Hey!

Sorry for the delay last week… we went to the beach and I came home sick! I ran a fever for two weeks and trust me, that was not fun. And evidently, I can't write when I'm feverish lol… So, I hope this makes up for it. and for some reason, this was a really hard chapter to write. I literally rewrote it at least six times. And I'm not completely happy with it.

I need to thank Sohypothetically and Notanislander. They make my hot feverish mess a lot better.

And thank you for coming back to read! (more notes at the end!)

Friday…

"You know, you could do this yourself," Rey grunts as she tightens the new oil filter.

"No, I'm too old to be crawling around under there," Han answers.

"Yeah, unfortunately I have to do it," she grumbles.

"I take it you and The Kid hit it off?"

"Yeah, you could say that." Rey's glad that Ben's dad can't see how her cheeks heat up. Memories come flooding back of how many times they did it yesterday.

She's not going to tell him that Ben just left a little bit before she opened her garage.

"What did you say?"

"That he's a sweetie."

"Well, the nut doesn't fall from the tree."

Rey chuckles as she slides out from under the truck. Han offers her a hand and he pulls her to her feet. She grabs the right oil off the shelf and starts refilling. "When are you two going out again?"

"I don't know—"

"Ben."

"Mother." Why did he answer the phone? He didn't really mean to.

"When are you coming by the house? I picked up some more of those pants you like." The retired senator gushes. His mother never gushes. What is she up to?

"You did? Wait, you never go shopping—"

"I ordered them online. When do you fly out again? Did you get your Jeep fixed?" Ah the Jeep…

"Monday. They let me have the weekend off since I worked over last week and no, Rey said that it's not worth fixing."

"What are you driving then? Do you want the Tesla? I'm really surprised that I haven't met this Rey yet."

"I borrowed a truck from a friend," he says. She doesn't need to know that the friend is Rey. "You don't want me driving the Tesla and leaving it for days at a time to the airport. And I don't know why you haven't met Rey yet. Why don't you ever ride along with Dad?"

"Because he doesn't ask me to. Why don't you ask Rey if she wants to come eat with us on Sunday?"

"No, it's too soon. I've got to go mom." He doesn't give her a chance to say anything else as he hangs up. He isn't sure why his heart speeds up or his hands get clammy when they talk about Rey. But he isn't ready for Rey to meet the rest of his family when he isn't even sure how he feels about her.

But… He can't point to one particular time in his life when a female or someone made him feel this way. He doesn't even think he's that picky. He just wants someone who is going to love him the way he'll love her.

After all, he hasn't been in a relationship in a long time. A very long time.

But then he remembers how she feels. And how she tastes. And how she sounds when she comes.

And how he feels when he's with her.

Is it ok for him to admit that she chases away his darkness?

"Mom," he continues even though she's still talking. "I've got to go. I'll swing by sometime Sunday."

"Alright. dinner is at six, if you want to eat."

"I'll let you know."

"Bye, Son."

"Bye."

Saturday

"When did you move in all this stuff? I really don't remember you having any of this?" Rey grunts as she struggles to pick up Rose's box of books.

"I don't remember either," Rose huffs. "Was I here longer than we thought?"

"That's all I can figure."

Hux knocks on the open door. It's more or less to announce that he's here. "I brought some extra help."

Rey looks up to see Ben walking up behind his old friend. She feels her face light up, while Rose's hands settle on her hips. "Is that who I think it is?" she asks.

"It is," Rey answers.

"You know who this is," Hux volunteers. "This is the man also known as Kylo Ren."

"Yeah, I can figure that one out," Rose snarks. "Why do you wear a mask on stage then?"

It then occurs to Rey that she meant to ask Ben that. But he's really good at distracting her. "Yeah, why is that?" She adds.

"May as well tell them. They'll figure it out anyway." Hux exhales. "Women always do."

Rey shoots Rose a questioning look. Rose shrugs. "My mother is a very important person," Ben begins. "And to put it simply, a lot of people would be very interested in my hobby."

"I can see that," Rey says. She turns away from her friends before they can see her face. She's nobody. Why would the son of a former senator want her?

"It should be against the law for pizza to be this good," Rey whispers to her piece of pie before she takes a delicate bite. This pizza is almost as good as the last orgasm Ben gave her.

Almost.

"I can't believe we got all my stuff moved in one day," Rose says before she takes a bite of her pizza. She and Rey sit outside on Hux's patio while Ben and Hux do something inside. When the pizza got here, the girls grabbed it, and went outside.

"Of course, we did," Rey says. "I'm going to miss you. It's going to be weird living by myself."

"Hey Armie!" Rose shouts, making Rey jump in surprise. "Rey's moving in too!"

"Alright," he says as he comes to the French doors with a drink in his hand. Rey looks over his shoulder as Ben comes up behind him. "Are we moving her stuff next? Is she taking the guest room? Or moving into the master with us?" Armie asks with a wink.

"What are you drinking?" Rey ignores what he just said and stares intrigued at the amber liquid in the glass he holds.

"It's an old-fashioned." Hux holds it out to her. "Try it."

"She can try mine," Ben offers her his lowball glass as he comes through the door.

Her heart flips when he winks at her as she accepts his offering. She isn't sure if he's been acting strange while they loaded and unloaded Rose's stuff. He didn't say much as the three of them teased one another like they usually do.

"That's good," Rey says, licking the whiskey mixture off her lips.

"Do you want me to make you one too?" Ben asks. The way his eyes light up makes her think that he wants to do something for her.

"I have to drive home. I'll take a raincheck though."

"Can you drop me off at my house when you go?" Ben asks.

His question seems innocent, until he winks at her when Hux or Rose isn't looking. Does he still want me? After he left her house on Friday morning, she hasn't heard from him. She didn't even know that he was helping Rose until he walked in the house with Hux this morning.

She doesn't want to admit how alone it made her feel. Instead of asking him why, she says, "sure." Instead.

Maybe he doesn't want me like I thought he did. She can't help but think. Oh well. She tries to dismiss how her heart hurts and how she has to blink back her tears.

"Come on," Rose offers as she stands up. "Come help me?" Rey follows her into the living room where Rose's boxes are everywhere. "Grab that box, please?" Rose asks. Then Rey walks behind her down a hallway leading away from the guys. Once they are in the room, Rose whispers, "Shut the door."

Rey elbows it closed, then sets the box down on the bed at the same time Rose does. "What room—"

"What happened between you two?"

Rey can feel her face warming up and looks down at the boxes. "He came over Thursday. We messed around, and ordered supper. He left Friday morning before I started work. This is the first time I've seen him since then."

"That's weird. The way Armie was talking, I thought Kylo, huh Ben really liked you," she pauses for a moment. "I bet he's scared."

"Of me?"

"Of being hurt? I'm surprised he asked you to take him home."

"Yeah, me too. Should I still do it?"

"Heck yeah. Find out if he likes you or not."

"And how do I do that?" Rey asks. She hasn't been in many relationships, so all this is truly new to her. So much for letting someone else take charge.

"Body language," Rose sings as she swings her hips like a famous Disney villain that they watched on repeat when they were five. "Really though. From what I saw today, he's interested." She sets the box on the floor, and sits on the bed. "Sit," she commands. "I know you didn't see him, you were helping me, but he never took his eyes off of you. And several times, I thought he was going to start talking to you, but then he wouldn't, or Armie would interrupt. Maybe you just need to come out and ask him?"

"But isn't that the opposite of being romantic?"

"No? One thing I've learned with people who are into any kind of BDSM, they talk about everything. And they negotiate everything in a relationship. When Armie asked me to move in, we had to talk about it for an hour. But now, we know what we each need."

"I didn't know." Rey pauses before she covers her face with her hands. "Why is this so hard?"

"It's not though. It's been easier than a typical relationship I think," Rose adds. "I know that at any time I can tell Armie that we need to talk. He'll stop everything and talk." Rey uncovers her face in time to see that dreamy look Rose gets when she's talking about Hux. "And he really listens." Her face lights up and she hops off the bed then she grabs Rey's hand and pulls her up too. "Come on."

"No, no," Rey chants. She has an idea of what Rose is about to do, and she would rather go out there naked than what's about to happen.

But then there's a big part of her that wants to know what he'll say.

When they return to the living room, Hux and Ben are sitting. Hux in his overstuffed lazy recliner, and Ben on the matching couch. "Sit down Rey," Rose says. Rey, not sure what else to do, sits down on the couch beside Ben.

"Rose?" Hux questions.

"Sir," Rose says as she approaches his chair. Rey watches as Rose gives him a look she's never seen before. Hux returns the grin, and opens his arms. Rose crawls into his lap, and tucks herself under his chin.

Something tightens in Rey's chest and she realizes that she wants someone to hold her like that. And not just during aftercare. She glances at Ben and her stomach twists when he meets her eyes. She wants to say something, but he doesn't give her a chance because he reaches out his hand to her.

She extends her hand to him. He hesitates for a long moment but before she has a chance to pull her hand back, he takes it in his. A warm shiver starts where they touch and then he pulls her to him. She wiggles to help herself across the cushions, and ends up at his side.

He throws his arm over her shoulders and she lets herself lean against him. His t-shirt is soft under her cheek. Before she can get too comfortable, Rose says "Sir, Ben and Rey might need our help."

"They do?" Hux looks over at them. "What happened?"

She can't see the look Ben must shoot them but by the way Rose hides her face it must not be good. Rose whispers in Hux's ear and even though she tries to hear, she can't even read her lips.

"What is she saying?" Ben murmurs in her ear.

"No idea," she mutters back.

Rose finishes, and tucks her head under his chin again. Hux pulls her tight. Instead of continuing what Rose said in the bedroom, he says, "Thank you both for helping us. We'd probably still be moving boxes if it wasn't for you."

"Is everything alright?" Ben asks, unafraid to hear what Rose said.

"It will be," Hux says. "Would anyone like more pizza? Another drink Ben?"

"No, I'm good," Ben answers. "Rey?"

Rey watches Rose who peeks at them. "I'm ok."

"Something has been brought to my attention," Hux begins like he's in one of his business meetings. He looks over at them. "Ben, Rey expects you to act like this is a normal relationship. Remember, she has no experience in the lifestyle." Ben's hand squeezes her shoulder and she looks up at him. "I'm not sure what that all entails, but you need to talk to her about that." Hux pauses long enough to kiss Rose, who beams up at him. "Rey, Ben is not a normal guy. He likes to tie pretty girls up. He's actually very good at it. But he's never been in a relationship that's lasted longer than a month at least since I've known him. I'm not sure why, I'm guessing it's a combination of his work schedule and how he is. I've been friends with him for a long time, and I think he's amazing actually. It's like he's magic."

The butterflies in her stomach agree with Hux.

"Are you finished?" Ben asks with a smirk.

"I am," Hux replies as he gives Rose another kiss. Rey doesn't miss the look they exchange, and as she elbows Ben, Hux continues, "Now if you don't mind, my new roommate and I are going to go play twenty questions."

Ben stands, and offers Rey his hand. For the second time that night, she accepts it. He pulls her to her feet but Hux and Rose stay seated. "Bye, you two," Rey offers.

Rose smiles and winks. "I'll talk to you later."

Rey waits until they are both in her truck before she says, "That was interesting."

"It was," Ben chuckles. "Will you come in for a little bit?"

"Yes," she answers. It only takes her a minute to get to Ben's, and even with the summer time change, it's already dark when she follows him in. She didn't come in the other day when he asked her to, more excited to drive his Trans Am instead. But now that she's here, she's pleasantly surprised how much she likes his house.

They go in through the garage, and a warm white kitchen welcomes her. It's traditional, but she can tell that this space belongs to him. He only pauses long enough to hang his keys up, then he motions for her to follow him.

The living room is the same shade of white, and while it's clean, she loves how there's a throw on the couch and pictures of his life framed on the walls. Knickknacks line his shelves. All this makes her want to relax with a book. "I like your house."

He drags his fingers through his black waves. "Thank you." he pauses and looks lost before he starts again, "I didn't mean to make you feel—" he stops and for once, she keeps quiet wondering what he's going to say. "Sit down," he commands in that voice that makes her wet.

She sits and he begins to pace. "When I saw you the other night, watching me out in the audience at Twisted, I just knew that I needed to touch you. Then once I started talking to you, I-I-I got scared."

"Scared?"

"I don't do well in relationships. Which is ironic as hell considering my parents. Dad, even though she drives him crazy, is utterly devoted to mom. And she loves him with everything she is even though she thinks she has to save the galaxy."

"What happened?"

He stops and looks at her. "She cheated on me with my best friend."

"How long ago?" She asks not moving even though she wants to hug him.

"Several years ago. They are happily married now expecting their second kid."

"Damn."

He comes to sit beside her on the couch. "But then there's you. I know this sounds corny as hell, but I've never met anyone like you."

"You've never met a mechanic before?"

"My uncle Chewy is a mechanic, but he's not as beautiful as you." She snorts, and he chuckles.

"Thank you?"

He takes her hand and kisses her knuckles. For some reason, when he does that, her heart speeds up. "I've gotten used to the lifestyle, where everything is talked about and agreed on before anything happens."

"Do you want to do that with me?" Rey asks. "What about letting things happen? I'm more of a go-with-the-flow kinda girl."

"We can still do that. Just like if we go to Twisted. We only scene with each other."

"Do we only go to Twisted with each other?"

He's quiet for a moment. "If that's what you want."

"I think so?" She looks away. "What else?"

He leans in, and she can't help but to return his grin as he says, "I'm the only one who gets to tie you up."

"Ok," she says with a chuckle of her own. "I can agree with that."

"Can I kiss you?" he whispers, and his request takes her breath away. She nods and leans in, but instead of kissing her there, he tugs on her hand that is still in his. He doesn't stop until she's on his lap. "That's better."

He looks into her eyes and cups her cheeks. He smiles and she finds herself returning it. He rubs his nose against hers and she can't tear her gaze away from his. Her heart beats faster as his lips find hers.

She's kissed him several times over the past couple of days. But this kiss is different. The way his lips move against hers, the way he only deepens the kiss but only after she opens her mouth to his. The way his hands grip her...

He tastes like hope.

She wraps her arms around his neck and she's the one who deepens the kiss. He moans into her mouth and the noise he makes because of her… she's the one who stops kissing, but keeps her lips against his when she asks, "Ben? Can we?"

"Are you sure?"

"I need you," she whispers, stealing another kiss.

"Do you want to go to the bedroom?"

"Yes," she mutters as she kisses his neck. He tugs on her shirt and she lets him pull it over her head. Next, she's doing the same for him. He stands with her in his arms and she keeps on kissing him while he walks down a dark hallway.

He fumbles for a light before he sets her down. She spares a quick glance around, and sees that his room matches the rest of the house and fits him somehow. It's neat and tidy but touches of his life scatter around the room.

He distracts her when he unhooks and pulls down her shorts. The button of his pants loosen easily, and she tugs them down too.

In a matter of seconds, they are naked and reaching for each other. He backs her up, and she retreats until her knees hit his bed. She's tumbling and he's following. She scoots back, and he guides her to where her head is on his pillow.

"You are so beautiful." She tears up at his admission. "I'm sorry I—"

She interrupts him with a kiss of her own. Her fingers find his waves and she tugs until he's on top of her. His lips never leave hers as she parts her legs. Her hand finds his hardness and this time she's guiding him to her.

"I need you," she whispers as he pulls open the bedside table. He retrieves the foil pack and tears it with his teeth. They're a tangle of hands as she tries to help him… then he's ready and he enters her in one swift movement that takes her breath away.

They move together and she clings to him. "I love the way you feel."

"You feel good too." he grunts as he speeds up.

"Touch me," she begs. His hand finds her clit and she's so worked up she comes before he does. Her moan triggers his orgasm. He collapses and pulls her close to him. They are curled around each other when his phone chimes.

"What time is it?" He asks.

"Late? It's at least ten, isn't it?"

He reaches for the cell, and holds it over them so they both can see who texted. She doesn't recognize the name but he does as he reads the text out loud, "I need to talk to you…"

"Who is that?"

"That's Peeta Mellark, the owner of Twisted."

Yeah, I know.

If you've read my other fanfics, then you know that I come from the Hunger Games fandom. Then Reylo happened. But I wrote a fic several years ago named Twisted. It's still my most read fanfic. When I got the idea for this one, it just felt natural that Peeta and Katniss went on ahead and opened a place for their kinky friends. That's why I named the club Twisted. And why Effie is there.

I know also at this point, that several of you may be like, "Eww. What is she doing?" Don't worry, this will not be turning into a THG fic. The next chapter does have Peeta and Katniss at the beginning, but then that's it. The rest will be Reylo and their friends. You'll see more in the next chapter why Peeta and Katniss showed up… and don't worry, they like Ben and Rey too.

I hope you still enjoyed it, and will come back to read the rest. I'm also working on a high school reunion story that is actually breaking my own heart. It's so sweet. I want to get more done on it before I start posting. I also have some Reylo drabbles coming up too. it feels so good to have words again! this past year was hard and it's still hard on everyone. Stay healthy, and don't get sick like I did! That was awful!
