Hey guys!
So I started watching the Umbrella Academy when it first came out last year, but I didn't actually start writing fanfiction for it until... well, season two came out. I'm not exactly sure what prompted me to write it. At some point in season two, I just apparently thought, "Hey, Aiden Gallagher is kind of cute" (I have no idea when) and this fic was born.
Anyway, what I wanted to say was, I'm actually kind of proud of this book, so if you guys have anything harsh to say about it, can you please do so gently? I have this tendency to write a lot of dialogue, but this book is the exact opposite, which... for some reason, I'm proud of. I don't know why, don't ask me.
The main character in this book (Percy's her name, because I just love the name Percy for some reason and admittedly use it far too often in my stories) is kind of emotionless—at least she's portrayed that way for a majority of it—so it's a new kind of writing style for me, since I usually write sarcastic characters, but Percy's point of view is just... cold-ish and serious. There are parts where she does lighten up (because then she'd be as interesting as a rock) but I just wanted to say... well, I might not be very good at writing cold characters, even if I think this story is pretty good.
