After their conversation, the girls all fell asleep in Seline's bed, leaving Alcina to prepare for bed as well. I am shocked that everything went according to plan. (It's almost like the writer had a lot more angst planned and needed to keep the family together so they could set it up. Huh.) However, she chose not to dwell on that particular piece of plot armor, and went to bed. As per usual, Alcina was plagued by nightmares, but by now they weren't as bad. No nightmare could be as bad as the one she had a few months ago. She could still hear Cassandra's voice… "I hate you." That happened a long time ago. So why can't I get over it? Eventually, Alcina was able to wake up from the nightmares, and she began another day. Like always, Bela was up hours before anyone. "Good morning, Mother!" Alcina greeted her daughter, but frowned at the dark circles below her eyes. "Bela, did you stay up all night again?" Bela used some of her best curse words in her head, even taking some that she had learned from Alcina and Karl's frequent arguments. Remind me to ask Cassandra for some more curses. Mine are getting a little old. "Sorry, Mother. I just had to finish the book I was reading." Alcina sighed, mostly because she could understand where Bela was coming from. While she had enough self-control to stop herself from pulling an all-nighter, Alcina definitely was a bookworm as well. "It must have been a good book, then." Bela nodded. "It was a psychological horror novel. I'm starting to find that I really love that genre." Before her daughter could go off on a very long tangent about what she liked in the book and what she thought could've gone better, Alcina remembered something. "You know, your Aunt Donna really likes that style of book. Since nobody's up yet, you could call her and see if she's read the book yet. She'll probably be better to talk to than I am." Bela started to swarm away, but she turned around right at the very end. "Don't say that, Mother. You're the best person in the whole world to talk to." With that, she swarmed away, leaving Alcina to make a mental note that her daughter would be excellent at sweet-talking her. So one of my daughters is persuasive, one of them is perceptive, and one of them's Cassandra. That girl can do so much I don't even know where to begin. And then there's Seline… Speaking of her youngest daughter, she walked downstairs and… Right into the wall. "Oh dear, are you alright?" Seline nodded blearily, her hair impressively bed-headed. "GoomorniMama." Alcina tried not to laugh at her daughter's hair and failed attempt at speech. "Good morning to you as well. Are you excited for today?" Seline blinked, more awake but still confused. "Huh?" Alcina smiled. "You're visiting your Uncle Salvatore's reservoir today!" That got Seline fully awake. "Oh yeah! I totally forgot! I am very very very excited!" Her happy outburst got Daniela to swarm downstairs. "You are way too peppy at this ungodly hour in the morning." Cassandra swarmed after her. "YOU are way too awake at this ungodly hour in the morning." Before they could start bickering, Seline spun around. "Daniela! Cassandra! I'm going to get to see Uncle Salvatore's reservoir!" Cassandra smirked. "Just don't do what Dani did when she visited-" Daniela whacked her upside the head. "We said we wouldn't mention it anymore!" Cassandra accepted that she had just made a biiiiiiiiiig mistake, and prepared herself to deal with Daniela.
Seline looked through the clothes that Donna had made her. Every single one of them was so amazing, but she had no clue what to wear to a reservoir. I don't even know what a reservoir is… She realized that knowing what a reservoir is might be something essential, so she went to find Bela. As to be expected, she was in the library. "Hey, Bels!" Bela was in a very confusing position, where she was half upside-down on a chair. "...How are you reading like that?" Her sister looked at her, then looked back at the book. "Don't ask questions you don't want to know the answer to. Anyways, what did you need?" Seline was still a bit hung up on the impossible reading position, but she remembered a question. "What's a reservoir?" Bela sighed, got up, and walked towards a very thick book. She flipped it open, revealing it to be a dictionary. "Reservoir, a large natural or artificial lake used as a source of water supply." (CREDIT TO FOR THE DEFINITION, I DON'T KNOW IF I NEED TO GIVE CREDIT BUT I DON'T WANT TO GET IN TROUBLE.) Bela knew that her definition didn't really clear it up, so she gave her own version. "A big lake." Now that it made sense, Seline thanked Bela and ran back to her room. "So, a big lake… I probably shouldn't wear something long." Unfortunately, she still had no clue what to wear, so Daniela came in to help her. She was the one who had the best fashion sense (or that's what she said, at least), and she was able to pick out a cute outfit. "Now, if you go swimming, don't think a piece of seaweed is a tentacle. NOT that I have any experience with that. And tell Uncle Salvatore we all said hi, alright?" Seline nodded, trying not to laugh at Daniela's ironic advice. "I'll race you downstairs!" Daniela was already swarming away, but the two were actually pretty well matched. They made it downstairs at the exact same time, and looked at each other. "So, who wins?" This turned into a furious rock-paper-scissors tournament, where Seline was eventually declared the winner. "Nooooooooooo, I lost! I never lose!" Cassandra ran over to them, this moment being WAY TOO GOOD to pass up on. "Whaaaaaat, Daniela lost at something?! It's a miracle!" Karl, who had been outside talking to Alcina, burst into the room. "WHAAAAAAT, DANI LOST AT SOMETHING?!" Alcina and Bela were the only ones not really amused. "We live in a family of idiots, don't we Mother?" Alcina nodded, but affectionately. "They're our idiots, though, and we love them."
(A/N: Hello, my fluff muffins! Once again, sorry for the slightly delayed post. The reason for this is I was at my high school orientation! So, with the new school year, posts will probably be delayed. So, I'm changing my upload schedule for once every 5 days to once a week. It doesn't sound like that much of a change, but the 2 extra days really help me out. Thank you for understanding! Anyways, I hope all of you do great in school or work, whichever you do. You'll do amazing, and I know that you'll show everyone how awesome you are! ^_^)
