Chapter 32: A visit from Aunt Lydia
During school, the Peanut Gallery were asked to go to the cafeteria by the principal so they can choose a hero name, causing the kids to get excited. When they got to the cafeteria, the Peanut Gallery talk among themselves while Izu and Tsu arm wrestled, which Izuku won much to Tsu's anger as Ochaco and Isuka hold her back, which caused her to use her tongue to attack Izu, but he then uses a flyswatter to fight back as he laughs because he's enjoying this. Soon, the principal peek through the door, causing everyone to be silenced as he walks in front of them so he can announce them getting to have hero names because he and their teachers were told by All Might, Inko and Eraserhead that they have potential to be the first group of the youngest heroes because of their fight during the villain invasion at the wedding. The kids then realized this and gets more excited as they celebrate until the principal blows a whistle to silence them. Soon, the principal gives the kids a minute to think of a hero name for themselves. The kids then start presenting their hero names starting from Mirio of class c to Izuku of class a, which caused some of his to question this, which Izu explained with a flashback of him hanging out with Ochaco as they watched Zero play The legend of Zelda. When he reached the great Deku tree, Izu's eyes got wide because Ochaco said that it's a cute name before looking at Izuku and smiled. Soon, she asked Izu if it's ok if she calls him deku because it means that he can do anything, causing Izuku to smile and allowed Ochaco to call him Deku.
After the bus dropped them off, they were greeted by a woman in dark clothing and purple make up as she and Ochaco hug each other before Ochaco introduced everyone to her Aunt Lydia, causing her mom to come out of her apartment screaming what. Soon, Aunt Lydia told everybody that she just wants to drop by and see her favorite niece before asking Izuku how was living at All Might's cottage. Izuku then told Lydia that living in All Might's cottage was very cozy and he and his mom are on their honeymoon for a week. Lydia then smiles sinisterly and patted Izu's head before asking her sister if she have been working out after saying her first name, which made Izu snicker, much to Mrs. Uraraka's annoyance. Soon, Lydia went upstairs to the Uraraka family apartment with Ochaco following her before Neito told everybody that he doesn't trust Ochaco's aunt and believes that she's up to no good, causing Izuku to scoff at him and told him to not be ridiculous, with Denki agreeing with him before asking how bad Lydia can be. Denki and Izuku then do their secret handshake before going to the arcade together laughing, with Katsuki and Eijiro following them as everyone else went separate ways.
Meanwhile, Lydia admired the apartment as she sat down to join her sister's family for dinner. After a few questions about the building that they're living in and the Peanut Gallery, Mrs. Uraraka then scolded Lydia for coming here after what she did that killed their mother, which also made Lydia annoyed. Soon, the oven timer beeps as the family began their dinner, with Mrs. Uraraka and her sister giving each other death glares. After snatching the food they're going to eat, Mrs. Uraraka and Lydia starts arguing about their differences and the incident that cost their mother's life as Ochaco begged for the two of them to stop fighting, until Lydia and Mrs. Uraraka grab a fried pork roast and made flew into the air and back down, causing Ochaco to run to her room crying. Lydia then glared at her sister before leaving as Mrs. Uraraka watch her autistic daughter in regret.
