Chapter 15: Grounded
During the car ride back home, All Might noticed how quiet Izuku and his mom are before trying to convince Inko that there must be some kind of misunderstanding, which caused Inko to tell All Might what the principal told her starting with fighting before lunch. Once home, Inko began scolding her son for using violence instead of getting a teacher before giving him the same lecture the principal gives him but slightly different. Izuku then tell his mom that he can't just stand and let the Devil Brats bully his friends and point out that if it wasn't for him, his friends would have been emotionally distraught and won't be happy to go to school because of bullies, which Inko understood but told him that being his recklessness will only make things worse. Izuku then gets mad and ask his mom when she'll see him as someone who can defend and fight for himself because he's a certified genius who strategized things and have potential in becoming a hero. Inko then also gets mad and said that he's too young to be a hero anyway and the reason she enrolled him into kindergarten because she doesn't think he's ready to go out and just because he's a genius doesn't mean he'll immediately be a pro in everything. All Might then get scared as Izu told his mom about his past achievements, including a PHD and teacher diploma. However, Inko got mad and yell that he's not allowed to do hero work until she thinks he's ready, causing Izuku to start crying and ran upstairs as Inko watch them and start to cry. When All Might sat down and comforted her, Inko told him that all she wants is for Izuku to be safer, so he won't get killed just like her husband.
Izuku went to his room and slam the door, before lying on his bed to cry until All Might came in to tell him that he's grounded for two weeks for starting a fight in school, causing Izuku to throw an All Might Figurine at him, Fortunately, he quickly closed the door. Soon, Hanta texted Izuku about what's happening to school, starting with Ochaco having a fit before making all the furniture and Mrs. Wombat float in the air, to Mirio, Nejire, Tamaki, Mei and Class b arguing with their teachers about the unfairness that he's been given. After sending three texts, Tsu Called Izuku on video chat to calm Ochaco down, causing Izu to tell his friends what happened between him and his mom before wishing for his dad to be around, so she won't be acting like the way she was downstairs. Inko, who was listening began to cry with All Might comforting her as he starts thinking.
Meanwhile, at a villainous looking hideout and agency, the mysterious villain who killed Izuku's dad in Chapter 1 enters a conference room to discuss about the kids who beat up his grandson and his comrades. One of the villains told the boss that one of the kids and his mom are living with the symbol of peace himself, causing the boss to become furious and killed a nearby servant before the Devil Brats came in to see what's happening. Soon, Hatsume tells his grandpa that the boy Izuku Midoriya has One for all, which is the most powerful quirk they have been looking for, causing the boss to rub his hands evilly before telling everyone that their goal will soon be reached. However, Rikkiya's dad told the boss that they don't know where Izuku is, causing Chitose to reveal that she has put tracking devices on Izuku and his friends during the fight at recess. The boss then got up before making a speech about the future that he'll rule as a demon lord before ending it by saying that the hero society will tremble before All For one, which caused everyone to cheer while laughing evilly.
