The history of Uzushio
There once was a Shinobi village known as Uzushio where it was also the capital city of the Land of Whirlpools, It was founded by just one Shinobi Clan, the Uzumaki Clan who use to live in the Land of Fire where they were one half of the legendary Senmaki Clan while the other half was the Senju Clan. Ever since the age of Shinobi had began thanks to the Sage of Six Paths giving mankind the power of Chakra the Senmaki Clan has always been at war with the Uchiha Clan but eventually some members within the Senmaki Clan wanted to leave the Land of Fire before both Clans end up wiping each other out or another clan does it when they are in a weakened state because of their consent fighting however the other members saw this as cowardly and they refuse to leave with them especially from the Uchiha Clan.
So the legendary Senmaki Clan was divided into two separate Clans with those who decided stay in the Land of Fire took up the 'Sen' part of their former name and they became known as the Senju Clan while those who left to travel to the Land of Whirlpools took up the 'maki' part of their former name and they became known as the Uzumaki Clan.
Many years later at the end of the Warring Era Hashirame Senju the leader of the Senju Clan and one of the founder's of the Village Hidden in the Leaf Konoha formed an alliance with Uzushio and though this alliance Hashirame married Mito Uzumaki, the daughter of Ashina Uzumaki who was the leader of the Uzumaki Clan.

The Uzumaki Clan were renowned throughout the entire Shinobi world for their great Fūinjutsu skills however it also led to their destruction because during the Second Great Ninja War three Shinobi villages Hoshi, Kusa, Taki who were all jealous of Uzushio as it was being call the sixth great nation's and so they attack and those who survived the villages destruction scattered across the globe seeking refuge.
However before the fall of Uzushio the clan leader of the Uzumaki Clan had sent Kushina Uzumaki to Konoha so she could become their Jinchuuriki for the Kyuubi because only someone who possess a strong body could contain the tailed beast which every single member of the Uzumaki and Senju Clans possessed as well as she also possesses a unique ability that only few members of the Uzumaki Clan have which was Chakra mold where she can mold her Chakra into chains that can restrain and suppress anyone else's Chakra including the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox.
With the Senju Clan
The First Hokage Hashirama Senju and his wife the first Jinchuuriki for the Kyuubi Mito Uzumaki had two son's who were named after Hashirama's brothers who were killed during the Warring Era with their first born son name was Kawarama Senju after Hashirama's older brother who would eventually have two children of his own a daughter Tsunade Senju and a son Nawaki Senju, Hashirama and Mito second son was name Itama Senju after Hashirama's older brother who would eventually had a son of his own name Arashi Senju and he would also have a son name Minato Senju.
The Second Hokage Tobirama Senju the younger brother of Hashirama had a daughter name Mina Senju who married Akio of the Hatake Clan where she took up his last name and became Mina Hatake and they had a son together name Sakumo Hatake who would marry Momoko Senju and they eventually had a son of his own name Kakashi Hatake.
With the Uchiha Clan
Back during the Warring Era Izuna of the Uchiha Clan had a son before he was killed by Tobirama who's name was Kagami Uchiha and after Konoha was founded Kagami became one of Tobirama's six students because even after the Senju and the Uchiha Clans formed their alliance Tobirama still had distrust for the Uchiha after fighting against for most of his life and Hashirama assigned Kagami to Tobirama's team to improve his relationship with the Uchiha Clan by having one as a student.
Kagami would eventually get married to Hisaki Uchiha and they would have two children of his own with their first born being a son who's name was Fugaku Uchiha and the other was a daughter who's name was Akarui Uchiha. Akarui would eventually get married to Kurai Uchiha where they would have a son together who's name was Shisui Uchiha and as Fugaku he would get married to Mikoto Uchiha and they would have a son together as well who's name was Itachi Uchiha.
(So in short in this story Naruto is the Great Grandson of Hashirama Senju, while Kakashi is the Great Grandson of Tobirama Senju and Sasuke is the Great Grandson of Izuna Uchiha)
