Ajuka's POV

Many factors decide the outcome of a battle. From the terrain to a tactician's strategy, they can decide one's fate of becoming the victor or the loser. Ajuka Beelzebub was a decent tactician when it came to the art of war. He had commanded legions of devils during the Great War many millennia's ago and fought with cunning strategies. To him, it didn't matter whether he had a larger army than the opponent. As long as he had contingencies, he would be fine even in the worst situation possible.

The devil inventor rolled to the side as pandemonium broke in the small tiny room. Even though they outnumbered Jun's group, they sorely lacked in power and experience. He was not surprised to see Koneko, who was tossed aside by the giant armored man. Her punches never made a dent on the armor as the giant swung his broadsword around like a raging dervish. Sona's water dragons were sliced apart as she tried to stall for time. Meanwhile, the other fighters were locked in a stalemate with the rest of the devils.

Saji and Kiba were keeping the white-haired warrior busy, while Momo, Tomoe, and Tsubasa fought the silver robotic warrior. On the other hand, Akeno was toying her opponent relentlessly, dodging his swings while shocking with her holy lightning. That left Rias and Issei to deal with the unhinged Marchosias descendant.

Reaching into his pocket, he tapped the ruby crystal, and a quick flash of light emanated from it. With some luck, he would hear it and end the fight before it got worse.

Jun's POV

Things were going badly. Very badly. I wasn't surprised to see my team lose in a matter of seconds. The moment Garro declared his battle cry, the small room that was the student council's meeting room became a cramped and horrible battlefield. With Bolter and sword, the Astartes became a whirlwind of carnage. Bolter rounds slammed and exploded against layers of protective demonic energy. Each explosion whittled away the energy shield until it popped like a balloon.

Ruruko Nimura became the first casualty in the fight. She made the mistake of attacking Garro from a blind spot when he was fighting against Koneko. Grabbing Koneko's arm, he spun around and tossed the disguised nekomata into Ruruko. Both girls crashed into the wall, earning severe bruises and cuts. The protective shield around them burst into motes of light and drifted to the ceiling. Pointing his bolter at them, he unloaded the magazine. Koneko reacted quickly by dodging out of the way, but Ruroko dodged too late. Stary rounds penetrated her flesh and detonated seconds later, shredding her legs and right arm to pieces. A blood-curdling howl of pain and agony came from Ruruko as she squirmed in a puddle of warm blood. Shock overtook her and she dropped onto the floor, twitching erratically like a fish out of water.

For a second, none of the devils moved as they were horrified by what happened. It was unthinkable and impossible for a devil to be grievously wounded by human weapons unless they were enchanted. It was in that second, we turned the tables on them. Unclipping his smoke grenades, Vesemir threw them at his feet, and black smoke filled the room. With their vision obscured for the moment, the witcher drew his silver blade and plunged it into Kiba's stomach. Using the stab's momentum, he began running toward the back of the room with Kiba stuck on his blade.

Meanwhile, Eugeo took the opportunity to stab his sword into the floor. A miniature blizzard blew into existence around him and frostbite began to form on Akeno's skin. Holy lightning radiated from fingertips as she prepared to send tendrils of lightning bolts toward him. A flash of white light, a cold sensation, and darkness were the last thing she felt and saw when she was flash-frozen at point-blank range. Collapsing to the ground, he wheezed and gasped for air. His vision blurry, he grabbed his sword to pull himself up. The sound of ice cracking caught his attention as he saw two more people approach him. With shaky legs, he pulled the sword out and assumed the Aincrad style's ready stance.

Near Garro, Artakha channeled the power within his Mask of Creation. The item he needed materialized in his hands and he tossed one of many silver daggers into the air. He quickly threw each one at the devils' legs, hampering their movement and sapping their strength. He raised his arm as he was bombarded with bolts of magical energy from his enemies. A tiny storm of energy sat in the palm of his other hand and grew, transforming into the shape of a wrist-mounted crossbow-like launcher. Snapping it onto his wrist, he pointed the Nynrah Ghostblaster at them.

The devils raised to arms to protect themselves as the cross-bolt sped toward them. There was a loud pop and the devils found themselves trapped in a transparent bubble. Turning his attention toward the bespectacled woman, Artakha grunted as a pair of water serpents bit his arm. Azure flames coated his fist as he plunged it into the serpent and froze it. Twisting his arm, the serpents shattered into shards of ice on the carpeted floor. The woman's futile attempts to push him away failed as he froze the serpents. In seven steps, he towered over her trembling figure as she backed against the wall.

For a moment, the thunderous din of battle faded away as they locked eyes with each other. Defiant violet eyes clashed against pools of tranquil blue. The staring contest ended when Sona blinked away the tears from her eyes.

"Do you have any last words?" the giant asked softly. He watched the woman take a shuddering breath before she spoke.

"I only wished I had more time to achieve my dream."

Nodding his head, he took a step backward and pointed the crossbow-like launcher at her. "Forgive me, little one," he said solemnly and pulled the trigger. A soft gasp escaped her lips as the bolt slammed against her stomach. Clutching her wound, Sona fell to the ground and took a peek at her stomach. To her surprise, there was no blood spurting from her wound. In fact, she felt no pain in her body. Instead, she felt very light-headed and drowsy as the tranquilizer's effect kicked in. With a final gasp, she fell asleep on the ground.

As for me, I was hiding behind an upturned table. Standing a few feet away were the two people I didn't want to fight: Rias Gremory and Issei Hyoudou. Both of them were inexperienced fighters with tremendous power. Gripping my Lancer rifle, I fired wildly at them from behind cover. While Issei panicked as bullets flew past him, Rias calmly deflected them with thin tendrils of power and sent a ball of energy careening toward me. The table was vaporized into shredded wood and leather as I rolled out of the way. The smoke cleared as Issei charged toward me with an armored red gauntlet. Raising my lancer, the chainsaw bayonet howled and carbide-tipped teeth ground against the gauntlet.

Issei shouted over the screams of the chainsaw bayonet, "You don't... have to do this! It's a misunderstanding." He flinched as I pushed the chainsaw deeper into the gauntlet.

"You started this when you kidnapped me!" I shouted back with anger. A sudden punch to the face sent me flying into the floor and I rubbed my jaw. Standing a few feet away, Rias smiled smugly and held up her fist coated with magical energy.

"No more games," I muttered quietly and switched for the King Rouzer blade. Crouching slightly, I prepared to dash toward when a wave of ice surged toward me, freezing me in an instant.

Sirzechs's POV

Sitting in the dimly lit throne room, Sirzechs Lucifer waited for the rescue signal to arrive. He had insisted to come along with Ajuka, but the creator assured him that everything would go well. He didn't understand why his best friend would approve his sister's ludicrous request to test a person's DNA. He had told her that it was simply a coincidence for a human to share the last name of a devil clan. But Rias was adamant and believed that this Junichiro Marchosias was in fact a descendant of the extinct clan.

"If anything goes wrong, I will signal you and Serafall," Ajuka had told him before departing to the human world.

A chime rang in the room and he rose from his throne. A teleportation circle glowed underneath his feet and he felt skin prickle as he was sent to the human world. Even before he materialized, Sirzechs had taken the precaution of coating his body with demonic energy. The sensation of bullets exploding against his shield alerted him of the enemy in front of him.

He was a giant in a grey suit of armor. With a height of eight feet tall, he towered over the Satan Lucifer. A bald tan head covered with light scars, a small row of metal studs shined above the man's right brow. Sirzechs stood in his place as he watched the broadsword arc toward his head. Raising his hand, he caught it between his index and middle finger. The giant pulled on the handle, but the blade would not budge.

The giant reached for his pistol and pointed it at Sirzechs's forehead when the sound of crinkling ice and frost filled the room. The ice spread across the room like wildfire and froze the enemy combatants in thick sheets of ice.

"Well, that was easy!" a cheerful voice behind Sirzechs said. The voice belonged to a young woman sporting twin tails of black hair and wore a pink magical girl outfit.

"Serafall, how's your sister?" he asked. The Satan Leviathan turned to see her sister, who was being awakened by her Queen.

"I think she's fine. A thorough medical examination will be needed," the idol answered. She nudged Sirzechs, who saw his sister approach him. A quick glance showed that the younger Gremory sibling was alright physically, but he could sense regret and anguish inside her.

"I messed up, brother. I should have done this at the Occult Research building," she said. Sirzechs laid his hand on her shoulder and patted it gently.

"It wasn't your fault, Rias. The outcome would remain the same even if you had changed locations," he said and examined Jun's frozen companions. It was clear that they were not from this world. Their armor and weapons were proof of their otherworldly existence.

"That went well," a voice muttered behind him. Ajuka held an icepack to the right side of his head and chuckled at him. Sirzechs sighed inwardly and approached his friend.

Before he could say anything, Ajuka raised a finger and wagged it at him, "Don't say it. I know exactly what you're going to say," Regardless of Ajuka's warning, the strongest Satan laughed quietly at him and Ajuka fumed in response. There was a lapse of silence before the Satan Beezlebub asked the inevitable question.

"So... what are we going to do with them?"

Sirzechs sighed and dragged a nearby chair over. The chair creaked loudly as he sat down on it and Sirzechs extended his hands open, "Suggestions, anyone?"

Momo Hanakai was the first to give her suggestion, "Immediate execution for everyone." Several eyebrows raised in the air, some in surprise and others in horror. Members of Sona's peerage knew that the bishop would never wish for death upon her enemies unless she really wanted them to die.

"Motion denied," Sirzechs said. A hiss of anger left Koneko's mouth, who was tending to her wounds.

"Why not? He nearly killed Ruruko and she will have to live with the trauma of her near-death." the nekomata growled at him. Sona's peerage members nodded, their grim silence was their affirmation of the death sentence.

"I suggest sentencing them based on their actions and motives instead," Sona stated. She raised a hand to stop her older sister from dissenting and continued, "It is true that the giant deserves death, but the others should not join him." She stepped toward the robotic warrior and placed her hand on the ice, "When he confronted me, I didn't feel any malice or hatred from him. He seemed to be remorseful of his actions."

"Very well, I will consider it, Sona," Sirzechs said and rose from the chair. "I will take the prisoners back with us, where they will be under surveillance. The construction crew will arrive soon. I estimate that they will finish the job before dinnertime."

"Until then, big brother," Rias bowed toward him as he stood in the teleportation circle. There was a flash of light and he found himself in the basement of the Satans' castle. Dusting off his cape, he nodded to his companions and they left for their offices. The paperwork for the detainment of their prisoners was quickly approved within ten minutes and everything was done for the evening.

Stuffing the remaining paperwork in his filing cabinet, he yawned and stretched his arms. The door clicked as an aide entered his office.

"Uh, Satan Lucifer, I apologize for my intrusion but Satan Beezlebub is calling for a meeting." the aide reported. The red-haired devil groaned in response and sighed heavily. Rubbing his bleary eyes, he poured the last dregs of coffee into his thermos and left for the meeting.

"You're here!" Ajuka exclaimed. The tired devil glanced wearily at the sheet of parchment and the set of quills on the table. Whatever it was, it had to be important. Both Serafall and Falbium stood around the table, their arms crossed.

"So, what grand idea did you make this time?" Falbium yawned and scratched his bald head.

"Well, you're not going to like it, but I guarantee that the benefits outweigh the consequences," Ajuka said. His blunt statement snapped Sizrzechs out of his lethargic mood.

With a wide grin, he explained his plan. It was by far the most ridiculous and riskiest plan the Satans had heard since the Great War. Serafall's buoyant personality withered and she gripped the table to steady herself. Falbium's jaw dropped in shock as he contemplated the plan. Sirzechs was dumbfounded and genuinely wondered if his best friend had gone insane.

"Are you sure it will work?" he said.

"Yes, Sirzechs. If he takes it, then we will be the ones who won." Ajuka said confidently. With a sigh, the leader of the Four Great Satans prayed it would work.

AN

Just what kind of plan did Ajuka make? You will find out in the next chapter. I won't be able to update this story frequently as I am working now. By the way, I finalized my pick for Jun's first female servant! I won't say which series/franchise she comes from, but I will give you two hints.

1. She is a teenager with long fluffy red hair and has red eyes.

2. Her weapon is an orange spear.

That's all I will give you. So guess away in your comments! Until then, read and review!
