Chapter 4: Enrolling into kindergarten
On Friday, Inko and Izuku went to the kindergarten center to enroll Izuku into it while All Might continue with hero work. Soon, they met a woman who's going to be Izuku's teacher. The woman introduced herself as Mrs. Wombat and said that she has been knowing the Midoriya family since the beginning of time, causing Izuku to assume that she's extremely old. After Inko scolded Izuku for his big mouth, Mrs. Wombat gives the two a tour of the center, starting with the principal's office to her classroom. After the tour, Izuku told his mom that he's not sure he can become friends with low intelligent life forms, causing his mom that everything going to be ok because he's going to meet kids who was also treated like a freak before telling him to look at a girl who she believes is excited to make new friends. However, when Izuku looks at the flamboyant girl, she dramatically yelled at her mom that people will be mistreating her just like in the neighborhood before taking off screaming. Izuku then gives his mom a look, causing her to assure him again that he's going to be fine.
Three days later, Izuku prepares for his first day of school before eating breakfast, packing lunch, and putting his hero costume in a bag. Soon, the bus came and Izuku set off for school as Inko and All Might waves goodbye with All Might bawling because he's growing up so fast. When the bus reached the kindergarten center, Izuku went to class 1a and found himself in a room of kids with each of them having a different personality. Izuku then put his bag in a cubby and went to give Mrs. Wombat an apple, which made the teacher smile and tell Izuku that she believes that he'll be the most unique student in her class. During circle time, everyone introduced themselves. Starting from Izuku, there's Katsuki, Shoto, Tenya, Eijiro, Tsuyu, Ochaco, Mina, Momo, Minora, Denki, Kyoka, Fumikage, Yuga, Mezo, Hanta, Mashirao, Koji, Toru, and Rikkido. Soon a montage begins with Izuku showing off his extreme intelligence, much to the annoyance to some of his classmates, including Katsuki, Tenya, Tsuyu and Shoto.
During playtime, Izuku was in a middle of his usual science experiment until Mrs. Wombat convinced him to make a new friend, which Izuku initially hesitated until Mrs. Wombat gives him puppy dog eyes. First, Izuku tries to befriend Ochaco Uraraka, but she did not hear him, which cause Izuku to tap her shoulder, which also caused Ochaco to scream and whimpers. Izuku then put his hands up and move on to the next person, who happens to be Tenya Iida, However, Tenya calls Izuku out for being such a know it all and scolded him for using chemicals in class, causing Izuku to get annoyed until he put up a middle finger at him while sticking his tongue out and pull an eyelid down. Tenya then glared at Izuku as he walks away snickering. Soon a montage began with Izuku failing to make one friend, starting from Katsuki, who just screams and cussed at him while calling him stupid Deku, to Koji, who refused to let him touch any of her animals because he calls them filthy and disgusting creatures. Soon, he has enough and sat in a corner with his science equipment. Mrs. Wombat and Ochaco watched him feeling pitiful for him. Mrs. Wombat then told Ochaco to go play while she goes talk to Izuku, which Ochaco agrees to.
