Taylor Hebert's life was a living hell. It only changed when she met the Undersiders on that night she faced Lung. There had been no where else for her to go but to them. What if that situation had changed? Ruby Rose and and Yang Xia-Long's arrival in Brockton Bay would cause a lot of things to shift. Watch out, The Sisters Grimm are on the hunt.

Leaving her bullies behind, Taylor transfers to the school for heroes, learning to fight in defense of the world and meeting a team of superpowered individuals. The school is Beacon Academy. The world is Remnant. The team is dysfunctional. (Worm/RWBY fusion where the Undersiders and several other teenaged capes are attending Beacon Academy together.)

The world known as Earth R is essentially a mix of the worlds of Remnant and Worm, blended just in the middle zone. Plots of both story lines altered to fit and an intertwining arc that could change the fate of this world as the characters know it. (AU)

Worm takes place in a universe which is dark and gritty, without being grimdark. RWBY tries to be serious, but the result is still lighthearted and campy. What happens when the gray morality and methodology of the former meet the black-and-white world of the latter? The Undersiders are sent to Remnant for unknown reasons, and must learn how to survive and thrive in this new world.

Worlds end and begin anew, but sometimes trace of previous existences linger and leave their mark on their successors. The parahumans of Brockton Bay are just Remnants of a forgotten time. Yet victory is in a simple soul, as the echoes of past heroes will come to teach. "And thus, I scatter". Very Very Dead.

In the wake of Beacon's fall, Remnant is changing—and not for the better. New powers sprout forth, as both blessing and curse. Tensions between the Kingdoms grow and mysterious forces work in the shadows. Divided, the former members of Teams RWBY and JNPR will have to make their own paths in this new and uncertain world. A world of bloody evolution is about to become bloodier.
