Chapter 55: Stay out of this Izu!
Once outside, Katsuki gets a flashback of himself before he got enrolled into kindergarten. He and his family used to live in a mansion as he and Sakebu were given an appointment to get anger management. On normal days, Katsuki and his big brother always fights one another and always trying to kill each other until their mother have enough. The next morning on the way to the therapy office, Sakebu made a point that people like Katsuki doesn't have friends because of their anger, causing Katsuki to call him out for being a hypocrite until he and Sakebu starts fighting, causing their mother to yell at them. Soon, the therapist told the boys that they both have potential to be someone special, like the pro heroes before telling them to choose someone to admire. After an hour of arguing and fighting, which was broken up by their parents, Katsuki and his brother choose the American hero All Might as a role model before going home. However, a montage begins as the two boys resume fighting until they met All Might in person. All Might then told the boys that he has met someone who has a son, and that boy is going to be a great role model that's not only make the world a better place. But to be the greatest hero, causing the boys to begin tolerating each other until the day that they met the boy All Might was talking about. That morning, the boys saw All Might on tv as he confirms his dating status with inko, causing the boys to realize that the boy they were supposed to be like is the same age as Katsuki, causing Sakebu to start screaming out cuss words while throwing things and attacking neighbors. After the Peanut Gallery's first fight against the Devil Brats, Sakebu is the first person to scream at Katsuki before trying to fight him, causing Katsuki to angrily tell his brother and parents that he found someone that he can be a rival to, explaining how he and Izu both wants to be like all Might and how true Izu's speech is before taunting his brother if he ever think about protecting the people he cares about just like Izu did for his classmates, Class b, Mirio, Nejire, Tamaki and Mei, which caused Sakebu to think it over. The flashback ends with Sakebu thinking about Izu and one for all after becoming friends with him while Katsuki vowing angrily to protect his friends especially Izu.
Izuku quickly ran outside along with his friends, Yagi kids, Ropu twins and other kids on the block as Katsuki and Gentle prepares to fight. Tyler them warn the boys about fighting before the bus comes, causing Gentle to tell him to shut up, calling him a quirk less freak. Katsuki then gets mad before demanding Gentle to apologize to Tyler, which he refused to do. Izuku then starts lecturing Katsuki and Gentle before Katsuki turn and told Izu to stay out of this. He then revealed everyone that he has Intermittent Explosive Disoder, which everyone from U.A. Apartments already knows, before telling everyone that he wants to be number 1 just like All Might and winds up not only getting a rival for that position, but he has people to help lead to victory and be his friends. He then angrily tells everyone that this is an opportunity for him to prove to those who underestimated him how strong he really is, causing everyone to cheer and Izu to gives Katsuki a deadpan look before taking Shenji and Nelson back inside the building.
Katsuki then start the fight off as Gentle dodges his attacks before showing off his quirk call Elastic, which made Katsuki bounce off air, much to everyone, especially Sakebu's shock. Meanwhile, Izuku think about what Katsuki said before realizing that Katsuki just wants to show his determination surpass All Might. Suddenly, Siri told Izu that the bus is going to run late today before Katsuki blasted Gentle into the building. Everyone then start begging the boys to not fight in the building while their parents are on a mission as Shenji and Nelson starts crying. However, the boys didn't listen and continues to fight until Labrava starts to pray for this to end not knowing that she's making Gentle stronger with her power of love. Katsuki then refuse to lose and fight with all of his might until a fight cloud forms, causing everyone to evacuate the building as it explodes with everyone on the block witness it.
