The portal placed the Slayer into the middle of the hotel's lobby. The Slayer looked around for the other demons who inhabited the hotel, but they weren't there. He figured they all would return soon, since the Seraphim told him to come here. The Slayer then decided to go to his assigned room. After a short walk he opened the door to his room and closed it behind him. He placed his super shotgun on a nearby table in the room. While he was walking throughout the room he saw a glimpse of himself in the mirror. He slowly walked over to see his face. The first thing he noticed was his eyes. They seemed to be glowing red as the Argent energy was fully flowing through him. When the Slayer's onslaught reached a certain point, he seemed to lose himself in the anger. Like he was going berserk. He shut his eyes tight and gripped his fists before opening them back up to see the glow had gone. His eyes had returned to normal. The Slayer stood there for a moment deciding on what to do next. He then began to summon all of his weapons. Each one was laid out across the room as he would spend this time carefully examining each one. It was clear a war was coming, so why not give them the proper tune up.
(One Hour later)
As the Slayer still found himself working, he started to hear more and more voices from outside of his room. He then looked at a nearby clock to see that one hour had passed since he started working. He found that surprising because it didn't feel that long. The Slayer recollected all of his weapons before leaving his room. He began to make the walk back to the main lobby. When he came close enough he saw everyone was inside the main lobby, followed by the Seraphim.
"Musclesssss you've been here the whole time?" Angel said, as the Slayer fully entered the lobby.
"Yeah man, we've been wondering where you have been," Cherri said.
"You friend Samuel...I mean the Seraphim has spent the time explaining everything to us," Vaggie said.
"Yeah, like what the fuck, that A.I. is apparently god or sum shit," Husk said trying to wrap his head around it.
"I did not expect that," Charlie said.
"Neither did I," Alastor said.
"Husky, we know that A.I. has a name," Angel said.
"Yeah, whatever. VEGA is god or sum shit," Husk said.
"Of the Slayer's universe," Lucifer said correcting Husk.
"Look I'm probably going to forget this tomorrow so does it really matter that you are correcting me?" Husk asked.
"Fair enough," Lucifer said.
"I know this has all been a lot. But this is a very serious matter," said the Seraphim.
"We are very aware of that Sammy," Angel said.
"Um, Angel, do you really think we should call him that?" Charlie asked.
"I mean I like calling him Sam, or Samuel or Hayden rather than the Seraphim," Angel said.
"But that was just his old alias. It is not his real title," Lilith said.
"Yeah, he is a heavenly being, we should respect his name," Charlie said.
"Oh okay, I'm getting ganged up by the angel family," Angel said folding his arms.
"They are not ganging up on you. It's just common decency," Vaggie said.
"Really, we are in fucking hell and yer trying to explain common decency?" Angel remarked.
"Shouldn't we just ask what he wants?" Nifty suggested.
"I would rather you refer to me by my title. But my true name is Samur, so calling me by my old name isn't far off. I do not mind it," said the Seraphim.
"Ha, bitch," Angel said giving Vaggie a middle finger, which pissed her off.
"So, going back to the main topic. Are there any questions you all have for me?" asked the Seraphim.
"I don't know. You and VEGA told us a lot about these things," Cherri said.
"You have spoken highly of this Dark Lord. I must ask, what does he look like?" Alastor asked.
"It is a pretty easy description. The Dark Lord looks exactly like the Slayer," Samur said pointing at the Slayer.
"Hold on, what?" Lucifer said.
"It is true, I do not know if you all have seen the Slayer without his helmet, but the Dark Lord has the same body and facial features," the Seraphim explained.
"It ain't like it matters. You said you saw this guy up in heaven. So you can piece it together," Husk said towards Lucifer.
"Oh don't you worry, we have seen him without it," Angel said with a grin.
"You have?" Lucifer asked.
"Oh yeah, we eventually found a time where he didn't have the damn thing on," Angel said.
"Basically they barged into his room and caught him with it off," Vaggie said.
"That is not true," Nifty said.
"Yeah, big guy, say nothing if that statement is bullshit," Angel said with a big ass grin.
"Angel can you stop with that," Vaggie said with a face palm.
"Why should I? He will basically agree with everything I say," Angel said.
"Yeah we know. We are surprised he hasn't killed you yet," Husk said.
"Me and him are fucking solid. You would never kill me would ya?" Angel said.
The Slayer looked at Angel. He actually fully extended his doom blade from his wrist while looking at Angel. It made Angel's grin fade from his face as he did not expect that response. Once Angel looked scared enough, the Slayer retracted it. It caused quite the collection of laughs in the room.
"No fucking way, he just made a joke," Husk said.
"That was a good one big guy," Vaggie said as she really enjoyed that.
"Doomguy what the fuck man? You made me think you were bout to cut my head off or something," Angel said.
"Can't handle a joke Angel?" Vaggie asked, while still laughing.
"Hey that shit is different, when you got a guy who never talks and always looks like he wants to kill you, I don't know what to think," Angel said.
"Well, you all seem acquainted enough to where I can take my leave," the Seraphim said.
"Where are you going?" Lilith asked.
"I will be going back and forth between heaven and hell. I will be returning at a later time," said the Seraphim.
"Are we expecting anyone else?" Lucifer asked looking towards the door.
"No. Everyone who is suppose to be here, IS here. I do not know who that could be," said the Seraphim.
"I'll get the door," Nifty said as she was the closest. She opened the door and they could all see a shocked look on her face as she closed it.
"Is something wrong Nifty?" Charlie asked.
"No miss Charlie. There are just a ton of news people out there," Nifty said.
"News people?" Charlie said as she walked towards the door and opened it. And Nifty was right, a bunch of demons holding cameras and microphones were stationed outside the hotel. Once they saw the princess they immediately started bombarding her with questions.
"PRINCESS CHARLIE, PRINCESS CHARLIE, WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THE EVENTS THAT JUST TRANSPIRED?'
"IS THIS A NEW SCHEME BY HEAVEN TO LOWER THE POPULATION?"
"DO YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THESE CREATURES?"
"IS YOUR FATHER PLANNING SOMETHING?"
"DO YOU KNOW ANYTHING MORE ABOUT THE ANGEL KILLER?"
Charlie couldn't begin to form a response as she was being asked many questions. All she could respond with was a collection of um's and uh's.
"QUIET!" Lucifer yelled as he walked next to his daughter. The demons were a bit surprised as they did not expect to see him here. But they still shut up as he could easily kill them all if he wanted too. "There, now that we are silent. We could move forward in a more CIVIL manner."
"Sorry lord Lucifer. But all of hell wants answers," one of the reporters said.
"Yeah, we haven't gotten any for so long. Now we were all attacked by a bunch of gross creatures," another said.
"I figured as much. But all of you barking questions at once won't get them answered will it?" Lucifer said. Most of them all shook their heads no. "I thought so. So if you do want answers, you can ask ONE at a time."
"Alright. Before we start, may we come in?" one of them asked.
"No," Lucifer immediately said.
"No wait, dad! We should let them come in. They will be able to show everyone how the hotel looks," Charlie said, pleading her case.
"That is not what they're even here for Charlie," Lucifer said folding his arms. He didn't believe it was their business to know what was going on inside the hotel.
"It may not be, but it's still a step in the right direction," Charlie said.
Lucifer let out a sigh before speaking, "Fine." He then pushed open the door and walked back into the hotel. Charlie followed with glee as she led everyone in.
"Woah, what the hell is this?" Angel said as him as well as the others inside the hotel watched all of the demons come inside the hotel.
"This may be the easiest way to make them leave," Lucifer said going back by Lilith.
"Is that Angel Dust?" One of the reporters asked.
"The one and only," Angel said striking a pose.
"Cherri bomb, you're here too?" another said.
"Indeed I am bitch," Cherri said.
They all stopped in their tracks as the Slayer came into view. He came to a halt in front of all of them and gave them his angry glare.
"Holy shit. A-And him?"
"It's the AK!"
"I've been trying to find him."
"He's very big up close."
"You're rolling right?"
Some of them began to talk with one another, while others were very intimidated by the Slayer's presence.
"You can stop calling him the fucking AK. He goes by the Slayer," Angel said. He did not want to mention the name Doomguy to them as he felt like that should be kept among themselves.
"The Slayer huh," one of the reporters said as he looked back at the Slayer who still glared them down. "uh it's a great name...very fitting," he said as he didn't want to piss the Slayer off.
"So this is where he has been. We've all been trying desperately to find him. A inside scoop with him would top the charts," one said.
"Ha! Good luck with that shit," Husk said with a short laugh.
"What's so funny?" one reporter asked.
"He doesn't talk. Like at all," Vaggie responded.
"What do you mean he doesn't talk?" another asked, as something like that was unheard of.
"She basically said it all. The guy never talks. LIKE ever. Never even heard him make a noise," Cherri said.
"How the fuck is that possible?" one asked.
"How does he even communicate then?" another one asked.
"He kills shit. The man only knows anger. You piss him off and ya dead," Angel said.
"Yeah that's right, he killed off the Three V's," said by one of the camera men.
"Hey wait a minute. If he kills everything, how come you are still alive? Didn't you two have a fight?" a reporter asked, clearly directing that too Lucifer.
"It's a long damn story. And a very complicated one too," Lucifer said.
"You can't even share a little with us?" one of them asked.
"Look I will make everything come to sense here in a minute. You all are still here for answers right?" Lucifer asked.
"I mean yeah, but now we have a lot more questions," said one of the reporters.
"Ya, we want answers about the Ang- I mean the Slayer," one of the demons said almost calling him the Angel Killer again.
"Well what do you want to know about him?" Charlie asked.
"First off. Who is he? And where does he come from?" One of the reporters asked holding a mic up to Charlie. The rest of them aimed their cameras at her and also at the Slayer.
"Well he is in fact a human. And this may seem a little hard to believe, but he comes from a whole new world. A different dimension than ours. It has a earth, heaven and hell like our world does. But a little different," Charlie began.
"A different dimension?"
"I didn't think that was possible,"
"So how is it different?"
"It is different because the version of hell in that world looks nothing like this one. It is full of those creatures that just attacked," Lucifer said.
"So, you're saying that he brought those things to our hell?" One of the reporters asked, which then started another commotion.
"No, that is not what my dad is saying at all," Charlie said.
"But he shows up and then they do, it seems linked together," said by another reporter.
Once again the reporters started to ask multiple questions at once and it began to get disruptive once again.
"Aw fuck, this is what I was afraid of," Angel said, as he was talking among the others.
"These rumors have been going on for months now, you'd think they'd give it up," Husk said.
"These dumbshits never do. The media always likes to stir shit up," Cherri said.
"I personally do not care for these news stations," Alastor said.
The Slayer was getting quite annoyed by all of this. To silence them all, he reached behind his back and pulled out his combat shotgun. He then grabbed underneath the barrel and cocked it as loud as he could. Like he expected, it worked to shut them up.
"No, no, Mr. Slayer. It's okay. You don't need to kill anyone," Charlie said making sure he didn't cause a bloodbath.
"But what is wrong with sending a message?" Alastor said with a smile.
"Because they are inside of the hotel. That is why," Vaggie said.
"That is a shame," Alastor said.
"I'm pretty sure you were all warned before about stepping out of line," Lucifer said.
"I do believe they were warned," Lilith said.
"So this is your last chance to get answers. Do that again and I won't stop him," Lucifer said with a stern look this time.
All of them looked at one another to make sure they didn't speak over one another. They began to calm themselves down and coordinate their questions.
"Okay. So then what is the story about these things?" a reporter asked.
"To make it as simple as possible. In his dimension. These creatures are the demons of hell. They have invaded every world in his dimension and have killed billions of people. He has spent his entire life fighting off those things to keep people alive. And that is why he is here. We will need him if all of our worlds are to survive. Those demons will come again, this time in greater numbers," Lucifer said.
"Yeah, so you assholes need to stop blaming him for your problems," Angel said.
"Exactly, he will be the one to save your sorry asses," Cherri said as well.
This caused them to talk amongst each other for a moment as this was things that they did not expect to hear.
"So he is not here to take over hell?" one reporter asked.
"No, he is not," Charlie said.
"Believe me I thought that too. But I know his true intentions now," Lucifer said.
"Which are?" asked a reporter.
"To fuck shit up," Angel said.
"Well this is very interesting stuff," one of them said.
"If I may ask, why has the Slayer been staying here? Or what is his relationship with all of you?" asked a reporter.
"We're his friends," Nifty said proudly.
"You are?" he asked.
"Supposedly," Husk said.
"Husk we are his friends!" Nifty said.
"That's surprising to hear," one of the camera said.
"Why is that?" Nifty asked.
"Well, no offense, but this guy doesn't seem like a very approachable person. Like the Radio Demon," he explained.
"Oh believe me, he isn't," Angel said.
"Then how can you claim he is your friend? You said he doesn't talk, how can you know?" One of the reporters asked.
"Because if he were truly sick of us, he wouldn't bother staying around, now would he?" Angel said.
"I mean, I guess not," He responded.
"This is starting to get really off track now. How about you all ask IMPORTANT questions before I lose my patience," Lucifer said.
"Okay. Well what is the true story about those other demons then?" The reporter asked.
"There is only one true story. This is about to be an all out war upon hell, earth, and heaven too. I've learned a lot about these things in the last week and they are not to be taken lightly. This will be worse than any Extermination. You all need to arm up with whatever you have, prepare for a fight," Lucifer stopped before looking at the Slayer. "The Slayer has been killing these things for a long time. He is on our side. So whatever bullshit rumor has been said over his time here, throw it in the trash."
Immora
Jophiel looked around to the place he was brought. He looked up at the dark and gloomy sky as nothing but thunder and lighting rippled throughout.
"Quite the place," Jophiel said to himself.
He walked across a platform and reached the edge where he had a great view of the entire city. Large buildings towered over the city. Of course as many would suspect, the main city of hell had a common color scheme of red. He looked up and saw many vessels flying throughout the air.
"Very impressive," Jophiel said as he got lost in the sight. But he heard something behind him.
"INTRUDER," yelled a demonic trooper. Jophiel examined the trooper as he wore an entire suit of red armor. He was holding a golden weapon which had the combination of an axe and a spear. Jophiel then saw as more and more guards ran up to him and held their weapons at his body. He saw that some were holding a gun of some sort and keeping their distance. Jophiel didn't seem worried, as he knew he was allowed here.
"Who are you, how did you get past the walls," the trooper asked.
"All of you can calm yourselves. I am not a threat. My name is Jophiel, I am here to speak with the Dark Lord," Jophiel said.
"Jophiel?" One of the troopers said. He said it like the name sounded familar.
"You are Jophiel?" Another asked as he began to lower his weapon.
"I am. You say that like you know me," Jophiel said.
"We do know you. Our master spoke of you. You are the one who brought our leader back to us," the trooper said, which caused the rest to all put down their weapons.
"I did. I wish to speak with him," Jophiel said.
"Of course. Allow us to take you to him," the trooper said. The other troopers backed away and allowed them to walk through. The head trooper began to walk and Jophiel followed. Jophiel looked around him to see that two other troopers were walking beside him too. After walking for about a minute, the head trooper came to a halt. Jophiel stopped as well and looked confused as they were still out in the open. But he saw as a ship was coming down to them. It actually had the look of a upside down cross. Although Jophiel didn't believe that was the true intention. As he hovered near the edge, two circular doors opened and he was led inside. He sat down in the middle and the guards made their way next to him. Jophiel could feel the ship taking flight from the inside.
"So. You are from that new world our lord spoke to us about," one of the troopers spoke.
"That is correct. I am an angel from heaven," Jophiel said.
"Yes, that's right. Well you are probably unaware of what you did. All of us. We have been guarding this place for billions of years. Just waiting for our leader to return. And you, an angel, brought him back," the trooper explained.
"Yes. He told me of the good he would bring to our world. He would fix all of our problems," Jophiel said.
"He will indeed. Right there, is what happens when others try to run things for themselves. People need his leadership, his guidance on how to live," a different troop said.
Jophiel gave them a slight nod and went quiet. He wanted to make sure he discussed everything he has just learned with the Dark Lord. The ride took around a few minutes for them to reach the lair of the Dark Lord. He felt as the ship slowed down and came back to a stop. The two circular doors opened and the troopers went out first. Jophiel eventually followed as a giant set of mechanical doors were in front of him. The troopers instructed him to follow so he did. There were two guards who were standing in front of the doors. The head demonic trooper quietly spoke to them as they were confused as to why he was allowed in. They gave a nod and moved out of the way. The three troopers brought him all the way to the final doors.
"He will be inside these doors," he spoke to Jophiel.
"Thank you," Jophiel said walking through the doors.
He looked back as the doors closed behind him. The room was very open and had a window type opening at the top where a bright light would pierce through. As he walked more and more into the room. He spotted the Dark Lord sitting atop his throne. He seemed to be in a concentrated state, as both of his eyes were shut. His throne was in a very elevated part of the room and Jophiel didn't see an easy way to access it. So he sprouted his wings and flew up to him. He gracefully landed in front of him which caused the Dark Lord to eventually open his eyes.
"I hope I am not interrupting anything," Jophiel said with a grin.
"No. No you are not," the Dark Lord answered. "I must say, this is very unexpected."
"It truly is. But I have some things I needed to talk to you about," Jophiel said.
"And what would that be?" The Dark Lord asked.
"Well after you left, a lot of truth was answered. About who you truly are and who my father truly is as well. And they spoke highly about this Slayer," Jophiel began.
"I imagine they would have," the Dark Lord said.
"They said how the Slayer's fate is the thing that will decide whether they win or not," Jophiel said.
The Dark Lord got up from his throne and paced around the room. "That statement is true. The Slayer is and has always been the one true threat. For eons my armies have tried to kill him, but to no avail. He is the one man who will stand in our way," the Dark Lord said.
"So once he has been killed. You can move forward?" Jophiel asked for clarification.
"Yes. You said you wanted a better world, well, he will keep you from it," the Dark Lord said.
"Well in that case, I guess I must get him out of our way," Jophiel declared.
"Oh? You will fight the Slayer?" The Dark Lord asked.
"I will. He can die can't he?" Jophiel said.
"Yes," responded the Dark Lord.
"Then I will take care of it," Jophiel said.
"That is good to hear. I will give you access to whatever you need to accomplish this goal," the Dark Lord said as he began to walk towards a different direction. Jophiel was curious as to where he was going and followed him. The Dark Lord walked up to a giant sheet, which was clearly covering something big. The Dark Lord grabbed it with one hand and yanked it off the now visible suit of armor.
"Woah, what is this," Jophiel asked.
"As was said, after my betrayal, a lot of my power was stolen form me. While I am still strong, I do not have the power I once did. This is just an advantage."
