Chapter 6: Game on!
Izuku thinks about Ochaco and how strange she is before snapping out of it to make more friends. First, he apologized to Tenya for giving him the middle finger and told him that he's not used to being in kindergarten since he's a genius, which Tenya said that he knew that. Izuku then asked Tenya about his interests and hobbies before asking him if he wants to be a leader once he's a pro hero. Tenya then said yes and told Izuku about his family business and how the name Ingenium was passed down for generations, which made Izuku goes wow as his eyes widened. Soon, he went through a montage of getting along with his classmates except for Tsuyu and Katsuki until he reached Mina Ashido who said that she's impressed that he knows everything immediately before asking if he's homeschooled, causing Izuku to laugh and said no. Mina then looked at Izuku like a curious dog and pretends to scratch his shirt while panting, which made Izuku confused and asked if she even a human being. After Mina said that she's a hybrid and howl like a dog, Izuku patted her head and told her that she's odd before asking her what else she does beside being out of this world, causing Mina to break dance, much to Izuku's amazement. Soon, Izuku gets an idea and threw a ball at a wall, which Mina willingly chased after it as Izuku laughs, meanwhile at a table nearby, Tsuyu was watching Izuku having fun with a smirk on her face as she gets a pack of cards out.
Tsuyu gets a flashback of herself before she gets enrolled into kindergarten. Tsuyu have two siblings, Samedere and Satsuki. As the middle child, Tsuyu is a tomboy who obsessed with competitions and sports. She and her family went to Mr. Asui's casino, where she challenged people into gambling with her, much to her parents' annoyance. Soon, Mr. Asui creates the kids' room, so he won't get into trouble for letting the kids gamble. During weekends, Tsuyu would start training with her mom as a coach since she owns a fitness gym. Tsuyu is usually the one who is left in charge of her older brother and younger sister. After doing chores and practically everything in the house, Tsuyu laid on the couch to watch All Might confirming his dating status with Inko. The flashback ends with Tsuyu showing her aggressive and hot-tempered side, which caused almost everyone to be scared of her. Tsuyu then called Izuku over.
Tsuyu introduced herself to Izuku before challenging him to a game of poker, which Izuku accepts, much to everyone's shock. After Izuku sat down, the game begins. While paying, Izuku asked Tsuyu about herself, which caused her to tell him that all he needs to know is that she hates losing, her mom owns a gym and her dad owns a casino, which made everyone flabbergasted. Soon, Izuku wins the first round, causing Tsuyu to get mad and tries to attack Izuku with her tongue. However, Izuku quickly dodge it with flash steps, much to his and his friends surprised. After Tsuyu calms herself down, she told Izuku that it's game on, which Izuku say back at her in the same tone. Soon a montage begins with Izuku playing poker against Tsuyu until she wins, causing Izuku to scratch his chin while his friends cheer him on, and Mrs. Wombat is on the phone talking to the parents of a group of kids who's coming late. Izuku then went through a montage as the final round gets intense as Tsuyu chuckled smugly and Izuku sweating as Toru and Momo used handkerchief to wipe his face. Soon, Izuku wins again as everyone, but Katsuki and Tsuyu tossed Izuku in the air chanting his last name. Afterwards, Izuku shakes Tsuyu's hand saying good game and called her friend, causing Tsuyu to tell him that not only they're friends now, but they are also rivals before telling Izuku to call her Tsu as she squeezed Izuku hand hard. Outside, a group of kids with ominous clothing look at the kindergarten center and smiled evilly as thunder flashes before going inside.
