During an investigation of the disappearances of a prominent Senator's daughter and two of her friends, Don and most of his team vanish, leaving Colby and Charlie behind to pick up the pieces with Alan's help and also try to determine why Amita and Robin have also vanished in the same way. (Takes place three years after the series).

1. Chapter 1

Prologue

16 year old Eveyln "Evie" Romero and her friends, Sasha Benedict and Kaylie Monroe were hiking and the young girl had the strangest feeling that she was being watched. She wondered if it had anything to do with her father's work but she quickly dismissed it, as he wasn't involved with anything high profile at the moment.

'I mean, Dad hasn't received any threats lately, and nothing has been directed at me for months, so I think I am safe with my friends.' She thought to herself, even though both her parents have always told her to be careful.

Those feelings were soon ignored when she and her friends reached the top of the cliff and were ever in awe of the sight they were looking at.

'I always love seeing sights like this.' She thought to herself when she heard a strange sound coming from the back."

"Did anybody else hear that?" Sasha asked

"Yeah, think it's a deer?" Kaylie asked, a little nervous but trying to be brave for her friends

"Maybe, let's get going and maybe whatever it is, it won't follow us." Evie said, thinking moving was the best strategy, at the moment.

The group continued on the path, but they all had a strange feeling that they were being watched and Evie wondered if she should call someone or not.

Before the girls could do anything, several masked men grabbed the girls, knocking them out, and were taken to a waiting vehicle, and vanished long before anyone realized anything was wrong or what was happening.

It was only the beginning of the nightmare for everyone involved.
