Darker Than Black Extra OST – Disillusion.

A/N: An electro tune to accompany a disturbing tale that took place under the cover of night.

When the night falls, the group started their operation under the veil of darkness and it started with a riot in a secluded and abandoned chain of warehouses in district 10 as a lone berserker with a slim frame just tore through a big group of armed Skillout member who armed themselves with a newly acquired firearms that caused them to think that they are invincible.

One thing that they fatally missed was the very fact that the Blue haired boy who tore their formation apart has done this for so long and had specialized himself in fights with this kind of condition, a fight where the ones involved are arrogant because they gained a vain sense of power, a fight where the ones he fought were inexperienced in handling and using said power.

Even Though it was impossible for him to dodge a bullet he could predict the possible reaction time of someone who's holding a gun because he could bring the pain through brutal takedowns as long as he could predict the trajectory of the gun's barrel.

The enemies are also likely to hide and scurry away and break their strategies if they thought that they are being put in an disadvantaged position, that's why Pierce makes sure that his takedown attacks are as brutal as it can be to deter their will to fight. So the face being smashed and flattened against walls, floors, fists, kicks and each other was a conscious and strategic move.

For ones who claim that they revel in chaos and anarchy, The skillout faction showed primal fear towards the lone figure who raided them in their own stronghold as they were all too familiar with the hooded boy who seemed to have a deathwish at first glance, but many started to realizes the gravity of the problem as he started to tear through their ranks by using a dated pistol and incapacitate some of their member who's carrying a fresh set of firearms that he commandeered for his own use.

That was the moment where the brutal fight took a deadly turn as Pierce switched the gun into burst fire mode and exchanged his fist with a burst of three led slugs being sent into the torso or arm to stop anyone who still had the thought and tenacity to fight back. Plus he didn't care about casualties at all because he temporarily switched his mind into a focused state where fighting and dealing damage takes the utmost importance.

Pierce admitted that he was not an accurate and said that he preferred spray and pray tactics, but in this case he got to collect fresh magazines as much as possible to be used in the following operations, and by judging the sound of heavy clunks inside his duffle bag, Pierce had collected enough clips and the newly smuggled eastern european SMGs for him and his colleagues.

It will surely be a traumatizing experience for the brave and unfortunate Antiskill officers who will inevitably be sent here to process the scene.

That was probably why Yomikawa Aiho, the PE teacher and Antiskill officer who decided to take a sick leave on the following day.

With the front side of the warehouses being cleared from possible threats, Pierce continued to sweep the rest of the complex only to find a lone member of said faction who hid himself and refused to get involved with the fight, which surprised him as a sense of self preservation was rather rare in this part of the city.

"What do we have here?" Pierce said in a cold sounding tone as he approached the lone figure who had dirty blonde hair and freshly removed piercings.

"Damn it… Aren't you satisfied enough with all of the carnage you have brought here?" The lone blonde delinquent yelled at the monster that managed to massacre the entire Skillout faction that called these warehouses as their home.

"I will be the judge of that." Pierce said as he reached out his hand to grab the blonde's head.

"Guh…"

"Hold it!" One loud and stern call echoed through the air before a series of stepping sounds could be heard approaching him which alerted the boy's sense of danger.

"What?!"

Pierce said before a sudden blur blazed on the side of his head that prompted him to drop his body to the ground to dodge whatever object that was swinging towards his head.

And during the drop he took a glance and saw what the object actually was. It was a foot from someone who's throwing the entirety of his body to send a kick towards him and the kick would surely deal massive damage on his body if the kick actually connects.

The boy continued to jerk his body to the side to get himself away from the sudden ambush, but he didn't think that these two figures were related.

And with each moment that passed by without any further attacks just confused him because both of them are also armed, the awkward moment is about to be enlightened by the one who tried to ambush him as he walked towards him and revealed himself under the moonlight that peered through the broken corrugated metal roof.

He's someone who's rather tall and had a muscular build that was more pronounced by his choice of clothes which consists of a maroon colored tee with a zipped dark colored leather jacket on top for the top and matching dark colored jeans and leather boots combo for the bottom.

But Pierce's eyes grew wide as he saw who the boy really was because he was someone who he had been in contact with before during his rampage through district 10 in a tragedy that was widely known as 'Three Day Incident'.

A/N: A track filled with rock sounding riffs to introduce two individuals who stood on the 'better' side.

He was the former leader of a large faction within Skillouts that was once known as 'Big Spider'.

The one who he spared because of the fact that he refused to become a lowly thug with guns.

Kurozuma Wataru.

Pierce immediately recognized the sharp gaze and his tea colored wavy hair anywhere even when it had grown down to the middle of his back.

"Hamazura, stand down… it's over, he destroyed the whole operation, you don't have to act as someone affiliated with them anymore."

"You're kidding, this bastard took all of them down." Shiage said in disbelief.

"Including Hebitani, that traitorous bastard should know that the demon will return if anyone starts to collect and run guns into the city again." Wataru replied.

"The demon? Is that the real deal?!… Oh shit!" Another shocking revelation caused the blonde to jolt back in surprise.

Pierce who saw the apparent fright in Shiage's face just shrugged his shoulders and said, "Don't worry, if you're friends with this guy I know that I could trust that you're not a part of them."

"I knew this was inevitable… damn it, I wish that I could prevent this." Wataru said while grimacing at the scene of carnage.

"That's why you sent him into deep cover." Pierce responded to his remark while pointing his index finger at Shiage.

"I'm trying to cut the snake's head and burn their body to make sure that no other head will grow, but I'm sure that they'll bury themselves back into hiding after this."

"They're not the ones who brought those guns in?"

"Nobody here has any access to get surplus guns that once belonged to the Russian secret service, Someone else was supplying these guns to them." Wataru explained.

The tea haired leader's explanation also caused the blonde to ask, "Can you handle this Kurozuma?"

"I was hoping that someone from the outside could help, but…" Wataru answered with worry as he wasn't able to finish his sentence.

"You don't have to get her involved with this lead…"

"I know, that's why I'm asking you to help us with this." Wataru said as he turned towards Pierce who's still trying to process all of this.

"EH?!" One shocked reply could be heard coming from Shiage.

Pierce responded by crossing his arms and said, "You're serious, aren't you."

This caused Wataru to walk closer towards Pierce and reply to his previous remark, "I am, I got someone that I got to protect at all cost."

"I'll see what I can do then." Pierce answered as he turned his body in a gesture that suggested that he will leave his new Skillout allies.

"Wait!" Wataru yelled.

"What is it?!"

"You need some disguise if you're planning to walk around here again, let's see… Hamazura, let's search for Hebitani's body and take his jacket." Wataru suggested to his colleague as the two of them started to scurry around and check the lifeless body one by one.

"Wh-What?!"

"It's a mark that you're affiliated with the factions and to make sure that no one was foolish enough to mess with you around these parts." Shiage said as he threw Hebitani's leather jacket to Pierce's arms.

"I take it that you thought I agreed to work with you then." The blue haired boy once again said with a cold sounding voice that caused the two skillout members to flinch a little.

"..."

"You know what, I agreed… I need eyes and ears from inside district 10 anyways." Pierce continued, he should know that his other voice could scare some people who aren't used to hearing such a cold and threatening tone.

"I'll be the one who contacts you when we have workable clues and leads." Wataru replied while seeing the demon who once brought literal hell into district 10, he could only wonder what kind of hell he would bring down upon them once more.

The two of them didn't speak anything before they were sure that Pierce was gone, and Hamazura Shiage opened the conversation with a remark that Kurozuma Wataru agreed with.

"Lead, You offered a lending hand to prevent needless attack on the factions who don't have any ties to the gun running operation right? are you fine with being seen as someone who shared other faction secrets?"

Wataru just stood there before he could form an answer. but he immediately voiced it as soon as he had one, "I would rather choose a punishing and malevolent god who came and had a clear target than a demon who devours all."

There was no joking tone within his answer which indicates that Wataru's answer was serious, he really believed that the blue demon could bring the destruction of the entirety of district 10.

Toaru Kagaku no Railgun S OST – Invader.

A/N: A Tune that screams eerie and mystery dear reader.

Hiding under the veil of darkness and while on his way to the inner parts of School Garden, Motoharu started to listen to some audio documentaries about the themes related to the nobility ranking system practiced during the middle ages.

The hierarchy system consisted of the king and queen along with the royal family, then the duke, marquess, count, viscount and baron. Judging by how things go this is more than just a plain naming system while adhering to an already existing system.

This is not the modern interpretation of a cruel system where everyone who was willing or unwillingly involved in it is playing cloak and dagger in every waking moment in order to become a more prominent and powerful family inside said ruling system.

This is aimed to be a romanticized version to cater to the residents of school garden who loved to watch or read stories that revolved around the romance being set in that particular period where the nobility system is the prominent ruling system.

But by counting and weighing all the clues that has been presented Motoharu could thought up a possibility where the modern and romanticized version of this 'Duchy' was only a front and a subtle warning for the ones who approached them because in these kind of stories the duchy usually has access to a large military power, controlling the kingdom's underworld in contrast to the royal family's moralistic approach of control.

Simply put, the blonde spy is very intrigued by this disturbing possibility, that the duchess could be a member of a royal family with ties to the darkside coalition that just got beaten by him and his group.

One particular sentence echoed again in his mind, a sentence that the Chairman of Neu solutions uttered as his body burns and his bones melting away from the fiery spell that the blonde boy casted on him.

He confessed that the darkness that the alchemist family brought into the city has rooted itself deeply inside the very core of the city while avoiding itself from intervening with the superintendent's plans.

The older member of this family of alchemists, magicians and espers are burrowed themselves in risky research where they used human subjects, ancient artifacts and forbidden techniques that was so heinous even the 'heretic' esper and magician hybrid wondered why Necessarius hasn't hunt them down yet.

Their focus was simple for him to figure out because they have followed the same rigid structure that magicians often follow, but the younger generation of the family who really have several paths of power that they could thread on their way up were the ones who scared him because the possibility of what kind of power that they could have were endless.

This Neu family is just like the Kihara family who originated from the magic side.

That thought alone carried immense weight to it.

Motoharu knew the things that Kihara family has done in the name of furthering the progress of science with no regards for the safety of the city and its residence, hell they don't even care if their life withered away because of their crazy experiments.

So what kind of horrors that this family has in store especially after they have revealed themselves from the shadows.

He already saw how they could command a private military might and the city's darkside group through their wealth and connections.

His colleagues have seen how they created a false idol that was meant to imitate a god through forcefully combining magical artifacts and an esper medium through alchemic means.

It was only his feelings but he could feel something way worse is going to happen because of this mission that he accepted as he lay down on top of a high building and set up his sniper rifle with a massive scope and a coat that he placed on top of his body and head like a cover.

The blonde will observe from afar because he already planted the wiretaps around the area and he could just use his phone to switch between listening devices.

He had set his surveillance post and to make himself comfortable he brought a can filled with hot water to make some instant coffee.

It was to prevent him from crashing down to a sudden sleep and miss important pieces of information that he could get.

To prevent himself further from sleeping he decided to make a prank call to the safehouse where Mitsuki and Eri who's currently staying in the safehouse to investigate the identity of the royal family member.

"Please tell me you're getting somewhere with your search." Motoharu opened his sentence with a snarky remark.

Mitsuki replied as he giggled slightly and said "I should say the same thing to you Tsuchimikado."

"You're getting yourself comfortable out there handler?" Eri also joined in as she knew the harsh condition of doing a stakeout operation alone.

"That's thoughtful of someone who had done a fair share of solo stakeout." Motoharu replied.

Eri decided to share their research progress and it doesn't look good as she said, "We're not getting closer to anything handler, we still didn't see a certain pattern of the cover up articles being used to cover the scandal."

"It's not a scandal, that girl really was being rejected by the Tokiwadai foundation." Motoharu gave a comment related to Eri's remark.

"But why did the board director really riled up by it?" She asked.

Mitsuki saw her curiosity and decided to share his thoughts on it, "I have some theories that could lead us somewhere."

"Share them with us then, young master." Eri replied with a grin on her face and a teasing tone.

Mitsuki just replied with an exasperated sigh before he looked at the grinning girl to share his thoughts, "Okay then, the first reason was because of the sheer amount of things that the royal family demanded from the school like a private room within the dormitory that has been refurbished to the royal standard, private servant and many more, but there was one specific request that raised major red flags."

"What? Tell us already!"

"The ones who were responsible for her stay wanted to see Tokiwadai's power development strategies and specific curriculum and wanted to tune it to their own standards."

"Why did they roll her into Tokiwadai in the first place then?! The Tokiwadai foundation already has a solid track record of high level espers."

"Yes, even your Ojou-sama enrolled there."

"It only strengthens the theory that the darkside coalition was involved in this as well, Neu solutions's ghost still lingers in the city." Motoharu chimed in to share his opinion and implied to Mitsuki that the mysterious family of magician and alchemist are still present inside the city.

"Even with the major loss of assets, partners and their chairman… their headquarters are still standing strong, even the Japan branch still doesn't give any notable report." Eri added her findings about the latest situation of Neu Solutions.

She didn't know that these alchemist's can turn rocks into gold with their techniques and that assures there won't be any notable blow towards their corporate empire anytime soon, Motoharu and Mitsuki don't want to tell her about the existence of magic because they want to spare her from all the trouble and headache from knowing the dark and secretive world of magic.

Motoharu and Mitsuki just realized that they should change the topic of conversation into one that she could actively participate in, a rather important point where she could help them with the looming threat of the illusive clique and other groups affiliated with it.

"Sakai, do you have any connections to an arms dealer?" Motoharu tried to abruptly change the topic of conversation which was so jarring that the girl couldn't even call him out on it and just said,

"Eh? It was unusual for you to ask something like that"

"I need a contact that could deliver a certain type of ammunition for the group." Motoharu explained, but he still didn't give the bigger picture.

"I have some people that I knew could deliver stuff through district 11, but you can't smuggle anything larger than a cooler box." Eri answered with a puzzled look that won't leave her face because she knew that the group likes to commandeer the enemy's resources to arm themselves.

"Perfect then!" Motoharu replied in a jovial tone which surprised the girl further.

"Eh?"

The blonde spy continued and say, "Unabara go and get that one thing on the bottom of the gunrack, I think we could use it on the field If Sakai could get us the right type of rounds."

Mitsuki walked to the blonde's gun workshop and did as he instructed, much to his surprise he found an anti material rifle that looks like a gun that can literally murder a building. Mitsuki just stared at it and only responded with a simple.

"Holy…"

Eri on the other hand was not used to the sight of an overpowered gun such as this as her voice changed to a shaky one while saying, "Handler, where did you get this?!"

"Inside an abandoned facility in the city." Motoharu said in reference to a raid where he and Accelerator raided a facility that develops weapons for the sisters project, "I tweaked with the design and added some improvement of life modifications, to turn it into a usable and safe weapon for us to use."

"The size of the magazine… Don't tell me it uses that kind of bulle…"

"Yes, the .50 caliber rounds, it was purpose built to kill an armored vehicle by shooting its engine block."

"Handler, it was an overkill if we had something like this on our hands, you even said to Hinote-san to hide his 'Arche' fighter plane away until you deemed it safe to use again." Eri started to comment on his seemingly reckless decision.

"Sakai, just try to get one case of 'armor piercing incendiary' type .50 bullets, it's our insurance in case that the clique somehow managed to ambush and corner the whole group." He explained his case as he saw the gun as a long range deterrent to be used as the last choice against the enemy.

"It's a fine idea, but we couldn't bring this gun out in the open, even at night this will cause a major security alert." Eri continued to refute the decision.

"The recoil and the blast noise will wake the nearby residents, Tsuchimikado." Mitsuki also chimed in with his thoughts.

"And how about that albino freeloader that Nunotaba has been taking care of?" Eri said in which her blonde haired handler just froze in his tracks.

"That… Oh… that…" He made it clear that he forgot about the existence of white haired esper who's lying inside the apartment of one of his colleagues.

"You forgot about that, Don't you?" Eri said through the call, but Motoharu could feel that her gaze had turned cold like a stone as she said the sentence in a flat voice tone.

"I got a lot on my mind Sakai, I Just haven't come around to figure out what we should do with a clone of the city's strongest esper." The boy tried to answer with a shaky voice in an attempt to defend himself.

His weak defense only led the girl to blast him while giving more information about the clone's current condition, "He has a name you know, they even made an ID entry on the city's database for him."

"really?! This is news to me." Mitsuki jumped in to help his colleague as the two of them are actually magicians with equal respect for each other.

"There's a small metal wallet inside his jacket that contains a basic ID card." Eri turned to Mitsuki as she said that.

"What is his name?" The orderly fashioned brunette voiced his curiosity.

"Shirogane, Shirogane Nora."

"Stray white steel" Motoharu suddenly made a return to the call.

"What was that?" Eri asked.

"The rough meaning of his name."

"More importantly, has Nunotaba managed to 'complete' and fix his mind?" He voiced his curiosity towards the living curb stomp weapon's status because it was also possible for him to join the group as there were worries about them being spread too thin because of all the cases that they have to handle.

"She used the therapy device that she used to check on the brothers mental condition to rewire the mess that was his mind, the Neu researchers just wanted to create a living weapon first and work on the fundamental body functions later." Eri shared the things that Shinobu told her.

"Huh?"

"Take it this way, his body would fail without the implant because he doesn't have the proper knowledge on how to breathe properly, but they already gave him knowledge of deadly combat techniques."

"Well they do want to create a combat ready esper with a death switch on it, this is the closest thing to it." Motoharu chimed in to share the reason why those actions might be taken.

But it left one unanswered question inside his mind.

Why did they give him an actual ID, it was as if they wanted him to become an active member of society who could walk in the open.

"Nunotaba got rid of said killswitch and used the previous mind files to create a basic working living mind… but…" Eri continued as her voice started to fumble a little towards the end.

"But what?" Motoharu immediately said he was really curious about this because as far as he knew the albino esper could be turning into a complete psychopath just like the villains in many blockbuster movies.

Eri took a deep breath and meekly said, "The boy is really… really silent and his entire mannerism reminded me of an airheaded child."

The gray haired girl remembered the first time when she went back home and found the 'deadly' esper staring at her with googly wide eyes.

She was convinced that she can't explain the experience without the two boys calling her out as a liar, so she just replied with, "You'll see it yourself when Nunotaba feels that he was safe enough to interact with you guys."

"why?" Motoharu asked.

"Remember when you brought the brothers in, the younger one still needed time to adjust right?"

"So are you taking care of him?" Mitsuki asked while he turned his head towards her at neck breaking speed.

"Based on how we looked when we stood next to each other, Nunotaba thought that we could pass ourselves off as siblings so she asked me to accompany him out to learn basic social interaction."

"You got a lot on your hands, don't you."

"I guess, but I just sat inside a coffee shop and worked while Shiro got his hands full answering questions from others who showed interest in us."

"I can see how the two of you could attract attention from others."

"I know his look is rather unusual and the same goes for me as well."

"Wait! Guys I got contact from inside School Garden!" The sniper suddenly joined in the conversation again as he started to change the settings of the listening device to eavesdrop on the moving figure.

"At this hour?" Eri said in shock.

"Can you look at it with your scope." Mitsuki also commented.

"She's about to walk on the main street." Motoharu gave a picture of what he saw, but it took him a moment before he found his voice again because the next sentence that he said also caused Eri and Mitsuki to have their jaws dropped, "Isn't that one of the Tokiwadai's former clique leaders?"

"Well we can't see her Handler, give the details so we can match your description with her student ID." Eri said to him as she scoured through the files to find the picture of Mikagami Nagisa.

Motoharu complied as he went to describe her in further detail, "Supple and soft skin with some freckles, her hair is lightly colored and braided into a ponytail with ribbons, and she wore Tokiwadai's high school uniform… this means."

"She was Mikagami Nagisa, one of the Duchess's clique representatives who's running one of the major accounts." Eri confirmed what Motoharu saw was indeed Mikagami Nagisa who used to be a leader of a clique in Tokiwadai middle high school.

"Why did someone as important as her walk out alone at this late hour?" Mitsuki asked as he couldn't believe what his colleague just found.

"If you see her face and expression right now you'll immediately see why Unabara, Sakai." Motoharu said in a colder sounding voice before he continued to drop the bomb on Eri and Mitsuki, "She's trying to run away from School Garden."

"Should we get involved with this?" the brunette shapeshifting magician said.

" I'm not confident in revealing ourselves this early, but we can't pass up on a big opportunity like this."

"Do you need a backup then, the research can take a second priority."

"Come here then Unabara and bring that marksman rifle, as for Sakai I think it's about time that you make a debut inside the highly esteemed School Garden." Motoharu said before the two heard rustling noises from Motoharu's side.

"I feel that you planned something really bad up on your sleeve handler." Eri voiced her worry.

"I am, so get ready to face the music." A cold reply could be heard.

"Noooo." She said as she put on her tube scarf and gloves before she walked towards the bike garage.

At this very moment the fleeing girl was about to reach the outer gate of School Garden, but before she could make her way out a pair of girls walked out from behind the gate and blocked her attempt to leave the area.

To make it even more bitter, those girls were once members of her clique back in her middle school days, these girls at one point were completely loyal to her, This caused Nagisa to clench her heart as she felt rather disturbed as she knew that this is one of the duchess's favorite strategy.

Pitting close acquaintances against each other to hurt them on an emotional level.

"Mikagami-sama, what are you doing at this hour?" a girl with long light colored hair asked in a low yet stern tone.

"I'm just trying to get some air." She replied in a calm manner and flat sounding tone.

"Are you being truthful with your answer?" The other girl with short light colored hair asked her further.

"I am."

Her answer caused the long haired girl to take a deep breath before she said something to her in a rather accusatory manner, "So you're not trying to get away from the Duchess then, even though you already prepared a private room for yourself outside the garden."

"I'm just trying to get some fresh air." Nagisa once again gave the same reply.

Her answer caused the short haired girl to reply to her in a slight irritation, "The duchess gave her order and said that you can't step out from School Garden Mikagami-sama."

Maybe she was disappointed by Nagisa because she was once looked up to as a leading figure for her.

The girl with long hair pressed further as she said, "It's hard for us to say this, but please come with us quietly, we won't hurt you if you comply."

"No, I'm sorry but I'm not going back to that place again." Nagisa replied with an answer that implies that she had enough with the current situation.

"You're defying the Duchess's order then, I'm sorry for doing this then Mikagami-sama." She replied as she activated her esper powers that caused a growth of demonic claws and horns to grow on her head, neck and arms.

Her action puts Nagisa into a tight spot because she's not the fighting type, it was her power to control the amount of fat in one's body that propelled her to the top and caused people to gather around her as each of them had hopes that she will reshape their body parts to become more beautiful.

'How did I get involved in this kind of problem all over again?' Nagisa thought to herself as she was pondering her current situation.

'The conflict between cliques back then was bad, but it was insignificant if it is being compared with this.' The girl with braided ponytail once again thought to herself as a prickling sensation started to gather around her eyes and caused a glassy tint to appear on them.

"Please don't resist any further Mikagami-sama, the duchess would hate it if you got roughed up because of this struggle." The demon horn girl said as she walked closer towards Nagisa who's about to cry at any moment now.

With her hope lost, she could only say a simple plea towards her former clique members, 'Please no.'

She hoped that it would stop her as she kept her eyes shut and waited for the inevitable moment where she would grab her by the hair and drag her back to the duchess.

But nothing happened in the next few seconds that felt like an eternity for her.

This prompted her to open her eyes and find out that the two girls stopped their action because of a new masked figure who just entered the scene, a figure in dark colored clothes who wore a mask with many lenses that reminded her of a spider.

"What is that?" One of them pointed her index finger at the figure who currently held a collapsible baton on each hand.

"Is it the intruder from yesterday, the one reported by the queen's clique."

"What an unsightly view, let's deal with this ruffian first." She said as she gritted her teeth to show her disgust.

That was a shared sentiment as her friend also looked at the boy in contempt before she replied with, "understood."

On the other hand, The boy was just baffled by the fact that they used the word ruffian to describe him and he could only check it by asking it to his colleague who switched positions with him and now observing the soon to be battlefield through his sniper scope.

"Did they really just call me a ruffian?" There was a tint of anger in his reply.

"It's harsh by their standards." Mitsuki replied while trying his best to not to laugh.

"Heh! I wonder what would happen if I dropped the thrash talking esper and the slaughterhouse brute here." Motoharu said as a terrible imaginary scenario played out inside Mitsuki's head where the whole area literally turned into a lawless area where two unstable monsters are ravaging through the scorched land.

After snapping out from the frightening imagination, Mitsuki instantly called out to the boy to say, "Please don't Tsuchimikado, those two will smear the name of the entire male population of Academy City through the mud if you drop them here. And to top it off, you're already more than enough to twist the entirety of the garden into chaos."

"I'm flattered, shall I give a small demonstration?" Motoharu replied with a smirk.

"Don't go too hard on them, you ruffian."

A reply could be heard along with a healthy amount of sass peppered into it.

"It was like a lighthearted remark that occurs before something terrible happens and it was definitely the case here as Motoharu slides his body into the darkness of the surrounding treelines.

A/N: Yeah… I'm not hiding any of my intentions about who is being paired with who in this story.

If Motoharu tried to insert himself as a hero who will save the girl then he did a terrible job for that because what Nagisa sees is a terrifying existence who resembled a cruel villain who toyed around with his victims. Even when he didn't engage with lethal intentions, his body language and aura was still filling the air with a dangerous presence that sent fright straight to the spines of everyone present there.

It took quite some time before the short haired braved herself to say, "Where did he go?"

In which her horned friend could reply with an obvious line, "The treelines! after him!"

It was too obvious because as soon as she said so a figure dashed out like a blur from the darkness while sending a swing kick that headed straight to her torso and to top it off the masked figure who launched the surprise attack dares to call out on her slow instincts as one simple line could be heard coming from him, "Too late!"

That simple yet pride hurting remark filled the air moments before someone's body got sent into the classic european styled pavement.

"What?! How did he… KYAAAH!" the girl with demonic looking horns screamed as she got taken out from the fight.

And by learning from the previous fight where the blonde saw his colleague who used initial momentum to keep up a relentless assault on his target, the blonde spy tried to execute the same move while modifying it to fit his more flowing yet tactical fighting style.

He used the momentum from the first strike to spin his body and by keeping the spinning momentum going he could use it to spin again to execute a flying 540 kick.

An overkill that could send the designated target to a hospital and that's why Motoharu used the sheer force from the attack to mentally attack his opponent, because as soon as she stepped back a hand could be felt grabbing her arm with force and spin her body into a 180 turn.

She didn't know that the kick was only a trick for adding more momentum for the boy so that he could do a lightning quick arm lock and takedown.

"What happened?! Where did the ruffian go! KAH!" was the only line that she could say during the whole takedown.

Those batons and lethal kicks were only a play that lured her into making mistakes, but the girl was still trying to send threats because she still found the strength in her to yell, "I'm calling for the others! We'll get you for this."

Which only caused him to put a plastic handcuff on her which ensured that she could no longer participate in the fight and the same goes for her unconscious friend.

"So much for a stealthy approach and 'I didn't want to reveal myself too early' monologue." Mitsuki commented.

"Well things can and will go wrong, it's nice that we switched positions right?"

"I'll be helping myself with that coffee thank you." The brunette sassily replied as he drank the coffee that Motoharu hasn't even touched since the beginning of this failed stakeout operation.

"Damn it, you are enjoying this." Motoharu replied in slight irritation.

"Of course, especially when I saw a hunting party being sent your way from the northern dormitory and the north eastern dormitory, it's about a dozen of level 3 and 4 espers, I think it's your cue to get the hell away from there Tsuchimikado." Mitsuki replied while reporting the literal hunting party that has been alerted about his presence within School Garden.

The worsening condition drove Motoharu to say "I'll get the damsel in distress first then." through his radio as he walked closer to Nagisa who's trying to hide throughout the violent two against one fight.

The fact that this presumably hostile being doesn't even use any esper power also raised her fright level further.

"Who are you?! What do you want with me?!" She yelled towards the blonde tyrant.

"Simple, come with us and I'll help you." The blonde delinquent replied as he called one of his allies to drop into the scene, "Come and get the package, bring the two wheeler in."

And through the communication line Motoharu could hear a reply coming from the thief who worked together with them, "This thing is stealthy alright, I like it."

and one minute later she already appeared on the outer gates with the custom bike that has a dedicated silent mode which was really useful in situations like this.

"Just get here quickly and take Mikagami somewhere safe." Motoharu quickly said as Eri stopped the bike and waited for Nagisa to hop on.

"District 3's private rooms?" She asked.

"Too obvious, take her to an empty warehouse in district 11, one of your employer's warehouses must have basic accommodation right?" Motoharu referred to the Kongou Airline and Heavy Industries's warehouse.

"I will take that into consideration, but what about you?" She asked.

"Let me and Unabara handle this, just keep her safe." Motoharu answered Eri's question before he tried to convince Nagisa for one more time. "Come on, you got to get yourself away from this place, Mikagami."

This time he reached out with his right hand in a manner that mirrored a dramatic scene from a fantasy movie, but on the side of the same coin it could also be viewed as a scene where a demon of immense power offered a sweet lie where the heroine would be tied down into a life of misery.

"Why should I trust you?" Nagisa said as she walked backwards to create a visible gap between them.

"Because I'm the best bet you got for getting away from the duchess." The boy in disguise said bluntly while still keeping his hand reaching out towards the frustrated girl.

Nagisa weighed her options while darting her eyes and glances around before she turned her body back to see the view of the School Garden that looked rather spooky during the night.

A perfect representation of what the clique scene had become as the duchy clique expanded its grip on the School Garden and other locations inside Academy City.

On the other side she saw a pair of strangers that came to help her, but it was obvious that they have other agendas that they want to achieve.

In this instance where she felt alone and helpless she could only say one thing that sounds so simple at first glance but could be seen as something big depending on the situation.

Mikagami Nagisa is about to send a wave of tsunami towards Tsuchimikado Motoharu because while trembling and on the verge of tearing up she said.

"I will come with you, but take responsibility for your words earlier."

with no added context her sentence just shocked the whole group that tried to save her, Motoharu freezes on the spot, Eri's face twists into an unrecognisable expression and Mitsuki is laughing his ass off while letting out a remark that perhaps the blonde spy also has an ability derived from his spiky haired friend.

"Kamijou-san's public speaking skills really rubbed off on you. Oh wow! Congratulations Tsuchimikado! I for one didn't see that coming!"

"Handler… You have to pick your words carefully while dealing with delicate high society girls like her…" Eri said as another relationship that could give headache buds right in front of her.

"I'll worry about that later" The blonde replied as he pulled the trembling girl up and walked her towards the getaway rider who's currently revving the bike into a controlled launch mode.

"Don't be surprised if I dropped her in your apartment because she specifically asked for you to take responsibility… a sly one aren't you, handler?"

"Please don't… my sister will put my head on the chopping block if she finds a sleeping Ojou-san on my bed."

"No promises." Eri replied, which caused the supposed spy and assassin to groan and protest like a child while Mitsuki is still laughing on the other end of the communication line.

"Just hold your laughs for later and give me sniper support Unabara, this is going to be a hard one to get away unscathed."

"Pfft! Roger roger." The brunette replied while thinking that he won't let this go on the following operation where they have to infiltrate the Yanadem tower to destroy one of two part nanomachine based weapons created by affiliates of the darkside coalition where they will be taking the mission as GROUP.

The brunette thought that there's nothing that could go even more wrong in the next mission.

Like running into a certain misfortune boy accompanied by two beautiful ladies and one of them possessed the most destructive esper ability in the city.

While Touma and the others are going to England and getting thrown head first into a coup, let's throw this group into the thick of Railgun's cast of characters… yeah… the gap between boy and girl characters will widen at an accelerated rate.

Motoharu: Why do you lock us up in this room! Jason! Lest us out!

Jason: No, not until I knew what's wrong with the three of you bastards! Picking up girls casually during an operation was a crime against humanity.

Mitsuki: Kami-yan disease also spreads to the three of them, fathers, hide your daughters when these three are around.

Pierce: What's wrong with picking up girls on a mission? Kamijou does that on a daily basis!

Jason: EVERYTHING! YOU PHILANDERING BASTARDS!

Mitsuki: I have this bad feeling that Tsuchimikado will do the same thing Aogami did with Chisa but on a much larger scale.

Accelerator: HAH! That's why his game went down the drain during his time in England, he already used all of his mojo on School Garden cliques!

Jason: Delta Force must go… They're an actual enemy of the vast population of teenage boys in the city who got wronged by them.

Accelerator: Scrubs don't have any chance with these three around…

Motoharu: Come on! Let us out…

Pierce: We'll behave.

Author: I can confirm that the blonde and the blue one will keep on picking up girls of various types while showing a sickening view of denseness…

Jason: Okay, Execute them.

Btw after I read Nagisa's backstory in Railgun manga chapter 135 I knew I could do so much to expand her character as she was depicted by the reluctant leader who actually just wants to live in peace, because one could only wonder what would happen if someone who accidentally made a large clique meets a group tailor made for surgical and total destruction.

The 540 kick is a small nod towards Tokyo Revengers as it was the flipping kick that Mikey pulled on Hanma.
