths together. If I got in now, then we could have a relaxing bath together. We could even engage in something that could be called a cuddle at the same time...no, I couldn't do anything like that, could I…? Venta-kun looks so relaxed, so if I did just jump into the bath right now..."
Mimosa, as she thought, got into the water.
It seemed her body had decided for her, and she ended up with her head resting firmly on his shoulder.
With Yuno on the opposite side, Venta looked between the two beautiful women.
But then Mimosa let out a cute noise.
"Haaaaaaaau! I'm in the bath with Venta-kuuuuuuuuuuuun!"
As she yelled it out, she hugged his arm tightly between her breasts, Venta's face begins to turn red as Yuno glances over, seeing what Mimosa was doing, and mimicked the same action, with his arms now cushioned between both of their breasts.
Mimosa's bottom lip trembles, but was adamant that she wouldn't be leaving the water.
Yuno also gave a challenging stare, and kept close to Venta.
But like that, the three of them enjoyed a nice hot bath together.
As that was going on, Salim managed to slip outside. He inhaled and exhaled as he made a call towards a certain someone. He managed to give them a call via the communication Magic tool that she received, and when he did, what appeared was Sally.
But she looked rather tired, with one hand resting on the right hand side of her cheek.
"Eh...you look bored."
Sally yawned, wiping her brow.
[Having one of those days, you know. A slump. So, what's going on huh?]
Salim didn't look impressed with Sally.
But for the time being, he kept his personal feelings to himself.
"I need you to send over some reinforcements."
Sally let out a small annoyed breath.
[What happened to those guys from before?]
"W-Well, it didn't go to exactly my plan, but I have decided on a new way for us to win. It is simple, I'm going to kidnap the nun, and then I am going to use her as a hostage so I can lure them into a trap, that's why I need you to help me out with that, okay? This really is to the benefit of both of us, you want to get rid of Venta and Yuno as well, right?"
Sally stared into his eyes.
She didn't really answer that, but she did show a small smile on her face.
[We have some objectives that are the same so in a sense yes that's right.]
"Right, right. Then will you be able to send the guys over? And I need that Magic Tool as well, these people have power that I didn't expect. I have to have a boost to my power to be able to crush them in my own way."
Sally suddenly widened her eyes with some excitement.
She was able to test out some new things that she had been working on.
[Well, if that's the case, then I'll have them sent over right away, okay? I'm sure that you've got this, I believe in you.]
Sally didn't believe in him.
But she did wish to at least see what was going to happen with the power she was going to grant him.
"Heh, well I didn't really need your support, but thank you I suppose. Leave it with me, I'll crush these stupid fools."
[Okay, have fun~ Don't forget to use what I sent okay?]
Sally waved, and cut off the communications.
Salim's face grew more and more into a sinister smirk.
Now that he would have the support, he was going to be able to kill those he truly did hate, no matter what was going to happen.
While he spoke to Sally...he didn't notice something was watching him.
Later on at dinner, they all sat around a table together. With the kids, the Father, and Sister sat around, with Venta sat between Mimosa, and Yuno, with Klaus sat close by, and Salim as well was sat close by to him, eating the food Lily had cooked for them.
Nero's eyes stayed laser focused upon Salim.
Her eyes not leaving him for even a moment.
Salim looked at Nero, seeing the bird staring at him.
"There's something wrong with that bird...no, it's nothing. Maybe it's just a freak, like it's freaky seat, that damn Venta. Honestly, thinking that they can get the better of me. Not tonight. I am going to electrocute you all into nothingness."
Salim kept his thoughts to himself, and simply ate the food before him.
He didn't like it, as it wasn't to his, as he would say, noble tastes.
But he kept on a smile, and complimented Lily.
"This is really good, I need the recipe."
Venta glanced at Salim, seeing his smile going towards Lily.
She looked back at him, and she could see through the lies that he was trying to give.
But she kept up a civil smile, and bowed her head.
"Thank you, I'll get a copy of it to you at my next convenience, is that okay?"
"Ah, of course Sister. In the meantime, could I have some more?"
Venta thought it was funny that he was trying to act sweet.
Because his face was so forced to smile that it looked painful.
Lily however did give him some more, while conversations went around the table. With what was going on with Asta, and what Yuno was up to, among other things. The children around also began laughing together while Yuno told them some stories of what she had been up to until that point.
"This is a really lovely Church, Yuno-san, did you really grow up here?"
Mimosa brought up in the middle of their conversation.
"Yes, that's right, since I was a baby, I've been here."
"Amazing, it must have been really nice to grow up in such an open area. The fields around and the forest of trees that's only a little walk from here. I even noticed the Demon that left its skeleton behind, it must have been something you were curious about."
Venta really loved how much an open mind Mimosa really had, and how she would keep being her usual kind self.
"I suppose that it could be described like that yes."
As she spoke, Klaus' eyes went towards Venta, and thoughts ran through his head, thoughts that he'd like to discuss openly.
"I have a question." Klaus began, his eyes glued on Venta. "I have heard that you had trained Mimosa-san here."
Venta nodded.
"Yes, that's right, I have trained her beforehand. She really is coming a good way to being able to fight very well. Even now, I think she can contend with a good few people in a one on one type of fight, she has much potential."
Venta's reply caused Mimosa to feel heat on her cheeks.
"I see, and you became the Vice Captain, of the Black Bulls. May I ask, why did you choose the Black Bulls out of all of the squads? If your power is to be believed, then why didn't you choose other squads, like Golden Dawn, or another squad? Or, is it that you have recently awakened this level of power?"
Venta shook his head.
"That's an interesting question, not one I really can answer easily without getting into it, and that would take a little time to discuss about, you know? Though I think the Black Bulls personally have some of the most fun people to be around."
"Would you consider switching squads?"
Klaus continued, Venta raised a brow.
"Why? Want me to come towards Golden Dawn?"
Klaus spluttered as Venta gave a teasing voice.
"N-No! I was just curious that's all!"
"Well, I really like being in the Black Bulls, other squads are also cool, but I'm happy in the squad I'm in. Plus, there's never a dull day around, as either my Captain is losing in card games and freaking out, Luck and Magna are going at it, or Gordon-san is doing something to creep someone else out, I really do enjoy being in the Black Bulls, do you enjoy being in Golden Dawn?"
Klaus didn't even have to think about it, and answered it right away.
"Yes, it is the perfect squad for myself. Though I am shocked that the Black Bulls is the place you wished to stay the most. Seeing how you've been acting, I can see that my initial assessment of you was off base, and that you're very competent."
"So, you thought I wasn't competent beforehand?"
Venta asked with a curious look, Klaus' face dropped, as he moved his hands side to side.
"I didn't mean it to come out in that way! I was just trying to work out why someone that seems different to how I've heard the Black Bulls being would be with them, that's all. Forgive my rudeness."
Venta lightly chortled.
"Maybe it is a bit odd, but they're really great people. You can't always trust what you hear about people. Like take Asta-san, people would probably just assume that because she's loud and seems to have no Magic, that she's not really worthy of being a Mage, but if you see her, then you'd see that she's a very strong person that is only going to be getting stronger, and she has such a kind heart."
Hearing him speak positively about Asta was something those of the Church really did love.
Even Yuno liked it as well, and ended up having a small smile on her face.
Mimosa giggled.
"I think if Nebra-san had her way with what squad you were in Venta-kun, many things would be different."
Venta nodded with a smile plastered on his face.
"That's quite true."
Salim looked between them, and his eyes drifted towards the Sister.
Barely noticeably, he looked at her, and kept thinking of ways they can be alone together.
He needed to get her alone, so his plan to kidnap her could work.
If he did anything now then he knew that it wouldn't be the best thing to do, with so many strong Mage's being around.
Lily then raised her hand.
"Oh, I'll bring in some more. It seems to be going so much tonight."
"Allow me to help Sister."
Venta offered, Lily smiled.
"That would be so kind, thank you."
Venta and Lily disappeared together.
They appeared a minute later with the food, and sat down once more.
Salim looked at the water, and then towards Lily, thinking this would be a good chance.
"Ah, Sister, is there anymore water?"
"Oh, dear, it looks like I'll have to get some from the well. Would anyone like to help me?"
Yuno went to stand.
"Then I'll..."
"I'll go."
Salim offered, Lily adopted a smile.
"That would be nice."
"But Sister..."
Yuno had some concerns, only for Venta to wave his hand in an elegant manner.
"It is fine Yuno-san, please let them go."
Yuno wondered why.
But she believed Venta would have thought about Lily's safety, so she didn't oppose the idea either.
So together, Lily and Salim walked out together.
As Sister Lily went outside, together with Salim. She began fetching the water from the well, when Salim walked up closer and closer to her. Wielding a knife that could paralyze a body, he was moving closer to stab her so he could take her with him.
"Salim-san, it was really nice that you offered to help me. I was a bit surprised though, I didn't think you'd want to do things such as these."
Lily said with a graceful smile.
Salim kept on his smile as he budged closer and closer.
"Well, I have been quite humbled thanks to my experiences, and I wished to be of help, to see how peasants live their lives. This is also a reason that I came out in the middle of nowhere, and you yourself, for a peasant, you are pretty wonderful."
Lily glanced at him, before placing a hand on her cheek in a bashful manner.
"Me, a simple peasant girl, is being spoken so highly by a nobleman such as yourself? I am touched. Thank you Salim-san."
Salim adopted a small smile, as his eyes looked over the Sister.
"Would you like to offer me a compliment?"
Lily's eyes went over Salim, and laughed awkwardly.
"You have great...fashion sense."
Salim clapped his hands together, seemingly happy to receive such praise.
"I do have a keen eye for designer clothing and the likes. Even peasants have their qualities after all. Say Sister, what do you think about Yuno and Venta huh? They were people that have caused me trouble in the past."
Lily gave a shocked face.
"I didn't know at all, those two are beautifully kind people, I couldn't imagine them being troublesome."
"Well, it wasn't like they were troublesome, it was more like they had shown power above mine. It is a humiliating thing Sister. I couldn't stand the idea that two people of lower status than I am could even land a hit on me." Salim budged closer, and his hand laid on her shoulder. "Don't you think that was wrong? Me, a nobleman, even harassed by those of lower status than I am? It makes me sic thinking about it."
"Really? I wouldn't expect either of them to act in such an outlandish manner. Especially not my cute adorable Venta-kun~"
Salim did a spit take.
"W-What?"
"You didn't know? Venta-kun and I are a thing, have been for like, six months now."
Salim looked as if he had seen a ghost.
"You're dating!? Him, that weirdo from the Black Bulls, and you, the Sister!?"
Lily's cheeks turn rosy as she places her hands on the side of said cheeks.
"A Sister such as myself will surely lose myself in the romance with Venta-kun. So please don't call him a weirdo again, thank you."
Salim felt his hand tightening around the handle of his knife to the point his knuckles turned white.
He looked super pissed off at that moment.
"But he's bad!"
"Well, I think we'll have to agree to disagree~"
Salim was shocked and angry at this turn of events.
He brought out the knife, and aimed it at her.
"Heh, then this works in my favour, I'll take out his nun girlfriend!"
Salim raised his knife to Lily.
The young nun looked on with saucer like eyes…
But then simply grabbed his wrist, squeezing it so tight that Salim released the knife, it dropped down onto the ground, where Lily kicked it upwards, allowing it to reach her hand, and twirled it around as Salim pulled away, feeling pain in his wrist.
"That wasn't nice, I am but a humble woman, and you're trying to do such devilish things. I shall call my beloved to stop your wicked ways."
Lily turned when Salim encased himself in lightning.
"Go and die you idiot nun!"
Lily turned back, seeing the wave of lightning coming for her.
But to Salim's shock, she waved her own hand, and deflected the lightning into the air.
Exploding up in said air, the sky crackled with electricity, as Salim saw Lily place both of her feet heavily on the ground.
"Now you've endangered the children, I will not forgive you!"
Lily pushed off the ground, and like a bullet, went straight for Salim.
She moved so fast that he couldn't react to her movements, as her hand wrapped around the front of his face, and slammed it down into the ground.
The result of it caused the ground to have a crater the size of Salim's head, expanding outwards with several parts of the earth coming up from the ground, Salim's head bleeding from the impact.
"WHAT THE HELL! WHAT KIND OF SISTER ARE YOU!?"
Lily's cold eyes went towards Salim's panicked ones.
"I am Sister Lily, do not mess with those I care for again. Because if you do, you will incur my wrath!"
Lily moved her hand, dragging Salim with her, and then launched him out of the village with incredible strength, smashing his body into a tree.
As she did, she pulled back, and let out a call.
"Yuno! Yuno! Please come and help me!"
No sooner as she said it, Yuno came shooting out with Mimosa, Klaus and Venta following lastly.
"Sister! What happened?"
"That awful man Salim tried to attack me, but I kicked him out of the village. I saw that more people are coming, Yuno please, I'm worried for the children."
"Yes, it's okay..." She glanced at Venta, who smiled in her direction, then turned towards Klaus and Mimosa. "We have to go and stop Salim, he's the one behind the attack on us before, and now that he's attacked Sister Lily..."
Klaus glanced at Venta who gave a soft smile back.
His eyes went to Sister Lily who nodded strongly, oddly it felt rather inspiring to see Lily do that.
"Yes, you're right. Mimosa-san, you go with Yuno-san. I shall stay behind in the village and defend it in case some enemies do come. I have the best chance of doing so in such an area due to my Steel Magic, I will be able to defend everyone, you two go and confront him."
Yuno and Mimosa look at each other, before nodding and flying off as Venta brought out some brooms for them to fly on.
Klaus then moved towards the front of the village to prepare.
As they did, Lily and Venta came close together, with Venta bending his head down.
"Are they gone? Can we do that thing now?"
"Hehe of course~"
Lily takes Venta's hand as magical lights erupt around them, with Lily fiddling with some kind of device on both Venta and herself.
As the magical lights wash over them, Venta suddenly decreased in height, while Lily grew in height. Their physical features began to chance, and eventually, Venta became Lily, and Lily became Venta, showing that they had swapped places.
"Good for one transformation, not bad huh." As Venta said it, he stretched his finger out, as Nero came flying down. "My adorable Nero, did you get everything we need?"
Nero nodded.
Lily looked on with a soft smile.
"Venta-kun, how did you know he would target me?"
"Well, I didn't know fully, but I had Nero, my bird here, spy on him. Who'd suspect a bird of being able to do so much? What information I gathered from my bird, alerted me to what he might be up to, so I took a chance, and I didn't want you to be in danger, so I thought it would be best if we swap places. Seems to have worked huh."
"Amazing, and you pulled off the transformation so well. Not even those that knew us were able to tell the difference."
Venta rubbed under his nose with a grin on his face.
"Hehe, it seems we can imitate one another pretty well~"
As he spoke, he thought about Grey and how she'd do it so well, but he thought Lily and himself did a pretty good job.
"Where did you get that Magic Tool?"
"I've got some connections, thought they'd come in handy so I brought a few with me. Though the transformation doesn't last long, it's good to use it in emergencies like this."
As he spoke, Lily moved closer.
"By the way, how was it being a Sister?"
Venta laughed loudly.
"Gotta say, it's funny seeing people underestimate you, you should have seen Salim's face, poor guy didn't know what hit him when I stopped his attack, and kicked him out of the village."
"Hehe, I wish I could have seen it. Though about Yuno and that girl Mimosa-san, are they going to be okay?"
Venta knew she'd be worried, so he assured her the best way he could do .
"I'm gonna go and follow them now, want to come with me? If anything happens, we'll be there, but this is going to be good experience for them to become even stronger. And don't worry about the village, it's perfectly well protected, I've set up some traps in case some people try to take advantage of us being here, and Klaus-sans pretty strong, so he's got the village covered."
As he spoke, he offered his hand towards her.
She took it, then they began floating up into the air, before taking off into the nights sky.
As he did, Venta watched as Klaus used his Magic to stop some incoming threats. He sensed the Mana difference between them, and how they were fighting, and concluded that Klaus wouldn't have anything to worry about when it came to then.
Yuno and Mimosa continued flying off together, and saw that Salim was still leaning against the tree that Lily/Venta threw him against.
When he saw Yuno, his eyes burned with the flames of hatred, turning his hands up towards her.
"You've really got the nerve, coming out here! How strong is your damn Sister huh?! Is she that powerful?!"
"What do you...never mind, you dare attack Sister Lily in such a manner. I knew you were cold, but that is downright plain evil, she is a good person, and I cannot allow you to get away with it."
Salim cupped his hands together, and formed what looked like a bolt of lightning in condensed form.
"You can't get away with this! I'll end you once and for all!"
Salim shot off a barrage of lightning, only for Yuno to move her hands, and create a whirlwind before her. The lightning went through the whirlwind, and reflected the attack right back towards him, as Yuno caused the winds to suddenly blast in Salim's way.
Salim jumped back, avoiding the blast, but Yuno didn't let him, using her broom, she fired herself across the area, going down towards Salim, but Salim placed his hands onto the trees, running his electricity through said trees, and caused a net of lightning to appear.
"Have that!"
Because of the speed she went, he presumed that she'd fly right into it and would be stopped all together.
Yuno didn't bat an eyelid, and in mid flight, she took off into the air, avoiding the large lightning net, and got above him, her hands cupping together as she formed a spear of wind.
Her hands aimed downwards, and she was ready to fire off the attack, when he suddenly shot off into the air. Lightning swirled around his hand, and when he got in close, he aimed a point blank range shot right for her face.
Only for Yuno to expertly dodge out of the way, using her winds to blast off from her broom, and got around the other side of her, her spear of wind still aimed towards him, and then he shot it off towards her as fast as she could do.
Salim turned, and created a wall of electricity, but the winds blasted harshly against the lightning, dispelling them all together, with Yuno getting before him, her hand grabbing his shirt, and she gathered winds around her palm.
"Have this."
Yuno sent her winds right for his body, blasting him down into the earth.
Salim spat out some blood as he smashed into the earth, his body feeling the pain transmitting through his entire body from such an attack.
"Have you had enough yet? Because I feel anger for you for what you tried to do to Sister Lily."
Yuno's words were trying to remain steady, but he found it difficult due to how he was as a person and what he tried to do to someone that he cared for.
Salim pulled himself to his feet, his eyes went right for the man with his rage building all the more.
"You don't get to speak to me like that, so buzz off!"
Lightning sprung from Salim, and came right for Yuno, but she avoided it easily, and gained winds around her palm. Spinning faster and faster, the winds caused the trees around to begin losing their leaves that's how intense the winds that Yuno had summoned was.
Before she could fire off her attack, another enemy appeared, and shot off mud for her in the form of a fist. Turning her hand, she ripped right through the mud with her winds, and then creates a small tornado before her, causing the mud to fly through it, then she aims her hands down, firing them off towards Salim who tried to attack when she was being attacked.
"Aaah!"
But it was to no avail as the mud slammed into Salim, stopping him fully for a few moments.
Mimosa looked on, seeing how well Yuno managed to do that and was impressed.
She was able to fight, and was able to be able to fight so well.
But then Salim clicked his fingers, and as he did, more Mage's appeared. Some that carried knives, and some that had some Magic swirling around their bodies, Salim stood back up, and he showed a dark expression on his face.
"Even if you are strong, you can't get by all of these people you know? More than that, even if you try, I'll already be gone. Even you can't chase me and fight at the same time, so goodbye Yuno, I'm going to be coming back stronger than ever before, and I'll kill everything you hold dear."
"All this, because you lost to me in a fight?"
Salim's eyes turned white with rage.
"Because you think you're better than I am! A peasant, better than me! And that damn Vice Captain, I wont be beaten by either of you again!"
"Because of your actions against Sister Lily, and others, you've chosen a path that wont lead to anything other than your defeat."
Salim didn't like that, as he pulled away.
He turned, and then fired himself off.
Yuno went to give chase, when she saw several Mage's get in her way.
"I don't have time..."
Before she could finish, plants came erupting out of the ground. Large thick plants swept through the area, and shot off the Mage's blocking her path, as Mimosa came hovering next to her, showing that she had a smile on her face.
"There's only a few here, I can do this."
Yuno looked at Mimosa, seeing that she had a willingness to do this, and confidence that she could, and because Salim was getting away, they didn't have a choice, so she nodded, and took off after Salim to stop him.
Once she left, Mimosa faced those that were around her, seeing the Mage's all readying their attacks. She saw fire, ice, winds, and snow being drawn towards her, so she pulled back, and thought about what would be best.
She tried to recall how Venta would do it, what he'd be able to do in this kind of fight.
As she did, Venta and Lily arrived, with them remaining in the background to make sure that Mimosa knew that she could do this on her own.
"Haaaah!"
One Mage shot off some fire, so she dodged with her broom, only to see the ice Mage firing off shards of ice for her, so she created a wall of plants before her, but they were sliced apart by the wind user, and then the snow Mage caused a giant hand to come up to grab the young girls body.
Gasping, Mimosa pulled back, as the ice shards flew by her body, which she managed to block with a whip of her plants coming from behind her body, then she sent them towards the Mage's, but the fire Mage came up, creating a tornado of flames that stopped the attack all together.
But then the fire Mage jumped up with his fists engulfed in flames, and came swinging at her, only for Mimosa to create a wall. But even then, the plants were being burned through as it began to snow around her, causing her body to suddenly feel both hot and cold at the same time from the double assaults.
"Haaah!"
The wind Mage sent very finely controlled wind blades that cut through her barrier, as the ice warrior covers his arm in ice sword, and swung for Mimosa's body.
Her eyes widened when he got in close, with her defenses being destroyed, she looked worried she's receive such an attack.
The closer they got, the more worried she got.
Venta raised his hand, and was ready to stop the ice Mage…
But then stopped when he saw Mimosa taking in a deep breath.
"It's okay...Venta-kun taught you to fight...it's alright, I've got this. Even if they're so close...I can do this."
As the ice came up to slice through her, she pushed Mana through her legs, and she rocketed herself forward. Surprising the ice Mage, she slammed both of her arms into his upper body, as she released a large plant up close and personal, sending him flying down to the ground, due to the big sword, it couldn't be moved in time to fight her off.
Propelling him away, Mimosa commanded her broom back to her via her plant, and then took off into the air, watching as the ice Mage smashed deep into the earth.
Venta smiled at the sight.
"Good work Mimosa-san, you recognized the weakness in that technique, and that was speed. You got this Mimosa-san, I know that you have."
Mimosa looked between them, wondering what she could do.
Lily glanced at Venta who didn't say anything.
"Can she do it? Does she have the spells?"
Venta furrowed his brows.
"She does, she just needs to release it. When she wants to protect good people, whether she knows them or not, she's such a gentle girl that's really beautiful both inside and out, so she can release her power to fight back."
Lily looked towards Venta, and adopted a smile.
"You have a lot of confidence in her."
"I do, I've gotten to know her, she is someone that truly is a royal that I can get behind. Such a kind hearted girl."
"Yes, I can see what you mean. She really is nice."
Lily expressed as Venta and she watched what was going to happen.
Mimosa thought of what to do.
But only one choice came to her, she knew what she was going to do next.
"Venta-kun...you've taught me a lot, how to fight, how to use my Magic in many different ways. More than that, you've also assisted Noelle-san and I've seen how kind and compassionate you are, yet so strong at the same time. Nobles and royals tend to see that not being able to harmonize, but I think power and kindness can overlap. Please keep watching, I'll be able to fight beside you, we can work together...I'll become even stronger!"
Mimosa calmed her heart, as her grimoire began flying through pages.
Stopping on a new page, Mimosa directed her hand downwards towards the Mage's in question.
"Plant Magic, Magic Cannon Flower!"
Using her spell, a large plant grew up from the ground. Growing higher and higher above the trees, it had a large amount of petals at the front of the flower, which began opening. As it did, smaller petals swished around the giant plant.
From the opened petals, some kind of energy began to gather. More and more, the energy formed at the head of the flower, before she took aim with her spell, and she allowed her Mana to fire off in the direction of the Mage's.
Unleashing the energy, the Mage's were shocked as the beam came at all of them.
They laughed and went to make a move, when suddenly plants erupted from the ground, wrapping fully around them and bound their movements while Venta showed a strong smile on his face.
"She even planned that far ahead, you really are amazing Mimosa-san."
Venta didn't share his thoughts, but was proud as Mimosa finished off her opponents, disabling them all with the incredible blast of energy.
Once she finished them off, Venta and Lily floated to the side of her.
"Mimosa-san."
Mimosa gasped, turning to Venta with saucer like eyes.
"V-Venta-kun! Y-You're also here! I can't believe it!"
"I'm glad that you're here as well, Mimosa-san. I saw it all, quite smart to bind them beforehand, and then fire off that cannon of yours. I knew you had it in you Mimosa-san."
Mimosa poked her fingers together shyly, her eyes dancing towards Venta as she did so.
"T-Thank you Venta-kun...I'm glad that I...could do it."
Venta lightly smiled, as he reached out his hand.
She did the same thing, and held his hand tightly.
"Well done Mimosa-san." Bringing her in close, she laid her head on his shoulder, and adopted a soft smile on her face. "Lets go and see how Yuno-san is, okay?"
She didn't have a complaint about that, and together, they rocketed off to where Yuno was.
Yuno managed to catch up to Salim pretty quickly, he didn't get very far before he was stopped with a sudden gust of wind strong enough to break down a tree close to him, which blocked his path, so his eyes turned back towards her.
His hands lit up with electricity.
"You couldn't have defeated them so quickly!"
"Maybe not, but I did have the ability to rely on my comrades, and that's enough for me."
"The Plant Mage!? She isn't going to be able to defeat them!"
"You underestimate my comrade, no my friend."
Salim scoffed.
"What would you need a friend for? They only get in the way, all you need is yourself, and your wealth. But you wouldn't know anything about that, would you? Considering that you couldn't ever do anything to me in the first place."
Yuno looked perplexed.
She recalled their fights, and she recalled it way differently than how Salim was doing it.
"Erm...haven't you seen that I have beaten you not once, but twice now in a fight?"
Salim's eyes whited over with rage.
"You shut your damn mouth!"
Yuno looked slightly surprised by his aggressive turns.
"I am not going to keep quiet, as I am going to have to take you in."
Salim looked angry.
His face was distorting more and more as the rage he felt was overtaking him fully.
"Tch, you can try, but I've gained more power." As he said it, he pulled out a syringe with a strange liquid inside. "This is going to grant me the power to do anything I want. Which includes defeating you!"
Piercing his skin with the needle, he injects himself with the power, while Venta, Mimosa and Lily arrive. They watch from a distance in the air, as Salim's power surges through him. Lightning mixed into the ground, creating an area that looked as if it was going to break through everything that was around.
"So you've gained more power, I remember seeing this once. You've fell to work with such a group."
"Shut up!"
As he said it, he discharges a bolt of lightning that was half the side of a large tree around them, and twice as fast as he had been beforehand, but Yuno creates a whirlwind before her, a tornado that blocks off the attack.
But Salim doesn't stop, and rockets up into the air, where lightning forms many spheres around him.
"Lightning Magic, Salim's Bug Zapper!"
The generated spheres of lightning all rain down towards Yuno who gazes up, seeing how fast they moved.
So she took a step back, and within the air, she waved her hand.
"Wind Magic, Towering Tornado!"
Creating a whirlwind more powerful than the one she had previously done, the balls of lightning couldn't get through Yuno's defence, who used this as a chance to strike, placing her hand out, and creating a pressure of wind that built more and more in the palm of her hand, to the point that Yuno saw the wind that was bending around her beginning to crack stone around her form.
She then shot off the concentrated blast of wind, going right for Salim who scoffs at the sight. He gathers electricity before him, while in the air, his lightning forms a sword of electricity, which he recites a spell over, then swings it out before him, cutting Yuno's attack in half, shocking the young woman that he could do that when before he couldn't put up a fight.
"He's stronger than before, more than I thought he'd be Venta-kun."
Mimosa spoke with worry.
Venta looked between them, then bowed his head.
"Don't worry, it is going to be okay."
Mimosa hoped that would be the case.
With sword in hand, he brings it up, before firing it off for Yuno's form.
"Haha, you can have this! If it doesn't pierce you, it will explode on you!"
Yuno dodges back with a gust of wind, but as he said, it erupts with a mass of electricity, forcing Yuno to block with her winds.
But while doing that, Salim manages to close the distance, and come at Yuno with a swift blast towards her body, so she uses the winds to push his hand up in time, diverting the blast into the air, then she cups her hands, before ramming her hands into his torso, releasing the pressurized wind that she had built up.
His body smashed through a few trees, Yuno released a breath.
But to her surprise, Salim stood up, twitching his shoulders.
"That all you got?"
Yuno scrunches her brows.
"I have a good few tactics left up my sleeve."
"That's not good, because I'm going to end you right now!"
He then charges for Yuno, being faster than before. Yuno controls the winds around her, and rockets off into the air, but Salim's hand extends upwards, creating a stream of electricity that fired off in a large burst.
Yuno creates a shield of wind, however the attack from Salim's manages to break through and blasts Yuno back through the air, higher and higher into said air, while Venta blinks at the sight before him.
"Great, so he's joined those guys. Guess that scientist is the one that gave him the power up."
Venta murmurs as Yuno is approached by the speeding Salim. With speed that was more than before, his speed blitzed up into the air, and created a trail of electricity behind him as he tries to circulate the young woman.
Seeing her chance, she tried to cut it as she swings out her arms, creating thin waves of wind.
But it didn't stop as Salim suddenly causes all of the lightning that had circulated her to converge on her location to try and shock her out of existence with the increased momentum that the lightning had thanks to his ability to move.
Venta watched on, as Lily looked worried.
"Don't worry Sister, everything's going to be okay, believe in Yuno-san."
She could see Venta's confidence in Yuno, so she held the same on her face.
"Yes...I will believe in her, I know she can do this."
Venta nodded.
"She can, Salim might have powered up, but even with new power, it doesn't mean you suddenly have the experience to know how to use it. It can be overwhelming, I've seen it several times beforehand. And Yuno-sans smart, and skilled, she can overcome this fight."
She watched as Yuno created a dome of wind around herself, blocking all of the lightning, but it resulted in an explosion, Yuno's body was repelled even higher upwards as she looked down, seeing that Salim's now boosted power allowed him to create a giant arrow. Reciting a spell as he did so, the thunderous lightning converged together to create an arrow thicker than a tree, launching it right for Yuno.
"Why don't you have this!"
Yuno scowled as she saw how fast it was.
If she didn't make a move now, she could be pierced.
"Wind Magic, Crescent Kamitachi!"
Swinging out her arm, she releases a burst of wind in the shape of a half moon, which connected with Salim's attack, generating a shockwave that was able to blast a few good trees surrounding them away out of existence.
Venta used his Magic to negate the shockwave before it could reach him, and the girls, as they watched Salim shoot higher and higher into the air, his hand coating in electricity before he came at Yuno with a sharp punch.
However, Yuno noticed that Salim's movements were sloppy.
Even with the new power, his fist wasn't as confident as she had seen Venta's before.
How he fought, how he was able to fight against strong enemies with his physical strength, Salim simply wasn't accustomed to it, so it didn't take her much to shoot off into the air, and bombard him with numerous Crescent Kamitachi's.
"What the hell!? You've got so many!"
"I have been training Salim, I wont let you win against me."
Salim scowled as he tried to dodge with his new found speed.
But even then, the speed of the crescent wind blades was something that he hadn't expected and saw them coming for his form, so he tried to dispel them with his electrical discharge, but even taking down some, didn't take them all down.
"Haaaaaah!"
Despite the power, the crescent wind blasts slammed into his body and sent him flying down into the ground.
Smashing deep into the earth, he saw the ground becoming uprooted, so he ran his electricity through it, shocking them to the point that they were electrified completely, before he sent a jolt through the back of them, shooting them off like arrows for Yuno.
Yuno, retreating backwards, sent more crescent moon shaped arcs of wind out, cutting cleaning through the attacks, then causing them to be repelled right back, as she generated winds at the cut in half pieces of electrified rubble.
Venta watched and murmured "Nice." seeing how Yuno was using her own enemies attacks against her opponent, Salim hadn't expected it, so he created a wall of lightning before his body, which the rubble smashed against.
As it did, Yuno flew around Salim, with the winds gathering behind her, and all around her. Forming what seemed to be like daggers created of wind, Venta smiled and muttered "So she's learned even another spell, seems like she's quite determined." as he witnessed over twenty blades of wind appearing.
"Wind Creation Magic, Wind Blades Shower!"
Concentrating on Salim himself, the twenty blades of winds shot for him. All focusing in on him rather than simply going all over the area like they could have, Salim pushed lightning through his legs, and jetted off into the air, but Yuno controlled the winds, and sent the blades right for him as some pierced the place he was standing in.
Salim's eyes widened as he was suddenly attacked, but he didn't stop, and called upon his lightning.
"Lightning Creation Magic, Salim Lion Rupture!"
From his clasped hands out before him, a lion made of electricity was formed, and shot out for Yuno's blades, colliding into a devastatingly strong shockwave that began causing the ground to be broken away.
However, as it was happening before his eyes, Venta saw that Salim's grip on himself was failing.
He was stronger yes, but his grip on sanity seemed to not be up to the level that it usually was, and he could see it in the man's eyes that he was truly going through overload at this moment.
Yuno took advantage of the shockwave, shooting off up into the air, and created a trident out of wind, which she took aim with, firing it off into the still generating shockwave, which she used the winds to control, and concentrate the shockwave all the way towards the confident Salim.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaah!"
Salim was sent flying thanks to Yuno's attack.
Yuno then shot off like a jet, and got before Salim, her hand placed on his upper body, and she gathered the winds that she had.
"This is it."
Yuno released the concentrated burst of winds down, shattering the ground below Salim as he spat out blood from the impact.
Salim's eyes begin to close, as Yuno looks down at him.
The feeling of hatred.
The pain.
The anger.
Everything that he felt as she stared at him…
It was too much for him.
He hated her, but he didn't get to enact his revenge.
Once fully closed, Yuno exhales, as Venta and the others come to join him.
"Yuno-san, it seems that you've done it. Well done."
Venta praised, Yuno takes a glance at him, before adopting a small little smile on her lips.
"Yes, thank you. It seems while he powered up, I managed to gain victory. Though, what happens to him now?"
Venta smiles, as he twitches his neck left and right.
"Well, because of his actions, and I've got some proof of it as well, when he attacked Sister Lily here-" Lily waved. "-he'll be in for a world of trouble now. He thought he got off hard last time, I wouldn't be shocked if he was thrown in prison, he'll at least be detained for a good long while, his family will probably be feeling the burden of Salim's actions as well."
Yuno glances back at Salim, and exhales.
"All this, because he lost our fight."
"Even the most petty reasons can birth the greatest of angers. This isn't your fault or anyone's Yuno-san. This is the result of his own actions, he couldn't handle the fact that he wasn't able to beat you, and that only made him more and more angry."
Lily nodded in agreement.
"It is a shame that he allowed anger to cloud his judgement, but sometimes these things happen."
Mimosa nodded.
"I agree, such a shame that it happened...still, Venta-kun, this kind of test, did we pass it?"
Venta chortled towards the young girl.
Dancing his gaze between Yuno and Mimosa, he smiled with confidence.
"I can say with confidence, both you and Yuno-san pass the test, I'll be telling your Captain as well of what I witnessed. How you both handled the situation, the reliance you had on one another, the confidence in your abilities, and the strength of your hearts at the same time. All of it came together to show how strong and capable you both really are. And even Klaus-san, he stepped up as well, so to me, it seems that you're all on good paths to becoming very strong."
Yuno and Mimosa both looked pleased, with the latter doing a cheer, while the former just gave a smile.
Lily bent closer to Venta, and whispered.
"When should we tell them that we switched places?"
"Aah, they'll know eventually Sister. Until then, we can have some fun~"
Lily giggled, nodding a single time as they all stood over Salim's unconscious body.
Having managed to finish their mission, this mission was an outstanding success.
However, something new was on the horizon.
What it was…
These Mage's were about to find out.

So this chapter focused on the defeat of Salim, with Venta helping them out with some support. Salim tried to fight them, but Yuno overpowered him and was able to use her winds in some interesting ways. Mimosa also showed some of the fruits of her training, and managed to gain victory as well.
