Promptober Day 11 – Whispered Gushings in the Archery Dojo (KotoHonoUmi)

But someone wanted trios XD So here we go!

Eyes closed. A deep, slow breath through the nose and exhaling slow and steady through the mouth, Umi's grip on her bow was stable and she pulls the bowstring back to the ideal anchor point – feeling a ten.

Just before she released the shot, a muffled sneeze breaks the silence of the quiet air of the archery dojo.

"Ah, sorry…" Kotori whispers her apology.

"Here you go, Kotori-chan. You've tried your best to hold it in." Honoka reaches into her pocket and hands her best friend her handkerchief.

"Thank you." Kotori gladly accepts and wipes her nose and then hands.

Honoka chuckles softly. "It must have been hard holding that sneeze for as long as Umi-chan was nocking her arrow and preparing for the shot."

Kotori sniffles to make sure her nose was going to be cooperative in keeping the perfect soundless environment Umi prefers. "It was~ But Umi-chan was really cool doing all of that, I could not keep my eyes off her!"

Honoka nods eagerly, blue eyes sparkling with fervour. "So cool! Umi-chan looks like she could strike down pretty much anything in the world!"

Kotori giggles. "Sometimes I think maybe the arrow could burn with Umi's passion for archery or turn to ice from how stoic she is~"

"Oooh~ Umi-chan would be a superhero, saving the world with her super archer skills!" Honoka joined in the gushing, imagining what Kotori spoke.

All while her two girlfriends were excitably whispering to each other about her, seemingly assuming they were not being the biggest distraction possible for the archer; Umi's hands were shaking, perfect form lost as her cheeks flared red from all the praises and fantasies Kotori and Honoka was having of her right behind her.

"Honoka! Kotori!" Umi calls in a reproving and pleading tone.

"Ah."

"Ah."

Honoka and Kotori's shoulders jump realizing what they have done, smiling at each other before directing their guilty grins to their beloved archer, they clasp their hands together in apology. "Sorry?"

They were not sincerely repentant as they relish in Umi's blush covered face and embarrassed pout.

I do think we all need more of KotoHono getting Umi blushy or upset cos Umi always forgives them and it's cute XD
