Chapter 39: The flashback begins
A flashback of before the raid begins as the U.A League stop at a bus stop to discuss about how to deal with Lydia before Mrs. Uraraka gets an idea and told everyone about Lydia's blueprint that she ripped in half, causing Mr. Iida to ask how they are going to find the blueprint halves. Soon, Mrs. Uraraka gets an idea and told everyone that they should get to Izu's lab. When they got there, they asked Siri for help in their mission to take down Lydia's scheme and arrest her. Siri then scan pictures of Lydia and told the U.A League that she's planning to get rid of quirks with a giant vacuum cleaner and the two parts of the blueprints were scattered in two different places: the junkyard and the power plant building. The U.A League then talk for a moment before deciding to go to the junkyard first, since it's close to U.A. Academy. The league then thanked Siri before taking off to the Junkyard just in time as the Simpson movie ended.
The U.A. League kept moving until they reached the junkyard, where they react with disgust because of the bad smell. Soon, everyone split up and look around until Mr. and Mrs. Kuroiro found the first half of the quirk vacuum cleaner. Suddenly a villain named Gomi appears and attacked Shihai's parents until the rest of the U.A. League came to their rescue, causing Gomi to activate his trash dumping robot and attacked the league for his own enjoyment. Gomi then took the blueprint half before taking off laughing as Endeavor and his wife Frozen chased him until they cornered him. However, they get covered in trash because of the trash dumping robot as Gomi makes a run for it the first blueprint half. Soon he got surrounded as Mrs. Yuga takes off to destroy the robot, much to Gomi's devastation before Mr. Asui picked him up and demand for the blueprint half. Gomi then escaped Mr. Asui's grasp and desperately tries to escape but keep bumping into the heroes until they finally have him restrained as Mrs. Tokoyami grab the first half of the blueprint and sarcastically thanked Gomi for giving it to them. Soon, the U.A League left Gomi in the junkyard and took off to find the second half of the blueprint at the power plant building.
Soon, the U.A League reached the building and went inside to find a trio of men all tied up by the wall, causing Mr. Tamakiri to cut the ropes and ask the men what happened. The men then told the league that a woman who controls the weather came in here and took over the place, saying that she works for the Warcraft of Doom, causing the league to realize that it's Weather girl who's taking over the building. They then set off to confront the villain in the control center of the building, but soon gets ambushed by a storm, causing most of the league to use their quirks to lead the way until they reached a door that leads to Weather girl herself. The league then surprised Weather girl before demanding for the second half the quirk vacuum cleaner. Weathergirl then gets angry and told the league that it's too late for them because Lydia's plan will prevail. The U.A League then prepare for a fight as Endeavor calls for Best Jeanist and Hawks, causing Weather girl to get furious and intensified the storm as she takes off with the second blueprint half. Soon, the league gives chase until Best Jeanist and Hawks came to help. Best Jeanist then restrained Weather girl with Thread of hope as Endeavor take the second half of the quirk vacuum blueprint, causing Weathergirl to demand the heroes to give it back to her as she escapes the thread and blew everyone into the main floor to corner them. Just as she confronted them, Hawks gets an idea and tricked Weather girl onto getting angrier, which caused a blackout so the U.A League can ambush her and grab the second blueprint half. When the lights came back on, Best Jeanist was using blackout bind to make Weather girl unconscious to the league can arrest her. After saving the power plant building and letting the police take her to Tartarus, the league calls it a night before going back home to take a bath and go to bed. The flashback ends with them finding the kids sleeping in the lobby and decided next time, they let the kids sleep in the garage for their next slumber party.
