hello peoples, i am not dead.

I am sorry for not working on warhammer 40k stuff for a while, but recently a malaise regarding warhammer stuff. This is because of the new Warhammer+ streaming service and Games Workshop's subsequent ban on all fan animations. This put the series "If the Emperor Had a Text To Speech Device" or TTS on an indefinite hiatus. However, given the fact that Bruva Alfabusa revealed how the story arc ended i doubt it will be renewed anytime soon.

TTS is what got me into warhammer in the first place, and what is essentally its death put me in a funk. when i was planning this chapter, i had planned to repeat the robot's last words to add a poigncy to a hopeful statement of defiance. Those words, which summed up the state of the 40k galaxy are as follows (might be paraphrasing) "In the Grim Dark galaxy of the 42nd millennium, there can be no victor." I had planned to say a defiant phrase about this being the 21st century, and of how we can win.

But the more i thought about it I came to the realization that the present day is very grim and dark, no matter how you slice it. What with COVID, climate change and Trumpism, the world is in a very bad state. i still think we should fight agaisnt Games Workshop's new foolish policy, but it just dosent feel right to say it with a message of hope.

I will do my best to get my warhammer fics back to there (admittedly erratic) update schedules.
