Mineta tries flirting with...

Chapter eighteen: Psycho Tsundere

The audience that had been summoned to the theater room by the realmcrafter Talespinner69 had just finished watching the fourth bonus episode, seventeenth episode overall, of the realm where Mineta tries flirting/interacting with a different girl in every chapter. Although the base thirteen episodes did Mineta no favors, the bonus episodes thus far have, more or less, cut him a rather good deal all in all. All that remained at this point was the last bonus episode, and then this show would be done.

Clapping her hands together, Setsuna said, "Well now, I wonder who the last girl that Mineta will try to tango with will be."

Shrugging, Hizashi said, "The only girl who I can think of for Mineta to try to work his magic on would be Todoroki's sister Fuyumi."

"I'd rather Mineta not mess with my sister, thank you very much," Todoroki and Dabi both said in unison, causing the two of them to turn to look at one another and regard each other with looks of mildly interested surprise.

Gesturing to the big theater screen, Mineta said, "Well so long as the last episode does right by me, I won't care what girl it is, even if I don't get together with her. I'd be perfectly happy with an ending that's at least happy enough."

Turning to look at Izuku with a look of mild surprise on her face, Uraraka said, "Wow, Izuku. I never thought that I'd hear it out of Mineta that he wouldn't care if he was able to get together with a girl or not."

Shrugging, Izuku replied, "Well he has left a lot to be desired."

Turning to look at Kotaro, Tale said, "Hey man, is the last bonus episode ready to play?"

"It is, and let me just say that it's looking to be a good one," Kotaro replied as he turned on the big theater screen once the last bonus episode was ready to be played.

Everyone in the theater room turned front and center as the big theater screen booted up and was getting ready to play the last bonus episode. "Come on, give us a good one!" Mirko said, "Like Endeavor's daughter!"

"No," Todoroki and Dabi both said in unison.

"Mirko, just relax and let things run their course," Ryukyu said, "Besides, I'm pretty sure the last one won't be too out there anyway."

...

(Mineta tries flirting with Himoko Toga)

"Uh oh," Uraraka, Tsuyu, Izuku, Dabi, and Spinner all said in unison in the audience.

Pointing to the big theater screen, Mineta asked, "Isn't she the crazy villain girl who thinks that Uraraka and Tsuyu are her besties?"

"They are my besties!" Toga declared, "And your flirting is doomed to fail because I like Izu-kun!"

"That is not why we're worried about slash for him," Spinner pointed out.

One day over at UA, Aizawa, with Hizashi in room as well, was going over something with all of his students in class, that part of class being the last thing in the day before they were dismissed until tomorrow. "Now as I'm sure you kids are aware," began the underground hero, "The remnants of the League of Villains is not only still on the loose, but their numbers have been supplemented somewhat by recent additions, at least one of which is from the lot that had escaped from Tartarus recently."

Aizawa then put up pictures of all known notable persons in the LoV, among which were Dabi, Spinner, Toga, Mr. Compress, La Brava, Gentle Criminal, Skeptic, Kendo Rappa, and last but not least Nagant. Pointing to the pictures, Aizawa said, "Due to a number of recent take downs, arrests and even a few deaths against the villains, these nine are the only big names left that hero society has to worry about, as they form the core of the current incarnation of the LoV."

"Sweetness!" Spinner in the audience cheered, "We're the chosen ones!"

"I wasn't aware that Nagant is a villain," Gran Torino remarked in a mildly surprised tone.

Shrugging, Nagant replied, "Long story short, I turned on hero society becuse I felt that it had gotten way too corrupt."

Holding a hand to his chin, Stain said, "Hmm..."

Holding up a hand, Tokoyami asked, "Question. How will we deal with them?"

"Ideally, the pro heroes should be allowed to handle them, meaning if any of you encounter any of them in the field, turn tail and run," Aizawa replied, "But I know that some of you have certain personal connections to certain members of the lot I have up on the screen."

"Well yeah," Mineta said, "I think that one of them is Todoroki's older brother."

"If you kids see any of them and are able to avoid tango-ing with them," Hizashi said, "Please let a pro know and lead them to the villain, alright?" The students all nodded in agreement as the bell rang, with Aizawa dismissing them.

"Actually, yeah, I for real would make a similar call," Aizawa in the audience said, "It's better if the trained and experienced pros handle the villains."

"And you also acknowledged that some of the villains are personally connected to some of the students," Hizashi commented.

Folding his arms over his chest, Mineta said dryly, "Given that I'm going to do a dance with that Toga girl, I'm pretty sure that I won't be able to avoid her."

...

Later that evening, Mineta had to get permission to leave campus so he could do some shopping off campus because only one grocery store in town sold the snack he found himself in a sudden craving for, that being mazapán. "I should probably buy enough of the twelve pack boxes so everyone in class can try it and see why I like mazapán so much," Mineta remarked to himself aloud.

As Mineta turned a corner, he walked about a dozen feet on the sidewalk along a public park, when suddenly both La Brava and Nagant jumped out of a bush and blocked his path. "You're coming with us, UA student!" La Brava declared as she pointed right at Mineta.

"Holy crap, you're some of the villains that Aizawa-sensei warned me about!" Mineta said in an alarmed tone, "But what makes you th-" Mineta stopped short when Nagant held her right arm up so that her right hand was covering her right shoulder, letting her right elbow point at the short grape boy as her arm grew slash turned into a snpier rifle that was pointed right into the face of Mineta at point blank range.

"Holy shit, that's her quirk?!" Hizashi in the audience exclaimed.

Nodding in confirmation, Tale said from where he and Kotaro stood on the stage in front of the big theater screen, "Yeah, she's looking to be a fun one that I bet others of my kind are looking forward to making use of in the realms they craft."

"Holy shit your arm can turn into a gun!" Mineta exclaimed in fright at Nagant, then added as he addressed both women, "Look ladies, I'll play along so long as you don't sh-"

*HWABONK*

"-Tennis, anyone?" Mineta said in a dazed tone right after he was hit in the back of the head, right before falling to his knees and then falling over face down on the ground, clearly knocked out. Standing behind Mineta was Toga, who was holding a crowbar.

"Got 'em!" Toga cheered right before she, La Brava, and Nagant went about collecting the knocked out Mineta and spiriting him away.

Gesturing to the big theater screen, Mineta in the audience dryly said, "She hits me in the back of the head with a crowbar before she and the other lady villains kidnap me."

"Well seeing as though these ladies are all villains acting with their own agenda, I don't think we can compare their violence against you to the violence that the girls in your year of UA's hero course have dealt to you," Kotaro pointed out.

"The me in this realm did identify you as a UA student rather than by your name," La Brava added, "So I'm pretty sure your lewd nature had nothing to do with it."

...

When Mineta came to, he saw that a cloth sack was over his head, with only bits of light shining through. Mineta could also tell that he had been duct taped to a chair with his arms both bound. When he had come to, he could hear a male voice say, "Are you sure that you, La Brava, and Nagant got the right student, Toga?"

"Relax, Spinner," the voice of Toga replied, "We got a one in fifteen chance that the girls and I had grabbed the right student."

"One in fifteen?" the male voice, revealed to be Spinner's, repeated in a confused tone.

"To be honest, I can't tell most of the students in UA's class 1-A apart from one another," Toga's voice explained, "The only ones that I can correctly identify are Izu-kun, Ura-chan, Tsu-chan, Splody McBlasty, and Dabi's younger brother. I know this one here isn't any of those five, so that leaves the remaining fifteen. Thus, a one in fifteen chance."

"So the villains are trying to kidnap a specific student of Aizawa's," Sekijiro in the audience remarked, "But due to that Toga girl apparently not being able to tell most of Aizawa's students apart from one another, chances are that the villains had kidnapped Mineta without actually meaning to."

"And I'm questioning Toga over her apparent recklessness," Spinner commented, "Something that I would do for real if we did try to pull such a stunt and Toga had no idea who most of the class 1-A students were."

As Mineta was starting to grow worried, he heard a door open then close before someone walked up to him. He then felt someone grab the sack that was over his head before yanking it off, and as such he came face to face with Dabi, who was looking him right in the eyes. "Hey, you. You're finally awake."

"What do you guys want with me?" Mineta asked, "You're not planning to kill me, are you?"

"I hope like hell they aren't," Tale remarked dryly where he stood on the stage with Kotaro in front of the big theater screen.

Dabi offered a small smirk of amusement. "Oh no, on the contrary. We need you alive. You'll be far more valuable to us that way." Holding his hand under Mineta's chin to lift his head up a bit, Dabi added, "Momo Yaoyorozu."

Mineta, with a confused look on his face, said, "Momo Yaoyorozu? I'm Minoru Mineta."

Dabi, with a dry and unamused look on his face, let go of Mineta's chin, stood up straight, and turned to face Toga, regarding her with the same expression he regarded Mineta with when he told him who he was. "...I told you that I can't tell most of them apart from one another, Dabi!" Toga defended.

"The villains were trying to snatch Yaomomo!" Mina in the audience exclaimed as she pointed at the big theater screen.

Yaoyorozu, with a surprised and mildly confused look on her face, added, "But they got Mineta by mistake because Toga thought he was me due to her inability to tell most of us in class 1-A apart from one another."

Gesturing to the big theater screen, Mineta said, "I'm not sure what's worse, competent villains who know everything before carrying out a kidnapping, or incompetent villains who grab targets at random while hoping like hell they got the right person."

Sighing in a resigned tone, Dabi said, "Spinner, please go grab that quirk-suppressing collar that we got." Spinner nodded in agreement before turning and leaving the room. After Spinner was gone, Dabi turned to Mineta and said, "On behalf of the rest of the League, I would like to sincerely apologize to you for this mix-up."

Mineta, surprised that a villain was sincerely apologizing to him, said, "...Okay." Gently shaking his head, Mineta asked, "Wait. Why were you trying to kidnap Yaoyorozu? Because the last time you League of Villains guys tried to kidnap one of my classmates, it was Bakugo because you guys thought you could convince him to go villain and join you." Giving Dabi a suspicious look, Mineta asked, "You aren't thinking of trying to make Yaoyorozu go villain and join up with you guys, are you?"

"Pfft, hell no," Dabi replied with a dismissive wave of his hand, "That whole 'make Splody McBlasty go villain and join us' bit was all on Shigaraki." Gesturing to himself, Dabi explained, "We're trying to grab your classmate Yaoyorozu solely to hold hostage for ransom money. I mean we know Yaoyorozu is rich, so we figured we'd get a good ransom pay out of holding your rich classmate hostage."

"Yaoyorozu is basically nothing more than a paycheck to us," Toga added.

"Well gee, glad to know that," Yaoyorozu in the audience said in a sarcastic tone.

"Well these are villains we're talking about here," Izuku pointed out, "They'd do pretty much whatever, and they tend to typically not care about hurting others."

Shrugging his shoulders, Mineta said, "Well that makes some degree of sense as to why you'd want to hold Yaoyorozu hostage. I mean, she is pretty wealthy, and I've seen a lot of her-"

"Wait a minute," Toga began, interrupting Mineta in the process, "She? Her? You mean to tell me that Yaoyorozu is one of the girls?"

"You guys tried kidnapping Yaoyorozu without even knowing what gender she is?" Mineta asked in a tone that was more of dumbfounded surprise than anything else, "Also, how can you know that Yaoyorozu is wealthy but not know she's a girl?"

"To be fair," Dabi began to defend, "We are still trying to get things up and running with-" Dabi was cut off when Spinner entered the room again with a quirk-suppressing collar. "Ah, good," Dabi said as he took the collar from Spinner and placed it around Mineta's neck, then he freed Mineta from his bindings. "Come, I'll give you a tour of the place as I explain things to you on why we're doing what we're doing." Mineta, too confused by what all was going on, decided to follow Dabi nonetheless, with Toga and Spinner following along behind them.

"And now we're giving him a tour of the place," Spinner in the audience said.

Shrugging, Dabi replied, "Hey, man. Who knows how well it'll go?"

"A tour of a villain group's base of operations," Aizawa remarked, "Not something most people outside of villainy get a chance to have."

"I hope I won't get roughed up here too badly," Mineta commented.

...

To Mineta's surprise, the base that was being used by the League of Villains had a rather homey feel to it. He was led through a living room area, where he saw Rappa playing a dancing video game on the TV, and Skeptic was sitting at a nearby table that had a lot of money on it, looking like he was taking care of accounting. "So yeah, right now we're focused solely on trying to get more money," Dabi explained, "Our current budget consists pretty much solely of the money on the table over there with Skeptic."

"Which would explain why you guys are kidnapping rich kids to hold hostage for money," Mineta said.

"Actually, the rich classmate of yours is the first person we tried going after in this regard," Toga clarified, "Our current primary source of income is our business of growing, cultivating and selling pot."

Mineta, with a confused look on his face, said, "...Pot." The villains nodded in confirmation.

"Well any large group would reasonably need a source of income," Mineta in the audience said, "But pot?"

Shrugging, Dabi replied, "What can I say? Smoke weed everyday."

Mineta was led past a very large room in which was the setup for the growing of weed. Inside, Nagant was tending to some lights over the growing marijuana plants while Mr. Compress was carefully watering the plants. "We take our business here very seriously," Spinner explained, "And it's paid off since we're the top name in the weed game here in the country."

"Ooh, you know who I bet would love some weed?" Toga said, "Izu-kun. I bet it'll help him relax and let him let me be with him."

"Oh yeah, you like Midoriya," Mineta said. Gently shaking his head, the short grape boy said, "Toga, you have got to realize that things between you and Midoriya aren't going to work out at the rate you're currently trying at with trying to get him to like you."

"Aww, why not?" Toga asked, sounding like a mildly pouting child.

"Grape Head..." Bakugo in the audience began, "...Is going to give the villain girl dating advice. To help her get with Deku."

"Hey, I'm in the company of villains here," Mineta pointed out, "Trying to be friendly with them and give them advice to help them out is a smart plan if I want to live!"

Aizawa looked like he was about to speak up, but he stopped, then looked like he was contemplating something before he actually spoke up. "...That's a valid point."

Gesturing to Toga, Mineta said, "You're trying too hard." Toga looked mildly confused, so Mineta saw that he had to explain. "I helped a girl with a similar problem. It's good that you're trying to appeal to a guy. Guys like it when a girl tries appealing to them. But it can make a guy feel overwhelmed if the girl tries too hard."

"...So I should take a step back and let Izu-kun relax," Toga said, "Then try again but don't be too forceful about it?"

"That's the idea," Mineta said as the group was approached by Gentle Criminal, who was carrying what looked like a gift basket.

"A gift basket?" Sekijiro in the audience said in a confused tone.

Shrugging, Gentle Criminal said, "Hey, I'm just as lost as you are."

"Our regulars are looking to get a few more ounces," Gentle Criminal explained, "I figure we can just hand the young man here off to them in the process."

Nodding in acknowledgement, Dabi said, "Thanks." Turning to face Mineta, Dabi said, "We'll have to blindfold you since you can't know where our base here is located, but we will lead you to safety before handing you off to one of our regular customers in an undisclosed location."

Gesturing to the basket that Gentle Criminal held, Spinner added, "And as further apology, we're sending you off with this charming gift basket."

"Oh," Mineta said, looking mildly confused, "Thanks."

Folding his arms over his chest, Aizawa in the audience said, "The villains are giving Mineta a charming gift basket as part of their apology for kidnapping him without meaning to."

"They are nothing if not courteous," Hizashi commented.

"They're growing pot and were aiming to kidnap Yaoyorozu," Power Loader pointed out.

Shrugging, Sekijiro said, "If the way they're handling Mineta here is any indication, at the very least we wouldn't have to worry about Yaoyorozu being kidnapped in this realm."

...

Mineta was blindfolded before being led out of the base that the villains were using. After what seemed like ages without being able to see at all, Dabi, Spinner, and Toga drove to a part of town and led Mineta into an alleyway as Toga took the quirk suppressing collar off. "Okay, we're with some of our regulars," Dabi said to Mineta, "Spinner is selling them some weed as we speak. I'll take the blindfold off now."

Mineta then felt the blindfold taken off, and when he was able to see again, to his surprise he saw Spinner selling weed to, of all people, Inko Midoriya, Mitsuki Bakugo, and Rei Todoroki.

"OUR MOMS SMOKE WEED?!" Bakugo in the audience exclaimed. Similarly, Izuku and even Todoroki looked surprised, as did both Inko and Mitsuki.

"My...my wife does drugs..." Endeavor said, looking shocked.

Seeing the women, Mineta said, "Hey, aren't you three ladies Mrs. Midoriya, Mrs. Bakugo, and Mrs. Todoroki?"

"Oh yeah, you're one of Katsuki's classmates at UA," Mitsuki replied casually.

"Ma'am, you do realize that these are some of the very same villains who had kidnapped your son from the training camp a while ago," Mineta began pointing out, "Right?"

Shrugging, Mitsuki replied, "Yes, but I have come to terms with that. It helps that they're the best suppliers of weed in Japan."

"Okay, I wouldn't consider buying weed period," Mitsuki in the audience said, "Especially from villains, and especially from some of the very villains who had been involved in the kidnapping of my son."

"I can think of a good reason why my mom would want me to sell her some weed," Dabi said, with Todoroki, after looking like he was thinking about it for a moment, nodding in agreement.

"It's surprisingly effective at reducing stress," Inko began pointing out, "In fact, the reduced stress has helped me to some extent as I'm down two kilograms since I started joining Mitsuki for her weed runs."

"And I'm just a mom trying to help support her son's growing business," Rei explained, "Also, the weed helps with dealing with my husband."

Nodding in agreement, Dabi said as he handed Mineta off to the ladies, "Well you know us, we're always open." Toga gave the charming gift basket to Mineta, then the villains took off. As such, Mineta ended up following the moms of some of his classmates out of the alleyway.

...

Later, Mineta was dropped off at UA, with the time being close to night. Upon arriving, he was greeted by Aizawa and Hizashi. "And where were you?" Aizawa asked.

"Believe it or not, but I was kidnapped by villains who thought I was Yaoyorozu," Mineta explained, "They let me go after learning of the mistake, and even gave me this charming gift basket." He held up the gift basket as proof.

"It does sound too weird to be made up on the spot," Aizawa in the audience spoke up.

Hizashi nodded agreement before saying, "Yeah, and he did present proof."

The teachers took the gift basket and looked through it, before Aizawa saw something and pulled it out, revealing it to be a bag of weed. "They included drugs," Aizawa said dryly.

"Well Todoroki's villain older brother and his fellow villains are in the business of growing weed to sell for money," Mineta pointed out. He then proceeded to tell the entirety of the story to his teachers, with no detail sparred.

"Yeah, blind-folding you was a smart move on their part," Hizashi said, "Now we can't locate them."

"I'm also curious as to how Midoriya, Bakugo, and Todoroki will all respond to hearing that their respective mothers apparently do weed," Aizawa added, "But given who Todoroki's mom has for a husband, I can't exactly blame her."

The senseis then asked Mineta to come with them so he can help them with filling out an incident report, as well as confiscate the weed that was in Mineta's gift basket. They allowed everything else, though. All in all, Mineta would have to say that being kidnapped and held by villains temporarily was one of the more pleasant experiences of his life thus far. Weird.

FIN

"You know it really says something when someone thinks being kidnapped and held by villains was a pleasant experience," Mineta said after the big theater screen turned off.

"Well they were sincerely apologetic about grabbing you when they meant to grab Yaoyorozu," Mina pointed out, "And they treated you surprisingly okay."

"You also gave me advice on how to get Izu-kun to be more comfortable around me," Toga added, "That was really sweet."

Breathing a relaxed sigh, Tale said, "Well either way, the show is done. I can put you guys back in limbo until I summon you back for one of the other shows." With a snap of his fingers, the entire audience poofed away. Kotaro nodded to Tale before being poofed away himself.

With nothing keeping him there, Tale took his leave, the show having finished.

Author's notes;

And that wraps up this story. Mineta helps Toga a bit, and the villains after realizing they made a mistake try sincerely to make it up to Mineta, letting him get off on a high note. I had a few extra details planned but I had to cut them, partly for time, and partly because I think it would have been going too far.

Anyway, I'll look to get cracking on either Entreri Gaiden or Heroic Figures next, try to polish off one of those two. Take care.
