"No, if I could, that would make my job much easier. The furries are always where you least expect them to be unless they have been easy victory ahead of them. If they think their odds of winning are high, they'll bulldoze right through us. With the temperature dropping as it is, it's either very close or has evolved into the fursona variant. How long until your backup arrives?" Lex said.

Kakashi shook her head. "They should have been here an hour ago, is there something you haven't told me?" Kakashi asked.

Lex knew she wanted a weakness or answers that could help her team. That was impossible. If the furries already had a fursona, then more than likely, they set up a base of operations. Time was ticking against them now, and soon the creatures would spread across the planet. In a few short years, they'd form a peril, decades later a horseman, and once four gathered, this world was done. That's why he was here to kill and kill until no furries were left, and then he'd go to repeat the cycle.

"Your team and I have something in common; this is my first real mission too. I've read reports, taken exams, and visited a few worlds under the protection of a supervisor. But, this is my first time out on my own leading the fight myself." Lex stood up and stared out into the darkness. "There's no point in going to wind country anymore. I thought that's where they'd be if anywhere.

Kakashi withdrew a kunai and placed it at his throat. "I'm willing to tolerate a lot of nonsense. You can be delusional and proclaim yourself to be from another world, you can say you're here to fight creatures, but if you try to lie again, I'll no longer treat you as a client. You'll be a target, do you understand?" Kakashi said.

Lex froze, and for a moment, he thought this was it, in a random world, this crazy kunoichi woman would kill him. It wasn't until she removed the kunai that he regained his composure. The feeling of being untouchable that he'd cultivated since his cultivation journey began had shattered. She'd been so quick he hadn't noticed until they could, and I was at his throat. The thin layer of chakra the edged the blade might have been able to pierce the skin and kill him for good. Sweat beaded down his face, and he sucked in a breath before blowing it out.

"Alright, the truth. Your planet is fucked. I'm certain the furries have a base of operations and capture people to bring back to transform or feast on. If they already have a fursona class and there isn't much any of you could do. If it's hunting, then there are others at their nest. Fursonas are nigh unstoppable and can heal from nearly anything except heavy doses of radiation. You feel the cold on the wind; that's the power of a fursona that has gained enough power by consuming people to manipulate the elements by existing. It's even stronger now; those reinforcements you called for are dead, devoured, and adding their power to its own." Lex said. He turned to Kakashi. "Was that what you wanted, woman? Does it help the morale to know your planet is as good as dead? Maybe if you line up and let yourself be taken, you can join the winning side. Or don't and be devoured like everyone else on this planet will be. I'll fight them until I die, or the planet is destroyed." Lex said.

Kakashi spun her kunai and returned it to her pouch. "Thank you, that is exactly what I needed to hear. You said before that a fursona wasn't a threat to you. Was that a lie?" Kakashi asked. Her eye smile and spiky gray hair didn't put him at ease at all.

Lex measured his current strength and compared it to what he knew about the fursona tier. If he used Gram, then he could kill them with a lot of effort. However, he doubted Kakashi wanted to hear that; the woman would take what he gave.

"How do you know there are more than one of the fursonas? That seems a lot to extrapolate from detecting the presence of one." Kakashi asked.

He shook his head at the kunoichi's ignorance. Once he might've thought the same thing, but his studies had shown him the true nature of the enemy. "They are a collective. While some colonies may break often form their own groups, ultimately, even the strong do not stand alone. If this was the strongest one, it would be surrounded by the infected. One stumbled into our camp, and that was it." Lex said.

Sasuki turned her nose up. "No furry is going to take me down. I'm an Uchiha. I think he's crazy; we should take him back to the leaf. I'll put him under my care until he's better; I'll even give him a room in my house." Sasuki said.

Kakashi, turning, gave an eye smile to her student. "I'm impressed in another situation that might actually have worked. But it's the middle of summer, and frost has covered the tree line." The trees around them groaned as their frost-covered limbs drooped down.

Naruko punched Sasuki in the face. "Bitch please, we both know you just want to him for yourself. But you've already had him, and so is Sakura. So it is my turn." Kakashi burst out laughing. "You tell them Naruko fair is fair," Kakashi said.

Sakura only groaned and shook her head. "Can we please get back on track? I don't care how we divide him when we get back to the village, first." Sakura said.

"Second," Sasuki said.

Naruko's mouth opened and closed in astonishment. "But it's my turn, believe it. Kakashi sensei!" Naruko yelled.

A cough from Sakura cut the hijinks. "As I was saying, let's get back on track. We have no reinforcements, and this could happen to our world. Kakashi Sensei, were you able to get in touch with the village?"

Kakashi shook her head. "The radio's signal is jammed, and I can't summon either. I sent out multiple shadow clones, but they were intercepted." Naruko already had her hands and in the cross, symbol to summon shadow clones when Kakashi stopped her. "Let's save that for our trump card," Kakashi said.

Lex pulled his sword from his bag of holding and began strapping on his armor. "So, you're like a samurai?" Sakura asked.

He'd heard of those chakra-wielding women who used long swords. They'd fallen out of style with the rise of ninja villages taking their place. Lex couldn't say he was like them at all. His armor was stolen from dead knights, his sword was taken from a legendary hero after Lex picked him down a mountain, and Lex didn't have a code. He preferred to wing it most of the time.

Seemingly from the ayther nightmare emerged. The nightmare was a stallion named Brutus and possibly the most brutal horse in existence. "Did you mean losing his dick and growing breasts like nearly everyone in our village?" Sakura asked.

Kakashi shook her head. "Not even Tsunade or any of the legendary kunoichi in history could find a way to solve that problem. Chakra will turn men into women without fail. Even dabbling would be too much, any man to go impotent after a few days of trying it." Kakashi said. There wasn't any eye smile on her face this time.

Lex mounted up, check his sword to his side, and kicked Brutus, sending them off. The kunoichi raced above him moving to the trees but can barely keep up. In the night under a new moon, Brutus was impossibly fast and soundless. Lex followed the cold to find his target, tracking it by the amount of permafrost on the trees around them.

He burst onto the scene of a blue-furred four-tailed fox furry devouring the last of her prey, a pineapple-haired kunoichi through a glacial blue tail. Brutus trampled over the permafrost and bounded behind the furry. Lex drew Gram and sliced through the tail. Blood erupted from the new stump in great spurts as the fox furry screamed.

She twisted, and with impossible speed, her talons raked against Lex's armor. Her three remaining tales struck like snakes. One open at the end like a mouth and shot after him. The other two struck and slammed into Brutus's rear. Lex sliced Gram, cutting through the tail about to devour his head. She felt all fours and bounded after them or tales stretching policy long into Brutus. Lex twisted around and cut through the final two tails freeing his steed. As they galloped away, he leaned down and caught the last kunoichi of the reinforcement team.

The creature roared in outrage, and its tales sprouted anew. Terrible gale-force winds blew around it, and the temperature plummeted. Thrust it's behind in the air where Lex could see several other lumps and gorging the base of the creature's tales. Faces pushed against the flesh as well as hands into nine, but none could break free. Lex watched in horror as they squished, and the lumps filled the creature's stomach. It threw its head back and groaned pleasure as its stomachs churned, and the lives within ravaged one another under a spell of lust.

An aura of chakra so dense that he could see it in the air wrapped around the creature forming a cloak. It yipped at him before returning to all fours and giving chase. He heard the sound suddenly of thousands of chirping birds.

From behind the creature, Kakashi emerged and thrust her hand into the creature's load of victims. Horrible pink liquids gushed out along with the victims. Instead of rushing to freedom, they turned and tried to push themselves back into the flesh as the blue furry healed rapidly.

Kakashi replaced with a log just before one of the tales devoured it. Pink slime ran over the wooden log until the object melted down into a brown puddle.

"I have such things to show all of you. Never before have I felt so complete and so in touch with everyone. Come join me, become me, and together we will be is one. There is no pain, only pleasure; you will feel so good that you'll never want to leave me. How is something that feels so good be wrong?" The creature asked. It turned to Kakashi and licked his vulpine lips.

While Kakashi distracted the creature, Lex tossed the pineapple-haired, which he up to Sakura.

Naruko made a bunch across signs and sent out an army of orange-clad kunoichi at the creature. The creature's fur stood on end, and needles of ice shot out of it in all directions. "I have been alone for as long as I can remember; the only one who showed me the light the companionship made me her tool. For her, I'll do anything. Orange girl, do you have someone like that, someone that believes in you." Kakashi tried to fight it with had you to, but a wave of the creature's hand blasted her away. Then, with the swipe of the creature's claws, the ground ripped apart. The chakra cloak around it grew denser.

The creature turned to him and shot across the battlefield. Frozen ground but nothing to his claws. Its tail shot across the distance and smashed into Lex's side. He tried to slash at it, but it slipped away before he could connect. The creature stood over him, spread his legs, and opened the labia between them.

Qi erupted around Lex, and he threw himself away from a sudden end. Waves of deadly radioactive qi danced across Gram's edge. The sword of wrath awakened drank in his power. He slashed down with all his might in the ground was torn asunder. Trees disintegrated, and the radioactive nature of his attack would destroy the environment for years to come.

Of course, he missed the creature. It shot after him all tales raised to deliver a punishing blow. He blocked them with the flat of Gram's blade. From the tips of the tails long that tongues stretched out and inched towards him. "What about you? I can sense loneliness, and you as well? Don't you want to be loved to be a part of something greater than yourself? You will feel no more pain, and you will be immortal. They down your weapon and join me forever." The creature said.

"Blah blah blah join me, forever, immortal, and be one with me. You're the same in every incarnation. Pleasure this feeling that and on and on forever. You are a parasite, a creature that cannot survive independently and must feed off others. You don't benefit your host; you turn them into pleasure craving morons and walk right into my sword. I don't mind that it makes my job easier. But don't pretend you offer anything but slavery." Lex bent his knees, took a step forward, and slashed with all his might cutting deeply into the creature.

The ice around him shook and turned into spikes. Lex grunted as his feet were impaled and towering ice mirrors descended from above, shining upon their battleground.

The creature held his wound as pink fluids drain from them. It didn't even have blood anymore; once it became a fursona, it bled pink jizz.

"My name is Haku, and I'm not a slave." The first mirror descended upon him like a comet. He blocked it with Gram and was launched deep into the ground through the ice and earth. Before he could make a stand, the other mirrors landed on top of the first, smashing him deeper into the ground like a hammer to a nail. The three mirrors rose up suddenly and spread around him.

Haku appeared between them and pointed down. "Ice Mirror Release Stardust Crusade Jutsu," Haku yelled. Light gathered in the mirrors, preparing to fire down.

"Fire Release Great fireball Jutsu," Sasuki said in a bright orange flame smashed into his to as she hovered between her mirrors. A small army of Naruko's shadow clones dug him out down to the waist before yanking him out like a carrot. They piled onto each other like ants, climbed on top of each other's back, and threw him out the hole. Lex tumbled as Haku fired a laser of energy collected from the stars themselves.

He placed his other hand on Gram's pommel. Brutus galloped by, and he leaped onto the saddle. The nightmare phased out of existence for half a second, long enough to jump onto one of the larger trees and galloped up it. Upon the canopy, Brutus charged over the treetops and leaped onto the nearest mirror. Lex shot across the gap, held Gram out, already charged with power.

She must have heard something. Haku twisted midair and struck with her tales. Lex managed to block the technique, and sparks flew between them. The bulges around the base of Haku's tails continued to shrink. Her stomach, once filled with human flesh, sank down until it was flat. Chakra erupted around Haku, stronger than ever before.

"Thank you to all the ones who joined me; we've done it we're ascending." Unfortunately, Lex didn't have a choice; he had to try and use Dragon Force. If Haku evolved into a peril, the world was over.

His body glowed with gold and after a light and his muscles bulged sudden intake of power. A smile stretched across his face, and the power flowed into Brutus as well. The flaming main of the nightmare turned black, and its once black mane turned white.

Brutus across the distance and while Haku busied herself with the evolving to the next rank. Lex took no time slashing with the fully powered Gram. The best way mirrors around him shattered into falling eyes. The treetops for kilometers around were cut away by golden blade qi. Haku's body was cut in half and filled with nuclear radiation from Lex's attack stopped her from healing. Lex and his crew free fell, but Haku wasn't dead. To destroy a pseudo-peril, he needed to erase it completely. He took a hand-off of Gram's pommel and pointed his palm at the falling creature. And orb of spiraling qi sucked in most of his Dragon Force. Golden light erupted between his fingers as a tiny star shot out and smashed into Haku's falling form.

The world lit up as if it were day and even some of the ice melted. Brutus shifted their plane of existence enough to bypass the area of effect. "You owe me three stables of mares for this and a few proud stallions," Brutus said to him as they fell. He thought he saw a piece of her tail sale into the treetops but shook the thought off as he was tired. Nothing could survive that blast. It was point-blank range.

Brutus landed hard, and Lex fell off and landed on his back. Breathing for him wasn't really necessary, but he felt like he should be starved for breath. He'd defeated a pseudo-peril.

Lex wanted to protest, but he felt too weak from the fight. It wasn't the qi usage but Dragon Force that had taken the most out of him. "That was amazing; how do you do that without chakra? Can you teach me?" Naruko asked.

Lex groaned and nuzzled the back of Naruko's neck. "No, but you can probably do the same with chakra," Lex said.

Before Lex knew it, he was alone in a large tent with Naruko. The blonde glanced at him nervously and slowly undressed him. It wasn't that he was sleepy, but he was completely drained of mental energy. Maintaining his cultivation base took everything he had. It would be a while before he was back up to full strength.

"You know I've always lived alone. For as long as I can remember, I've been by myself. I think Haku was like me before the crazy stuff got to her. You're just like me too, aren't you? You said they're all dead; what does that mean?" Naruko asked.

He helped me drive back the creatures that invaded it. After the village was saved, he locked everyone in their homes and burn the village to the ground. He would've done the same to me if I didn't escape and killed the guard. We fought on a hill overlooking my burning village; he proved stronger and stabbed me in the chest. I survived, and everyone else died." Lex said.

Tears streaked down Naruko's face. "That story was so sad; your entire village was burned."

Lex patted her shoulder. "It's all right; it happened a long time ago; I've made peace with it." Lex shrugged.

Naruko dried her face and smiled. "I know something that might cheer you up." She unzipped her orange jumpsuit to reveal an orange bra and panties.
