Chapter 44: All Might's origins

Izuku prepares for the final round as he listens to his friends telling him to go easy on their siblings, especially the younger ones like Shenji. Izuku then gives them a smile and a thumbs up before round 5 begins as a montage begins starting from Izuku getting overpower to getting an idea that turns the tables. Soon the montage ends with the siblings on top piled onto each other with Izu on top saying that was a tough battle, but he manages to still win, causing his friends to do a skyward scream until their parents tells them that it's time to go home. On their way home, Nejire complimented Izu's strength before telling him that he got her respect. Tsu then told Izuku that he may be able to beat her during today's training, but she won't lose next time, causing Izu to give her a smug look before saying we'll see before shaking her hand. That evening, Izu told class b about double team in the food court, which impressed them. Soon, All Might reminded everyone that the training is for them so not only they can be the first young heroes, but so they can protect the legendary quirk from villains, which the kids understood.

The next day, the kids all watched tv in the lobby while All Might decided to do some yoga at one of the gazebos. Soon, a car honked at him causing him to turn and saw his ex-wife and his kids, who then ran to him give him a hug. All Might then gets confused as everyone came out to see what's happening before All Might's ex wife introduced herself as Celia Yagi before introducing her kids: Sam, Tyler, Audrey, and Nelson, causing All Might to sigh and told everyone that this is his family before getting a fresh start in Japan, which also caused everyone but Izuku to become surprised. After Celia explain that they came here early to go to the gaming convention, which includes games from Nintendo and Sega. Inko told Izu that his father was divorced before coming to Japan and meeting her, causing Izuku to become thrilled because he believed that he has siblings of his own. Sam then corrected Izu that they're half siblings before explaining that All Might was married to her mom and has four kids including her before getting divorce, because her mom thought All Might cares more about his hero career than her family, because he was never home, especially on holidays including Christmas. Sam than wrap it up by revealing All Might's real name is Toshinori, causing Inko to give All Might a stern look as he curled up in a ball and starts crying. Soon, Audrey told everyone that at least All Might texted them every night before bed. Causing Inko to get mad but get held back by Mrs. Bakugo who then told her that All Might was just protecting his ex-wife and kids just like he was protecting her and Izuku, causing Inko to calm down and asked the Yagi family if they want a place to stay until the convention, which also caused Tyler to say yes and told Inko that his mom got them here a week early, so it's too late to turn back now. Izuku then gets an idea and told the Yagi family that they'll stay in U.A. Apartments before giving a tour. Everyone but All Might then went inside as he got up and began feeling guilty for neglecting his family.

All Might then get a flashback of himself going to high school in America, where he was one of the popular kids because of his kindness, charm, smile and determination to protect people and making the world a better place. He then meets Celia, who was a shy girl and talk to her for a few minutes because she's new to the school before hanging out with her for two weeks until they fell in love with each other. However, since Celia was a freshman and All Might was a senior, their friends refused to let them date. All Might then set up times for him and Celia to meet so they can hang in school and plan a date at the pizza shop. After introducing each other to their parents and after three weeks of dating, their friends found out that they were dating and threatened to break them up themselves if they don't. causing All Might to call everyone out for not being good friends just because a senior can't date a freshman. After a friend makes a good point about them dating, All Might takes Celia away so they can have their first kiss on the school's rooftop. The next day, the school principal along with All Might and Celia's friends confront the couple and gives them a stern lecture about dating in high school before giving them an ultimatum, causing All Might to get angry and yell if he and Celia aren't allowed to date in school, then they're never coming back. After getting expelled, All Might and Celia's parents threw them out of their house, causing them to meet at their spot and decided to spend the rest of their lives together. Soon, they rent an apartment for a few years before a montage begins with Celia getting pregnant with Sam as their undying loyalty and trust remain strong, the montage then continues after Tyler is born as All Might meets Nana Shimura who then made him her successor ten months later after he risked his life to save a person. When Tyler was four years old and the family are now living in a house with five bedrooms, All Might became the number 1 hero and spend most of his time saving lives. After Nelson was born, Celia became cynical as she wished that All Might never met Nana who was killed by All for one. On Christmas, the kids wrote a letter to Santa that all they want for Christmas is for their dad to take a break from being the number 1 hero and spend time with them. After Christmas, All Might return home to find Celia getting angry at him for being a workaholic, causing All Might to explain that he's spending time fighting villains and saving life so she and the kids can feel safe in society. However, Celia starts to cry and told All Might that if he rather be protecting strangers and bringing peace to them instead of being there for his family, which was past due six years ago. Soon after filing a divorce, All Might left the house with tears in his eyes as rain starts pouring down, after a farewell party, the flashback ends with All Might going to Japan where he lives in a cottage and remain number 1 until the very day, he met Izuku and his mom.
