Chapter 13: Recess
Outside, the group stop to take a breather until Momo asked Izu what other trouble he can get himself into, causing Izuku to tell her that he can get into trouble in so many ways, which also caused Fumikage to ask if getting out of trouble impossible. After Izuku said that it may be hard but it's not impossible. Soon, Minora suggest that they should play a game with one of Izu's latest inventions, causing him to take out a box of laser pens, which he made by himself and gives everyone one so they can play laser tag. A montage of Izu and his friends playing laser tag then begins after he also gives everyone protective vests that are laser proof. Afterwards, the playground was melted because of the lasers, much to other kids' annoyance as Ochaco got tired of playing and went to her favorite spot to watch Sesame Street on her iPod after giving the protective laser proof vest back to Izu along with her friends. Suddenly, Rikkiya and his group followed her so they can beat her up for fun causing Izuku to set off to confront them.
Rikkiya and his friends, Koku, Tomoyasu, Slidin go, Geten and Chitose reached Ochaco's spot and laugh at her, which made Ochaco turn and look like she's going to cry. Koku then start teasing Ochaco before kicking her until Ochaco starts crying for real before screaming she'll hit him. However, Chitose blew up the tree Ochaco was sitting under, which also blew up her IPod. Soon, Izuku confronted the bullies and told them that he had it with them bullying his friends. The bullies then laugh until Rilkkiya teasily asked Izuku what's he going to do about it, causing Izuku to start fighting Rikkiya and his goons until another bully who is the scariest one confronts Izuku.
The bully introduced himself as Chizome as the rest of the Devil Brats surrounded Izuku. Izuku's friends then gets worried and tries told him to try to get away, causing Izuku to assure his friends that he's fine because he has one for all. Which made the bullies do a Cheshire Cat grin and Izuku's friends confused. After Izu asked Chizome if he wants a fight and Chizome confirms it, the fight begins as Izuku uses his quirk to hit Chizome. However, Chizome is quick as he dodges some of Izuku's punches before making him bleed so he can activate his quirk to paralyzed him. After his comrades cheered for him, Chizome was about to finish it by killing Izuku with his Kratana, but Izu uses smokescreen to make him confuse before using sonic speed to continue the fight until Chizome fell unconscious with some of his teeth removed. Soon, the Devil Brats got angry before trying to attack Izuku like before lunch and winds up piling one another again. Izuku friends, especially Ochaco became more amaze before cheering for Izu.
