After leaving Warfarin's research room, Lin Ye took a detour to the medical department. After all, Warfarin had already said what he wanted to know. He really wanted to see who was the person that had a worse illness than Liz. He couldn't imagine what it would be like for that person.

It's already hard enough to have an illness like Liz. Now, there was a person that had it even worse than her. He needed to know.

As he arrived at the medical department, he saw the people that were on duty today. Today, luckily, he saw a familiar face.

She was the one that accompanied him when he represented Rhodes Island to Karlan.

"Sussurro," Lin Ye waved at her, "Hello there."

"Doctor Lin?" Sussurro looked up at him, "Have you come to see Miss Liz again? But Miss Liz isn't here now."

"No," Lin Ye shook his head, "I'm here to do other things."

He usually would come by here to invite Liz to dinner. So, that meant that he knew almost everyone here by now. Although he was not in this department, he was treated as one by the members.

"Other things?" Sussurro tilted her head, "Business or personal?"

Lin Ye smiled at her, "Something official today."

Sussurro was a little surprised by this.

"You still have something to do? I thought you came here again to find someone to accompany you to the cafeteria for dinner."

Lin Ye stared at her.

So, you thought that I was someone that was desperate for someone before this? This girl.

At this time, a mature female voice sounded behind Sussurro.

"Sussurro, stop joking around."

It was Olivia who came by.

"Hello, Olivia."

She smiled at him, "Hello, Lin Ye."

She turned her head to look at the wall clock on the wall.

"Doctor Lin, it's not time for dinner yet. You're here too early." Olivia told him, "And Liz is not here too. Do you want me to accompany you to dinner? I can bring Ifrit and Saria too if you want."

Her too?

Lin Ye wanted to prove his innocence, but when he saw the smile in her eyes, he stopped. He was being teased by her. He sighed and chuckled at this.

"Am I that unbearable?"

"Of course not." She shook her head," I enjoy your visit here, to be honest."

Lin Ye smiled at her, "Is that so? I am glad."

She then looked at what he was wearing. The old fur trim coat that she gave him was still on him.

"Are you still wearing that old thing?"

"What do you mean?" Lin Ye pointed at his coat, "You mean this?"

"Yes," She sighed, "It looks old now. Why don't you buy a new one?"

"Why should I? This coat helps me a lot." Lin Ye smiled at his coat, "And you were the one that gave me this. I never really showed my appreciation when you gave me this."

Lin Ye then turned his head and chuckled at her.

"So, Olivia." Lin Ye smiled at her, "Thank you. I will cherish this."

Olivia was silent. Then she started to play with her hair. She whispered her reply to him.

"Don't mention it," She still didn't look at him. This confused Lin Ye a bit.

Eh? Why is she reacting like that? Did I say something wrong to her?

"Ahem! Ahem!"

Sussurro coughed to break the silence.

Lin Ye was the first to react.

"Oh, sorry Sussurro." Lin Ye rubbed her head, "I was not ignoring you or anything."

She looked at him like he was an idiot.

How dense can someone be?

Olivia collected herself and tried to look professional again. However, if Lin Ye looked close enough, her ears are still a bit red.

"So, Doctor Lin Ye." Olivia asked him," Why are you here? Liz had long been transferred to the pharmaceutical department. You rarely come here."

Lin Ye nodded at her. This was official business.

"About that." Lin Ye told her, "I am here to look for someone named Eyjafjalla. She should be here today."

The smile on her face gradually turned into a surprised look.

"How do you know? Do you know her?"

"I don't know her," Lin Ye shook his head, "It was Warfarin that told me about her. "

He then explained everything that happened to him to Olivia. Of course, he concealed the L-Drug.

After hearing Lin Ye's narration, her surprised face disappeared. She nodded at him.

"So, you came for that child."

"Is she here?" Lin Ye was suddenly a little nervous because according to Warfarin, Eyjafjalla had a kind of sickness that even Warfarin was not sure if she could return to Rhodes Island alive.

Fortunately, Olivia gave him a positive answer.

"Yes, and you came just at the right time." Olivia said, "She is undergoing a physical examination now, and I can take you there."

"That's great," Lin Ye was relieved, "Sorry for bothering you."

"Nonsense. Come, just follow me" Olivia smiled at him, "Like I said I enjoy your company."

She walked ahead to lead Lin Ye, he immediately followed her. As they were walking, Olivia seemed to want to talk to him more.

"Did Doctor Warfarin really send you here because of her?" She asked him.

"Yes." Lin Ye answered, "Is there a problem?"

She looked at Lin Ye and said, "Because Eyjafjalla is not the same as Liz and Ifrit. She has a good personality and she doesn't have any issues. So, she doesn't need any psychological intervention like Liz before. She is also different from Ifrit. Many people are willing to help her. So, what I want to say is why did she send you here." Then she smiled at him, "Not like I mind."

Lin Ye smiled and nodded at her.

Her words did make sense.

Eyjafjalla was different from Liz and Ifrit. What she needed was not a psychologist, but a normal doctor like Olivia.

This was also the reason why he hadn't heard her name before today. It was all because his L-cell was in his blood that he finally knew Eyjafjalla existed.

"I heard from Warfarin that her condition is very serious." Lin Ye asked Olivia," Said to be even more serious than Liz and Ifrit."

"Yes and no," Olivia said, "In terms of the fusion rate of her cells and Oripathy virus, she is far lower than Ifrit and even lower and she is slightly worse than Liz. Oripathy disease is not just a matter of looking at the rate of cell fusion with the Originium. The severity of her condition lies in the fact where she was infected. The position is so special that the condition seems to be much more serious than the others."

"So, where was she infected?" Lin Ye asked.

Olivia stopped and looked in front of them.

"There she is," She pointed at someone ahead of them. She had fluffy brown hair and the clothes that she was wearing looked like they were a bit burnt. However, it kind of fit her.

He could see ears on her head that look like ones of a lamb from a distance.

She also has horns on her head.

"Is she a Sarkaz?" Lin Ye asked her.

Olivia shook her head.

"No. She's a Caprinae." She told him, "I don't have a lot of understanding about her race."

Lin Ye looked at the person named Eyjafjalla.

"She doesn't seem to have anything wrong."

"As I said earlier, her somatic cell fusion rate with Originium is not high," Olivia said lightly, "So, she won't have any active stones on her body surface, but her condition is indeed the most serious one on the island now."

"What do you mean?"

"You can look at it for yourself."

Lin Ye nods and then walks towards Eyjafjalla.

The one that was checking the girl was Olivia's former coworker. No, her friend. Saria.

He saw Saria holding an examination report while asking Eyjafjalla some questions. While she was asking her, Saria wrote some notes on it. Eyjafjalla was answering her question by just moving her head.

After thinking about it, Lin Ye decided not to intervene in this physical examination and stay back with Olivia by his side.

He hears Saira talking to Eyjafjalla.

"Okay, let's check your eyesight next."

Eyesight?

Lin Ye was a little confused, wondering when did Oripathy test include a vision test? Was it possible that her infection was located in her brain, so was it oppressing her optic nerve?

If this was the case, it was really bad for her.

By what he was seeing, he was not wrong.

Saria took a few steps back and tested Eyjafjalla with the vision test. It was like what Lin Ye used to do when he was in kindergarten. He originally thought that Saria would start with the middle letter of the eye chart, but he didn't expect she would point directly to the first row, the biggest one. She then asked Eyjafjalla if she could see it or not.

She can't possibly can't see it. If so, what is the difference between her and a blind person then?

What he did not expect was, she couldn't answer right away. She looks confused. After a while she asked Saria in a timid voice.

"Miss Saria? Are you asking me to do an eye test now?"

Lin Ye was stunned.

She can't hear her.

"Yes, Eyjafjalla," Saria said in a patient tone then she pointed at an arrow on the chart with a stick, "What is the direction the arrow is pointing here?"

She then squinted her eyes and said in an uncertain voice," Is it down?"

On the chart, it obviously was pointing up.

This was probably the shortest vision test that Lin Ye had ever seen since childhood. However, the testee couldn't even see the first line of the eye chart.

It's no wonder that when Lin Ye walked by Eyjafjalla just now, she didn't even look at him. It turned out that she couldn't see at all. Saria put down the stick that she used and walked directly to her patient.

Eyjafjalla probably realized something, and said in a tearful tone, "I am sorry Miss Saria. I couldn't see it."

"It's not your fault." Saria shook her head, then stretched out her hand and rubbed Eyjafjalla's hair, "We can't control your sickness anymore, and your condition has worsened. I'm sorry to inform you that with your current physical condition, we can't allow you to leave Rhodes Island anymore."

However, Saria needed to say these three for her to understand. When he finally heard Saria, Eyjafjalla lowered her head. She looks hurt.

"I understand."

"Her condition has worsened again." Olivia, who was standing next to Lin Ye, said softly, "If this goes on, there is really no way we can help her."

This made Lin Ye feel uncomfortable. So, he asked Olivia a question.

"What does Eyjafjalla do here?"

Olivia was about to answer him but was stopped by something.

Eyjafjalla turned to look at him,

"Yes?" She tilted her head," Are you asking about me?"

She heard him.
