Location/Line Break

I've been a fan of crossover fics for a while now and this idea popped into my head recently, it was inspired by Stargate: Galactic Imperium by VexMaster. It is listed as a Star Wars crossover but it will be a bit before we get there, the bulk of the story should be focused in the Star Wars Galaxy though. Please let me know what you think.

I do not own any of the works I include in my writing.

I blinked, I was staring at the ceiling, slowly I sat up and looking around I saw that I was still at Riley's, a tavern not to far from my house. I had stopped by after work for a burger and a beer and a fight had broken out and I remember a pool ball flying towards me, I thought I had dodged it but maybe I had gotten hit. "Fucking douchebags." I muttered, at least my head didn't hurt, I stood up and noticed police and paramedics had arrived. "Great, not what I was hoping would happen at the end of my day." A paramedic moved towards me and I put my hands up. "I'm cool just hit my head I think."

"Mike I've got one down here." She yelled back to her partner, I and looked behind me but no one was there. I looked down any my eyes went wide, underneath me was me or at least my body.

"What the fuck!" I jumped back, noticing my feet came out of my chest. "What the fuck is going on!"

The female paramedic crouched down next to me and checked my neck, she frowned and pulled out scissors to cut open my shirt. "I don't have any vitals."

I watched and shook my head. "What the fuck is this?" I crouched down to her. "Hey, hello." I waved my hand in front of her but didn't see any reaction. "No way." Nervously I reached my hand out and it passed right into hers. "Shit!" I fell back in shock. "Holy fuck am I ghost?"

"That would be accurate." I jumped and looked to the bar, there was a man sitting at it in a black suit with a black collared shirt and a red tie. He had long black hair that went to his neck and a well-trimmed black beard. "This would also be what you refer to as an out of body experience."

"Who the fuck are you?" I asked as I stood up, though I moved back a step.

He smiled and stood. "Bethos." He held his hand out to me and stepped towards me, I looked at it for a second before slowly reaching out and shaking it.

"How can I touch you?" I asked. "Are you a ghost as well?"

"No." He chuckled and shook his head. "I am a god." I looked at him shocked. "Yes, hard to believe I know, and no this in not my original form, I have taken it to make it simpler to speak with you." He looked down at himself. "Though I do like the style of your human clothes, my origin species wear armor and protective clothing at all times, nothing that is functional or stylish."

"Holy shit." I muttered. "I mean…holy shit." I couldn't think of anything else to say about it, I started to take deep breaths.

He chuckled again. "Completely understandable." Raising his right hand, it glowed red, my mind started to clear and I calmed down. "There we go."

"What just happened?" I asked. "I was freaking out, now I'm as calm as if this were a casual conversation?"

"Extremely powerful god." He smirked and pointed to himself. "A little mind manipulation to ensure our conversation isn't inhibited by your emotions." He looked down. "And I would say good timing as they have declared your death."

I looked down and saw the paramedics removing the defibrillator pads from my body, they both had grim looks and I knew that meant I was dead. "Holy shit I really am dead….and I don't care." I frowned and looked at him. "I don't think this is healthy."

"You'll be fine." He replied with a wave of his hand. "Now on to other business." He snapped his fingers and I saw a spark of red before everything but the walls and tables disappeared. "So, you've died….obviously…and now have a chance to be reborn." He smiled big at me.

"….wait…so…are you like, God God?" I ask, wondering what was going on.

"No, nor am I any god or divine being you have ever heard of." He walked past me and sat at a table, gesturing for me to join him. "Now I know you are aware, although in a limited fashion, of the multiverse theory." I slowly nodded. "I am a god from a different universe, my power has risen high enough that I am able to travel through them. Now I'm sure you are wondering why I'm doing this and the answer is two-fold, entertainment and strength." He smirked.

"So…you didn't kill me, did you?" That would be annoying if I died for his entertainment.

"I did not." Bethos replied. "I am sure this will sound odd but even amongst gods there are rules, set by beings older and more powerful then ourselves. One such rule is we cannot interfere directly with a world where we are not known, so killing you would be against that." He explained. "And unlike your movies and tv shows there is no way to trick them or do it without them noticing, trust me it's all been tried and did not end well for anyone who tried."

"It does seem odd." It was surprising but given I was talking and seeing my dead body I was willing to go with it, I also figured his mind trick thing was making it easier. "So, what exactly are you talking to me for?"

"Well as I said the multiverse exists, so much that almost every place and universe you believe to be fictional does exist or will exist." My eyes went wide. "Now while I cannot directly interfere or interact with worlds, I can send a champion to do so." He gestured to me.

"Wait like everything?" I asked and he nodded. "How is that possible, I mean things were created by a person on Earth how can it actually exist in a different universe?"

He sighed. "Of course, you're going to be one of those." He rubbed his temples. "Look we divine beings all have different ideas on what will entertain us, some enjoy bringing life to the creations of others."

"Holy fuck." I muttered. "So do they like, gain power by bringing fiction to reality?"

"No." He replied. "Anyway, that's off topic and we could spend hours, days even, discussing the intricate details of why they do this. I want to know if you do or do not want to become a champion for me?"

"Well…" I paused taking everything he had told me in. "What exactly would I be doing as your champion?"

"Well as I mentioned we all have different ideas on how to entertain ourselves." He smiled big. "Mine happens to be taking people and watching them move and interact with different dimensions they normally would never travel to."

"Whoa." It was an odd thing but I could see it being entertaining. "What exactly do you expect me to do?"

"Anything you want." My eyes started to widen. "Go where you want, take what you want, help who you want and do whatever you want." He had a mad gleam in his eyes now. "And don't try to tell me you're not at least somewhat interested; I wouldn't be here if you weren't."

I wasn't sure how long I sat there looking at him, but I couldn't deny the words he was saying as easily as I wanted to. I've always liked the idea of becoming a leader or ruler of some kind, a part of me always wondered what it would be like to be a conquer as well. With the possibility of endless dimensions, it was very tempting to take the offer. "I don't know, don't get me wrong I'm very tempted but I don't know if I can keep you entertained just going to dimensions and helping the good guys, I assume you want more than a fellow hero." I sighed. "I couldn't truly change anything because deep down I'm a good person and would do what's right."

He grinned. "Some jump at the chance and then end up not keeping me entertained enough." He pointed his finger at me. "But you, you understand that I'm not just about changing something minor or adding something to get the same ending. What I want is true change, maybe you taking something of significance and causing a massive problem, killing someone vital or taking them away, destroying key facilities or locations." He shivered. "Just thinking about it excites me." He chuckled a bit and looked back at me. "As for your conscience well, we can solve that." His hand started glowing red again. "A simple wave of my have and it disappears, you still have emotions and all that, but you could murder a child and not lose a bit of sleep." He spun the glowing hand.

"Well fuck." I was fully wide-eyed staring at him now, that information was a game changer.

"Indeed." He chuckled. "Now with that issue changed what do you say? Become my champion?" He held up his right hand. "Or shall I move on to my next candidate, leaving you to move forward into the afterlife." He asked as he held up his left hand.

"I'll do it." I answered quickly, with no conscience I could do anything I wanted without worrying about how it would affect me. That with not knowing what was truly waiting for me in the afterlife was not a good feeling.

"Excellent." Bethos said with a big smile. "I am sure this is the start of a beautiful friendship." He leaned back in his chair. "Now onto the next step, as a champion you will need some way to move through the dimensions, universes and realities. Depending on what you would like it could be a device, weapon, power, or ability. Which would you prefer?"

"Do any of those options have set sizes or limits to how big a gateway or portal would be?" I asked, wondering what kinds of things I could move through it. "Hopefully it's like a sling-ring from MCU and I can alter it."

"You will be able to alter it's size no matter the option, I should caution though that it will form in the dimension you are wishing to visit at the same time." Bethos answered.

"So that means people could discover or notice it while I'm moving through." I said and he nodded.

"You understand, good." He had a small smile. "As for location, you will only be able to create one in front of you and it will be vertical."

"Damn." I thought, it was good I could change the size as that would help but I couldn't steal buildings. "Wait can I move it around after forming it?" I asked.

"No, once created it will stay stationary." Bethos replied, I sighed but nodded.

"Alright." I said and tried to think which option would be the best.

"Before you decide I should mention, as this is already a reincarnation, I am able to change you from a human to something else." He answered. "Simply tell me what race you would like to be and where you would like to be reborn. That might help make your decision."

I blinked at him, that was big, but I didn't want to jump the gun. "Being powerful was one thing but I want more than just personal power, if I'm going to multiple dimensions, I need technology" I liked the idea of starting my own world, possibly even an empire if I could get my hands on the right technology. Plus with more technology I could improve myself and others in my army, either with tech or powers." So the question became was there a race with access to technology of that level already. "Star Trek, Star Wars and Stargate are the sci-fi shows I know the best and have advanced technology so which race was the best in them? I highly doubt I can become a Q." Suddenly it hit me. "Ancients, or rather Lanteans." They were the most advanced race in Stargate, having built the stargates and even after their disappearance not many races could deal with leftover technology from them. "If I become say a Lantean from Stargate, will I already have access to their knowledge and technology, or do I have to learn on my own?"

He hummed before his eyes glowed red. "An interesting race." He said as his eyes went back to normal. "I can offer you the knowledge in return for not having access to their abilities, though you could gain them later in your life naturally."

I weighed the choices, Lanteans did gain metal abilities like telepathy and telekinesis along with some premonition and healing. However not all Lanteans gained all the abilities if any at all, so while I might get them all it was better to go with the knowledge. "I want to be a Lantean with all their knowledge, if I can be born on Atlantis that would help me with changing things from the start."

"Very well." Bethos said with a nod. "And I assume you want some form of device to generate the gateways to other dimensions, seeing as you are going a more technological route."

"Yes." I answered but held my hand up to keep him from asking while I thought about my answer. "Okay, since you mentioned both dimensions and universes I want a computer system that lets me put general or specific information in for where I want to go." I nodded as I spoke. "For instance I could simple input Marvel Comic dimension or I could say Marvel Comic dimension where mutants don't exist."

"Interesting." He replied with a smile. "It can be done, but you will only have one device and it will not allow others to move through gateways if you do not enter. No sending people through to places without you."

"Okay but can it be movable, so as I upgrade ships and things I can move it to the best potion?" I asked and he nodded. "Sweet."

"Do you have a time period in mind for your arrival?" Bethos asked while I grinned.

"1960." I said, it was before the series started but not so far away I wouldn't know what was happening. "Based on Earth's calendar."

"Of course." Bethos replied and brought his hand up, both it and his eyes began to glow red. "Do enjoy your new life Mr. Black and remember to keep me entertained." As he spoke a black haze began to cover my eyes and as he finished I lost consciousness.

XXXX Stargate: Atlantis, 1960 XXXX

I woke up suddenly, jerking myself upright as I did and I looked around the room to see I was no longer in the tavern. The room had metal walls and a sleek design; it only took a second to recognize it as Atlantis. I was on a bed and started to get out, looking down I paused because my body was not the same body as I was used to. I was not overweight, but I had some fat on me, mostly a beer gut, but now my stomach was flat and my muscles were more toned. I stood up and looked over my legs, also thinner and more toned, and rubbed my head and face with my hand. My hair was longer, coming to below my ears and I was clean shaven instead of having a beard. "I'm growing that back first thing." I muttered as I looked around the room.

I explored for a minute, finding a closet and drawers with clothes in it, a kitchen area that came out from the walls, bathroom and a desk with a computer system. I threw on some clothes, a simple white long sleeve shirt and matching pants, the material was very soft and comfortable, and I couldn't think of an Earth material like it. I then made my way towards the operations area off of the gate room, I was still under water and wanted to raise the city to save what power I could for other uses. Plus I know when they shields were going to start failing and moving back towards the main tower thus flooding parts of the city.

It was oddly exciting walking through Atlantis, knowing this was not a set but an actual building and I was on another planet. I seemed to know where to go instinctually, since I asked for knowledge I guess Bethos gave me some general information as well. When I made it to the gate area I paused and looked at the gate, I couldn't fight the urge and walked up and touched it. "So fucking cool." After taking a minute to soak it in I headed up the stairs and sat down at one of the control stations. Again the basic information was given to me and I understood the keyboard system he Lantean's used so I easily got into the system.

I checked the power levels first and saw that while low I didn't have to worry about any flooding soon, and since I was planning to raise the city it would be fine. Deciding to go ahead I set in the command and then walked towards a door to the balcony just off the area, I had to grab the railing as the city shook and began to raise. It was an odd but amazing sight to go from total darkness to semi light and then breaking the surface to full daylight. I took in the vast ocean for a second before heading inside and deactivating the shield, to save some power. "Okay, time to get to work."

I sat back down at the station and started going through the database, the first thing I pulled up was the ZPM power crystals and how they are made. I was going to need to do a lot and needed power to do it so making a fresh power source was key. As I looked over the information I was amazed at how intelligent I was now, I shouldn't have understood even a fraction of this but as I read my mind connected dots and skipped ahead of what I was reading to make conclusions. The good news was there was detailed information on how to make a ZPM, the Lanteans destroyed the device they used to make it so the Wraith wouldn't have access to it if they got into Atlantis. It was going to take time to build it but it did not require a huge amount of energy to make it, I would be able to make the device and a ZPM without using up all my remaining power.

Next I started looking through all the labs, while most projects were shutdown when they left there were still some dangerous things. I need to get rid of the more dangerous projects, experiments and materials. Along with that I needed to find a source of food and clean water, after some searching I came across a marine biology lab that had aquatic drones used to gather different sized marine life. There was a storage tank in the lab to keep them and I could remove them and eat them at my leisure, I knew how to clean a fish and with the notes could break it down so while I might be living on seafood for a while at least I wasn't going to starve. I found some information on vegetables located on the main land and would use a Puddle Jumper, I was keeping the name, to search some out when I had a little free time. As my list continued on I opened a side program to get my thoughts down, rearranging the list of importance as I added to it.

XXXX

Artificial Intelligence, that was what I decided to start with as I would need someone, or something, to speak with to keep from going crazy. I had thought of using the nanites first but they were to advanced to start out with, an A.I. would help with that when the time came. I of course did some research first, the Lantean's had dabbled with A.I. but never used it to the full capability. I put in plenty of failsafe's, didn't want to deal with a Skynet or HAL 9000, and after a week of working I was ready to start her up.

I had moved some equipment around and made one lab solely for my A.I., I got as much equipment as I could in the room with almost no space to walk around. I had installed several holographic cameras around Atlantis as well, not only so the A.I could walk around if they felt like it but also so I could use holographic computer systems. The Lantean's had solid hologram technology and it made me feel more futuristic to be able to type on a keyboard while it was in the middle of a room.

"Okay, lets see…three…two..one." I hit the last key and watched as the program began to run, lights began circling around in front of me. Within seconds a person was now standing with me, I had made the A.I. a woman and modeled her off of the Lantean Morgan Le Fay from pictures and medical data I could find. "Please run a system check." I said as she stood waiting.

The hologram closed her eyes for a few seconds. "All systems are functioning." She replied.

"Excellent, do you have any questions for me?" I asked her.

"What would you like your designation to be?" She asked and I hummed.

"I think a simple Sir would be fine." I replied. "After some time you will develop more and we can see if you'd like to change that."

"Understood." She said with a nod. "Do you have a task for me?"

"I would like you to integrate with Atlantis's database." I answered. "Familiarize yourself with everything so you can better assist me."

"Understood." She nodded. "One of my primary functions is to assist you when necessary, shall I remain available to you as I integrate?"

"No, that's something I want done as soon as possible so focus all of your attention there." I answered her. "I've gone this long without you I'm sure I can go longer." I chuckled but she just nodded.

"Understood." She replied before disappearing.

I shrugged, guessing it was better for her not to be active when doing this. Either way I decided not to wait around so I headed off towards another lab, this one was focused on the Kino's. The small sphere drones were a wonderful invention but could use a few helpful upgrades to be even better. By increasing the size to that of about a soccer ball I could add a cloak, shield, stun weapon, communication jamming/scanning equipment, increased power battery and a better-quality camera. This would make them better and more useful than simple surveillance drones and I could send them ahead of me to planets. It would kill time for me and once they were done, I could move onto my next project which would be the replicators.

XXXX

Morgan, as she had decided to be called since in honor of her image, was the right choice to work on first. It was nice to be able to talk with someone and not just out loud to myself, you don't realize what true isolation is until you don't have access to people, internet, tv or music. Since she was not able to divulge anything I said was a secret without my permission, a part of her programing, I told her about my first life and what we basically were going to be doing. She was fascinated by it and asked several questions, making notes about the places we will go and people or items of interest to me.

While I finished up the Kino project I had Morgan work on editing the nanites programming, the Lantean's was good but needed tweaking. For one I did not want them to constantly replicate, I planned to have them form humanoid bodies but I didn't want their programming to advance so far. My plan was to create a brain for the bodies, though really it would be a ball that could be located anywhere in the body, that would connect to all the nanites and keep them under control. It would hopefully also limit the replicator's intelligence, Morgan was writing the programming so they didn't have emotions or conscience, I was hoping they would end up similar to Data from Star Trek. With that I could ask them to do anything and wouldn't have to worry about them having a moral issue about it. Of course I didn't want to completely rely on replicators, if someone was good enough they might find a way to immobilize them like the SGC did in Stargate: Atlantis.

I had told Morgan about the Asuran's, the humanoid replicators the Lanteans thought they had destroyed, and she agreed with why I wanted to limit them. A part of me wanted to not bother with them but I decided to get rid of them before we went off on our adventure, mainly to remove possible powerful adversaries in the Pegasus Galaxy. It would cause change and with my current plan of taking Atlantis it would completely change not only when the SGC would arrive here but also where they would show up and who they interacted with.

Besides the Asuran's I was also going to help deal with the Wraith, but instead of trying to fight them I was going to allow the Vanir access to the Attero Device. The Attero Device was something that made the Wraith Hive ships explode when they entered hyperspace, by activating it I would force the Wraith to remain on or above planets they were currently at. They could still travel with FTL drives but not being able to use hyperspace would seriously improve the other worlds of the Pegasus Galaxy. I was hoping the Vanir would listen to me and trade me some technology for the control key, they were a branch of the Asgard and I wanted their cloning and memory transfer technology. Combining that with the genetic technology of the Lantean's I was hoping to not only create a powerful body but also improve subordinates as I get them.

"The Jaffa are the perfect place to start." I thought as I worked, I wanted an army that was strong, could be loyal and knew enough about advanced technology that I wouldn't have to spend to long training them. If I took out a Goa'uld I could take over their army, I should be able to heal them so they don't need a symbiote but could remain strong and agile. "Imagine an army of Captain America's with plasma firing staffs." I grinned at the thought.

Alone I had time to think about what I wanted to do with this new life and had decided to go for building and ruling a galactic level empire. Where was the first thing to decide, staying here in the Stargate dimension was the easy answer but with the low level of technology I thought it would be easy. I don't know what caused it, possibly the fact I had every possibility in reach, but if I was going to build an empire I wanted there to be a challenge to it. While the Goa'uld were powerful it was only because they had superior technology, I could activate the Attero device in the Milky Way, destroy all gate use and conquer them planet by planet with little resistance.

So I thought of other dimensions to grow in, I wanted somewhere with technology and a large active universe but nothing with to powerful of foes. Star Trek was my first thought but I didn't want to deal with the Q, I wasn't sure if Bethos would keep them off my back or see what they did to me. The Borg were also a possible enemy I could lose to and once they discovered me I wouldn't have a moments peace. Star Wars was the other option, and the one I was leaning towards for several reasons, the first of which was their was no all powerful race that could defeat me with a snap of their fingers. The second was with no Earth in the galaxy anything I bring into it will not be recognized and thus causing me to explain them. If I went in before the clone wars and built up an empire inside the Unknown Regions I could appear and create a third side for the war, the idea of wrecking Sidious's perfectly laid out plans made me grin to. Other options were there but after speaking with Morgan and the Asuran's about them all I decided to go with the Star Wars plan.

With a long term plan in mind I focused on what I needed to do before traveling there, mainly Atlantis itself. Once I had the nanites ready to go I could use them to break somethings down and rebuild parts of Atlantis for better use. I wanted more power stations, ones dedicated to certain functions so I could run several things but not put a strain on power. Also adding more weapons as Atlantis would be my base of operations for a while and I wanted to be able to handle anything in the different universes I could travel to. I would probably be fine with what I had but it never hurt to be extra cautious, the fact no weapons were under or even facing underneath Atlantis, with my new plan we would have 360 degree weapons coverage. Morgan thought it was overkill based on our weapons diagnostics and the drone capabilities, well she said a waste of resources and unnecessary but I was teaching her slang so I know what she meant.

XXXX

Six months is a long time, I missed so many things ranging from food to entertainment but I honestly didn't think I would be around this long still but the work with the humanoid replicators took longer than expected. The brain ended up being the size of a baseball to handle all the features I wanted but it worked. Each Asuran, I was going to be take care of the original Asuran's and allow my creations to take the name for themselves, had a brain and it kept all of their dimensions, appearance and knowledge in them. They could replicate to heal but not to reproduce, the brains were also connected through a subspace frequency so that if they took energy attacks they could share the data and become immune to it. Though to keep from hacking all at once they could shut off if they detect a hack, if the others felt someone go offline they would know there was a problem. Of course I also wanted to use some of the more powerful advantages of the replicators and that was their ability to reach into peoples minds and connect to them. Lantean nanites were organic so they could mingle with biological creatures, this would be good because I could kidnap people I didn't want to kill off but wanted information from and take it.

Luckily when the first Asuran was made and tested, to be sure they would not rise up against me, I quickly built more and got to work. They didn't need sleep or food so they worked around the clock fixing up Atlantis and getting us ready for travel. Much like Morgan the Asuran's gained a bit of personality themselves, I had informed them of where their name came from and what I was planning to do to the originals. It was a test for them, to see how they would react and take news, luckily they were logic driven and when I explained how they might be driven to kill all living things to defeat the Wraith they agreed with their destruction. I also assured them that once we had more people I would allow them to ask for different positions within the ship or pursue their own interests, this made them happy and accept they had to fill roles for a time. However the most interesting thing to me was their idea of names, since they were built and more mechanical then biological they decided to take numerical names based off when they were created.

Of course with the Asuran's helping out I had to change up the security system, they didn't have the activation gene so we made a knew work around. I removed the requirement for now, though I had a dna required override in case anyone every tried to hack or takeover Atlantis and I needed to lock it down.

"One is everyone ready for our visitors." I asked as we stood outside of Janus's hidden lab, once we walked in it would alert the Vanir. If they agreed to the trade I would get everything I need and be ready to move on, if not I would hand it over anyway and visit the Asgard for the technology.

"Yes sir." One replied with a nod, as the first he was considered the leader of the Asurans so usually stayed with me. He and four others were with me, the other four were there to begin downloading all of Janus's research and adding it to the main database. The main thing I wanted was the plans for the time engine, while I had one already in a puddle jumper I didn't want to disassemble it and possibly break it. Once added to Atlantis I would be able to not only move to any dimension I wanted but through time while I was there.

"Alright, lets make the call then." I said and walked forward, hitting the three sconces so the wall would allow us to walk through. Once inside everything began to light up and activate.

"Sir we have the signal broadcasting." I heard in my communicator, I had Operations monitoring all frequencies.

"Excellent, watch for any crafts coming towards us and if you see any inform me immediately." I replied, it was going to take a few minutes so all we could do is wait. "Please begin the transfer. I said to the other four as I walked over and picked up the device, we were moving it to a more appropriate location.

"Yes sir." The four Asuran's said together and began moving about the computers.

"Sir." I stopped and turned back to see one of the Asuran's at a panel. "This panel needs the activation gene to work on it."

"This one does as well sir."

I looked around and the other two nodded, I sighed and looked at one. "Alright, change of plans." I held out the device to him. "You take this and secure it, I will remain here until we get a lock on the Vanir approaching."

"Understood." One said and took the device. "I will alert Operations of the change and we will be ready to teleport you when we have a signal."

"Thank you." I said and went over to the nearest panel to start working.

Janus had plenty of encrypted files but I wasn't trying to brake into them yet so I just focused on moving them to the main system. Morgan would be able to break through it with time I was sure so I didn't want to get frustrated or waste time.

"Sir we believe the Vanir are in route." I stopped and looked up as I heard One. "Are you ready for transport?"

"One second." I said and got up from my seat. "Okay ready." In seconds I was covered in light and appeared in the Operations tower. I was glad I had assigned some Asuran's to improving the transporter technology, once I had ships it would be helpful. "Have we made contact yet?"

"We have sent out a message but there is no reply as of yet." The Asuran at the communication station replied. "Their distance may be a factor as well, I estimate they will arrive in two hours."

"Continuously send the message until we get a response." I said and moved to the map, looking at the blinking red dot signifying the ship. "If they reach our orbit without a response I want the shield up and security ready for them, remember they are an advanced race."

"Noted sir." One answered. "Weapons will be set to stun and we will be ready to disable the ship if necessary." I nodded and walked over to take a seat, they knew what to do so I didn't want to move anyone out of the way.

"Sir we are receiving a reply to our message." It was about an hour later and I had been relaxing in a chair. "The Vanir are asking who we are to be transmitting from Atlantis."

"Tell them you are the Asuran's and working with the last Lantean, who has returned to Atlantis to help the galaxy against the Wraith." I replied, though I stood up and walked over to panel.

"Reply: Are you in possession of the Aterro device?" 279, I spied the number on her uniform, said. "I am informing them they we are." I nodded. "Reply: Are you willing to use the device to fight the Wraith?"

"Tell them we are but do not have a working device currently." That should make them offer to take the device.

"Reply: We currently have an Aterro device but lack the control key, we were in route to Atlantis to take the one for Janus's lab." 279 read aloud. "If you hand it over to us along with schematics for the device so we can properly install it we will activate it."

"Let them know I am open to the idea but there are some things I would like from them." I informed her.

"Reply: What do you require?"

"I would like their cloning technology and memory transfer technology." I said. "For that information I will happily hand over the control device and all information on the Attero device." The Attero device was not band by the council so they schematics were still in the main database, I already had it ready to hand off.

"Reply: Your terms are acceptable; we will hand over the information when we land." I grinned as I heard the news.

"Excellent, tell them we await their arrival then send them the coordinates for a landing spot on the South Pier." I stood up and looked to One. "Gather the key and schematics for the device and will meet them there."

"Yes sir." One replied and moved to gather the necessary items.

Once everything was together me, One and six more Asuran's headed down to the South Pier to wait for our new friends, I had the six Asuran security guards hiding under personal cloaks, the possibility of a double cross did exist. The ship was an oval cylinder shape with an extended part that looked to be the cockpit area, not the coolest design but worked fine for them. After landing three Vanir came down the ramp in their exo-suits, though their weapons were not drawn so I felt they were going to honor the deal. "Welcome." I said with a smile.

"You are the Lantean?" The lead Vanir asked.

"I am." I gave a small bow. "A pleasure to meet you."

"Is that the Attero control key?" He asked while pointing to One.

"Yes and this." I held up the datapad with the schematics on it. "Has all the schematics for the Attero device, you could create a brand new one if you so wished." I held it out to him, a sign of good faith to let him see me honoring the deal.

The leader took the device and began looking through it, after a minute he looked back and another Vanir walked forward. "We do not have the information on a device like this but we can open our system to transfer it to Atlantis." The Vanir behind the leader nodded and walked back towards the ships ramp.

"I'll let my people know." I said and tapped my communicator. "This is Magnus, the Vanir will be sending us the information we asked for please have Morgan ensure it's sent and uncorrupted." Morgan would make sure no virus' were in it and that it all was correct.

"You are cautious." The lead Vanir said evenly. "Good, your ancestors were not." He looked back at the datapad. "All will be in order, the Vanir cannot afford to fight you even when we take care of the Wraith." A logical reason but I still wasn't just going to trust them.

"Good to know, also we have already deactivated our gate so you can activate the Attero device whenever you are ready." I informed him.

"Excellent."

"Sir we have everything." Morgan suddenly said over the comm.

"Wonderful." I turned to one. "Hand it over, our deal is done." One moved forward and handed it to the other Vanir.

"We appreciate your willingness to use the device." The leader said. "Soon the Wraith will be less of a plague on the galaxy." He turned and the two Vanir walked up the ramp, soon enough the ship was off and I was grinning as my preparations were a step closer to being complete.
