Hello, everypony! Welcome to Chapter 25 of "The Day I Went to Equestria". Now I'm gonna try to keep this introduction as short as possible so we can get to the story. We are now going to see the aftermath of Kaleb and Spike's fight. What will happen to them? Well, let's find out shall we? Oh and one more thing; my friend's OC Drake is not a "Sword Art Online" character. He's a character from multiple universes. Now with that being said, Let's begin. Disclaimer: I DO NOT own "MLP: FIM" or my friend's character. I only own Kaleb.

Chapter 25: Drake

It had been an hour since Kaleb and Spike's fight and it was almost nighttime. Twilight was talking to Spike and she was definitely not happy.

"Just what the hell were you thinking, Spike?" She asked, "Attacking Kaleb like that. Do you realize what you could have done to him?"

"I know, Twilight." Said Spike, "But I couldn't let him... I couldn't let him..."

"Couldn't let him what?"

"I... I... I couldn't let him take Rarity away from me."

The furious alicorn continued to glare at the little dragon.

"Hm. So at the end of the day, that's what this was all about. Jealousy. You attacked Kaleb on purpose. And for WHAT?! All because he was at Rarity's before you and got a little too close to her?!" She asked.

"Twilight, let me explain!" Spike cried.

"NO, SPIKE!" Twilight shouted, "Even if you had a logical and reasonable explanation that I cared to listen to, it still wouldn't change what you did. I am very ashamed of you. How could you just go and assault Kaleb? He's you're friend, damn it! "

She sighed.

"Spike. I never thought I'd say this, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to stay away from Rarity."

"For how long?" Spike asked.

"Forever." Said Twilight.

Spike's eyes widened and he gasped.

"But... But, Twilight..."

"No buts, Spike. You've left me no other choice. Besides, it wouldn't have worked out anyway considering how different you two are. She's a pony and you're a dragon. And the sooner you realize that, the better off you two will be."

Twilight then walked to Spike's right and pointed her wing to the entrance of the throne room.

"Now... Go to your room and think about what you did." She said.

Spike opened his mouth to say something but stopped. He knew it was no use. He hung his head and sighed. He then began walking out of the throne room, hot tears streaming down his face. Starlight, having heard the conversation, walked towards her teacher.

"Twilight, don't you think that's going a little too far?" She asked, angrily.

Twilight turned to her.

"I'm sorry, Starlight. But he needs to learn his lesson." She said.

"Lesson? What bucking lesson?!"

Suddenly, they heard a voice.

"It's won't do any good, Starlight. Once the Princess makes up her mind, it's final." It said.

They turned to see Drake standing there.

"Drake?! Wh-What are you doing here?" A surprised Twilight asked.

"I came here to stop you two from arguing before it got any worse. And if I were you, I'd listen to your student. She has a valid point. Plus, I know a lot about dragons." The man said.

"How do you know about dragons?" Twilight asked, skeptically.

Just then, Drake took off his poncho. What the duo saw shocked them beyond belief. The man had light blue dragon feet with white toe claws, azure colored dragon scales on his arms and his feet, azure colored horns, azure colored scales on half his face, elvish ears, and azure dragon wings. He also carried a pendent of his mother. There was an uncomfortable silence for a minute. Finally, Drake broke the silence.

"Because I'm a dragon myself." He said, "I can transform at any given time, but I choose not to because people would want to use me for nefarious purposes."

"Why do you look like that even though you're part human?" Asked Starlight.

"I'm a mutt." He said and chuckled, "But all kidding aside, I look like this because my mother was a full-blooded dragon and my dad was human. Hence is why these elf ears make me look elf-like because my father was a human and my mother was a full-blooded dragon. The good thing about having elf ears is that they give me enhanced hearing. I can even hear other people's heartbeats. For example, I can hear both of your heartbeats right now."

Twilight and Starlight looked down at their chests and then at each other.

"Wow." They both said in unison.

Drake then started walking away.

"Where are you going?" Asked Twilight.

The draconian glanced back at the duo.

"I'm going to talk to Spike. Hopefully he's not too sad. Just think about what I said, okay?"

And just like that, he walked out of the throne room. We cut to Rainbow's house where Kaleb was being patched up. He had some Band-Aids on his face from Spike's claws.

"Okay." Rainbow said, "Let's take a look at your... your uh..."

"Hand." Said Kaleb.

"Right, hand."

Rainbow took his left hand and looked it over.

"So this is what a hand is." She thought, "I've heard Twilight mention them before, but I've never seen one up close. Heck, I've never even saw one at all."

Kaleb opened his hand and when Rainbow got a good look at it, she cringed. The inside of the hand wasn't scratched up too bad, but it was still bleeding. She also saw a little chunk of Spike's claw in it.

"Oooooh. Looks like I'll have to get the tweezers." She said.

"Way ahead of ya, Dash." Said Gilda.

The duo turned to Gilda who had the tweezers. She handed them to her friend.

"Thanks, G."

The pegasus looked at the boy again.

"Now I'm gonna warn you; this may sting a little bit." She said.

With the tweezers, Rainbow got hold of the claw chunk and started to pull. It took a few seconds, but she got it out. This caused Kaleb to wince in pain.

"Sorry." Rainbow apologized.

"It's okay, Skittles. After all, you did tell me it was going to hurt a bit." Said Kaleb.

Rainbow chuckled.

"Heh. Yeah, I did."

The pegasus's eyes widened and she looked at her friend with her brow furrowed.

"I'm sorry but what'd you just call me?" She asked.

"Skittles."

Rainbow raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"Skittles?"

Kaleb nodded.

"Yeah."

"What's Skittles?" Gilda asked.

"Yeah." Rainbow said, "It's not some humanish insult is it?"

"No, of course not." Said Kaleb.

"So, what does Skittles mean?" Rainbow and Gilda asked in unison.

Kaleb was surprised.

"Wow. I didn't know you two were going to ask a question at the same time." He said, "You see, Skittles isn't a humanish insult. It's the name of a multicolored candy back on Earth with multiple flavors. I felt bad for Dash being called 'Rainbow Crash' that I came up with a cute and friendly nickname for her. So, I thought 'Skittles' would be a good one. Just like Gilda calls me wolf boy. Better to be called a friendly nickname than a mortifying one."

Rainbow thought about for a second then smiled.

"When you put it that way, you have a pretty good point." She said.

"Yeah. Definitely better than 'Rainbow Crash'." Said Gilda.

Gilda gave Rainbow the peroxide and she poured some on Kaleb's wound. He hissed in pain, but calmed down when Rainbow told him it would be fine. After that, the pegasus wrapped a bandage around his hand. Kaleb then got up from the chair he was sitting in and walked towards the door.

"What exactly are you doing, wolf boy?" Gilda asked.

Kaleb glanced back at his friends.

"I'm heading to Twilight's castle. Hopefully I can straighten this mess out. I'll talk to Twilight first, then Spike. Maybe I can get through to him." He said.

He opened the door and walked out.

"Kaleb. I sure hope to Celestia you know what you're doing." Said Rainbow.

Once Kaleb was outside, he started flying to Twilight's castle.

"I really need to make things right with Spike or nothing is going to be better. Also, I need to know more about this Drake character if I ever see him again. And Laughing Coffin. Where have I heard that name before?" He thought.

Meanwhile at Twilight's castle, Spike was in his room bawling his eyes out. Not only was he upset that Twilight yelled at him, but he was also upset that he couldn't see Rarity again. The one pony that he cared for dearly. Just then, he heard his door slowly creak open.

"Go away, Twilight. You've already said enough." He said.

He then heard footsteps coming into the room and his door shut. He got an angry look.

"Didn't you hear me, Twilight?! I said go awa-"

He heard a voice, but it wasn't Twilight's.

"It's okay, Spike. It's just me."

Spike looked to his left and heard footsteps again. And who he saw surprised him. It was Drake.

"Drake?"

The dragon man nodded.

"That's right."

"What are you doing here?" Spike asked.

"I came here to comfort you. Considering what Twilight said to you, you must be really tore up." Said Drake.

"Huh. Gee, ya think?"

Drake walked to Spike's bed and sat down next to him.

"In case you haven't already seen it, I'm part dragon." He said.

The baby dragon's eyes widened and he turned to him.

"You're part dragon?!"

Drake chuckled.

"Heh heh. That's right."

He stood up, letting Spike see his body. What Spike saw astonished him. He saw Drake's dragon feet, tail, and wings. He even saw the azure colored dragon scales on his body. He also saw his claws and sharp teeth. He saw his elf ears. He even saw his horns.

"Wow."

"I know, right?"

"How are you part dragon when you're also human?" Spike asked.

"I can easily explain that." Drake said, "A long time ago, I was born from a dragon and a human man. My father was a human pharaoh named Ramesses II and my mother was a full-blooded dragon named Sakura. When I was born, they gave me the name Hiei. Although, I sometimes go by the names Drake or Kohei."

"Well, what should I call you?" Asked Spike.

"Any name will suit me just fine."

"Well, in that case, I'll just call you Kohei."

A small smile formed on the draconian's face.

"So, how'd you end up in Equestria?"

"Well," Kohei began, "After the Black Knights killed my parents, I somehow managed to escape. When I did, I was lost and had nowhere to go. It was until I found out that I could travel to different universes."

Spike was surprised.

"You can travel to different universes? That's so awesome!" He said.

Kohei laughed a little.

"It sure is. I've traveled to so many universes, I've seen things beyond your wildest dreams. I've seen superheroes, pirates, and who knows what else. I eventually came to Equestria to transform freely."

But then he got serious.

"I've also came here because the group known as Laughing Coffin found me in the "SAO" universe and wanted to use me for nefarious purposes. The reason I joined them was because I wanted to find out who killed my girlfriend who was an elf. And I'm sad to say, I took some lives in the process."

Spike gasped.

"That means... You... Killed..."

Kohei sighed and nodded.

"That's right. I've killed some people." He said, "But I recently found out that the leader of Laughing Coffin killed my girlfriend. His name is Poh. After learning that, I know now that something has to be done. I plan to betray them really soon. I will ask you this one question on one condition."

"What?"

"Please do not tell the others that I work for an organization that kills people for fun. I will tell them myself when the time is right."

Spike nodded.

"Right."

"Now, about your fight with Kaleb, how did it start and why did you attack him?" Kohei asked.

Spike sighed.

"Well. I was going to Rarity's house The Carousel Boutique to see if she needed help and to tell her I loved her. But then I ran into someone who told me that she found somepony else to love. Then he gave me something called a record crystal. On it, I heard Rarity and Kaleb talking and I heard a smooching noise. I realized that she kissed him. The rest is history." He said.

Kohei put a hand on his chin.

"Hmm. I see. And who was this person who told you that Rarity loved someone else and gave you that record crystal?" Asked Kohei.

"He... said his name was... Johnny Black or something." Spike replied.

Kohei's eye widened. He was about to say something when he heard a door shut. He got up and walked over to Spike's door. He opened it a little and peaked out. He saw none other than Kaleb walking with Starlight towards the throne room.

"It's that man again. What is he doing here?" He thought.

He closed the door and turned to Spike.

"Who did you see, Kohei?" Spike asked.

"I saw a someone walking with Starlight. It appeared to be the man you were fighting with earlier today." Said Kohei.

"Kaleb."

"Excuse me?"

"His name is Kaleb." Spike said, "He's my friend. Or rather he was. Until I pretty much screwed things up. I doubt he'll ever forgive me. I know Twilight won't."

Kohei looked at the door again then at the baby dragon.

"Well... We won't know until we try."

The draconian opened the door and started to walk out.

"Kohei, what are you doing?" Spike asked.

"I'm going to see if I can talk some sense into Kaleb and Twilight. Maybe then they can forgive you." Said Kohei.

"Huh. I doubt it."

"Just try to have a little faith. Okay, Spike?"

And with that, Kohei walked out of the room and shut the door. Meanwhile in the throne room, Twilight was sitting in one of the chairs thinking to herself about what she said to Spike. She was wondering if she made the right decision. Before she could think any further, the doors to the throne room opened. She turned to see Starlight and Kaleb standing in the doorway.

"Princess Twilight, someone is here to see you." Starlight said, glancing at the boy.

"Oh. Okay. Let him in." Said Twilight.

Kaleb walked in.

"Hey, Twilight."

"Hello, Kaleb." Twilight greeted, "Look, sorry about what happened with Spike."

"It's okay. It's not your fault." Said Kaleb.

"Luckily, I had a nice long talk with him."

"What did you say to him?" Kaleb asked.

"Well, I told him about not attacking you and-"

"No no no no. I mean what did you tell him? What was his punishment?"

Twilight sighed.

"Well I... I told him his punishment was that he can't see Rarity anymore. Forever." She said.

Kaleb was both surprised and upset.

"You really said that to him, Twilight?" He asked.

Twilight nodded.

"Yes. I did." She said.

"But... Why?"

"I thought that if I told him to stay away from Rarity forever that it would make him not want to attack anypony anymore. In other words, I was trying to teach him a lesson."

"Lesson?! What freaking lesson?! Doing that won't teach him anything but hate. I'll tell you what it will teach him; it'll teach him that when he makes a mistake, nopony will forgive him no matter what. Not even his closest and dearest friend. Teaching Spike a lesson is one thing, but telling him to stay away from the pony he loves dearly, that's a whole new level of cruelty. Not only that, but it goes against everything you and the other element bearers stand for; friendship, acceptance, forgiveness, the whole damn thing! I know what Spike did was wrong, but you have to forgive a mistake no matter what the outcome is. I forgive him because he's my friend. Why can't you do the same here?" Kaleb said.

"I can I... I... I just need some time to think things through." Said Twilight.

"Well, you're not thinking hard or fast enough. If you're Spike's closest and dearest friend whom he knew for a long time, you need to start acting like it. If you don't lift this ban off Spike, there's a chance he may hate you forever. And believe me, THAT'S something you don't want." Kaleb said.

Suddenly, the two heard a voice.

"He's right, Twilight. I highly suggest you listen to him." It said.

Kaleb turned around to see Kohei standing in the doorway with a serious look.

"Drake? Wha... What are you doing here?" Kaleb asked, shocked.

"I'm here because I knew from the beginning that something was going on following the incident with Spike. I just had a talk with him and he fears that you two don't forgive him. I know you forgive him, Kaleb, but I just want to be sure Twilight forgives him as well. I can relate to him because I myself have been in a similar situation. I never got the chance to tell my girlfriend that I loved her. I don't want him to suffer the same fate. I also came to tell Twilight that it wasn't Spike's fault the incident happened." Kohei said.

"Well, if it wasn't Spike's fault for wanting to attack Kaleb, then what the hay happened?" Asked Twilight.

"The one who caused it was a man named Baghead A.K.A. Johnny Black." Kohei began, "He is a psychopath that likes to kill people for the utter sport of it and watch others suffer. He also works for the organization known as The Laughing Coffin."

Kaleb's and Twilight's eyes widened.

gasp* "Laughing Coffin! I remember now. They're the evil organization from the anime 'Sword Art Online'. I knew Kirito and his family were here, but why Laughing Coffin?" Kaleb thought.

"Laughing Coffin. I think I heard that name before." Twilight said, "I heard that they were from the human world from inside a game. I never thought they'd be real."

"Oh, they're real."

"Wait a minute. I remember when Spike and I fought, you said you worked for them. If that's the case, then why aren't you going to kill us?" Kaleb asked.

"Because I plan to betray them. They killed my girlfriend under Poh's orders." Kohei said.

"But how did this 'Johnny Black' cause Spike who is usually nice to turn on his friend?" Asked Twilight.

Kohei pulled out a little blue crystal.

"He used this. It's called a record crystal. It's used to record other people's conversations. And Spike said in that conversation, he heard Rarity kiss Kaleb." He said.

"Didn't he also say that he heard talking?" Asked Kaleb.

Kohei was surprised.

"Yes. How did you know that?"

"A lucky guess."

"Lucky is right." Kohei said, "What exactly did you and Rarity talk about?"

"We talked while I was helping her with things and she brushed off Spike's feelings as some silly crush. *gasp* That must've crushed Spike a great deal." Said Kaleb.

"And that's why Spike attacked you." Twilight concluded, "Oh my gosh. I feel... horrible now."

Kohei put a hand on Twilight's head.

"It's alright, Twilight. You didn't know. None of you did." He said.

"Now that we know that, we have to talk to Spike and get to the bottom of this." Said Kaleb.

He turned to Kohei and Twilight.

"Are you with me?"

The duo nodded.

"Yes!" They said in unison.

And with that, they started walking out of the throne room and to Spike's room.

Author's Note: Just when it seemed all hope was lost for Spike, Kohei and Kaleb intervened. Hopefully Spike will be willing to talk to Kaleb and Twilight just like with Kohei. What do you think of the story so far and what do you think of my friend's character? Let me know. Please be sure to read and review and be sure to keep watch for the next chapter. Constructive criticism is welcome.

Until then, see you later, everypony!
