Chapter 53: Ultra speaks
The next day after school, Koji and Izu takes Ultra for a walk around the block as they speculate about the Warcraft of Doom's next move before Izu ask Koji why she brings animals to the building anyway, causing Koji to take a breath and told Izu a story of how she meets her bunny and have a thing for animals with a flashback. She is then shown as a shy girl before she was enrolled into kindergarten as she walked down her neighborhood until she saw a bunny being chased by a fox and ran after them believing she heard them talk. Soon after she discovers only, she can talk to animals, she convinced the fox to be a vet, causing the bunny to thank her and told Koji that she doesn't have a family. Suddenly, Izu interrupts laughing asking Koji does she really talk to animals, which caused Koji to confirm it with an annoyed expression. Koji then continues her story by saying that not only she can talk to animals, but she can also give them command, which is why her quirk is called anivoice, causing Izu to become impress, Izuku then teased Koji if an animal has a crush on her, causing Koji to laugh and wrapped an arm around Izu to give him a noogie. The kids then return home to eat.
Back inside, Izuku ask his friends and siblings if they bought food for Ultra, causing most of his friends to show him food that Ultra might like. Tsu then remind Satsuki that it's her turn to feed Ultra, causing her to take something out of her bag and put it in the food bowl while Izu told everyone that Koji can talk to animals, causing everyone to tease one another for their weird habits until Ultra surprised everyone by talking to them. Izuku then look at the empty can, revealing it to be alphabet soup, which surprise everyone even more. After an hour of processing, Izuku gets an idea and bring everyone to the lab, causing Koji and Toru to ask if he's going to do experiments on Ultra. After Izu denies their suspicion, he led everyone to his potion room where he reveals some of his completed work including growth potions since Mt. Lady got ambushed by a villain sent by the Warcraft of Doom and got killed by the villain before giving Ultra a talking potion just in case alphabet soup makes him talk temporary.
Soon, Ultra starts talking again, causing everyone to get excited until Fyumi ask everyone what their parents would say if they found out that Ultra can talk, causing Koji to agree and made everyone promise that no matter what, only they can talk to Ultra. Everyone then promises as they put their hands out and yell out plus ultra after Izu said go beyond. That night, the Peanut Gallery had a slumber party in the garage so Ultra can tell them how he ended up in the cardboard box in the first place, which was Ultra's old owner abandoned him because of his power, causing the kids to be amazed and urges him to show them. Ultra then show off some moves that looks suspiciously similar to Izuku's move when using one for all, including the fact he uses Detroit smash on the shelf, causing the kids to get paranoid believing that the Warcraft of Doom manage to steal one for all somehow before Izu do a test to make sure his quirk isn't stolen before everyone sigh in relief. Mrs. Bakugo then tell the kids to go to bed, which they all did after Izuku tell everybody that they'll deal with this in the morning. The next day, everyone have breakfast before Rocko announced a moving van is approaching their block, causing everyone to get excited and ran outside with their parents reluctantly cleaning up their mess.
