Mimosa has shown quite some growth in the fighting department. Salim was quite angry and just said the first thing that came to his mind, even if it didn't make much sense. Yeah, Golden Dawn did quite well. Venta and Zenon might have an interaction or two. Maybe Zangred could be like that yeah. Thanks for the harem suggestions. I've got an idea for a nice moment with Noelle pretty soon. Yeah, they could do something like that.

With those reviews out of the way, it's time to start the chapter!
Nero's transformation
After Salim had been dealt with, along with the others, all of those that helped him had been bound, and returned to the village, to be taken away tomorrow, since it was rather late. When Salim noticed Lily looking at him, he began freaking out to unknown reasons for Yuno and Mimosa, with Venta fully understanding why Salim was.
As they walked through the village, Venta, Lily, Yuno, and Mimosa, the lone male saw that Klaus had managed to defend the village, and had taken down a fair few of the people trying to attack, with only some stragglers left.
"Seems like he did a good job." Venta commented as he saw Klaus summon some of his Magic, and rammed it against an incoming enemy. "Klaus-san has a good deal of potential."
Mimosa smiled.
"It sees that Klaus-san is beginning to respect you Venta-kun."
Venta gave a curious look as he saw Klaus looking towards him, and then giving a small nod, before getting back to work.
Yuno tilted her head.
"Well, it seems that this situation has wrapped up nicely."
"It has, so Yuno-san and Mimosa-san, go and get some rest, you deserve it after tonight. I'll deal with these stragglers."
Yuno and Mimosa both bowed and then walked off, with Lily following after them.
Venta then sped through the village, and single punched the enemies that were left, knocking them all out.
He then went towards Klaus.
"Klaus-san, it seems that you've done well, the village has been guarded expertly. Though I am not surprised, your Captain did tell me that you had a good head on your shoulders."
Klaus looked mildly surprised.
"M...My Captain said something like that?"
"He did. You can rest now, I'll deal with binding these guys. You've earned it after what I've seen from you today."
Klaus placed his hands together, before adopting a small smile.
"My first assessment of you, was wrong. I thought that because you were a Black Bull, you'd not have a standing with Golden Dawn, it seems that I'll have to think of that in the future."
"That's nice of you to say, it mustn't be easy to admit such things."
Klaus scratches his cheek.
"Perhaps not, but I can admit when I am wrong. And I was wrong, I couldn't see the merit in your methods beforehand, but now I can. Thanks to that, I could see my comrades did have the ability to fight, even someone like Yuno-san, who I thought was a commoner, was able to show such strength."
"Well I'm glad that you feel like that, I'm sure you and Yuno-san will be great comrades."
Klaus nodded, bowed, and walked off.
As he did, Nero popped out of Venta's hair.
"So what's going on?"
"Clean up, tomorrow when we get back, I'm going to go ahead with turning you back to your human form, even if for short amount of times, I've researched some more, so I'm ready if you are."
"I believe in you, so if you think we're ready to try, then we can do that."
Venta nodded with a small smile, as he continued to bind people.
As he did, Mimosa walked towards him, and placed her hands behind her back.
"Venta-kun."
Venta's eyes turned towards her.
"Yes?"
Mimosa held some redness on her face as she pulled closer.
"Today, I was able to show you my new spell, I worked hard to train and be able to fight."
"It was an amazing spell Mimosa-san, very strong. And your fight, you were rather smart in the heat of combat."
Mimosa blushed even more at the compliments, as she pulled even closer.
She then stood on her tiptoes, placing her lips on his cheek, catching him by surprise, as she blushed harder and harder.
"V-Venta-kun...I'll become even stronger...so we can fight, side by side."
"Fighting side by side with you, would be my honour Mimosa-san."
Mimosa's cheeks couldn't get anymore red as she giggled sweetly, and walked off once saying her goodbyes.
Venta placed his hand to where she kissed, adopted a small smile, before getting back to his work.
Sally had viewed what she had seen from Salim, and she wasn't entirely surprised that the outcome was that he lost.
She hadn't had much high hopes, but at least what she got out of it was research, which was something that was beginning to become even more perfect thanks to the data that she got from those that she had been able to give her booster power drug too.
Fana sat silently within the room, as Catherine was sat close by, drinking some tea as she recounted her 'grand adventure' regarding the time she and Venta had met one another, something that Fana didn't overly care for.
Sally however studied Fana, and each time Catherine spoke about Venta, she could see that Fana became a little calmer. She didn't show it much, but she looked less angry or annoyed whenever he came up.
"Ooh geez, I have been going on and on, now it's time for us to talk about you girls. So, Sally, when did you want to be with my adorable Venta-kun?"
Sally almost did a spit take.
But restrained that, and gave a simple stare.
"What do you mean? I haven't said anything like that."
"Only one who wishes for something so much would obsess over someone this much. So tell me, how did you come to know of Venta-kun? Was it the reason you joined the Eye of the Midnight Sun?"
"I joined so I could continue my research, but yes I did know of him before I joined the Eye of the Midnight Sun, he isn't the reason why I'm here, but he definitely is the incentive to stay as so many mysteries are around him, he himself is also a mystery. Hard to define it seems. His Magic, and other things as well, I'm always up for a mystery."
Fana's eyes shifted to Sally almost immediately, fires beginning to whirl around her fingertips.
"You knew of him before becoming a member? You kept that quiet."
The tone of her voice told Sally that Fana had taken sudden interest.
"We all have secrets, don't we Fana-chan?"
Sally playfully said.
Fana gave a hard stare to the challenging eyes that Sally was giving off.
"I don't know what you mean."
"Okay Fana-chan, though may I ask, why did you seem to react to the fact that I knew of Venta-kun before becoming a member here? Something on your mind perhaps?"
Fana didn't answer.
She stared and kept that up without even blinking.
Sally saw that she probably wasn't going to get the answers that she had desired, but it did help her out with the mystery that was before her eyes.
"It seems you're not in the answering mood. Well, I can always guess, it doesn't matter to me-"
"Maybe..." Catherine began, cutting Sally off, having a mischievous smile on her lips. "...just maybe, one of us should really go, and seduce him? You know, to bring him to the Eye of the Midnight Sun." Both Fana and Sally give a puzzled look as Catherine places her hands in front of her chest. "If there's no volunteers, then I'll do it, for the good of the group of course~"
"Of course."
Sally inserted, as Catherine waved a hand in front of her face, fanning herself.
"Aah, I haven't met a handsome cute man that is so sweet and tender before. When we stared into one another's eyes, a connection was formed. Stronger than anything I've felt before, his wonderful comment about me still rings in my mind, he sees beyond beautiful and looks into the souls of others, as I do as well. He is my one and only~"
Fana didn't like the sound of that, and flames began to circulate her, while Sally thought this was comedy gold and wanted to play around with it even more.
"But you're on opposite sides."
Sally laughed out, Catherine shot a glare for her.
"Opposite sides attract one another, Sally." Sally sweat drops while Fana stares on. "Besides I really like younger men, and he's certainly sweet on the eyes-"
"Witch..."
Catherine let out an "Eep!" when she saw Fana's eyes on her, while Sally stares at Fana, seeing that while having a near emotionless face, she kept up a hard stare for the young woman.
"A-Anyway! What about that Salim guy? A no go?"
Catherine tried to divert attention away from her and onto others, but it seemed that Fana still was staring at her, and Sally was the one to actually answer.
"He was merely someone that I used for some research, not sure why the Eye of the Midnight Sun wished for him. Care to comment Fana-chan?" Fana just stares at her, so Sally laughs awkwardly. "Guess not. Aah well, he's gone now, we can move onto bigger and brighter things! Like, Gravity Magic..."
Fana stares at Sally, who looks right back.
Fana wondered what Sally knew, and vice versa.
Catherine on the other hand felt the tension in the air, so she decided to split from this situation she had found herself in.
The next day, Venta and the others were preparing to head back towards their respective squads, the Black Bulls and the Golden Dawn, though Venta would be taking the people that the squad had captured to go and get some information out of them regarding what was going on.
Venta also knew now that thanks to the mission being over, he'd be able to finally do as he promised for Nero, and bring her back. He just had to set some time aside, and finish off the final preparations, which he didn't think would take all that long for him to do.
Even now, as he felt Nero casually resting her body on top of his head, he wondered what was going through her mind.
As they were saying their goodbyes, Lily was seeing them off. Though they hadn't told anyone about their little switch, it was fun to see how Salim reacted when he was in the presence of someone like Lily now thinking that she was super powerful.
"G-Get away Sister! Don't come any closer!"
Lily tilted her head as Salim stared into her eyes.
He felt like she truly was a powerhouse after 'Lily' had kicked him out of the village, and smashed his head into the ground. More than Yuno who had straight up beat him, someone that was supposed to be a Sister that didn't do much violence, at least that's what he thought, was right now showcasing how strong she truly could be.
"What's wrong Salim-san?"
Salim's eyes dyed the colour of fear as Lily gave an angelic smile.
In his mind, it was the total opposite, a monstrous look that showcased how wild and scary she truly could be.
"Back away please! You're too powerful!"
Yuno looked perplexed while Mimosa didn't know what was going on, she did find it funny that Salim was seemingly afraid of someone as kind as Lily. Klaus didn't get it either, it seemed that Lily had done something to truly frighten Salim, but for the life of him, he didn't exactly know what it was that she had done since she seemed really gentle.
Venta placed his hands together, suppressing a small smile on his face.
Lily gave a complex expression on her face.
"I'm too powerful?"
With fear staining his eyes, he directly speaks to Lily, seeing her as his biggest enemy at that moment in time due to what Venta did posing as the young woman.
"O-Of course! More than Yuno, and that damn Black Bull, you're the real threat! You defeated me in a single move! How did you get so strong and powerful?! You are a monster in the art of combat! You're too powerful for me! Please stay away from me! Don't come near me ever again! I'll change my ways! I'll do anything!"
Lily still looked perplexed, as Venta whispered in her ear.
She tilted her head, and nodded slowly, as she moved closer to Salim.
The colour drained from Salim's face, and he began shaking heavily.
"No! Back off!"
Lily got in close, and reached out her hand.
Salim let out a scream, so Lily pulled her hand back.
"Are you going to be good and tell Venta-kun and the others everything you know? Or, do I have to become involved?"
She said it in the nicest way possible, but to Salim, it felt like a huge threat all of a sudden.
"YES! I'LL DO ANYTHING YOU SAY! JUST BACK OFF!"
Lily pulls back, clapping her hands in front of her face cutely.
"Thank you for your cooperation. Please think about being good from now on, okay? It's best to help people than hurt them, you know?"
"Okay..."
Salim was left shaking violently as Yuno looked questioningly to Venta who laughed "I'll tell you later." which was quite fine for Yuno at that moment.
Lily then showed a soft smile.
"Then Yuno, it seems that you'll be going. Do take care in doing your duties for Golden Dawn and the Kingdom. Don't push yourself too hard, okay? Taking care of yourself is also important."
"Don't worry, I'll do my best, and rest when I can. I shall send money back when I next get paid as well."
Lily smiled at Yuno, seeing how more and more, she was growing into something amazing.
"That's very kind of you, and don't be afraid to visit whenever you wish, even if you're feeling a bit homesick."
"That's generous Sister, we'll be making a few preparations and then we'll be off."
Yuno nods, and begins to gather the things as did the others.
As Venta went to move, Lily pulled on his shirt, and saw her gesture towards the right, so he followed her, until they were around the side of the Church.
The young woman placed her hands elegantly before her.
"Venta-kun, thank you for being here, watching over Yuno, and how much Asta tells me, I'm sure you do the same for her as well."
"Haha, yeah, Asta-sans getting on fine, you don't have to worry about her. I'm sure you'll see her soon enough."
"Of course, that's why I'd like to ask you a favour. If you don't mind of course."
Venta had an idea of what she was going to ask, so he nodded for her to proceed.
"Anything Sister."
Lily bows her head and then followed by her body in a cute manner.
"Can I ask, will you still watch over them for me for a little while? Yuno and Asta...they're both strong willed, but I wouldn't want them to be in danger until they're stronger...I worry about them."
Venta really did like Lily, seeing how kind and compassionate she was, it was clear she truly was a good person.
"The love you have for them despite them not being your family, it really is a beautiful sight to see. It makes me think on how I feel about the Black Bulls. So don't worry about them Sister, I'll take care of them both, but I know they both have really great potential to be amazingly strong. I'm sure you'll see both of them really shine in the coming adventures they'll go on."
Lily adopted a soft smile, as she leaned up, and gently laid her lips on his cheek.
He was taken by surprise, but it felt tender with her gentle kiss.
"Thank you Venta-kun, you really are a gentle kind young man." Lily smiled out, but then she leaned forward. "Since you played it so well, have you ever thought about becoming a Sister?"
She joked with the young man, Venta shrugged with an equally playful attitude.
"Well, it was enough to fool Salim, maybe I could be a Sister Enforcer, going around the lands pretending to be Sister Lily, and scaring the bad guys as an innocent Sister, that probably suits me more. Plus if Salim is anything to go by, you'll probably gain a reputation as the Strongest Sister of the lands~"
Lily went into a fit of giggles as Venta openly laughed.
Lily really did appreciate how open Venta was as a person, and she knew he'd keep his word, so she wouldn't have to worry about Asta and Yuno, they were under great care.
Soon, they took off. Bidding goodbye to Lily and Hage in general, they all managed to get back to the Golden Dawn base. Venta had made sure the people they had captured were brought away, so he right now was speaking to William, the Captain of the Golden Dawn as he and Venta sat opposite one another in a beautifully decorated lounge like area.
Klaus saw how casual Venta was sat when facing the Captain, he seemed so calm that it was rather curious at the same time it was intriguing.
"It seems that they're friendly with one another."
Klaus noted as he, Yuno and Mimosa were stood near the doorway, peering inside.
Though Venta and William knew they were there, neither minded.
"Venta-kun told me that he and Captain William have sparred before, so they must be at least friends, right?"
Mimosa put her thoughts in, with Yuno folding her arms.
"Or maybe rivals."
Yuno noted, with Mimosa tilting her head.
"Rivals? Do you get that vibe?"
"Hmmm, I'm not sure. But it seems that the Captain seems happy with Venta-kun's presence, so perhaps they are friendly rivals, like how Asta and I are."
Klaus looked on, and wondered if that was the case.
If nothing else, it seemed William was genuinely enjoying the company of Venta and vice versa.
"So that's how it went, Salim showed his true colours right away."
"Pretty much yeah, he didn't do much subtly in his performance. It was pretty fun when he was being hysterical, he was so over the top that it was easy to see that it was clearly fake. True panic doesn't take the form of what he was showcasing. It was disingenuous I should say, the way he acted, and how it felt had no connection."
"I understand, he probably believed in his half baked plans. I am glad that he has been dealt with, and hopefully we'll gain some information out of him. Though by your eyes, I can see that the likelihood of that is going to be on the low end."
Venta shrugged.
"He didn't seem to be privy to much from what I could tell. Perhaps I'm wrong, but he feels more like a Pawn than anything else. Not entirely sure what the group that supported him motives were, though I can only assume it had to do with the drug that he had with him, perhaps they were seeing what effects it would have, or they're testing a new one out."
"Yes, with what we know of him, that would make the most sense, either of those scenarios I could see being the correct one. However, I also would like to thank you for taking care of those in my squad. Though it seemed to work out for the best, it could have gone another way since they're beginners."
"Aah, don't worry, they're really great. Even Klaus-san, it seems that he's quite talented, he managed to protect the village while Mimosa-san helped Yuno-san in getting to Salim, and both handled themselves very well. Speaking of talented, how is precious little brother doing?"
William adopts a small smile.
"I'm sure Langris would be annoyed to hear you call him that."
"Well, he'll get over it quick enough, he knows it's all in good fun. So, is he doing well? I'm sure Finral-san would like to know, even if Langris-san himself might not be receptive to the idea of him knowing."
"Yes, he's doing rather well. His attitude can be something hard to reign in at times, but he's a powerful member of Golden Dawn, and I can respect that."
"That's great to know, give him my regards."
"Of course. Yami as well, please give my regards."
Venta nods, as he sips on some tea.
William and Venta talk for a few more minutes, before the young man stands and begins to leave, after saying goodbye.
He walked by Mimosa and Yuno, offering a small smile.
"See you girls soon, and you as well Klaus-san, do your best, okay?"
"Yes, see you soon Venta-kun."
"Goodbye Venta-kun! Give Noelle-san my best, okay?"
"Vice Captain, thank you for the support during the mission, I learned much."
Yuno, Mimosa and Klaus said in turn, with Venta smiling.
"See you later, I'll tell Noelle-san Mimosa-san, and I'm glad you learned from me Klaus-san."
Venta bowed then walked off, leaving the pair with Klaus.
Klaus watched on, and wondered what else he could learn about Venta, he seemed to be different to how he thought he'd be. He didn't think he'd find someone from the Black Bulls that had such wisdom, and it made him think more of the possibilities that he could be going through.
When Venta finally returned back home from his mission, he walked into the base, only to suddenly be bombarded with...pretty much every member of the Black Bulls, save those that either weren't there or couldn't show themselves for reasons.
"FUTURE HUSBAND! WHAT DID YUNO DO WITH YOU!?"
"Venta-kun don't leave me alone with these people again!"
"Venta-kun, I've got a nice hot bath calling our names~ Come in with me, and maybe I'll give you a good treat if you're a good boy~ Even if you're bad, I'll still give you the treat~"
"Oh, Venta, you're back. I'm glad to see you again my Vice Captain."
"Aah Venta-kun, lets go and hit a local bar, I've heard some cute girls are there~"
"Venta-kun! Fight me immediately!"
"No, he's fighting me Luck!"
"La, my Prince, I've made food for us to have in a romantic setting~"
"Venta-kuuuuuuuun! I'm glad you're back!"
"Vice Captain best friend, you are back, I have made this, do you like it?"
"As long as you didn't go near Marie then I'm fine..."
Speaking in turn was Asta who rushed him and jumped into his arms, hugging him tightly, Noelle hid behind him as she looked towards Luck and Magna specifically, it seemed that they had scared her, or annoyed her, he couldn't tell by the face she had on.
Vanessa was giving a sultry wink while in a pose that showcased her body for his eyes only. Yami was wringing his hands together with a glint in his eyes, as Finral flashed an elegant smile on his face, and gave a two finger flick from his forehead in a semi small wave towards him.
Luck and Magna themselves looked ready to have a fight with Venta with lightning and fire dancing around the pair of them respectably, Charmy was showcasing a cute smile as she held out a tray of food.
Grey, in her large man with smoke around him form, kept trying to hug him/hide behind him, seemingly forgetting that she was in such a form and felt nervous for yelling what she did, as Gordon presented a creepy looking picture of him and Venta together.
Finally Gauche was still looking at a picture of his sister, but seemed to be happy that Venta was back.
Venta took in all of the information, then exhaled.
"Okay, one at a time please."
Yami took this time to move closer, and hold out his hand.
"Venta, my Vice Captain, one of my favourite people in the entire world, the man that I shall always stand beside, and say that without a shadow of a doubt, that we are always going to be connected through-"
"Here's some money."
Venta pulled out a bag of money with a dead pan expression on his face, Yami grinned and did a thumbs up.
"I always knew I could count on you. Best Vice Captain ever by the way. Now it's time for my revenge against sleepy head, and Prickly Queen haha. Oh yeah, nice to see you back, we even got a star thanks to you!"
Yami left the base, leaving Venta as the highest authority around.
Magna and Luck, with a fire bat, and lightning claws respectably, charged for Venta at the same time.
"Fight us!"
"Yes, come on Vice Captain, we've missed like a day of fighting already!"
Venta cracked his knuckles.
"Alright boys. Lets do this."
""Yeah! Lets go Vice Captain!""
Venta decreased the gravity around him, making him as light as a feather so his speed was increased tremendously, and then shot forward all the while holding Asta with one arm to his body.
His speed being something that Magna couldn't see, Luck could see it coming, but by the time he saw Venta behind him, he already received a repulsive force blast of gravity up close and personal, blasting the pair out of the base as they let out a collective "Aaaaaah!" scream, and disappeared far into the woods.
"Noelle-san, did that clear your problem?"
Noelle nodded.
"Very much so, they kept challenging me to a fight and saying that because I'm a royal that they wanted to test my power, it seems that they have been satisfied now. I'm glad, it was getting troublesome."
"Wonderful, so next is..." His eyes went to Finral, who did a salute. "I'm a little busy for a while, but I did receive some of these flowers you can have."
Venta pulls out some flowers that he got from Mimosa as a gift and though he kept most for himself, he gave some to Finral, Finral's eyes light up, and takes them happily.
"Awesome, with these, I'll pull a date yet~ Thanks Vice Captain~"
Finral seemed happy enough and ran off, while Venta turned to Gordon, accepting the picture, and looked at it, seeing how the two in the picture basically looked like skeletons, igniting worry within Venta himself, but he kept up his smile.
"That's very nice of you Gordon-san, I'll put this in my room."
"Please do, I really am happy you've returned."
"Thank you."
Gordon showcased his happy, but highly creepy that scared Noelle. He then smiled, and walked off.
Venta then saw Gauche's eyes on him, so he sighed.
"Something on your mind Gauche-san?"
"Nothing, but Marie is a precious Angel. And don't think you get to marry her now, even if she wants to marry you."
"Right okay..."
Venta sweat dropped, and watched as he scurried off, as Asta still in his arms, hugged him tightly.
"Future husband! Yuno didn't do anything weird, did she? She didn't try and marry you did she?"
"No, she didn't ask to marry me, we did have a bath together though."
Both Asta and Noelle did a spit take at the same time, as Venta noticed Grey moving around to behind him and coming in closer and closer.
"Eeeeeeeeeeeh! A-A bath together!? Naked?!"
"Well, I was yeah. They walked in on me."
"They?!"
Noelle yelled this time, Venta nodding.
"Yeah, Mimosa-san and Yuno-san."
Asta's face dropped, and then blushed brightly while Noelle's eyebrow began twitching.
"We should have a naked bath too!"
Noelle did a spit take as Asta said that, Vanessa snickered while Venta shrugged.
"Yeah, I don't mind." Noelle was shocked even more that Venta agreed. "Ooh yeah, we met up with Sister Lily-san, and she sends her love to you. Same with Mimosa-san for you Noelle-san, you'll be happy to know she completed her first mission with flying colours."
Noelle was thankful for that, while Asta seemed forever excited about what was going on.
"Sister Lily! How is she?! Has she decided to marry you too?!"
"Well, not yet. But, we did become closer. She's really cool huh. And apparently, don't get on the bad side of a Sister, Salim learned that the hard way~"
Venta lightly laughed.
Asta pumped her arm a single time.
"Yes! First become closer, then it is marriage between you, me and Sister Lily!"
Venta chortled while his eyes drifted to Grey, so he lightly patted her head, in her large male form, which looked rather unusual for those that didn't know about Grey.
"Don't worry, I'm back now."
"I-I'm glad, I really missed you!"
"I missed you too~"
Grey gave a timid smile, while Vanessa ran her tongue hotly across her bottom lip, gesturing him closer with the tiniest movements of her neck, a sultry look on her face, showing how Vanessa really did wish to have some alone time.
He smiled, and moved towards her, but detoured at Charmy.
"Charmy-chan, do you mind if I eat this in the bath?"
"Nope, I'll join!"
"Me too!"
Asta yelled, while Noelle blushed at the thought of going into a bath with Venta.
Vanessa giggled "The more the merrier~" as she wrapped her arms around Venta's right arm, and began dragging him off, Asta happily followed along with Charmy. Grey wished to do, but she felt shy in front of the others, and Noelle ground her teeth, wishing that she could, but also felt shy about doing it as well.
As they did, a few moments later, Nebra came shooting around the corner, and looked to be drenched in sweat.
Noelle gasped, and murmured "Big sister..." only for Nebra's eyes to shoot across the room.
"Is darling back?! Has he returned?!"
"Aha, well yeah, but he's gone for a bath..."
Nebra adopts a small smile.
"A bath you say...that's perfect for me. Alone in the bath together, anything could happen really. A little hug here, a little kiss there, and that could lead to...magical times between us." Nebra casually walks towards her little sister, her face being rather red at her own thoughts of what could happen between Venta and herself. "Are you coming Noelle?"
Shaking her head very fast, Noelle held her hands up in denial.
"N-Nooo! I couldn't! Venta-kun would be there! Naked! H-He would be without clothes, his bare chest, and his lower body as well!"
Noelle was red in the face, Nebra was too, but unlike Noelle who seemed nervous, Nebra seemed excited.
"Yes, that's exactly why you should. Remember Noelle, when you want something, you have to go after it at full force. There's no time for second guessing...n-not that I have any particular desires to have a commoner as my lover, but I do like the idea of how different it is, it is like forbidden fruit."
"A-Are you the fruit? Or is he the fruit?"
"Not sure, I heard that's the right way to describe this so I'll get back to you on that. Though haven't you read the royal girl that falls for a commoner and vice versa? It is a love story told through the ages, now darling and I are going to be the latest additions to such things...wait, no I don't even love him! Noelle! Don't repeat what I said to anyone!"
Noelle sweat dropped, and merely nodded.
Nebra fixed her face so it gave a casual look as if she didn't care one way or the other.
Then she runs off.
A small time later, Nebra begins walking towards the boys side of the baths. She could hear the girls being rather rowdy, but she didn't hear Venta's voice, so she presumed he was alone on the boys side.
Wearing a towel that showcased the slenderness of her body, the curves of her hips, the shape of her bosom as well as the beauty of her face, she wore her hair up into a ponytail as she walked closer and closer towards the bathroom, through a small hallway.
As she got there, she braced herself.
She pushed her breasts up, making her look even more seductive.
"Okay, I'm ready to go. Now it's time to seduce my Venta-kun. My precious boy who's waiting only for me to appear. I'm sure that he's been missing my tender touch and my cuddling prowess as well."
Nebra thought, and with a wiggle of her hips, moving at just the right speed to make her appear both seductive and innocent at the same time, she walked into the males baths.
Going inside, she held a shy look on her face, seeing one figure under the water, so she coughs into her hand.
"My darling, it seems that we've crossed paths in these baths. I decided to get away from the loudness of the girls side, and here you are, all alone...I thought that maybe, we could share a bath, and I could even wash your broad back for you..."
She stopped when she saw someone come out of the water.
Not the someone she wanted it to be either.
It was Gordon, who stared at her blankly.
Nebra went pale, her face dropped from innocent seductive to frightened and afraid of what to do next and she herself on the inside felt nervous as Gordon showcased his smile to her.
"Best royal mist friend, would you like me to wash your back?"
Nebra was as white as a ghost.
She couldn't move.
But then she began shaking more and more.
Then she let out her anger.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH! WHY CAN'T I CATCH A BREAK?!"
Gordon tilts his head as Nebra adopts teary eyes.
On the other side of the bath meanwhile, Charmy swam by Venta who rested his back on the edge, Charmy wore a small towel around her, Asta also was swimming around and trying to complete with Charmy, Nero was floating in the water with her head facing the ceiling, while Vanessa seductively wraps her arms around Venta's upper body, pushing her ample chest against him as he ate the food that was behind him that Charmy had made for him.
"La, my Prince, are you enjoying the food?"
"You're an amazing cook Charmy-chan, spectacular as always~"
"I'm happy, my Prince."
Venta smiled at the small girl, as Vanessa kisses him a single time on the cheek, drawing the ire of Charmy.
"What's wrong Charmy-chan?"
"La...my Prince, don't seduce my Prince."
"My, it seems that you're not happy right now. But that's the idea of the bath with the opposite gender."
Charmy growled.
Vanessa laughed at the sight, finding it really cute that she was being like that.
But she then turned to Venta, and placed a few of her soft fingers upon his cheek.
"It seems these girls don't know what it means to have a bath with their beloved. The intimate settings, how beneath the towel, anything could really happen. Like right now, there's only a small piece of cloth..." Vanessa's hand ran itself up Venta's thigh, and rests on his right hand side, with the towel around his hips being caressed with her fingers. "...separating me and you from truly becoming something more than mere squad mates. Don't you want to explore that more Venta-kun? I've thought about it many times."
As she did that, Venta's cheeks began to turn red at the innuendo that Vanessa was clearly giving, while Nero gave a scornful look, and slashed some water at her with a swipe of her wing, causing Vanessa to cough.
Shaking her head, Vanessa glares at Nero who does the same thing right back.
"I'm sure there's something about that bird, every time I try and become close, she somehow tries to stop it."
"N-Nah, you're just reading into it."
Vanessa wasn't so sure, while Nero made it clear she was staring right at Vanessa.
"Regardless, Venta-kun. Right now, isn't it a setting that is perfect for showing love to one another?"
He couldn't respond, feeling the tenderness of her tongue, and the alluring look in her eyes.
All in all, it told Venta how much passion that was coming from Vanessa at this point in time.
"That's why when we get the chance, we can have these two leave, so it is only just us."
"They're enjoying themselves though."
Vanessa waved her hand as she drew small circles on his inner thigh, something that Nero notices.
"Aah, but when you come to the bath with the opposite gender, it is expected that some grade A flirting is about to happen." Vanessa's lips casually captured Venta's own, caressing his bottom lip with her tongue as Asta pauses, and her face turns bright red. "Like this Venta-kun~"
Asta stares towards Vanessa with some complex emotions on her face.
"Future husband! Big sis Vanessa is also a candidate for future wife?!"
Before Venta could answer, he pauses when he feels Nebra closing in on their location...but she suddenly goes by them and goes towards the boys bath, intriguing him into wondering why she was doing that all of a sudden.
In the meantime, Vanessa shows a small grin as she perches her head on Venta's shoulder.
"That's right Asta-chan. Venta-kun and I have been together for a long time now. We have become accustomed to one another's bodies, and how affectionate we can display to one another to the point that I simply can't control the feelings inside of me sometimes."
"Ooh my! I didn't know it was that serious!" Asta shoots for Vanessa and holds her hands tightly. "Wanna become sisters then?! We can marry Venta-kun and live together, and even have a huge family together! My dream is to also become the Wizard Queen with Venta-kun as my Wizard King!"
"Well, I'm not sure that's how it entirely works, but that's a nice dream to have. But a family huh? Well, that wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to have. I'm sure by how Venta-kun takes care of the Black Bulls, that he'd be a wonderful Father."
Listening to that made Venta lightly smile, it was kind for her to say such things.
Asta nods again and again with her arms crossed underneath her bust, pushing them up for Venta's eyes to witness, even if Asta didn't realize she was in fact doing such things.
"Thanks big sis Vanessa! Together, we'll become the best wives!"
Vanessa shows a small smile.
"Ooh, that does sound interesting Asta-chan, I like that more and more. Hey, do you know how to seduce the object of your affection?"
Nero glared as Asta gave an innocent head tilt.
"Seduce Venta-kun?"
"Yes, here I'll show-"
[AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH! WHY CAN'T I CATCH A BREAK?!]
They all jumped, besides Venta, who's eyes begin glancing towards the other baths, the giant wall being in the way.
"Hey, that was Nebra-chan..."
Vanessa began, with Asta gasping.
"Big sis Nebra went to the wrong baths! Big sis Nebra! Over here! Venta-kun's with us over here! Come and join us!"
Asta yells out, with Charmy taking a glance at Venta, before she turned red and murmured "My Prince~" becoming happy that he was smiling at her.
No sooner than Asta yelled, a disheveled Nebra came walking through the doors to the baths.
She looked on the verge of tears, Venta felt sorry for her as she walked closer.
"Darling...I saw...I saw a darkness...a darkness like no other...I'm...I'm done darling, I'm so done...I can't deal with it...Gordon-san...his scary faces...darling, he wants to wash my back...and I thought it was you...but it wasn't you, and the real you was over here where I thought you wasn't...it's too much darling."
"Nebra-san..."
Nebra lets out a cute cry as she moves closer.
Sliding into the water, she stretches out her arms indicating she wished to hug.
She looked so vulnerable to Venta's eyes, and because she had been through what she'd consider a huge ordeal, he didn't want to deny her, so Venta did the same thing, opening his arms for her.
"Come here Nebra-san."
"Darling, you recognize my pain and wish to comfort me..."
She took full advantage, and pulled herself very close, pushing her large chest against his bare naked one, with Vanessa looking on with a small scowl on her lips at the sight that was before her, Asta didn't look too happy, while Charmy gave off a cute scowl, Nero shook her head again and again.
"She's crafty...a dangerous one to be sure."
"Big sis Nebra as well...uuh, it seems that I'll have to try even harder to marry Venta-kun first..."
"As long as she doesn't steal my lap, I'm good."
"...Venta...I need my human form back to protect you from girls such as these."
Vanessa, Asta, Charmy and Nero all thought in tandem.
Nebra then pulls back, and peers into his eyes, before she leans forward to go in for the kiss.
But as she does, she slips in the water, aod ends up kissing his neck instead, Venta shivers at the touch, a good kind of shiver, feeling the softness of her lips, he bends his neck down and lightly kisses her cheek.
When he did…
Her mind was blown to new possibilities.
"Darlings lips...so powerful...so manly...yet so tender and gentle at the same time...my darlings lips..."
Her face burned bright red, and she ended up falling backwards into the water, her hazy eyes followed by an expression of bliss.
"Happily slain with a kiss. Your lips are a powerful weapon Venta-kun."
Vanessa laughs while he glances at her with a raised eyebrow.
But then shakes his head, and enjoys the rest of the time with the girls in the baths together.
Finally, the time had come. After doing the extensive research that had taken sometime, the nights sky twinkled with many stars that scattered across the sky, he brought out the two Magic Stone's, and placed them down on both sides of Nero's body.
They were outside, in case the power of the Magic Stone's caused some negative effects. Venta didn't want to have to worry them, and he also knew that Nero didn't want to either.
"Alright Nero, I guess this is the time to do it. Nervous?"
"No, I'm completely calm."
"You must have a good deal of trust in me to do this Nero."
"I've always trusted you."
Venta felt quite honoured to hear that from her.
She said it without hesitation, she said it while looking straight at him, telling him how much she truly did believe in him.
"You have huh?"
"Yes, I have. So please do what you think is best. I believe in your capabilities."
Venta smiled, and began preparing the Magic spell for it.
Allowing Mana to swim all around, Venta directed his hands towards the Magic Stones, and began using their power to fuel the spell. Nero could see that the spell was causing the area to become dense with much Mana.
More than normally possible within the area they were in.
It was thick, she could feel it across her feathery body.
"Okay then, I'll begin. Be ready Nero, it might feel a bit weird and it might take a few moments to kick in...but please don't worry. I'll take care of you."
"I understand. I have complete faith in you."
Venta gave a gentle smile towards the bird.
"Thanks...then I wont let you down, and soon, you'll be back to being able to walk with me."
"Yes, lets begin."
Venta allowed his Magic to begin pulsating around her, and going into her as he activated the spell.
Feeling the Magic shooting through her, she looked down at herself, and saw no change.
Nothing had happened.
She waited for a few moments, and still nothing had happened.
She looked back to Venta to see what he was thinking…
But as she did, something was changing.
She felt it deep inside, a change was occurring within her.
Her height was increasing more and more.
She was having to look up towards him at first, but she was growing more and more, to the point that her eyes stayed at chest level when she looked straight ahead at him, so she tilted her head up, meeting the gaze that Venta had.
"Venta...I..."
Venta smiled, as Nero looked down…
She had human hands, human feet again.
She saw her silky hair draping across her face.
The outfit that she had on the time that she had turned into a bird the first time.
She looked back towards Venta, who couldn't contain the smile on his face.
Nero had transformed into a girl that looked around Venta's age, and she's a short, slender woman with black hair in a bob style. Two locks of hair stick up from the top of her head. She has dark bags under her eyes. She's currently wearing a black dress with thin straps and a short, ruffled skirt that resembles feathers, and finally, she has two black horns on the sides of her head.
When she was close enough, he reaches out, and lightly brushes his fingers across the horns on top of her head.
"It seems that you'll have those horns on your head, weg as they're called, due to the overuse of Forbidden Magic. But you look so cute Nero-chan, I think it only adds to your cute appeal."
Nero reached up, and played with the small horns protruding from the top of her head.
She then turned her eyes back towards Venta who she moved closer and closer to.
"Venta...this is it...walking...I'm walking, I haven't done that in so long...it feels strange..."
"Nero-chan, you really are..."
Venta watched as Nero reached up, and allowed her arms to go around his form, so he returned the hug.
As she embraced him, her eyes went up and met with his own.
She peered at him, and she felt something bubbling up inside of her, coming more and more to the surface that she felt happiness entangling within her.
"All this time, I think this is one of the things I've missed about being human, I get to be held in your arms, and embraced..."
"Nero..."
He could hear the passion in her voice.
It was quite unusual for her to be like that.
But he definitely welcomed it.
"When like this, can you call me Secre?"
Venta didn't have a problem with that.
"Haha, I see. Then Secre-chan?"
"Yes?"
Venta's lips rose to the point that a beaming smile filled her eyes, and she became more happy as a result.
She didn't show it on her face, but her eyes displayed the happiness that she felt inside as she saw such a smile before her.
"Welcome back."
Secre's lips curled upwards.
She wasn't one for a smile.
But she did want to do it at that exact moment.
She smiled at him, and he did the same thing.
But then a small tinge of redness came to her cheeks.
"By the way...there was one other thing that I'd like to do. A request."
"A request huh? Sure, what is it?"
Secre moved closer to his face with her own, and caught his lips with her own, wasting no time.
Surprise came over him, but that was replaced with bliss soon enough as he returned her kiss, allowing his arms to support her as she floated in the air thanks to his Magic so they could fully enjoy the embrace of one another.
Such a kiss…
Blew Secre's mind.
All this time...and she could experience the simple joys of being in love.
Being able to express what she had deep within her.
When she broke apart, she took his hand and placed it on her face.
"Venta...I want to be by your side, as a different kind of partner….I've thought about it a lot, and I've decided for now, that's what I want to be. We've been partners for so long...now that I'm human again, I want to be partners in a different way. I've waited for a long time, I don't want to waste time anymore. Would you...want that?"
Venta had to be taken by surprise by such words.
He certainly hadn't expected that, along with what implications were with 'for now' meant that she truly did want even more than that.
But saw that she was serious.
Matching the seriousness, he bent down to her level, and casually kissed her cheek.
"Secre-chan….you are my partner, and if you want to be that kind of partner...then I'd love to be your partner."
"I'm glad...my Venta."
Venta smiled, and caught her lips once more, as they both began floating.
Higher and higher, Secre ended up in his arms being carried bridal style, as they shared their romantic moment.
As they kissed, Secre looked around, seeing the bright lights of the capital far away, and other parts of the Clover Kingdom.
Being able to enjoy them in the arms of the boy that she felt deeply for, Secre couldn't be more happy than she was at this moment.
When breaking apart, Venta took one of her hands, holding her with his other arm still bridal style. The wind swept through her hair, and being held in his arms, she felt secure, safe, and in that moment, the only thing that mattered was how they felt about the other.
"It only lasts for a short time, but you should be able to freely switch between forms, to conserve the power, and we can always top up the spells Mana cost to give you more freedom. I can certainly channel more power into the spell, and give you more time to work with."
Venta explained, Secre listened to what he said, and gave a gentle smile, something that she couldn't control. She wasn't accustomed to smiling this much, but in this moment, it felt like the right thing to do.
"I see, yes, that would be a good way to go about it. I don't mind waiting a little longer to fully be this self again. I can enjoy parts of it when I am with you intimately."
"And don't forget, we've still got a few more Magic Stones to get. We're partners in this, and even beyond this. As this will end, and you wouldn't have to worry about the past again, I promise you."
Secre showed the smallest of smiles, as she squeezed his hand.
"Yes, that's right. Lets end this once and for all, Venta."
"Yeah, we'll end this."
Secre couldn't contain the smile that was growling on her face.
Rarely did she show emotions, but right here, right now, she didn't want to ever stop showing them.
"Venta...thank you."
"You don't have to thank me."
Secre thought he'd say something like that.
"Maybe not...but I want to, because of the kindness you've shown me, the lengths you went for me...despite your own pain, everything you've gone through...you always came to help me when I needed you...you stayed by my side...you've done more for me than you'll ever truly know..."
"Secre-chan..."
"Venta...I'm glad...after so long, I can truly be beside you now. In this form..."
"I'm glad...I could turn you back."
"I never doubted you, you told me that you'd do it...and you did, I always have had trust in you. So now, are you going to find her? I know you've been searching, but never wanted to worry anyone else..."
"Secre-chan...yeah, that's how it is."
"If that's how it is, then I'll help you...we are partners, after all. That's what...partners do for each other."
"Heh...yes, we are, partners."
Venta and Secre's lips fully came together once more, as they passionately displayed what the other meant to them.
Never wanting to be without the other, they had worked hard for this, and now, they had some more stuff to do, but at least like this, Secre could finally be with the person that she had desired for a long time.

So this chapter was a more relaxing one after some of the fights, and had Nero finally become Secre! After Venta and Nero's time researching and working hard, they were able to turn her back at small intervals, allowing her to participate more. Along with that, Salim has developed a fear of Lily after 'she' beat him out of the village. It seems the Black Bulls are all quite excited that Venta returned, and after spending a little time with them, Nebra came in and managed to move her relationship forward.
