Unfortunately, some stories-like Hostile Takeover-just leave you in a spot where you're unable to continue. I've got a few ideas for this story; however, I'm not really motivated to hash it all out at this time. Things like this happen frequently, especially in creative outlets like writing fictional stories.
I'm not abandoning the story; however, it will be put on hiatus until I find the motivation to continue writing it. I refuse to release subpar content for the sake of releasing content. I'd much rather take my time and focus on writing something that I'm enjoying writing. When I'm enjoying myself when I'm writing it, you'll enjoy it as you read it.
With that being said, I do have plans to finish this story in the future. All of my notes, ideas, etc are saved in my document dedicated to it for future reference for when I do have ideas more suited for this story. I want this to serve as a reminder to anyone who's having a hard time finishing something they started: Starting the thing is the easy part. But it's normal and okay if we find ourselves burnt out on that specific idea/project before we've really even started. Unless it's homework. Always finish your homework, kids!
