Chapter 14: Izuku and friends vs Devil Brats
Izuku stands on a bench and made a speech about defending one another starting with telling everyone to stand up against bullying and the hero they want to be because they can be a hero if they believe in themselves and stand strong. While he continues, Mrs. Wombat watch him briefly and smile before going to the bathroom. Soon, Izu finished his speech by saying that being different is what made them stronger and if bullies try to put them down, they must fight for their rights to be heard. Afterwards, most of the girls, including the ones from class b and class a wipe their tears and smiled before Neito tells everyone that Izu is right and convinced everyone to fight back, which Mirio, Nejire, Tamaki, Mei and everyone in class a and class b agrees. A student then asked Neito and Izuku if they're crazy because they're just kids and the Devil Brats' parents could be villains who might hunt them down for hurting their kids. Tetsutetsu then said he and his friends admired Izuku for his bravery and are willingly to defend him if he's in trouble, causing Izuku to remind him that he never need help when he's in trouble. Soon the Devil Brats got up, causing everyone except Izuku and his friends to run back inside. Izuku then smiled and asked his friends for help, which caused Katsuki to pat on his back before saying that's what friends are for filled with rage and determination. Tomura then gets angry and asked the group if they really think they can take them on together. After Izuku look at his friends with determined eyes. Katsuki yelled for everyone to beat the Devil Brats to a pulp, which caused Izu and Ochaco to say yeah together.
Hatsume told his comrades to charge, which caused the playground to turn into a battlefield of a war as Izuku and his friends uses their quirks to overpower the bullies. During the fight, Himiko told her group that they're outnumbered, causing Hatsume to get an idea and ran back inside to get his bag. The bullies then desperately try to subdue their victims but keeps getting hit by their quirk until they all beaten up. Izuku and his friends then high fived one another until Tsu noticed that they're missing one, which is Hatsume, who came back with a robotic backpack and looking furious. Izuku then told his friends that he'll handle Hatsume, causing a duel to begin. However, Izuku gets overwhelmed by Hatsume's backpack with extended robot arms, causing Mei to tell Nejire, Tsu and Ochaco to help him. The girls then help Izuku fight Hatsume until he fell unconscious from the beating. Everyone then cheers and said they did it before tossing Izuku in the air chanting his nickname. Suddenly, Mrs. Wombat, Apeman and Class c's teacher came back and furiously call Izu's full name with the rest of class c behind them with shock expressions, causing Tenya to tell the teachers that Izuku makes a great role model for them, which everyone except Izuku agrees. Mrs. Wombat then pulled Izuku's ear and takes him to the principal's office as he tries to explain what happened.
At the Principal's office, Izuku gets lectured after explaining what happened before the fight happened. Suddenly, all of Izu's friends barged in and told the principal that they help Izu fight the bullies, causing the principal to tell them that Izuku already told him that. Soon, the teachers came in told the principal that the Devil Brats' injuries aren't serious, so they got sent home early. Mrs. Wombat then told everyone to head back to class so she can talk to Izuku alone. After the principal takes everyone out and went to the teacher's lounge, Mrs. Wombat kneel and told Izu that she's extremely disappointed in him for practically starting a war during recess. Izuku then said that he's just looking out for his friends, causing Mrs. Wombat to get up and told him that he and his friends could've gotten serious injuries and told him that the principal has already called his parents because he's going home early so he won't cause anymore trouble since she already heard about his fight with the Devil Brats before lunch and he tries to turn the principal into a lab rat and locked him in a box. Izuku then tries to correct the box incident but All Might and Inko came in with All Might looking worried and Inko looking mad. After a moment of questioning and guilt, including Inko struggling to either blame her curse of bad luck or Izuku's ways of getting into trouble. The parents take Izuku home with his friends watching him leave as they began crying.
