Beep beep, beep beep, beep beep, beep beep…beep beep…
"Uwaa! Eh?" The alarm rudely wakes the ash-brunette sleeping in bed, and with bleary eyes and sleepy breaths, she reached over to the source of the alarm only to realize it's not her phone ringing but an alarm clock on the table so she reluctantly climbed out of bed to switch off the annoying source of morning disturbance.
Why an alarm..? I'm so sure I…
The ash-brunette yawns largely, stretching out her bones and muscles.
…don't have work today…
The ash-brunette heads back to bed, snuggling back under the covers and the pillow, taking a nice, deep breath to return to the calm of what should be a day off.
Mm…smells like… You-chan…
…
Eh?
The girl takes in another whiff of the scent of her one-sided crush. She furrows her eyebrows together, her mind becoming more awake by the minute.
I know I have been pining for You-chan for seven years now but…I've never hallucinated her smell and neither have I stolen any of her belongings when I missed her?
"…"
Come to think of it…
The girl touches herself; feeling the fabric of her t-shirt that should be her night singlet but it was not, feeling her face which felt different, feeling her arms – definitely not her arms.
The ash-brunette throws the blankets off her and she rushed for the lights, not at its usual position, and then a mirror, not at where she placed it too – since, "This isn't my house."
The girl shook her head and stared into the mirror, jaw agape and eyes widened in disbelief. "I'm…You-chan?"
Oh my gosh, I sound like her too?!
"Huee…" Chika, now in You's body, makes a confused sound which reach her ears and made her heart thump faster, she swallows nervously.
How did this happen..?
Chika looked around to make sure no one was around and the curtains were drawn, eyes glued back to the mirror, she lifts You's shirt up, gulping, she slides a hand over You's toned stomach, her cheeks flaring hot.
One… Two… Three seconds passed and Chika screamed and dropped to the floor squatting, holding her head, fingers curling into fluffy, ash-grey tresses she imagined curling her own fingers in every other night.
W-W-W-Wait. I'm in You-chan's body!? S-She has such a good body… Bu- But. That's not the point. Ehhhh? What should I do? Her voice…
"Ah…um… I'm W-Watanabe You…" Chika felt her voice a bit raspy, spotting a bottle on You's desk, she grabs it and downs the water, feeling her throat come back to life. "Ahhh… That's more like it."
Hearing You's voice was doing a number of things to her and it was weird because it is her who is thinking and speaking but it kind of feels like You is supposed to be here. Chika shakes her head and returns to the mirror.
"Chi…Chika-chan… I…"
Don't do it.
"I love…"
Ah, I shouldn't..!
"I love you…"
Chika swore steam could be escaping her crush's head just because she made You say those three words she longed for, for so long now. Chika falls to her butt (You's butt) and her troubled expression was You's pleading eyes… Pretty ocean-blue eyes that always made her stare and get so lost in them…
What should I do?
Chika stands, genuinely amazed that she could stand from the ground so effortlessly. Ever since college began, she did not have time to invest in staying fit, and even without that fact, You had always been much fitter.
Feels like I could run to anywhere in this body…
Chika tested jumping, running on the spot and star jumps. Her face morphing into a silly smile at being able to do things she can't. "Oh no, this is fun."
Chika laughs but then she hears You's laugh and that brought her back to reality.
Still in my crush's body. That's right. You-chan must have a reason for waking at…
Chika picks up You's phone and her eyes bulged. "5.30am!? Why so early?"
The pop-up notification answered Chika as it reads: High Dive Practice 7am
High dive… Eh? Chika has to do it?!
